My daughter and her husband got married in July 2023. Working with Stephanie was a pleasure. She and her staff were amazing. We used the huge banquet room to set up for the ceremony. And then in an hour and a half they turned the same room over for the reception. While they were turning it over we had an amazing appetizer set up outside of the banquet room. Stephanie worked with us every step of the way to maintain budget and we had a vast variety of Indian and American cuisine for the appetizers and for the main buffet. The Sheraton also provided transportation to the bridal party to go to a nearby park for pictures prior to the ceremony. The baraat in the courtyard was so much fun. Stephanie was so flexible and was always there for us when we had questions, she always worked through things with us. Her patience was amazing. People still talk about their wedding from two years ago. I would highly recommend Stephanie and the folks at the Sheraton.

ation we needed to prepare our budget for the future. We stayed in touch with her through the years and right after we got engaged, we immediately contacted her again. Although we had several other venues in mind, I just couldn't imagine working with anyone else but Stephanie. She was really the MAIN reason we decided to go with Sheraton! Stephanie was always responsive, thorough, and genuine to her clients. She made us feel special since day 1 that we contacted her through Wedding Wire. She even helped us when our rehearsal lunch venue canceled on us last minute and made sure I did not have to stress about anything.
Although there will always be times when things will not go the way we expected them to on the day of the wedding, Stephanie took care of it and handled everything with ease and provided us with the best that she could. She really made our day special and memorable - and for that, we will forever be grateful.
It was really easy to work with her and her amazing team! From the tour to the food tasting (my favorite one!) to the venue walkthrough to the detailed emails to the rehearsal to checking in on the day of. I was also privileged to work with their maitre'd Claudia who was SO HELPFUL throughout the event. We had Lemon Garlic Salmon and Maple-Bacon Glazed Chicken for our plated entrees and IT WAS SO DELICIOUS!!! Even the appetizers tasted superb, especially the Mini Crab Cakes. SBN also partners with Graul's Market for the wedding cake and I must say, they really did a great job in making the cake we asked them to with the inspo/ideas we showed them. SBN recently went through some renovations so it was perfect timing for our wedding. I had the privilege of getting ready in the new Presidential Suite while my husband was given a space to get ready with his groomsmen. I also love how the new rooms are more modern, chic, and minimalist.
Overall, SBN is the perfect place for an all-inclusive wedding package - we love how everything was taken care of from the room blocks/getting ready spaces, rehearsal space, rehearsal lunch/dinner, catering/cake, bar, servers, tables/chairs, linens/napkins, etc. Definitely recommend! I look forward to booking with them again for future events. :)

ialists for the entirety of our planning. The staff was super accommodating and flexible, always prioritizing our happiness. The ONLY drawback, compared to other venues, would be that for open bar, attendees between the ages of 11 and 21 were also included in the headcount for the open bar and the alcohol tax. Other venues only charge per person of drinking age. Outside of this, Sheraton Baltimore North was top tier in our search for wedding venues, and we searched well within the DMV area. Their wedding packages, policies, perks, and catering were the best choice and were worth every dime. Our event ran smoothly and our guests are saying our wedding is the best wedding they’ve ever been to. Thank you Stephanie, Kathleen, Marcus, the bartending staff, and management for all of your support. We even misplaced some gifts between the night of the wedding and the morning after, and they went above and beyond to make sure we did not leave without them in-hand. There are countless examples of the excellent customer service we experienced. Our wedding would not have been as great if we chose to have it anywhere else.

y venue (which was 10 miles away). The day before, my best friend tried to check in (I paid for her an another couples rooms) and they said the CC on file wasn’t valid. I had changed my CC on file at least a month before and had the confirmation email. I had to call in between my rehearsal to work out something that I thought was already handled. Chanell said she would take care of it but never confirmed. Then, on the day of my wedding, I had to call back because my welcome bags were not being handed out to my guests. All in all, the Sheraton had minimal responsibilities concerning my wedding and it wound up being the most frustrating part of my day. I will never use their hotel again and I’d advise others to think twice when planning an event; you might end up with more of a headache then it’s worth.

We were also not charged the discounted rate we were promised for our guests.. and since we got a small package, they tried to take out this and that without telling me on the contract before it was signed like I wouldn't notice lol

iful person, who had to pass me to Ashi to finish my contract. Well little did I know I was getting my very own angel. She made sure that I experienced the Sheraton's Moto "what does the bride wants" so if you have a groomZila Ashhi White knows how to handle him with a soft voice and big Smile.
Ashi wore many different hats that day. I was so blessed to had have her standing by my side. She was Filming(My Prayer w/ Bridesmaids); Being my Planner; Photographer; time Keeper; Negotiator; Referee/; Lost and Found (vida) and Tailor. She even helped me get in my dress !!!!l OMG
Wait there's more.. she posed me for every picture and bustled my dress before I took the floor to dance with my dads.
Talk about "One Shop Shop" anything you need Ashli White has it all Photographer, DJ , "Up lights" (names on the wall) call her you won't be disappointed. Ashi is a professional in all areas and she gets an A Plus from me!!!!!

As for the starwood points they promised i had to keep calling and emailing not only my specialist (the fourth one due to the others quitting) but her boss and i had to email one of the big bosses. 38 days after the wedding (today) i finally got the points but its only because i basically had to harass them for an answer and some form of action. when the starwood people said it should have been in a few days after the wedding smh VERY unprofessional i would tell anyone i know to go somewhere else!

Summary of my two-page review of our 4/22/17 wedding: Booked a year in advance with Shannon Welihan who was amazing! 6 months in, she was no longer there. Rachel Coffin took over...
and was great, but then January 2017, she was gone. We did not really have a Point of Contact (POC) until about a month before the wedding. Prior to finally getting a POC, there were many difficulties contacting a representative to address our concerns. Finally, we met our new POC Gary Vaughn, who was absolutely tremendous on getting everything in order.
Day of the Wedding! Pros: 1) Our Shuttle Driver Jason who took us to Goucher College for pictures was extremely kind! 2) Our colors were Royal Blue and Yellow and the setup was absolutely beautiful! 3) The staff on hand were very pleasant and attentive. 4) The appetizers and desserts were great!
Cons: 1) On the day of the wedding, it was clear that there was a miscommunication brought on by the fact that we met with multiple planners that were not on the same page. 2) There was a mix-up on the Table Seating that was not following the table list we provided. The father of the bride and his partner did not have a seat at the table reserved for them. 3) After the food tasting, we raved about the flavors and how good everything tasted. Unfortunately, it did not reflect the end product at the wedding. We were extremely disappointed in the main courses. The fish had a frozen/powdery aftertaste and the chicken was extremely dry. 4) The cupcakes were supposed to be served by the wait staff as agreed upon but they were not. 5) We were not notified of last call to have the DJ make the announcement. Bartenders disappeared frequently and the guests had to visit the hotel bar instead if they wanted a drink. 6) Lastly, in our complimentary hotel room, the chocolate-covered strawberries had mold on them! Thankfully, we did not eat them!

The food is amazing, we still get compliments from our guests. They take care of all of the little details for you, I had NOTHING to worry about the day of the wedding. And I cannot say enough wonderful things about Rachel our wedding specialist. She jumped right in with my "visions" and helped bring them ALL to life. She is VERY good at her job. She is warm and friendly and also knows the business well so she can guide you to make smart decisions. She is the whole package for a wedding planner.

uring wedding planning than please book this vendor! Although we did have a change of 3 wedding specialists throughout the course of planning, the details were not lost in the mix. In the end we ended up working with Rachel Coffin who was down to earth and on top of the details for the day of the wedding. Included in our package was the ceremony site, linens, centerpieces, chair covers and sashes, napkins, you name it. For the most part all I had to do was communicate my vision and it was executed to a T! The ballroom was beautiful and the Sheraton staff went above and beyond to ensure that my husband and I were pleased during our big day. I also want to say that our maitre'd Veronica was my new best friend! Talk about not having to think. The day of the wedding she was at least 2 steps ahead of me and continued to check-in asking "What I needed/wanted?" even when I didn't know. All together what I appreciated most was everyone's ability to think ahead so that the day of our wedding was effortless, stressless, and we could sit back and enjoy ourselves! Highly recommend booking this vendor!

our out of town guests who needed a place to stay. Our wedding coordinator, Shannon Welihan, was amazing. She would answer our e-mails promptly, offered several face-to-face meetings, was flexible with all of our changes throughout the whole process, and paid attention to detail. We had our ceremony and reception in the Fitzgerald Ballroom and it looked gorgeous. We added on the pipe and drape of the entire room, uplights, stage, and chivari chairs that the Sheraton offered. We were able to drop off decorations, favors, etc. the day before which made our big day less stressful. We had a bridal suite for the entire morning where the girls got their hair and make up done. After the ceremony, our bridal party was able to relax and enjoy drinks/appetizers in the bridal suite before returning back downstairs for cocktail hour. The Sheraton's food was delicious- for dinner, our guests chose from the Salmon Filet, Duet Plate, and Chicken Chesapeake and we received many compliments on the food. Shannon and our Maitre D made sure everything went according to plan and really focused on the bride and groom. The service was great and our bartenders were amazing. When the night ended and we went up to our complimentary hotel room, there was champagne and wedding cake waiting for us! We were very impressed with everything at the Sheraton and would definitely recommend this venue to other couples looking for an all-in-one venue!

ful breakfast brunch in their Duncan Room the day after the wedding! They are the only hotel immediately outside of the city and in the surrounding area which offered us the option to reserve a larger block of rooms (more than 25)without having to pay a penalty for those rooms which did not get reserved. They also did an excellent job at working with our wedding planner to set up an excellent online reservations system. The hotel has a large Presidential Suite which was perfect for pre-wedding preparations such as the bridal party hair/make-up arrangements as well as being a perfect place for the bride and groom to return to after the wedding reception! The Duncan Room, in the hotel, is a very nice event room in which we had a beautiful and relaxing breakfast buffet. From preparation stage to the actual event, the Baltimore Sheraton North is a perfect hotel venue for reserving a block of rooms for a wedding and hosting a breakfast brunch the next morning!

She also had a really nice monthly payment plan that relieved of us of having to pay a large sum at any one time. We really appreciated that the venue was all-inclusive, and that all we had to do was drop off decorations the day before and everything was set up for us when the guests arrived. The Sheraton’s food was incredible - we taste tested many delicious options and were so impressed that they tasted every bit as good, if not better on our wedding day! We loved the affordability of the menu and how the chef worked with us on what dishes we wanted and some of the guests dietary restrictions, at no extra cost. The Warfield Ballroom looked gorgeous when we arrived and everyone complimented us on the great service. Shannon did a great job of making sure everything went according to plan. Our complimentary room on our wedding night was the icing on the cake - we really enjoyed our stay and the complimentary breakfast the next morning. We were so impressed with everything the Sheraton did to make our day special and would definitely recommend them!

I was not pleased with our Maître D for the reception. I really excepted that she would pay more attention to detail and to make sure things went more smoothly. She basically just stood against the wall all evening. Everyone else was wonderful. All of our guests really enjoyed the food. The only other complaint is with the person that set up our room blocks. She did not have paperwork for us when promised and did not return calls in a reasonable time. Overall I would really recommend Sheraton Baltimore North for your wedding reception.

ncluded etc...The day of our reception, the room wasn't set up when it was supposed to be. Our reception started later than it should have. The food we tasted at the tasting was not the same food we were served. We included beverages in our package and our guests a long with my husband was asked to pay for theirs. After the reception they misplaced items we provided them. We do not feel it was worth the amount we paid for it.

to several of my guest complain and send it back as well. Also, there was a lot of my wedding cake discarded, instead of them asking me if I wanted it, it was thrown away. Overall, my wedding coordinator for Sheraton, Nicole, who is no longer there was the best! During the last legs of my planning, she transferred to another hotel :-( I know if she was there that would never have happened. Word to the wise make sure you and the hotel wedding coordinator click before you go any further.

ails that were sent, she always responded in responsible amount of time. My husband and I did a lot of DIY projects, so when we saw all of them at the wedding, Robyn and the staff did an excellent job with putting them all where we wanted and few in even better spots then we could imagined. The food was excellent as well. The food was exactly the way it was when we had the food tasting a few months before. The location is great for guests that are from out of town. There is so much to do that if your wedding is later in the afternoon or evening your guests will have things to do. Our families were very impressed with everything especially Robyn and the staff at the hotel. My husband and I did not have to worry about anything. Everything went way better than we could have imagined. So for any couple that is on here and wants to know: THIS IS THE PLACE TO BE!!!!

rough i had booked the room first.
-i dealt with 3 different wedding coordinators cause they kept getting other jobs, so each time i had to meet & explain where i left off with the last one.
-around 2 weeks after we were married i got a call stating i had owed $50 for food that i had apparently ordered. however you cannot have an event at the Sheraton without paying in full upfront.
-the day after my wedding i went to pick up what was left of my wedding cake & they were not able to find it.
-when we went back to the ceremony room to take pictures we found the employees taking everything down & cleaning up even though we told them we wanted to take pictures afterward.
i would think twice before booking your wedding here

I had the best experience at The Sheraton Baltimore North Hotel. Robyn was my wedding coordinator and she was fantastic...she was there to answer any questions i had..and walked me...
and my now husband through everything. We got married in The Lindsay Ballroom on the second floor...i had about 125 guests...the set up was beautifully done. I have to say everyone always says that is something goes wrong just go with it...i can absolutely say without a doubt that nothing went wrong...the receptions was in The Warfield ballroom and was so beautiful...The food was amazing just as i remember from the tasting, everyone was impressed...it was all hot and fresh. They really pay attention to detail and helped make my dream come true...Our budget was 15,000 total...including all vendors, dress and tux...there prices are totally reasonable and they go above and beyond...you really get your moneys worth. I highly recommend The Sheraton Baltimore North Hotel as a wedding venue...amazing...simply amazing!

them double booking me and I had to change MY date (after I had already bought my "save the dates") then it seemed like I got asked the same question over and over like they never one were personable enough to write anything down. I would send email after email, call after call and took weeks to get a responce when just trying to get one question answered. My parents and grooms parents were supposed to get comped rooms but on the day of the wedding no such reservations were found!! It was one thing after another but I will say that in the end everything turned out PERFECT and I couldnt have asked for a better day!

The Sheraton put nearly everything for our reception together, including tables, linens, dishes, decorations, and even the cake! We didn't have to worry about a single thing. The day of, our Maitre-D, Chris, was always around and making sure everything was going smoothly, which it always was! People danced the night away and then safely took the elevators to their rooms upstairs!
The Sheraton was very reasonably priced and, in our opinion, a nicer space than the more expensive, downtown location. We would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants a stress-free day!

ooked at. We feel in love! The ballroom is beautiful! The packages are great too! You really get a lot for your money here. We had a change in our wedding specialist during the process. And we originally were not pleased. We had a few ups and downs with the specialist. We felt unimportant to him. However, two weeks prior to the BIG day we had one last meeting. On this meeting we met our WONDERFUL MatreD named Nicole. She would be the person at our reception running the show. And seriously, this woman is fantastic at her job!!!! Nicole made our wedding day perfect! The venue looked amazing! Everything from the centerpieces, lines, cake, food, bar and timeline of the event was perfection!! We thank her soooo much! Friends and family had a BLAST here! There was a spacious cocktail hour, a beautiful ballroom, easy access to an outside patio, and a bar & lounge located inside the venue that was perfect for the after party. If you're engaged, go take a look at this place and ask to meet Nicole! You won't regret it!

nsultant kept changing and we were never told about it until I called or emailed with a question. On the day of the wedding, before the ceremony, things were unorganized and did not have things ready when they needed to be. We found ourselves having to find people when we needed them. Once the wedding started everything ran smoothly and was beautiful. The food was great and we did not go over budget. I would recommend making sure everything is in writing (which we did and therefore had a bases to complain). Good venue if looking to stay with in budget and put work into organizing your day.

it's not just an accommodating staff that you need when it comes to choosing your location, you also need a knowledgeable one. in this sheraton site, they indeed are! they're going...
to ask you all the details because they're used to it. plus, there's a whole lot parking for your guests, for free! it's also near the mall so if your guests wouldn't have a hard time to look for a gift because there's actually a walkway from the hotel to the mall! isn't that great!? =)

roblems getting the discounted rate, they would only reserve specific rooms and when they were booked they wouldn't add more, the discounted rates expired 4 weeks before the date and they did not inform us.
I had 4 different coordinators- 1 left after having a baby, 1 left the company and didn't inform me, 1 pawned me off and stopped returning my calls, and the final one was not available at all! The matre' d the night of the wedding was helpful. I am a detailed person, so I wrote out everything for them. I understood that everything would not be perfect but there were SOOOO many details that were all wrong. The coordinator that was handling my wedding the day of, was not available at all, even after giving us her cell phone number.
The expectations the hotel had of us in the morning while getting ready and during the cocktail hour were very unclear and frustrating. The food was delicious when we went for our tasting but was not very good at all the night of the wedding. The vendors were told they did not get a meal, there was not enough seating during cocktail hour for our older guests even after we requested it.
At the end of the night, service workers did not collect the things I had brought, instead I had to fish things out of the trash piles. The items that were packed up were very unorganized and we could not even find our anniversary tier to our cake! I had asked the hotel in advance if some of our friends could come to our honeymoon suite after the reception, we were told yes that our room would be a little secluded from other rooms, then management came up 4 times saying we were too loud.
To sum up, the food the night of the event was not good... and the service we received during our planning period and the night of the wedding was horrible. However, this place was the cheapest we could find for the "classy" look we were going for. But, I do not reccommend this place to anyone.

The hotel was selected for a number of reasons, but we had no idea at the time of our initial booking of the immense talent and expertise of the staff. These individuals, along with everyone else connected with the hotel worked tirelessly to assure every detail was as we had discussed. We would not hesitate for a moment to host future events with the Shearaton. Thank you, thank you, thank you to everyone. Thanks to you, we all have exceptional memories of a wonderful, heartwarming evening.

ith the Banquet Manager. The Banquet manager was very helpful and had us all very excited about having the reception at this venue. We were concerned about the construction going on at the hotel but we were assured that it would be done well before our wedding. The prices were right and we booked. A few months passed and a wedding coordinator was hired she was wonderful. She took the time to explain and LISTEN to everything that we wanted. She took detailed notes and assured us that everything would run smoothly. She was professional and followed up with us the same day with everything we asked her that she had to get back us on. Then it all went down hill... The wedding coordinator had to leave for personal reasons even though we were told she quit the new wedding coordinators were the snobbiest fakest unrespectful people that I had met in the wedding business. We met with them and explained everything again they rushed us through the meeting and left me with a horrible feeling. I had to reach back out to them to get the information in writing. They constantly forgot to update the payments that we made. With only two months to go it was too late to book another reception site. We had put a hold on 25 rooms for the night of our wedding and then come to find out they only booked us for 10 rooms since there was a golf tournament that same weekend. I had to call to get that answer as no one called me to let me know. The good thing no one new about all the things that were messed up with the reception... There was still construction going on the buffet tables were supposed to be outside of the room in a hallway but they were in the room ( I was told during the reception that it was my fault for not specifying-- even though I told EVERYONE I met with) our reception went until 12:30 yet the linens were all taken off the tables by 11:45 the staff yelled at my DJ for not being on schedule ( I specifically asked the DJ to be in charge of getting everything done not the hotel--which I specified to them) we had additional desserts for $8.00/ per person and they were a joke we were supposed to have additional bartenders at the hotel bar afterwards (only 1 was there) and my lovely wedding coordinators were no where to be found at 12:31.

The staff at the Baltimore Sheraton North really turned out great.;Do not let the coordinators at the Baltimore Sheraton North get you down. I did not have a very good experience with planning at the Sheraton, and was on the verge of backing out, time kept me in. The day of the wedding was a totally different story, the event staff was great and truely made up for the coordinators.
