Sharpe Events and Designs

Wallie Sharpe and Jacquie McLennon of Sharpe Events served as my Day of Wedding Coordinators. They were extremely thorough, paying close attention to every detail during the planning phase and on the actual wedding day! There apparently were a couple of hiccups encountered on the day of my wedding. I, however, did not hear about these hiccups until I returned from my honeymoon! They, also, managed to make sure that my guests did not learn of the few hiccups, which was especially important to me! They did a great job managing the guests and the dreaded reception seating , as a few guests cancelled at the last minute and uninvited guests showed up as well! Wallie and Jacquie gave me peace of mind! I had a BLAST on my wedding day!

Sharpe Events & Designs does not advertise; they are busy enough by word-of-mouth. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Wallie, Jacquie, and their team. My event coordinator recommended one of her preferred vendors. He was about an hour late to our initial meeting, did not listen, did not follow-through with a time-line he set, and quoted nearly 4x's our budget! A little panicky, I shared this story in detail with a co-worker who was getting married two weeks before me. She dug through her purse and handed me Sharpe Events & Designs' business card. I e-mailed Sharpe as well as five other vendors recommended by my coordinator or the City of West Palm Beach; I also followed-up with a phone call to each on the same day. Ms. Jacquie with Sharpe Events called me within 24 hours. The other vendors either sent back proposals based upon my e-mail or did not e-mail/call me back. Jacquie noted it was important to SPEAK with me to ensure a proper proposal. THAT is customer service. In seven weeks, Sharpe Events & Designs turned a panicky bride into a calm, cool, and collected wife. Wallie and his team went ABOVE AND BEYOND to meet our budget, accommodate our requests, and surpass our vision. It was important to my husband to have a speak-easy lounge; no vendor I contacted or researched on-line had the rentals to match our vision. Wallie allowed me to gather material (chairs, couch, tables, etc.) AND STORE IT AT HIS OFFICE! Jacquie met me several times, switching from high heels to flats, to unload furniture! This is NOT customary. They are wonderful people who are dedicated to their field. I haven't even mentioned the presentation! If I could attach pictures, I would. Everything was so beautiful and accurate. I could NOT have been more pleased. When Brian and I arrived and saw our venue transformed for the first time, we actually stopped in our tracks, hand-in-hand.
