Jessica is incredibly organized and and detailed, we hired her as a day of coordinator, but she was really a "month-of" coordinator. She coordinated with all of our vendors and she made sure everything went smoothly on our wedding day.
Her experience is evident from the various planning spreadsheets she uses. She had timelines mapped out (day of the wedding and the day before).
If anyone asked me, I would highly recommend Jessica and Shine Event Productions for their wedding.
The best decision I made for my wedding was hiring Jessica as my wedding planner. Everything came together so perfectly and Jessica was so professional, helpful, and organized. She gave me a lot of useful ideas and helped me navigate tricky wedding situations to find a good solution for everything!
Jessica helped us with every stage of wedding planning, with a comprehensive road map that directed our planning activities on a realistic timeline. The result was a steady pace of planning, help finding vendors, check-ins whenever we had questions, vendor and venue coordination on the day of the wedding, and a full minute by minute breakdown of events at the wedding. This all resulted in a beautiful ceremony and a smash hit of a reception.
One of the best choices we made for our wedding was hiring Jessica. She cleared her schedule to visit the venue with me while my family was in town, stayed meticulously on top of all details and reminded me of things as I needed to do them, and even helped me find my florist! She was so organized with planning the day, nothing is missed! Even through planning weddings in a pandemic, she is always positive, ready to bounce ideas off, and makes a dream day happen. I cannot recommend her enough!

I'm indecisive, and she struck just the right balance between supporting my desire to explore lots of options, and encouraging me to make decisions that would save me time and effort later. I felt very confident having Jessica as my day-of coordinator to help make sure my wedding day was a success. From the start I knew she would do what was needed to help me coordinate some details in advance vs. just show up the day of which is how some other coordinators seemed to be. Jessica has a lot of offerings for more extensive wedding planning, but if you plan to do most of the planning yourself like me and want someone on the day of to know your plan so you can relax, she will be a perfect fit! She sent me a planning checklist month by month and met with me a few times to talk about different scenarios, including the week of when we had an unexpected rainstorm and needed to make plans to bring our outdoor ceremony inside. She always took the time that was needed to finalize the details until I felt comfortable. She adapted my schedule into a more detailed schedule taking into account every detail and every person who needed to be included. She was able to herd cats (my very loud and excited family) and get them to follow orders! Everything on the wedding day went as planned, even to my surprise! Because of the rain, there were some minor issues (like the ceiling in the hallway leaking) and Jessica worked with the venue to detour guests from the space without me even knowing until after the wedding. Most importantly she is a lovely person and so easy to work with, and I always looked forward to our calls. I highly recommend her!
There aren't enough words to express our gratitude for Jessica. We had been feeling fairly stressed leading up to the wedding as we had a lot of moving pieces. However, as soon as Jessica took over, we were able to let everything go and just enjoy our wedding experience. I have no idea if or what went wrong on our wedding day because Jessica was on top of everything and handled everything like the pro she is. We had a ton of different vendors and had created a good amount of the decorations ourselves so there were a lot of moments that could have gone wrong. I also know our families in particular had some specific requests throughout the night. However, during the day of the wedding, I (nor my husband) dealt with any of the headache or issues that came up. We had the most beautiful day and it was 100% thanks to Jessica.
On top of it all, Jessica is one of the kindest human beings we have ever met - she is incredibly calm and positive, always flexible, and has the best we will get it done attitude. Our original wedding day was supposed to be in April 2021 (which had to be cancelled 3 weeks before the date). Even though Jessica had gone through the entire run through with us and had been ready to go, she kindly adjusted everything and gave us such amazing support as we tried to reschedule our wedding three times over the next 1.5 years. Throughout the entire process, we always felt like Jessica was on our side and was pushing for what was best for us. And even on the days when I was frankly over the planning due to the constant rescheduling, Jessica brought such joy and energy to our conversations, that I got excited all over again. Jessica is a true gem in the wedding industry - we truly could not recommend her enough!
I honestly couldn't say anything better about Jessica and Shine Event Productions. We held our wedding amidst all of the COVID craziness and Jessica took care of every last detail! We didn't have to lift a finger! She was very attentive and very organized. Jessica made the day perfect for us!!!! Jessica is amazing and I HIGHLY recommend Shine Events Productions!!!! Jessica made sure our special day came out to be the magical event we hoped to create. Many of our guests said it was the most beautiful wedding they had ever attended. Jessica is sweet, professional, and helped us make the right decisions in a stress free environment. She knew the importance of small touches that I didn't even think of myself, such as decorating the table where we had our first communion and the signing of our marriage certificate since it was all photographed and videoed. We are so grateful for her expertise and guidance, and just her general support and kindness during such a special time in our lives. Me and my husband are truly grateful and thankful for her!

As organized as we were, we probably would not have been able to relax or enjoy our wedding if not for our day-of coordinator. Jessica was the perfect point person, making sure things ran smoothly and efficiently, always with a smile on her face. We never had to check the time or think about the schedule of events because she made sure things moved along and stayed on track; she always made sure we had what we needed--and a drink in our hand at all times, and if anything went wrong (e.g. the aisle runner wouldn't stay in place, we ran out of disposable cups at the reception, etc.), she made last-minute decisions for us so that we didn't have to worry about any of it!
If you are on the fence about hiring a wedding planner, we recommend at least talking with Jessica—she has a lot of experience and provided us with a lot of good options.
My experience working with Shine Event Productions was really wonderful! Jessica was very attentive to all my needs and took care of every detail and so that I could just relax and enjoy my big day! Everything looked classic, elegant and beautiful and all within budget. She really went above and beyond to make sure that I was happy with everything. I am so grateful to her for making my dream wedding a reality!
Trusting Jessica to plan my wedding was the BEST decision I made (aside from saying "YES" to my amazing hubby, of course! lol)!!! I wanted to have a glamorous and personal DIY wedding but quickly realized that there were so many details that I just couldn't juggle. Jessica stepped right in and offered suggestions, guidance, managed my vendors, and most of all, brought a comforting peace that allowed me to RELAX and enjoy planning my wedding! :-) Everything was absolutely beautiful and my friends and family couldn't stop talking about how wonderful everything was. Every time I turned around, Jessica was there with a smile (even at the end of the long night, she was smiling!). If there were any hiccups, I never knew about them - I was too busy enjoying everything (which is exactly what I wanted to do).

We hired Jessica with Shine Event Productions to be our Month-of-Coordinator for our wedding at the Brazil Room in Berkeley two years ago. I didn't realize that when we found Jessica that we found a Fairy God Mother, Super Woman, and the BEST Wedding Coordinator in the entire Bay Area!
I quickly learned of Jessica's capabilities when we first met with her three months before our wedding. Not only did she have the most calm and professional demeanor, you felt that you were meeting with an old friend rather than sitting in on a business meeting. I respected and loved her story - CAL educated and smart corporate employee leaves it all to pursue her dreams in creative event productions! Love! We decided to hire her for her month-of-coordination package.
Leading up to the wedding she sent multiple checklists that helped us organize our DIY wedding. As time got closer, she checked in and made sure that we were okay, and we met personally twice more to discuss all the details. Additionally, she contacted all the vendors on my behalf and made sure I was not stressed out about anything. Furthermore, she ran our rehearsal the day before the wedding, and even stayed as our guest for our Thai Ceremony afterwards. This meant a lot to us because she was able to connect with my friends and family before the wedding, and they grew to trust and be comfortable with her on our wedding!
On the day of the wedding, everything went perfectly! Everyone said I was the least "Bridezilla" and not stressed at all during the wedding. Much of this had to do with Jessica, who executed the vision of my DIY decorations perfectly. I am a control freak, had a gazillion details, and really picky with how it would all turn out. However, I was NOT worried at all because I knew my vision was in good hands. Additionally, she coordinated with our caterer, DJ, and other vendors. She made sure everyone stuck to the tight timeline. Her positive and stress-free attitude kept everyone in the bridal party calm, and I was so comforted to know that my special day was in such good hands!
I cannot recommend Jessica enough for her event services for a wedding or any other special event! Jessica is mature, talented, calming, and has the most infectious smile that will radiate your wedding day! Check out her services on her website and meet with her! You will not be disappointed!
I hired Jessica for day of coordination for our wedding on Treasure Island in SF, and was very pleased with her work. Not only was she organized and professional, she was super nice, enthusiastic, and reassuring. Great assets for a stressed out bride!
In advance of the event, Jessica helped me by providing vendor recommendations, creating our event day timeline, and contacting vendors the week of the event to make sure everything was in order.
On the day of, Jessica arrived well in advance of the wedding to coordinate vendor set-up as well as put up all the décor. During the event, she made sure everything ran smoothly, kept track of the time to make sure things were going along as planned, and made sure I and the groom were bothered the minimum amount possible. Post-event, she did all the cleanup of the décor. Basically, she took care of all the things we didn't want to, so that my now-husband and I were able to enjoy our wedding ceremony and reception without having to worry about the details on the day of.
Last but not least, I want to mention that Jessica's rates are quite reasonable! Highly recommended!
