When my now-husband and I began wedding planning, I was hesitant to hire a wedding coordinator. I am used to planning events and executing them myself. However, as I got further into the wedding planning process...I knew I needed help! I knew if I wanted to actually enjoy our day without stress, I needed to relinquish control the day of our wedding!!! As soon as I started working with Corinne through Shawfield Events & Design, I knew I had made the right decision. She made things EFFORTLESS. She listened to all of my crazy ideas, supported them, and ultimately made each and every one of them come to life the day of our wedding. My husband and I were able to enjoy ourselves, while also knowing and trusting that our guests were being taken care of, as well! Meghan and her husband were BEYOND helpful. They not only offered helpful advice, but were intuitive of my/my spouse's needs, and our go-to people from the day we consulted to the days following our wedding. My only regret is not hiring her sooner! I plan to use her in other events for the future and would recommend her to friends and family without hesitation.

Wow! Where do I even begin? Hiring a day of coordinator was always something I thought about, but often the first thing I got rid of when the budget got tight. Boy am I glad I finally made it a priority! Corrine and Meghan are the literal definition of dream team! They made me feel like nothing could ruin my day! They helped keep me organized, reminded me when I needed to get certain things done when I would procrastinate, dealt with every little issue that came up with some of our vendors, and truly made my wedding a dream! I had multiple people comment on how calm I was the day of and I can only truly attribute this to these 2! They truly let me just focus on the important stuff while they made sure everything went off without a hitch! I loved every minute with them and cannot recommend them more! If you’re on the fence, it’s worth it!

It was sort of a last minute decision to hire a wedding coordinator. As the day approached, I realized we needed help executing our plans so we could enjoy the day. What a great decision. We chose the Month of/Day of service and ended up adding the rehearsal package at the last minute as well. In the month leading up to the wedding, Corrine and Meghan helped us coordinate with our vendors, created a timeline for everything and made suggestions that helped us with finishing touches. When the day arrived, they helped with last minute issues like forgotten batteries, cake flowers, etc. At one point I texted them because I forgot to do something at the reception venue…it was already done AND they sent pictures to calm my nerves! I had a couple concerns once the reception began and they promptly handled those with the vendors. I cannot say enough good things about Shawfield Events. They are amazing…and had I known just how amazing, I would have hired them very early in the planning process.

Corrine and Meghan were recommended to me by our venue and I couldn’t be more grateful to have found them. They’re both extremely friendly and did such a great job keeping me calm and sticking to our schedule day of. One of their strengths is that they both have a great eye for design and decor. Our chuppah and table decor looked absolutely beautiful. I trusted them to take the decor that I purchased and set it up without my supervision and they did not disappoint. I could not have made the ceremony and reception areas as beautiful as they did. Corrine and Meghan made incredibly helpful suggestions and guided me along the way. By the time the day rolled around, I knew that the day would go smoothly thanks to all of their prep work and recommendations. It was the peace of mind I needed to fully disconnect and focus on the task at hand: getting married. :) Anytime I needed to reach either of them, I knew they were just a phone or email away. They were so responsive and proactive when it came to the planning process. This is another reason I would highly recommend using Shawfield. Corrine and Meghan go above and beyond. I can’t recommend them enough. I’m SO grateful to have had them for our big day.

I hired Megan and Corrine to be our wedding day coordinators and they went above and beyond. They are so friendly and understanding when it comes to providing you suggestions to make the most of your day. Most importantly, both are VERY responsive to email which gives you peace-of-mind as your day draws closer. Megan and Corrine prioritized getting the day of schedule together a few months before my wedding so I could share it with my vendors. They ensured that I had low stress as the big day got closer by becoming the point of contact for all my vendors' questions. When one of my vendors was unresponsive, they contacted them daily until they got the information they needed. I loved that on the day of we two coordinators, one that could be at the reception location to receive decorations and oversee the setup and one that could be with me at the ceremony location to make sure we were on track. They made my wedding day so smooth and I am so glad I hired them.

WOW! Meghan and Corinne at Shawfield Events & Design are the absolute best!I had communication troubles with other vendors so it was so refreshing when Meg and Corinne reached out to me or responded in a timely manner! I’m a very visual person and they created the most beautiful mock ups up showing what the actual space would look like with the decor/look I wanted and it was such a relief to see what it would look like…absolutely what I envisioned! They were super quick to answer my questions, let me talk through my ideas with them, and even went looking for a few things that I was searching for for our wedding. Not only did they help me throughout the planning process but they were the best during the rehearsal and wedding day as well! They are very organized, timely, and excellent problem solvers where they came up with quick solutions when a few things didn’t go or arrive as planned. Thank you for being there for me throughout the entire process, I couldn’t have done it without you girls! I definitely recommend Shawfield Events & Design! They are so fun, sweet, and are so knowledgeable about everything wedding!

I cannot say enough good things about Corinne and Meghan. They are the DREAM TEAM! Let’s start from the beginning- I had posted in a wedding group searching for a decorator and day of coordinators. Meghan and Corinne reached out to me to tell me about their services. I’m extremely type A, basically already had my wedding planned down from the second I woke up to the second I left the reception. I had a specific vision of where I wanted each piece of decor and how I wanted it to look. The thought of letting go of that control and letting someone else take over was HARD at first- but I know I needed to in order to be fully present on our wedding day and my God, I am so glad that I did. Right away after booking them for day of coordination and decorating, Meghan and Corinne quickly gained my trust, and throughout the months leading up to the wedding, I feel like they have become family to me in a way. They were a huge part of a very important day. They conducted a seamless event, decorated the event space to make it look absolutely perfect, made sure we stuck to the timeline that we created together, and when we had time to spare after the ceremony, they worked to get things moved up so we could have more time to party on the dance floor! They handled some small issues that came up with other vendors with grace, and I knew that they had my back no matter what. I would HIGHLY recommend Shawfield Events & Design to anyone and everyone!!! THANK YOU GUYS SO MUCH! I wish we could have a 2nd wedding just so I had an excuse to virtually hang out with you two again during planning! 🤣

We got to work with Meghan and Corinne for our day of coordination! They were amazing. There was great communication leading up to the day by Shawfield and they brought up some details that I haven't thought of. On the day, Meghan and Corinne were on top of everything. They even ran to Costco to pick up some last minute cupcakes as our bakery didn't bring the correct number. SO great!

We decided one month before our wedding to hire a day of coordinator and found Shawfield Events & Design. Despite the slightly last-minute nature of our decision, Corinne & Meghan didn't hesitate jumping headfirst into our wedding planning team! Corinne & Meghan were in tune with every detail. They were prompt in their communication, thorough in their planning and so fun and easy to work with! They will do anything for their couples. I was SO relaxed on our day because I trusted them completely. Our rehearsal and wedding day were perfect!! If you are on the fence about hiring a coordinator, let this be your sign to do it and hire Shawfield Events & Design- you won't regret it!!

Corrine and Meghan came to our rescue when our previous day-of coordinator abandoned us 45 days from our event. In just that short amount of time, they killed it! They familiarized themselves with all of our details and vendors in no time and set up great communication lines with all of them at record speed. They made sure we were all on the same page. I am a VERY type-A person and it takes a lot of effort and professionalism for me to let go of the reins and they absolutely made me comfortable with that. The day of, I was able to fully enjoy my day with 0 stress thanks to them. They were on top of everything. They were even able to facilitate care for our dogs who were part of the ceremony so I didn’t even have to worry about them. Again, I am absolutely the crazy dog mom type, for me to trust someone with them takes a lot. They took over the decor setup and took our vision and ran with it, creating a fairytale setting that was exactly what we wanted (more, actually). They were kind, professional, and friendly at all times. Our very experienced officiant who has worked with countless planners specifically mentioned how impressed he was with them. They were easy to talk to and incredibly responsive. We cannot recommend Shawfield Events enough to anyone needing wedding planning services.
