Shannon Rose Events is a full-service wedding planning and design company located in Dallas-Fort Worth that works with couples throughout Texas. My approach as a planner and designer is to work closely with my couples to give them the utmost attention and focus on all the details big and small. I only take on a select number of events each year to ensure this doesn’t change and to allow for an efficient process.
I use my architectural background to truly build weddings from the ground up. I can see a space’s potential in an instant—and then design an environment that will make your day one to remember. I love the logistics and flow as much as the aesthetics and mood. I create events that are not only refined and elegant, but where guests feel comfortable and can let loose. I love incorporating natural elements and textures that echo the location into my designs, which lean timeless and colorful.
Whether planning a wedding for a few dozen guests or several hundred, the Shannon Rose Events approach means that each one is customized to each client’s unique story and style. I work tirelessly to make sure my couples are at ease from the moment we start planning until the last person has left your celebration. Hiring a wedding planner was one of the best decision I made. Wedding planning is overwhelming and stressful, and having someone to provide guidance and direction makes all the difference. It also takes a ton of stress of the bride, mother of the bride, maid of honor, etc on the day off, and allows everyone to just enjoy the day instead of stressing about all the little things.
Shannon is the best of the best! She made our wedding perfect. We technically hired her as "3 month" planner, but what we got with Shannon was SO much more. She was available via email throughout the entire process, and was always so quick and helpful to respond with even the smallest question. She also provides an incredibly helpful planning tool which helped me stay on track with planning and provided so much helpful guidance. There were so many little things we never would have thought of without Shannon, she clearly has so much experience and knows how to make a wedding run smoothly. Our wedding day could not have gone more perfectly, Shannon and Kara were so wonderful and our wedding party loved them too. They were so helpful, not only to us as the Bride and Groom, but also to our parents. They made sure our parents were front and center at all times so they did not miss any of the special moments like our entrance, cake cutting etc. Shannon was the #1 reason that I think our wedding turned out so perfectly, and we were so grateful to get to work with her!
To say Shannon is proficient, professional, reliable, creative, amazing is not enough to describe her. No words can truly describe everything Shannon and her team designed and put together for our wedding day! I truly felt that this day was everything I dreamed of and MORE! I was drawn to Shannon prior to our first meeting from her informative questionnaire she had and during our interview. I loved how organized and direct she was with questions, hers and our vision and the small details. I felt that we knew exactly what we were getting and there was no "hidden fees/services". Shannon made the design process not only informative, but fun to experience. I could email her and I knew things were being taken care. Part of her process is budgeting and helping figure out the estimated amounts for each vendor; this was super helpful and allowed us to have transparency throughout our process.
We had something happen with our original venue, BUT Shannon was on it with other options for us. She helped talk me through that hard moment as well as others throughout the process, but made our love of craft beer shine through in the design of the new venue.
The day of our wedding, everything was flawless and nothing went wrong; if it did, Shannon took care of it and I never knew about it! My husband and I were able to enjoy this joyous occasion with our guests and leave knowing everything was being taken care of with vendors, the venue, our guests and more.
It was scary taking "a leap of faith" in someone, but was the best decision and so ensuring to know that we had someone to just take the reigns and take care of everything. "Trust the process" with Shannon and she will not steer you wrong. Not only did she go above and beyond with our wedding experience; we truly felt that she cared about us as a couple and listened. I loved getting to know Shannon and recommend her a million times over!
Shannon is absolutely amazing! There are not enough positive adjectives in the world to describe how good she is at her job. I never would have dreamed that my wedding would be as beautiful as it was. Her attention to detail is impeccable and it was incredible seeing how it all came together the day of my wedding. She talks about being a "boutique style" wedding planner and that is exactly what she is. Shannon was always available and took care of literally EVERYTHING that needed to be done. On my wedding day Shannon and her team paid so much attention to detail and took care of my husband and I all night long. Her whole planning process ran so smoothly and she will walk you step by step of what needs to be taken care of and in what order. She holds a high standard for the vendors that she recommends and because of this it added to the overall aesthetic of my wedding. Let me tell you, when I had a vendor ask who my wedding planner was and I replied with, Shannon Rose Events, their faces lit up and the way they spoke about her was with the utmost respect. They actually complimented me about my choice in a wedding planner! I had so many of my guests tell me that it was the most beautiful wedding they had ever been to. Shannon is truly the sweetest and most hard working person I have ever worked with. In fact, when my wedding was over I was really sad that I wouldn't get to work with her anymore! She genuinely loves what she does and you would not regret hiring her. I definitely recommend having Shannon be right along side you as you plan for one of the most important days in your life!

She took the ideas of our dream wedding and made them even more beautiful! She is highly organized and treated our wedding as if it were her own. She didn’t leave out a single detail, keeping all of us on time and even making sure our guests were comfortable at the wedding. The contacts she recommended were also the best ever. Hiring Shannon was by far the best decision we made throughout our entire wedding, I cannot rave about her enough! We hired her for "Full Planning" and she went above and beyond to make our vision happen. We were fairly indecisive about a number of things, and so just giving her words to describe what we had in mind, she helped us narrow our focus and come up with the most beautiful vision, all the while being the most patient and kind person through the whole process! Shannon kept in touch with us constantly and responded quickly through every correspondence we had, went with us to all of our meetings with multiple venues and vendors (even with our wedding being out of town), and just made the overall planning run smoothly and flawlessly. Her input and hard work helped make our day absolutely perfect. We didn't stress about one aspect of our wedding before or during knowing that Shannon and her team were there to run things and support us. Our friends and family LOVED Shannon, they were talking about how organized and on-top-of-everything she was while still being incredibly kindhearted to everyone she worked or talked with. We even had questions a couple weeks after our wedding and she was still quick to respond. I can't imagine going through any of this process without her. Seriously, y'all, she and her team are so impressive and so amazing, I wish she could continue just planning my life.

Right after I got engaged, one of the first vendors I called was Shannon. She was my sisters month-of planner and I remember how amazing she was and knew I wanted her to be apart of my special day. I did her month-of planning service. However, she does so much more than just a month-of. She helped with vendor recommendations, advice, and when some crisis's arose, she jumped right in to help. She listens to what you want and really cares to make your day special. She is so aware of detail, which is so important in a wedding!! I know my day would not have been the same without her and I can't thank her enough. I was so calm the day of my wedding and was really able to just enjoy myself. I trusted her completely and that is rare and so valuable in a planner, and person.
Shannon possesses all the qualities any bride would want in a wedding planner. She is creative, extremely organized, communicative and efficient. I was truly blown away at how everything came together for our wedding last month. I knew it was going to be great but it turned out AMAZING! I was so impressed by her attention to detail and how well she was able to bring my vision to life. Shannon kept me up to date about decisions for the wedding and was always available by phone and email whenever I had a question or thought. She also has amazing vendors to recommend which saved me a lot of time and money. (She does not make a commission from these recommendations, either. Where would I have been without Shannon? Choosing to hire Shannon was the best decision we made. During the whole process, she was available whenever I needed her. I do not consider myself talented in the areas of decorating, planning events, and choosing color schemes, themes, etc. Shannon guided us through everything. She was patient when unexpected things occurred during the planning process. The week before the wedding, my coworkers could not believe how stress-free I was- my answer was simple: Shannon! The wedding was perfect- everything I imagined and more! She was super organized, attentive, and was always two steps ahead of me (and everyone else). I was at ease during each part of the wedding and reception because I had full trust in her. I would HIGHLY recommend Shannon for your event!
Shannon and Kara were awesome! I was so glad that we had Kara and the team to make our day special. She was on top of everything and being a VERY type A bride, I really appreciated it. She made sure everything was totally seamless and was incredibly thorough. On top of that- she was incredibly sweet too! I felt like Kara cared about my wedding as if it was her own and it made for an absolute gorgeous event. I would highly recommend them!
Hiring Shannon was one of the best decisions my husband and I made during the wedding planning process. We would have been lost without her! Not only is she awesome at what she does (professional, organized, creative, knowledgeable, etc.), she is also a kind and caring individual, which made the experience that much better. She suggested great vendors, helped our thoughts/ideas come to fruition, passed on quality tips and tricks, kept us on track with helpful to-do lists, and dealt with day-of speed bumps like a seasoned pro. Shannon was AWESOME throughout our entire planning process. I'm the type of person who thought I could do it all on my own (until I realized exactly how much goes into planning a wedding). When I found Shannon she instantly made me feel relieved. She answered any questions I had (and there were a LOT) and recommended other awesome vendors! She had beautiful design ideas, is extremely down to earth, and on the big day she made sure everything pulled together perfectly. Stuart and I are so lucky to have found her!

I had just moved from Fort Worth to the Houston area with my now husband but we still wanted to get married in my hometown. Finding a wedding planner seemed like a big task (especially since we would be planning from 4 hours away) and we didn’t know what to expect. We set up several meetings with planners in the area. Shannon was our second meeting & we immediately hit it off! She’s so easy to talk to and is very encouraging about your wedding vision. We decided to hire her immediately as a full time planner and began to look at venues, we modified our ideal date just so we could work with her! Vendor shopping was a breeze! When it came time to do our design meeting, I was very nervous to see how my ideas, words, and Pinterest board would translate to Shannon. Let me tell you, she NAILED IT! Throughout the entire planning process, Shannon was available, honest, respectful (she doesn’t get her feelings hurt if you’re not feeling her idea), her energy is contagious and I left every meeting feeling excited. She’s not scared to take on any vision for your wedding and I love seeing what she’s up to every weekend on her Instagram stories. Her professionalism really showed on the wedding day, a day I found to be chaotic but she kept her cool and keeps you on time with a smile on her face. My husband and I will be forever grateful for the time spent with her during such an amazing start to our lives together. I would recommend Shannon 10/10 times!

Shannon helped my husband and I plan our wedding this past month and everything was absolutely fantastic. Not only did she make my vision come true with her design ability, but she even created beautiful little DIY projects that coincided with my theme. There were so many little things I would have been incredibly stressed out about or even forgotten completely, but she helped me stay in check along the entire way and recommended the most amazing vendors. I cannot say enough of how AMAZING Shannon was for my wedding. She went above and beyond for every single thing we needed to do. We had meetings for pre planning, planning, flower meetings, design and so much more. What is so great about Shannon is that she answered ALL of my emails/phone calls in a timely manner and always had the best advice, and budget friendly options. She truly made my wedding so special and unique. She had so many ideas to do unique features in order for my wedding to not fall in the "norm". She had a homework list made for me that was extremely helpful. She checked in with me constantly and was never too pushy ever. Me and and my now husband were blown away by Shannon on the day of our wedding. We knew how amazing she was at planning but the execution was better than anything I could have imagined! Any question I had she had a answer and anything I wanted to change last minute she made happen and happen QUICK!

There are seriously not enough positive things I can say about Shannon Rose Events! Shannon made the entire process so fun and took away all my stress. I got married in Tyler, TX (where my husband grew up and I didn't know any vendors), planned the wedding while living in Galveston/Houston and in graduate school, and Shannon was in Ft Worth. You would think that would be hectic but Shannon made the entire process a breeze! She recommended amazing vendors to work with and everyone of them was incredible. Shannon also made our wedding SO BEAUTIFUL! She took my unorganized messy Pinterest boards and totally nailed the look that I wanted but didn't know how to express. We have received SO many compliments about how beautiful everything was! Shannon also knows how to organize the day to make everything flow perfectly! I had no stress about when vendors were arriving and setting up because I knew Shannon and her team were taking care of it. I was free to relax and enjoy the day with my girls. She will also take care of you throughout the whole night! The bustle to my dress broke during the reception so I ran to Shannon and she got right down on the floor and pinned it up! We have received so many compliments about how fun the reception was and how everything flowed so perfectly and that is all thanks to Shannon Rose Events! Shannon thinks of everything and I know for a fact our wedding was so perfect because of Shannon and her incredible team! She is the sweetest person to work with and so organized. The entire process was seamless from start to finish. She knows how to take your vision and bring it to life. Shannon is one of the kindest people and truly listens to what you want. From the start, she gathered exactly what I was envisioning and worked so hard to make it happen. She is very detailed oriented and thought of everything possible to make our day flawless. Wedding planning never felt stressful thanks to her. She sends you monthly to do lists and will have a final “day of” coordination meeting to go over every little detail so you do not have to worry about a single thing. She will help create your seating chart and an amazing timeline for the day of. She connected us with some of the most incredible vendors and was always mindful of our budget. I truly do not believe we could have done this without her.
Shannon even took time out of her Saturday to meet with us because of my crazy work schedule. She is INCREDIBLE at what she does and you would be crazy not to hire her. Our wedding turned out to be absolutely magical. I actually cried when I got to the venue and saw how beautiful everything was. She nailed it! I could not have dreamed that my own wedding would turn out so amazing. Her team took care of everything on the day of and were nothing but helpful!

Shannon and her team are incredible! From day one I felt like I was telling a friend what I envisioned for my wedding and she did everything to make it happen! She was super organized and prepared for all of our meetings and great about follow up and keeping up with all my vendors and payments. I had zero stress through the whole process because I knew that Shannon was already on top of any issues before I could even think of them! On the day of our wedding, we had some weather and wind issues but her and her team took care of everything and I never even noticed any problems! She was instantly able to help me gather my thoughts for our wedding and turned them into an absolutely beautiful event. Not even sure where to begin-- Shannon is the absolute best planner (and human being)-- she is authentic, kind, professional, talented and somehow manages to be easy going while at the same time being prompt and task-oriented--that is rare. I am not detail oriented and emailed Shannon about a 1000 times with little questions--not only did she answer quickly, but she never made me feel like a burden or a hassle-- Shannon is down-to-earth and helped create the wedding of our dreams. I cannot have imagined having anyone else planning my wedding. As someone who is both picky and indecisive at the same time and someone who has vocal family members trying to share their opinions, Shannon really had her work cut out for her. She did a spectacular job, the day could not have gone more perfectly. She not only has incredible design talent but also the patience of a saint. She was able to take my rambling thoughts, burgeon them into true ideas, and then make them into a reality, and on a strict budget too! She also designed my floral arrangements which were like a pinterest-dream come true!
I hired Shannon for full wedding planning. It's the best choice I made! I was able to enjoy my engagement without feeling stressed or overwhelmed with the details of the big day. Shannon tracked down awesome vendors, did our amazing florals (one of my favorite details of our wedding!) and planned the most beautiful day for us from start to finish. Our guests have raved about how wonderful our wedding was, and it is all because of Shannon's attention to detail and great team. The first time I met with Shannon to discuss her wedding planning services I was very impressed. She was SUPER organized and very detail-oriented—a huge relief to this very overwhelmed teacher! After our meeting, I actually cancelled the other two wedding planners I had scheduled meetings with and booked Shannon the next day for her “month of” coordination, which actually starts three months before your wedding day so that all the questions are answered way ahead of time. Brilliant. At our next meeting, Shannon and I went through a very detailed timeline of the wedding day—all the way from morning hair and makeup to us leaving the reception. She provided great insight into what works and what doesn’t. She sent us “homework” to finalize the parts of the ceremony and reception that we still weren’t sure about at the time of the meeting. This was such a great way to keep my husband and I on track and not miss any of the details. At our final meeting, Shannon and I did a walk through of our reception venue. She created a floor plan that helped us maximize the floor space as well as our budget for flowers and décor. Between meetings, Shannon and I were in constant communication via email, phone, and text. She also recommended great vendors for linens, cake, etc.
And Shannon and her team did not let us down... Our wedding ceremony and reception went perfectly! They worked SO well within the parameters of our wedding ceremony venue coordinator despite a lot of differences, and kept everyone calm and everything flowing. They took care of EVERYTHING (room and décor set up, clean up, pacing, music) and NOTHING changed their smiling faces! I can’t tell you how many times my husband has raved about her or how many compliments I received on how well the ceremony and reception went. We were able to thoroughly enjoy our wedding day because of Shannon and her team.
I completely forgot to mention how beautiful our bouquets and floral arrangements were… Of course, Shannon designed them! My bridesmaids LOVED their bouquets, and my mom is still talking about the centerpieces. The quality and colors were exactly what we wanted, and it was so great to have a vendor I knew I could trust.

My wedding was June 11, 2016 and I used Shannon Rose Events for her month of coordination package and her floral design. Words cannot express how grateful I am that I had Shannon and her team as my coordinator. I met with a few other wedding coordinators but decided to choose Shannon based on how warm, down to earth and knowledgeable she was in our first meeting. She seemed to know every question and detail to ask and let me know all about her background and experience. It was by far the BEST decision I made in planning my wedding. From that day forward Shannon was amazingly prompt and answered emails and phone calls almost immediately. She designed a floor plan for our reception which worked out beautifully. She has a background in architecture so she definitely knows her stuff, TRUST HER- she goes above and beyond!! Shannon remembered every single detail and executed my ideas/vison flawlessly. I thought it would be difficult to describe my style and vocalize exactly what I imagined to her and on the wedding day the reception literally took my breath away. She nailed it! Shannon also did my flowers and I had several wedding guests approach me during the reception to ask me who my florist was. I can’t keep her all to myself so of course I said Shannon Rose Events! At the time, as a bride with a wedding day fast approaching, you have so many questions, concerns and anxiety… I can honestly say if you use Shannon and her team, you have NO reason to worry at all. You can rest assured that your wedding will be absolutely gorgeous. The timeline was on point. The ceremony, cocktail hour, photos, wedding party entrance, first dance, etc EVERYTHING transitioned perfectly. She was extremely professional and also looked beautiful! (elegant bun and blazers - they looked so chic). Prior to the ceremony Shannon and her assistant geared up with headsets in the bridal suite ready to roll. She’s extremely organized and remembers EVERYTHING. She is passionate about what she does and it is reflected in her work. Seriously. Just book her now. It will be the best decision you make! I was actually not planning on having a coordinator for my wedding but as things started moving along I realized I was completely in over my head. Enter Shannon. Not only did I have zero clue what I wanted as far as decor/design I had no idea how to implement any kind of random ideas that would float into my head. Shannon took care of everything and it turned out BEAUTIFUL. Not just the decor but also the flowers. I am not a flower person and I was a little uneasy at first to have a ton of floral but she designed it perfectly that were just enough but definitely not an overwhelming amount. Every single one of my guests have come up to me either at the wedding or in the days after telling me how it was not only the most beautiful but the most smoothest running wedding they had ever been to. I could not have done half the job that Shannon and her team did. Not to mention her assistant that basically made it her job to chase my two year old toddler tornado around the venue. I really could have no asked for a better wedding and I'm so grateful to Shannon and everyone else with Shannon Rose Events that had a hand in putting together this day.

If she isn't available for your date I would change it to when she is open! There are not enough words for me to express how pleased my new husband and I are with the job she did. Shannon Rose Events is the bomb dot com! Shannon was truly the best to work with. I interviewed several coordinators and she listened without being pushy or judgmental. She really "got me". I was so impressed with her design skills and ideas. She was so easy to work with and very accommodating. Wedding day was a breeze and super laid-back, not chaotic at all!
I got so MANY compliments not just on how great the wedding was, but on the decorations and flowers. She does her own floral designs and I was simply blown away. The flowers were of spectacular quality and her taste is impeccable.
Overall, it was the best money I spent on the entire wedding and the best decision to have a professional assist with the planning. I did not want any of my friends and family to "work" my wedding and Shannon was such a pro at orchestrating the day to make sure everything came together.

Shannon Rose Events was a God send! We could not have planned such a wonderful event without Shannon's expertise. She helped guided us through the process and made our vision a reality. Shannon went above and beyond throughout the whole planning process and the day of. I hired Shannon as my day of coordinator and my florist, which was super helpful. As my planner and florist, she knew my overall vision and helped execute it on so many levels. Shannon was able to help me streamline my design.
From the start, I felt that Shannon was honest, down to earth, and a person I would like to have around me. My mom and I instantly loved her personality and we knew she was a great fit for us. She canceled our contract after 6 months of planning and communication. She told us through an email ! We were blindsided and shocked. She never mentioned anything about even thinking of doing such a thing. She didn't give us a understandable reason as to why either. She was always kind and respectful. She also did exactly what she said she would do. I just can't believe someone would quit on you with no warning. We were in the middle of our progress and she left us in a panic.

Shannon was FANTASTIC. I hired her for "the month of." I was not planning of having a planner, but I was started to get overwhelmed and a friend suggested hiring a wedding planner and referred me to Shannon. My friend was engaged and had hired her as well. I am so glad that I did!!! Shannon responds back to email/text/phone SO promptly, is so organized, thorough, efficient, patient, kind, assertive and so so so so good at her job. At our first meeting she spent 2 hours with me, getting know know me, the style of our wedding, what I was looking for help with, and then asking me all these little questions about the wedding that I hadn't even though of yet. Which was so great! I didn't have to worry anymore about forgetting anything because she knew everything I needed to do. I immediately had peace of mind. At our subsequent meetings/conversations she continued to be fantastic. She made sure all of the vendors were on track with the timeline and their roles. She made my whole timeline and floor plan for me which was incredible. She knew were all the plugs/lights were for the DJ. She knows how to space plan and has an eye for good design. I am a bit of a perfectionist and like to do things myself. But I learned very quickly I didn't need to look over her shoulder. I gave her all of my decor for the wedding and she set everything up and it looked better than I could have ever imagined. She worked with the venue's coordinator wonderfully. The 3 of us had one meeting together as the date got closer and it was so wonderful having her on my side just taking charge. She coordinated our rehearsal the night before perfectly and worked so hard for me and my fiancé on our wedding day. We didn't want to get married inside unless it was storming. My fiancé felt the exact same way as I did. The weather was clearing up Saturday morning with a small chance of rain in the afternoon, but no storms. We made the call to set up outside. There was a little bit of trouble in figuring out how to do it due to the ground being soft outside etc. But Shannon thought outside the box and worked with the venue and MADE IT HAPPEN. And it was the most gorgeous bright and sunny afternoon any of us have ever seen this whole year (given all of the rain). Our ceremony was one of the most beautiful moments of my life, mostly because I was marrying the love of my life, but the other part was because Shannon worked so hard to make it exactly how we wanted. I can't even put into words how beautiful it was. She was on site, hands in throughout the whole day and night. She coordinated everything. From handling the drunk groomsmen, to the stressed bride wanting to get married outside our VERY LARGE wedding party, all the vendors, the timeline etc. At the end of the night she packed up all of my decor for me. My Kate Spade flutes were washed and packages back in their box perfectly. She was perfect. Her attention to detail was incredible. She even gave me a card and a tiny bottle of champagne as a wedding gift! Her assistant was also fantastic! My husband was so impressed with both of them. We will never forget Shannon above all of our other vendors and everything she did for us on our wedding day. She helped create such a beautiful memory for us. To me, there is no better wedding planner. Shannon has a heart of gold and treated our wedding as if it were her own. Look no further brides! And Shannon you have a bride career future ahead. I could not be happier with my choice in choosing Shannon Rose Events as the florist for my wedding. I met Shannon at a Dallas bridal show and instantly connected with her! She really understood what I was going for and had some great ideas. Of course when I met up with her after that, it was no different. Shannon was so interested in getting to know my fiancé and I so she could really put a personal twist on our flowers. I will be the first to admit, I know nothing about flowers or what kind I like or what colors they come in or anything like that! Shannon was able to really listen to what I wanted and what kind of look I was going for and really took the reigns and developed something absolutely beautiful. I gave her A LOT of creative control and flexibility because she is the expert and I felt so confident that she would come up with something great, and she did not disappoint. When Shannon showed up the day of my wedding with the bouquets, boutineers, centerpieces, cake flowers, and aisle decorations, I was blown away! My flowers were beautiful and she created something better than I could have ever imagined. My fiancé is really into fishing so she made his boutineer with a little fishing lure. Glitter was also a theme of our wedding and Shannon was able to incorporate that in our flowers as well. It was really cool to see our personalities reflected in our flowers.
Not only were our flowers AMAZING but we also got a lot of bang for our buck. Flowers can be so expensive, but Shannon really makes sure you get a lot of flowers and less greenery/filler items. Her flowers are also great quality and lasted all night long and still looked great the next day!

Shannon went above and beyond for the flowers for my wedding! I had some last minute changes two days before the wedding and she didn't mind at all! They flowers came back PERFECT and I got more compliments than I could have imagined! Shannon is a joy to work with, and has the sweetest personality!
