Shore Thing Event Services

We were planning from across the country, and she made the process so much easier. She knows so many vendors, we would tell her our budget and what we were looking for style wise and she gave us her recommendations. Every vendor in the area knows her and loves working with her. We found our DJ, florist, and cake vendors through her. Plus she does rentals and handled the signage for us! She even made sure to match the font on the signs to font I used on the dinner menus I made, such attention to detail! (All at very reasonable pricing). On the day of, she kept things organized and running in the background so we could enjoy the day and be present. I can't recommend her enough for your wedding planning needs.

ave been a mess without her! Crystal knows her stuff and will help you throughout the entire wedding planning process with kindness and ease. We also did our rentals with Crystal, and everything turned out beautifully. She even constructed our "floral bud vase" seating chart a few weeks before the wedding because we realized we weren't up to the task, and she and her team did an amazing job.

ould not have happened without the help of Shore Thing event services. We had no idea the amount of work it takes but Crystal always had it under control and ready to accomplish every task and move to the next. I will really miss talking to Crystal every week I’ll just throw another party now or something!

We planned a wedding down the shore living two hours away and she made it feel so simple and easy. The week of our wedding we had to rearrange tables last minute, I mentioned it one time and the next day she had a multiple options to fix it. Also our officiant ended up getting sick and within a few hours she was able to secure us a new one and take one less stress off our hands. We were so happy to have her there throughout the whole process and the day of our wedding.

grateful for her patience and time as I went through the numerous decisions when it came to wedding planning. I really can’t thank her enough for going above and beyond! I also got to know Jess really well who was always a phone call or text away which meant a lot as sometimes I would come up with late night ideas or just needed to vent and she was always there. Jenn was really helpful when it came to working with the vendors! All in all, you need Crystal and her team because they can help make your dream wedding a reality… Trust me!!

rations were beautiful! They were so helpful with planning and working with our last minute plans!

ntire wedding! The owner, Crystal, knew exactly when to take the lead to make things happen and when/how to get me involved in the things she knew were truly important. I’d be lying if I said she didn’t plan my entire wedding almost from scratch. We’d give an idea…and she would just… make it happen! It was actually miraculous. We had about an 80-person wedding with loved ones from all over the world fly in in the midst of a pandemic, and Crystal pulled off the most incredible night of our lives without breaking a sweat (while pregnant!). 9 months after our wedding, we are still getting comments like “best wedding we’ve ever been to…the most incredible energy…attention to detail…who was that planner…does she do meeting events.” Just to give you an idea of the level of professionalism I’m talking-I did not see my flowers, seating chart, table arrangements, etc. prior to walking down the aisle AND it poured 5 minutes after my ceremony. In the midst of it all, there was Crystal and her team with a huge smile and an efficient plan every step of the way. Thank you for making the best day of our lives magical, natural, pure perfection and somehow…everything I’ve always dreamed of, but never knew I wanted! I wouldn’t just trust this team with a wedding, but an event of any size or caliber. THANK YOU! We love you! Brides, this rockstar owner and company will not let you down!

to plan everything/stay organized without Crystal. She constantly kept in touch with us and our vendors (regardless of the time difference), which made everything so much less stressful. Not to mention, we were also a Covid couple (meant to have our wedding in August 2020 but postponed to August 2021) and Crystal helped us navigated the entire postponement process. Crystal helped us with the entire planning process (except venue selection, we did that on our own) and I am so glad we used her services for the entire process (and would recommend her to any couple, especially those planning at a distance like us). In particular, she was so helpful on the wedding day/days leading up to the wedding. I (the bride) actually ended up feeling a bit sick in the middle of our reception (a mix of not eating enough all day and being overwhelmed with emotions). Crystal literally saved the day: she got me nausea medicine immediately, re-arranged the running order with the band so I could do my father/daughter dance a little later, and even loosened my dress/bustled it up with safety pins so I could breathe better. Honestly, without her there I probably would not have made it to the end of my own wedding reception, but luckily she fixed everything and I was able to re-join the party without any guests even noticing there was an issue.

we needed before we could even think of it, and how to tweak what we wanted when we thought we had figured something out without her. Over the last 2 1/2 years of wedding planning (yes 2 1/2 years because of COVID!!!) my mantra became Crystal is always right, because, simply put, she always is. From the first moment we met Crystal, we knew that we could not do this wedding without her, and she was worth every penny that we spent on her services. Crystal already had our wedding details and plans well in hand before the pandemic hit, and then it did, and the magic that she worked to move our wedding, while keeping nearly all of our vendors at no extra cost, was nothing short of extraordinary. She worked so closely with us for so long that she became more than a wedding planner; she is truly a friend. I think that is a testament to who she is and why she does such good work; Crystal truly cares. So whether you're a local couple or an out of state one, like we are, do yourself a favor and hire Crystal!

g married in Cape May (or probably anywhere), having Crystal on your team is essential... she knows EVERYONE and EVERYTHING. Everywhere I went, when I mentioned that Crystal was my planner everyone's immediate response was always "Oh, Crystal--she's the best!" After planning a successful wedding with her, I can honestly say I agree wholeheartedly! It was NOT an easy year as we had booked our date prior to the pandemic. My venue was NOT easy to work with or get in touch with, and they were most definitely not reasonable with all of the uncertainty of planning a wedding during COVID. I could not have navigated it without Crystal and her team. Crystal is a saint, she is extremely busy, but when my mom or I needed to vent about about something, you'd never know it. She was so patient with us, ALWAYS took the time to listen to us or answer our millions of questions. Her suggestions/recommendations were spot on. She is very organized and kept me on track. I got to the week of the wedding and kept thinking I was missing something.... I wasn't. I just had it all done earlier than I'd thought. When I met up with/talked on the phone with her, it always felt like I was meeting up with a friend. I really enjoyed her company/conversation which made a really stressful time a little bit less stressful. When problems arose, she worked hard to fix them as fast as possible. The wedding day was the most amazing day of our lives. Somehow everything fell into place and I had the wedding of my dreams despite COVID. Some of it may have been divine intervention... she can't control the weather or the CDC, but most of it was because of Crystal. So thank you. I could obviously go on for hours about Crystal and Shore Thing Event Services.... I won't. Book her, you won't be disappointed.

ed venue preparations and processes seamlessly to meet the vision and provide beautifully for everyone. She has fostered professional relationships with city officials where permits are required and a wide variety of vendors that then allow for a seemingly effortless presentation. The comments are still coming as to the beauty, charm, elegance and unique aesthetic of our daughter's wedding. Could not have done it without Crystal and her tireless behind-the-scenes work ethic!

zing to work with from day one. She was so familiar with our reception venue and gave us such a cozy feeling, she was like our wedding planning mom. Through all the challenges and setbacks of the past year, we knew that everything would be okay because we had Crystal on our team. She went above and beyond throughout our wedding planning process and especially this past year to help us adapt and re-plan our wedding. Our wedding finally happened on 3/27/21 and went off without a hitch thanks to Crystal. She kept us calm the weeks leading up to the wedding and took care of so many minor setbacks along the way, most of them without us even noticing. Our wedding required a lot of set up since we DIY-ed most of our decor, and Crystal made sure that our vision came to life. Everything turned out even better than we could have imagined! If you are planning a wedding, do yourself a favor and hire Crystal to go on the journey with you! We can't imagine our wedding planning journey without her and her team and know that our wedding wouldn't have been nearly as wonderful without her guidance and support. Thank you Crystal for truly caring so much about your clients and for making our wedding the most magical day of our lives, you are the best and any bride would be lucky to work with you!

the day of the wedding if I wanted to enjoy it at all. ESPECIALLY in the situation with COVID-19, Crystal mae everything so easy and simple, and has an affinity for spreadsheets just like me. She contacted neighbors, vendors, decorated using her rental services BEAUTIFULLY! She was professional, organized, and so stinking sweet. She really did make the day enjoyable and stress-free, and I don't know what I would have done without hiring her.

speaking with friends we decided to find one. From our very first conversation I was sold. Crystal is an actual angel sent from heaven and we could not have gotten through the wedding planning or event without her. Her prices are extremely reasonable and I can honestly say it was the best money we spent throughout the whole process. She is organized and on top of everything but more than anything else, Crystal is a wonderful person. She was such a pleasure to work with and I really could not say enough good things about her, professionally and personally! Seriously, hire her and you will not regret it!

lled or texted at all hours of the day and night with questions or concerns, she answered and made things happen. She handled all of our Covid issues and restrictions with ease and grace. She has an abundance of connections throughout the Cape May area. We used many local vendors through Crystal because of this, and they were all just as amazing as her! Every time I would tell someone in Cape May I was using Crystal as my planner, they would rave about how efficient and helpful she is. If you are thinking about getting a planner, I would recommend Crystal a million times. She is truly fabulous!! :)

iately started looking into wedding planners who could help us with all the changes that needed to be made. From the moment we started working together, Crystal took us from a deer in the headlights feeling to a sense of ease and excitement as we started to entirely replan our wedding! She was so organized and diligent- we should have hired her from the beginning because there were so many things I never thought of that she brought to our attention! Being that Crystal is from Cape May she has a TON of knowledge about the area as well as other vendors. She made our wedding even better than it would have been before we moved it! Anything I said I wanted and she made it happen- No questions asked. Throughout our planning, and up until the day of the wedding, we had big changes happening. Crystal took care of EVERYTHING without me evening knowing so that I could be stress free and enjoy our wedding day. She and her team worked their butts off all day to make sure everything was as it should be. Without them, we would not have had the enjoyable day we had, we wouldn’t of even had our wedding. It is not an understatement that we call her our angel. Crystal went above and beyond to make sure our day was exactly how we wanted it. She is a truly amazing and talented wedding planner. She has become a life long friend. Whenever we go to visit our favorite place we now will also get to visit our favorite friend. I highly recommend Shore Thing Event Services to any couple. And if you don’t think you need a wedding planner, you do!

cific vision and everything turned out better than I could have imagined! The decor was beautiful, she was able to set up our camera to video the entire ceremony and even managed to somehow heat up our mini hot dogs in between ceremony and happy hour (my very last minute request!) she was such a joy to work with and I’d definitely recommend. My friends and family have raved about how perfect everything was.

tal. We were originally supposed to have our wedding in August but due to COVID we had to reschedule for October and Crystal was very understanding. And helped us get through our stressful times. I would highly recommend Shore Thing Event Services for anyone getting married in Cape May. She is such a sweet and caring lady, and is dedicated to here job and her customers. Thank you so much Crystal for everything you did!

nty and rapidly changing restrictions due to COVID this summer. Despite all of the challenges, Crystal worked endlessly to make sure we still had the wedding of our dreams. We went from switching venues, to deciding to postpone, to ultimately changing our plans entirely all in a matter of days, less than one month from our date. I mean it from the bottom of my heart that we could not have pulled off a wedding, especially one as perfect for us, this year without Crystal. She truly went above and beyond her role as our coordinator and I cannot recommend her enough!!! Leah, Crystal's assistant, was also incredible the day of with setting up all of the tables/chairs/decor, coordinating with our vendors, and keeping us on track for our timeline. I didn't have to lift a finger or worry about a single thing, so I was able to just relax and enjoy myself on our special day.

rom setting up the event and ceremony areas to making sure I had a drink in my hand, she took care of every detail. She even went and got a heater when the weather started to get chilly. Her rental offerings were beautiful; we loved the floating candles, table linens, farmhouse chairs, and bulb lights. Everything looked just how I wanted. I cannot recommend her enough.

rked an event there and Crystal was so helpful, fully understanding the client's vision and accommodating me as a fellow vendor to meet in advance at the property and walk the various sites to discuss logistics in detail. Her communication was impeccable and her obvious love for what she does was evident. I wish every wedding planner was as helpful and diligent in their work. I sincerely look forward to working together again in the future if any couples are considering a planner, Crystal and her team at Shore Thing Event Services come highly recommended based on my experience!

ork cut out for me. To say Crystal was a godsend is no understatement. Her knowledge, connections, organization, and an eye for design was absolutely clutch in our wedding. We hired her for day-of coordinator, but she was integral in easing my nerves in the weeks leading up to the wedding. I don’t know if we would have been able to pull off our wedding production without her killer knowledge. I would highly recommend Shore Thing Event Services for anyone getting married in the Cape May region.

Throughout our time working with STES, Crystal went from being a reliable vendor to an extension of our wedding party & family. She knew exactly what to do and who to contact to get ANY job - big or small - completed. When we ran into issues with other vendors, she was there to save the day! I cannot express how much of a weight was lifted off our shoulders, especially the week-of our wedding, so that all we had to focus on was enjoying time with our family and friends. Even more, for those small details that you might forget about (in our case, table numbers) STES has a huge inventory of wedding day rentals to pull from, so you really are covered, no matter what! We actually rented several items from STES and I'm so glad we did, as we weren't left with trying to sell signs and irrelevant wedding décor on Facebook marketplace afterward like so many of our friends. I cannot say enough good things about Crystal and STES, and I would absolutely recommend her to anybody planning a wedding in the Cape May area and beyond!

list. Crystal came to us last minute as we were stressing about certain things and she went above and beyond to take care of all of our worries and more. Frequent check-ins, decorating, getting everyone into proper placements, meeting vendors with us, you name it, she did it. Thank you Crystal for being a vital part of our special day!!

ble, it’s incredible when you hire someone who genuinely does something because they love it. Her kind heart and organized brain made it a breeze to “plan our wedding” because I feel like Crystal did it all! Her style of decor was exactly what we were looking for and made is so easy to rent from her look book instead of buying a bunch of things we would use once. Looking for vendors? Have no fear, because she has multiple options, in each category for you to choose from! And let me tell you you won’t be disappointed. A++++++ service! If your thinking twice about hiring her, think again because planning our wedding was the most UNstressful, enjoyable journey and we can thank Crystal for that!

multiple people involved in the wedding let me know how great it was to work with Crystal and Lindsay. Would highly recommend!

emony and she was perfect! She had everything handled. If anything went wrong, we have no clue. The venue looked amazing. They added some touches to our decor that really accented what we wanted. We honestly couldn’t have done it without them!

little question and concern anything at all that came to my mind Crystal was able to put me at ease instantly. Crystal was at reach anytime I needed her whether it was in the morning or night! I would absolutely 100% recommend sure thing event services to anyone who is getting married in their jurisdiction! Thank you so so so much for making my wedding such a breeze and taking care of any issues that popped up even the small ones that I’m sure you didn’t tell me about! I can truly say I made a friend when hiring you as my wedding planner Crystal! We hope you and your two boys have a wonderful life we can’t wait to see you next time we’re in town visiting in Cape May! Thank you again for making our wedding perfect!

ric Cold Spring Village was perfect in every way. I honestly can't thank her enough. I would highly recommend Shore Thing Event Services to anyone getting married in the Cape May area!

as a day of planner and helped us every step of the way with the venue, church, vendor coordination, decor and most importantly ongoing moral support! She helped us find local vendors and acted as a sounding board for all our ongoing questions which we are so so grateful for. Another huge benefit was our monthly calls where Crystal ensured we were on pace and had everything organized far enough in advance. This was such a great help, especially as we were not local to the area, and made the last few weeks leading up to the wedding quite calm and enjoyable! We also used a lot of Crystals decor which was absolutely beautiful and made the venue really come together - it also made things very easy for us, which was a big bonus. On the day of the wedding she and Stephanie made sure everything went smoothly and there wasn’t a bump in the road. It was a lot of planning but we enjoyed every part of it due to Crystal’s ongoing support, guidance, attention to detail, punctuality and great energy! We would highly highly recommend working with Crystal and Shore Thing Services! Thank you Crystal for helping make it the best day of our lives!

ch. She planned the most amazing day we will never forget From a carriage ride, candles on the beach to a very romantic dinner. Thank you for making this a day we will never forget a “Hallmark” moment ❤️We highly recommend Crystal’s service for your special occasion

d was able to help out with any issues with other vendors. We received so many compliments on the entire day.

Crystals expertise and connections in Cape May County!!!!!! Crystal is professional, personable, reliable, and extremely creative! Shore Thing Event Services was the best decision for us to make to ensure that every detail of our wedding was perfect and functional. Shannon from STES assisted us as well for day of coordination. She made sure my husband and I were comfortable and happy the entire day. Shannon was a pleasure to work with and would highly recommend her. STES will help make your special day everything you’ve ever imagined it to be and more.

s and helping her get from the cocktail hour to the reception. At one point during the evening we were running low on champagne and Crystal made a quick trip to get more for us. Crystal coordinate with all the vendors to make sure people got where they needed to go so everything ran smoothly. Thank you so much Shore Thing Event Services especially Crystal and Stephanie for making our day so wonderful.

f my vision flawlessly. We tasked her with the next-to-impossible mission of getting a baby grand piano onto the beach for my daughter to play while I walked down the aisle, and she did not stop until we had one. There was not a single detail overlooked and our day was perfect! Stephanie, Crystal’s Assistant, made sure we had everything we could possibly need during the reception in between guarding the cake table from kids and dancing with a restless flower girl when she needed distracting. I could not recommend SES more!

n friends for years and has such great visions to help create your dream wedding. They have true talent and give great input to help create the perfect day. Crystal & Shannon made the planning not be stressful due to their organization, attentiveness and creative ideas. They go above and beyond to make the day run smoothly and we can't thank them enough for making our dream wedding come true!!!

with a friend. I would not hesitate to recommend her company and would definitely use her services again. Our wedding day was the fantastic day it was in big part because of Shore Thing Event Services.

I've been involved in. I have four daughters and wish I hired Shore Thing Event Services for the other three weddings! Everything was beautiful and handled professionally. I feel like Crystal went above and beyond in her role to be sure everything was perfect for my baby's special day. There were many "little" things I notices that we never even spoke of which made the venue even more beautiful. She worked well with the caterer, photographer and DJ who all commented on how smoothly everything ran. If I had another event to host, Shore Thing Event Services would certainly be my first phone call.

at the church when we arrived while Crystal and her crew helped set up the venue for the reception. Even before I could tell one of them I needed some water, they already had it for me. They were on top of EVERYTHING! The best in the business!
