We worked with her for her Event Management package. We didn't need a full planner, but were also looking for more support than just a day-of coordinator. In the package we selected, we were able to meet with Shelby 4 times prior to our official planning package beginning 6 weeks out from out wedding, and she was also available by email. Those 4 pre-planning meetings were incredibly helpful for staying organized, and they gave us the opportunity to get to know Shelby and become comfortable with her. I am very Type A, and Shelby provided us with 2 phenomenal planning documents, including a planning timeline that helped us stay on top of what tasks we should be working on at particular stages of the planning process. Shelby is so incredibly kind and helpful! She made our planning process seamless and was a true lifesaver on wedding day. Every single thing was done exactly how we wanted it. The decor looked amazing, and Shelby was always available if we or our vendors had questions (both in advance and on wedding day). Her assistant, Mary, was also wonderful! Shelby is worth every penny and more. She will be the best "vendor" you work with for your wedding, and by the end of the process, she'll feel more like a friend than your wedding coordinator. Book her immediately!

My whole family was super impressed and grateful!!

023 wedding! We booked her for month-of coordination but our conversations began quite a while before that month mark. I am a firm believer that a day-of coordinator is absolutely worth it- even if the venue comes with an on-site coordinator (which ours did and she was lovely too!) but I'd hire Shelby again a thousand times over. Don't ask your friends or family to handle those day-of logistics and do yourself a favor and do not do it yourself! The event is so, so worth professional support! We were able to be fully present all morning and evening. We didn't need to worry about the arrival of vendors, setting up tables, or cleaning any of it up! Shelby is communicative, and thoughtful, and works to educate her couples throughout the process. She gave us great advice and tips and made the months, weeks, and days leading up to the event stress-free. I am a control freak through and through- and I am so, so glad we worked with Shelby! I'd recommend her to anyone who will listen.

possible. I choose to have an outdoor wedding and one of the downsides of that is the possibility of rain and unfortunately it started storming about 10 minutes before our private ceremony. Shelby was calm cool and collected, after keeping an eye on the radar she suggested pushing it back 30 minutes and right on queue it stopped raining and everything worked out perfectly. She even saved some of the rain water for us in a bottle to save as a memory. After our September wedding, we had family and friends that interacted with her go out of their way to give us feedback about how great and helpful she was. She was on top of every aspect and because of her and her team, our day ran as flawlessly as possible. I truly can not say enough positive things about her and her work ethic and knowledge of her profession.

Our April wedding was the only wedding that she took on before her own wedding in May, and she was always a call or text away, no matter what. She even texted us from her husband's phone while they were out at dinner one night because she forgot her phone at home; how thoughtful?! We would have been 1000x more stressed without Shelby on our wedding day and the days leading up to it. She allowed us to sit back and enjoy all the little moments because we knew that everything would be taken care of. hout Shelby. On the day of- it POURED down rain, but Shelby worked with my venue to make the necessary changes all while I was getting ready with my bridesmaids. Shelby took care of everything. Leading up to the wedding, she scheduled calls with all of the vendors to make sure that we had everything in place. She did a site walk through with me and spent countless hours on the phone with me walking through every situation possible. Shelby was an invaluable part of our wedding and I never could have done it without her. I would recommend her to everyone!

true procrastinator - yes, even for my own wedding. I booked with Shelby about 9 or 10 months in advance of our wedding, and we worked in the first couple of months to secure our most important vendors. She had a very comprehensive shared document that we went over in every call. She recommended some of our other vendors (who were also wonderful), she reminded us about deadlines for final details, she set up calls with our vendors at intervals where they were needed, and she made sure all payments due were on our radar in advance. On our wedding day, I couldn't even tell you all the things she took care of because she just... took care of them. She enabled everything to go off without a hitch and I couldn't be more grateful that I decided to go with Shelby.

Shelby eased any and all of our concerns when we met and even more so when she met with our venue. She knew everything that needed to happen logistically and constantly made herself available for suggestions on details We just hadn’t thought of. Because of Shelby’s patience and communication, we never felt pressured during the planning process. We also hired Shelby for our florals and she delivered on our rustic Christmas theme perfectly. Delivery on those items happened seamlessly despite needing to be at 3 different places day of. Our reception went by so smoothly because of Shelby. She, without any hesitation, added a very last minute item to our night (the money dance requested by the family) and it felt like it was planned all along. We’re so grateful to Shelby for making our day perfect. She has given us a lasting gift in our memories of the night, as well as a souvenir of rain water the night of the reception. Shelby took so much time to get to know me and my husband, my plans for our dream wedding, and how she could help in anyway to execute every detail. My heart sank but Shelby made it her mission to find a beautiful back up location and she totally delivered- it was 10000% more romantic and more intimate than our original idea. On my wedding day, I was smiling through everything. My make up artist even commented on how she had never seen a bride so relaxed and I told her it’s because I had put all trust in my wedding planner, Shelby. Every detail I had for the ceremony, pictures, cocktail hour and reception came to life. Shelby’s attention to detail was evident in how she set up each space. I was in tears when I saw it all! I got compliments weeks after the event and it was all because of her My day was absolutely perfect and I know for a fact Shelby played one of the biggest roles in it! If I haven’t already stressed how wonderful and thoughtful she is, I will then add this fun little fact. At the end of the night, Shelby surprised us with a mason jar filled with water. She explained to my husband and I that she had put it out in the rain during our reception to capture our wedding day rain for our keeping. Once again, I was in tears! I would have never thought to ask or do something so meaningful and Shelby had done that without being prompted to do so! Shelby is a dream to work with. She’s such a rare find in a wedding industry filled with people there just to do a job. She will spend the time and energy to make sure you are made special and that your day is special because it truly is YOUR day! She will make timelines, work with vendors, communicate with the wedding party, organize contracts, remake timelines, conduct a walkthrough, help you plan and re-plan, set up wedding decor, take down decor, create floral arrangements, and be there for you every step of the way; she truly does it all! I’m recommending Shelby to every bride I’ll ever know because no wedding day is complete without her!!

e Knot to see if anyone could coordinate my DIY wedding on such short notice. Shelby had me breathing easy in 1 hour. By the end of our first call I was convinced this was about to be the best money I’d ever spent. I specifically remember telling her “Well the moms want this, and my friend says that…” and she was like “What do YOU want? Ok great, then that’s what we’re doing. If anyone has questions/concerns about that, I'll field those. Everyone's going to love it!” Her energy was cool, calm, moving forward, + staying positive. That guidance and support was just what I needed. She instantly made me feel at ease and taken care of, and coordinated my wedding day like a boss. Leading up to the event, she knew the answer to every weird question, and knew exactly how to solve problems I hadn’t even considered. She was so patient and kind with me and my motley crew of set-up help. And when the day came, not only did she execute everything flawlessly, but she also whipped me up a last-minute floral arch installation that was truly the most beautiful part of the entire wedding. Everyone loved her and was blown away by how great she was. If you’re stressed to the point where you think no one could possibly jump in, catch up, and take the reins of this thing, then you need Shelby in your life ASAP.
