We booked them for my daughter's wedding. They were great. It was a beautiful venue and they handled everything for us the day of!!! Highly recommend

Our daughter had her wedding reception at Shakespeare’s. We worked with Dana and Jackie for a year planning the event, and during the entire time they were very helpful and responsive with all of our questions and changes that we made. They were also very friendly and pleasant to work with, and they are passionate about what they do. At the reception, everything ran smoothly with no issues at all. They made sure everything was perfect. The food was delicious, the food lines were efficient, the room was beautiful, and the grounds were gorgeous. Dana was there the whole time to take care of it all. We could not have been happier with the event!

Dana was the perfect wedding coordinator! She made sure everything was scheduled and looked how we wanted it to be! We did not have to worry about a single thing the day of the wedding. Also the location could not be more gorgeous! Overall our wedding could not have been better and we would recommend them to everyone!

If you are searching for an elegant, magical and unique venue in the Pittsburgh area… this is it. We had my daughter’s wedding ceremony and reception at Shakespeare’s in May 2023, and it was perfection. The venue transforms so beautifully! Our experience the entire day was wonderful. The venue’s event manager, Dana and her team were attentive and amazing. I highly recommend!!

We had our wedding at Shakespeare's in October, and Chelsea (the event coordinator) went ABOVE AND BEYOND to make sure everything was perfect on our wedding day! I seriously can't praise Chelsea and the staff at Shakespeare's enough. My grandfather (who was our officiant), a man of few words, said it was the most beautiful wedding he had ever been to, and he's been to A LOT of weddings. Everyone had a wonderful time. The food was incredible, the views from our balcony ceremony were stunning, and the reception was the most fun I've had in a long time. People are still talking about what an amazing day it was a month later. Chelsea made sure everything went smoothly throughout the day, checked in with me often to make sure I was okay and that things were going well, and she spent a lot of time solving issues that weren't even hers to solve. We had quite a bit of trouble with our florist, but Chelsea took the time and effort to make sure even the florists issues didn't stress us out. She did everything she could to make sure we had an incredible time, and we certainly did. Leading up to the wedding, Chelsea was very quick and clear in answering any questions or concerns we had about the wedding. She took all the stress of planning a wedding away. I knew this year in particular everyone in the wedding business would be swamped with weddings that were rescheduled from last year on top of the new weddings this year. However, you wouldn't have been able to tell that Chelsea was overwhelmed with brides. She was always there to talk if I had any last minute questions. She was so incredibly nice and professional through the entire process. I knew the first time I heard about Shakespeare's that it's where I wanted to get married. I'm a HUGE Shakespeare nerd, and after seeing the place in person, there is no where else I could imagine having my wedding. The whole day was simply perfect, and I'll remember it for the rest of my life. Thank you so much, Chelsea!!!

Nicole and all the staff did a wonderful job leading up to and on the day of the wedding. It was great to trust them to handle all of the last minute additions, which allowed us to relax and really enjoy the day. The venue itself is beautiful, and the food was delicious. They provided recommendations for other vendors, which made planning super easy. They also did a great job of accommodating a family member in a wheel chair.

We cannot say enough wonderful things about Nicole and her staff at Shakespeare’s! From our very first visit, we knew that this was the wedding venue for us, from the beautiful features to Nicole’s presentation. She made us feel so comfortable and confident that all details would be handled with care and efficiency on her end—and they were! Countless times we deferred to her expertise when were unsure about a certain detail (Should we have a receiving line after the ceremony? How should we time cocktail hour? When should we cut the cake? The list goes on…). Nicole was patient, friendly, and personal through it all! On the day of the wedding, we had zero stress because everything was so seamlessly handled. Shakespeare’s has great relationships with vendors in the area, so they all worked together as an ultra-professional team. Our guests raved about the food—it really is second to none. We loved every detail of having our wedding here, and we can’t wait go back in a year to celebrate our anniversary!

Nicole and Lexi the event coordinations are absolutely amazing! The venue is beautiful and romantic. The girls were there for me for everything I needed. They treated you like you were family and made sure no matter how many times I bugged them that they got back to me that day. They were with me every step of the way. I could have not asked for a better group of people to have worked with. The staff is also amazing and so kind! I am so sad that my wedding is over now because I won’t get to see them anymore! I plan on keeping in touch with them and will for sure have other events there. Food was amazing with large portions, drinks amazing I could talk all day about them. Thank you so much Nicole, Lexi & the staff for making my wedding day a dream come true!

We just got married here in September 2018 and I would recommend this venue to anyone!! Nicole, Lexi, and Allison were all wonderful to work with. They were always prompt at answering my questions and making accommodations to anything I wanted for our wedding day. The day ran smoothly and if anything didn’t go with the plan, my husband and I had no idea which is exactly what should happen! The building and land is absolutely beautiful and our pictures turned out perfect. If we could go back and replay the wedding, I would pick this venue every time!!

I cannot say enough about the Nicole Catalano and her team. The whole process was wonderful. From the beginning, I was in constant communication with next steps for planning my dream wedding. To fast forward to the wedding day, it took my breath away. When I walked into the venue to take a sneak peak of how the room was set up, I instantly started to cry because of how beautiful it was. The whole night was absolutely perfect and I owe it to Nicole and her team. She was constantly checking in to ensure we were satisfied and enjoying the night. They packaged all of our cookies for us, decor, etc... I can't say enough, how wonderful our experience was. Our family and friends still talk about how smooth everything went and how every single detail was perfect. The food was great, drink options were great... I could go on and on. The coordination is fantastic. I can't thank them enough for making this such an amazing experience.

My husband and I had our wedding at Shakespeare's on 5/5/18. Nicole and the rest of the staff were amazing throughout the entire process! We could not have picked a better venue. Our guests raved about the entire evening and the buffet was great! Having our reception at Shakespeare's was easily the best decision we made when planning the wedding!

Had our wedding here in October. The scenery was beautiful, pictures turned out great, and not one complaint about the entire evening. The guests could not stop talking how amazing the entire wedding was. Had our ceremony and reception there (200 people) and there was plenty of room. Food was delicious! We also used their preferred vendors, all of which exceeded expectations. Nicole and her staff made the entire experience enjoyable from the day we first visited. Highly recommend. Kudos to Shakespeare's and thank you for making our day amazing.

As soon as we pulled into the parking lot we knew this was going to be the venue for our wedding. The scenery is amazing and we got some beautiful pictures. We chose to do the plated dinner and the portions were large and the food was delicious. Nicole and her assistants were great to work with. We dropped off our decorations the day before our wedding and they set everything up for us. We had minimal decorations (I bought 6 flower arrangements and we used six of their lanterns, a few candles, place cards, guest gifts) and the room looked amazing. If you are looking for a venue that does everything for you so you and your guest can enjoy the day this is the place for you.

Nicole and Allison made planning our wedding a breeze! They had many great suggestions for florists, DJs, and photographers. Everything went so smoothly throughout the planning process and the day of the wedding. The Grand Hall was decorated just as I had imagined it would be and more! All of the staff at Shakespeare's did a wonderful job making our wedding day magical! The food and service was fantastic! We would highly recommend having your wedding at Shakespeare's!

My husband and I had our wedding at Shakespeare's Restaurant and pub on 4/8/17. Nicole and the staff did an amazing job making our wedding day the best experience we could have ever asked for. Wedding planning with Shakespeare's could not have been any more easier! They gave us recommendations with vendors they work with (florists, bakers, linens, and centerpieces.) when it all came together it was the most beautiful wedding and best reception ever! The food was also amazing! The staff did an excellent job attending to the wedding party and all of our guests. I would highly recommend Shakespeare's Resturant and pub for your wedding day or any event you need. Thank you again Nicole and all the staff we hope to visit again soon!

What a great place and Nicole and her staff are amazing!! From every little detail to the major things they truely made our day special. No matter how big or small anything was they were there to make sure our day was great! With an amazing view of the golf course and the great and professional staff, no need to look anywhere else, this is the place for any wedding reception!

My husband and I could not have asked for a better place to have our Harry Potter wedding and reception. From the very beginning Nicole was on top of it all. The day of was nervous enough but we were blown away by everything they did. From set up to tear down they were amazing. I would definitely recommend this venue to anyone that has a budget and wants an amazing place to say I do!

Loved this venue, so happy we chose it! They took care of EVERYTHING..food, alcohol, set up, clean up, even packed us up leftovers to take home with us. Nicole was SO HELPFUL and easy to work with. She made the planning process so stress free and easy.

Our recent experience with Shakespeare’s Restaurant could not have been better. Nicole and Lexi helped us decide on details, large and small, to make our wedding special. After all….what do I know about hosting a wedding, its not like I’ve done this before but they made it clear that they had and were confident in their abilities to throw a great party. I was very happy with how everything was going and was certain that everything would go as smoothly as possible with Nicole looking out for us. After planning an outdoor wedding for the last 15 months, I woke up the day of and the weather forecast was 39 degrees and rain all day. Nicole did not even miss a beat though, she recommended moving the ceremony indoors to the Windsor room and had everything perfect by the time guests started arriving. Wonderful job! Food was amazing! Expertise appreciated!

Nicole and Allison were absolutely AMAZING! I was planning my wedding from Colorado and they did absolutely everything they could to make my day special and beautiful! They were both very helpful , friendly , professional and extremely eager to help with anything! They were given free creative range with decorating and arranging everything for the venue and it turned out MORE than what I could ever have asked. My guest raved about how beautiful the venue was, how delicious the food was, and how beautiful everything looked. I originally thought this place would be out of my budget but it is extremely budget friendly and worth every penny and more. Nicole and Allison created a beautiful wedding reception for me and my husband and I am extremely thankful! Thank you !

My husband and I just got married there on April 11, 2015 and had a wonderful experience. Nicole is so helpful, and if you are stressing about anything on your big day, she will make sure it is taken care of. The setting is so elegant, but very affordable. Food was amazing, and so many guests complemented how nice the whole wedding was. We also had our ceremony on the balcony which was beautiful! The staff here goes above and beyond to make your day wonderful.

Used Shakespeares for my brunch bridal shower. Beautiful restaurant with even a more beautiful golf course in the background. Would recommend for a bridal shower or rehearsal dinner. Looked in to having wedding at the venue but it was not big enough for our guest size.

Everyone was so helpful! The castle is beautiful and the food was absolutely delicious. We didn't have one complaint.

The staff did a great job of caring out everything that I asked them to do. They followed my written instructions perfectly! My only complaint is that the food that we tasted during the taste test was not the same food that was served at the reception.
