I decided to go with the band that matched my set, and the managers there bent over *backwards* to allow us to purchase the one in the store. They had to pretend to return my engagement ring, then switch the serial numbers on my ring and the one in stock as I didn't want to part with the ring I had received the night we got engaged, then sell us the set. Oh, and then resize both the ring and the wedding band. Sounds complicated? Yup, it was. But they did it for us, and I wound up with the most beautiful ring set I have ever seen with the sentimental part still taken care of. The store was *crazy* busy while we were in there, and our associate was helping at least two other couples at the same time, but we weren't forgotten and the service was amazing!

All the salespeople do not work on commission so it was truly no pressure when it came to purchasing. So far we've had our rings cleaned a few times and every time we go in there everyone is so courteous and helpful. I will definitely go back to them again and again!

To make things right, they ended up cutting me a check to make up for some of my troubles the next day. They special ordered a ring (which did take a while to arrive) but the ring is gorgeous and their customer service is over the top. Highly, highly recommended!

They didn't carry it in stock anymore, and the salesperson I talked to said she'd have to contact corporate to see if they could order it from the manufacturer - and that it would take a week to hear back from corporate (why so long?). In the meantime, I went to a mom-and-pop jewler in Denver, she looked at my engagement ring, the manufacturer name was engraved on the inside of the band. While I was there, she called her manufacturer rep and we ordered it the same day. Done deal. Shane Co called me later that week and tolm me the ring couldn't be ordered from the manufacturer. Huh??? I gave them the feedback that I had already ordered it from the manufacturer via another jewler. It would have saved me money to buy from Shane Co - a similar wedding band was $630 at Shane Co compared $800 at this mom-and-pop (exact same ring at both retailers). Goes back to the good value of Shane Co.

We were being helped by an associate who had a couple customers at once, and everything I picked to try on just didn't work. She brought another associate over to help and focus on us alone (it wouldn't have occurred to us to ask for that), I think his name was Ben. She said he was a master at matching bands to engagement rings. The first one he picked out was it. The ring. And it cost less than we had planned, which was fantastic too! We also bought my husband's wedding band, and they were so patient given that he's never worn a ring in his life and really didn't know what to look for. Wonderful service. Amazing value. I love them!

You also can have your wedding band attached to your engagement ring at no charge and free cleanings for the life of the ring. I love that while the design isn't custom, finding the exact same one on another woman's hand will probably never happen.

to get my engagement ring cleaned and the lady was really nice, she suggested I get it not only cleaned but polished too and they were able to get it done before the wedding! It turned out beautiful, it looked brand new and so shiny! What great customer service!!

to the one I had chosen from Kay but more comfortable and aesthetically pleasing. Two years later, I have not had to get it re-coated and have not had any kind of allergic reaction. It has stayed much, much whiter than my husband's white gold wedding band which was purchased at Kay. Also, although it typically takes a week to size a chosen ring, Shane Co. was willing to overnight the process before I went out of town on vacation. On my second visit, in October, I went to Shane Co. to pick out a setting for a diamond I had inherited from a family member. The sales representative was very helpful in assessing the quality of the diamond and answering all of my questions, and waited patiently for two hours while I tried to make a decision about the setting! When I went to pick up the ring a week later, it was even more stunning than I could have imagined. Again, the service was friendly and fast. One more positive aspect of this company is that Shane Co. does not charge you an extra fee for ring maintenance; they will do repairs, re-dipping and polishing for free for a lifetime as long as the jewelry was purchased from them. I couldn't be happier and I imagine that my husband and I will visit Shane Co. for all of our future jewelry needs.

So we began there. After selecting quite a few different rings he was able to narrow down my selections and pick different diamond shapes. Within the hour I found the perfect ring, that was in a set with a wedding band. It was not as expensive as we anticipated, and they worked with my husband on his own to keep me guessing. They were able to put the ring on layaway and take over the phone payments, so I never had to know what payments were made, when and when it was paid off. After the engagement I found out that they were able to set my mothers engagement stone into the ring with no additional charge! The week before the wedding I brought my engagement ring in and they refinished and cleaned the ring for FREE! It was back to new when I got back! Great company, professional, kind, knowledgeable employees. We ended up going back to get my husbands band and they even popped on a discount for buying my rings there!
