He had no hesitations offering us suggestions, taking calls with us, and answering emails. Factoring in that quality flowers and floral services tend to be on the more expensive side, Ian was very helpful in offering us realistic recommendations that accommodated both our vision and budget. We met with other florists and no one even stood in comparison with what Shamrock had to offer. Our wedding flowers turned out so beautifully. There were nothing but compliments throughout the whole night. Everything was absolutely perfect. My wedding color was a bit hard to match, but I was very pleased that everything matched so wonderfully. It was everything I wanted my vision to be and more. We placed our order and didn't need to think about it any further - they brought all the flowers to our venue, set up the arch decor, and even CAME BACK to remove arch decor to place on our head table. They provided extra petals and tiny arrangements for a little extra oomph on our entryway tables and cake! We received so many compliments on my bridal bouquet, the bridesmaids bouquets, the boutonnieres, and table decor which was such a huge relief! Our photos of them turned out so magical too!

We chose Shamrock Gardens out of the 3 vendors we considered. As the wedding got closer, we met with Cody to refine our initial proposal, discuss the floral style, and work through the details. Cody was so enjoyable to work with and was so helpful in sharing sample ideas with us. He handled the church flowers, bridal and bridesmaid bouquets, and reception flowers. knew Shamrock was the right florist for me from my first meeting with Ian at their Lombard flower shop. I brought some inspiration photos and felt so confident leaving the rest to him. He was very confident, knowledgable, and I could tell that he had great taste and a lot of experience under his belt. He also had all the flower vases, candlesticks, etc. in the shop for me to pick out. They have such a beautiful variety to choose from. On my wedding day I was absolutely blown away at the job they did. My flowers turned out gorgeous and I received countless compliments from my bridal party, family, and guests. They also were able to accommodate a last minute request the week of the wedding to add more flowers to my head table. The team from shamrock communicated with my venue to coordinate delivery of flowers so that they were just there when I showed up, though they also would have delivered elsewhere if necessary. The quality and beauty greatly surpassed my expectations. I actually did not have a very clear idea of what the bouquets would look like prior to them showing up at the venue, trusting they’d look nice and they definitely delivered. Prior to selecting shamrock as our vendor, we did compare pricing at a few other places and they were comparable, if not more affordable. We ultimately went with Shamrock because they had recently sponsored the youth dance recital providing flowers and I was happy to support a business that supports the community. If you are considering shamrock, I would say absolutely go with them - they will make life much easier!
