One of the most detail oriented, hard working, organized professionals I’ve ever worked with. As an annoyingly busy career woman myself, I needed a planner to essentially plan my entire wedding! The owner, Crystal, knew exactly when to take the lead to make things happen and when/how to get me involved in the things she knew were truly important. I’d be lying if I said she didn’t plan my entire wedding almost from scratch. We’d give an idea…and she would just… make it happen! It was actually miraculous. We had about an 80-person wedding with loved ones from all over the world fly in in the midst of a pandemic, and Crystal pulled off the most incredible night of our lives without breaking a sweat (while pregnant!). 9 months after our wedding, we are still getting comments like “best wedding we’ve ever been to…the most incredible energy…attention to detail…who was that planner…does she do meeting events.” Just to give you an idea of the level of professionalism I’m talking-I did not see my flowers, seating chart, table arrangements, etc. prior to walking down the aisle AND it poured 5 minutes after my ceremony. In the midst of it all, there was Crystal and her team with a huge smile and an efficient plan every step of the way. Thank you for making the best day of our lives magical, natural, pure perfection and somehow…everything I’ve always dreamed of, but never knew I wanted! Crystal was such an incredible wedding planner and huge part of our wedding process. My fiancé and I live in Dubai (but we had our wedding in NJ), and we would have never been able to plan everything/stay organized without Crystal. She constantly kept in touch with us and our vendors (regardless of the time difference), which made everything so much less stressful. Not to mention, we were also a Covid couple (meant to have our wedding in August 2020 but postponed to August 2021) and Crystal helped us navigated the entire postponement process. Crystal helped us with the entire planning process (except venue selection, we did that on our own) and I am so glad we used her services for the entire process (and would recommend her to any couple, especially those planning at a distance like us). In particular, she was so helpful on the wedding day/days leading up to the wedding. I (the bride) actually ended up feeling a bit sick in the middle of our reception (a mix of not eating enough all day and being overwhelmed with emotions). Crystal literally saved the day: she got me nausea medicine immediately, re-arranged the running order with the band so I could do my father/daughter dance a little later, and even loosened my dress/bustled it up with safety pins so I could breathe better. Honestly, without her there I probably would not have made it to the end of my own wedding reception, but luckily she fixed everything and I was able to re-join the party without any guests even noticing there was an issue.

There is no way I could have pulled off the amazing wedding we just had without all of Crystal's hard work. Her instincts and knowledge were spot on from the get go. She knew what we needed before we could even think of it, and how to tweak what we wanted when we thought we had figured something out without her. Over the last 2 1/2 years of wedding planning (yes 2 1/2 years because of COVID!!!) my mantra became Crystal is always right, because, simply put, she always is. From the first moment we met Crystal, we knew that we could not do this wedding without her, and she was worth every penny that we spent on her services. Crystal already had our wedding details and plans well in hand before the pandemic hit, and then it did, and the magic that she worked to move our wedding, while keeping nearly all of our vendors at no extra cost, was nothing short of extraordinary. She worked so closely with us for so long that she became more than a wedding planner; she is truly a friend. I think that is a testament to who she is and why she does such good work; Crystal truly cares. So whether you're a local couple or an out of state one, like we are, do yourself a favor and hire Crystal!

What can I say, Crystal was absolutely amazing. I really couldn't have done it without her... best money we spent by far for the wedding (and we spent a lot haha) If you are getting married in Cape May (or probably anywhere), having Crystal on your team is essential... she knows EVERYONE and EVERYTHING. Everywhere I went, when I mentioned that Crystal was my planner everyone's immediate response was always "Oh, Crystal--she's the best!" After planning a successful wedding with her, I can honestly say I agree wholeheartedly! It was NOT an easy year as we had booked our date prior to the pandemic. My venue was NOT easy to work with or get in touch with, and they were most definitely not reasonable with all of the uncertainty of planning a wedding during COVID. I could not have navigated it without Crystal and her team. Crystal is a saint, she is extremely busy, but when my mom or I needed to vent about about something, you'd never know it. She was so patient with us, ALWAYS took the time to listen to us or answer our millions of questions. Her suggestions/recommendations were spot on. She is very organized and kept me on track. I got to the week of the wedding and kept thinking I was missing something.... I wasn't. I just had it all done earlier than I'd thought. When I met up with/talked on the phone with her, it always felt like I was meeting up with a friend. I really enjoyed her company/conversation which made a really stressful time a little bit less stressful. When problems arose, she worked hard to fix them as fast as possible. The wedding day was the most amazing day of our lives. Somehow everything fell into place and I had the wedding of my dreams despite COVID. Some of it may have been divine intervention... she can't control the weather or the CDC, but most of it was because of Crystal. So thank you. I could obviously go on for hours about Crystal and Shore Thing Event Services.... I won't. Book her, you won't be disappointed.

Crystal and her colleagues are and were for us stellar wedding planners, consistently and conscientiously available and on top of every detail. Crystal navigated several complicated venue preparations and processes seamlessly to meet the vision and provide beautifully for everyone. She has fostered professional relationships with city officials where permits are required and a wide variety of vendors that then allow for a seemingly effortless presentation. The comments are still coming as to the beauty, charm, elegance and unique aesthetic of our daughter's wedding. Could not have done it without Crystal and her tireless behind-the-scenes work ethic!

Words cannot describe how blessed we were to have Crystal as our wedding coordinator, especially after our wedding was postponed by a full year due to the pandemic. I cannot recommend working with Crystal enough. Originally I was only after rental services, but as the time passed, I realized that I was going to need someone to help and lean on the day of the wedding if I wanted to enjoy it at all. ESPECIALLY in the situation with COVID-19, Crystal mae everything so easy and simple, and has an affinity for spreadsheets just like me. She contacted neighbors, vendors, decorated using her rental services BEAUTIFULLY! She was professional, organized, and so stinking sweet. She really did make the day enjoyable and stress-free, and I don't know what I would have done without hiring her.

We initially planned to do without a planner but after speaking with friends we decided to find one. From our very first conversation I was sold. Crystal is an actual angel sent from heaven and we could not have gotten through the wedding planning or event without her. I could write a novel about how truly amazing Crystal Hunt is! Planning a wedding during Covid was a true nightmare, but Crystal made the process an absolute dream. Every time I called or texted at all hours of the day and night with questions or concerns, she answered and made things happen. She handled all of our Covid issues and restrictions with ease and grace. She has an abundance of connections throughout the Cape May area. We used many local vendors through Crystal because of this, and they were all just as amazing as her! Every time I would tell someone in Cape May I was using Crystal as my planner, they would rave about how efficient and helpful she is. For starters, in our family we call Crystal our angel. My husband and I were among the couples who had to move their wedding due to COVID. When we found out the news, my mom immediately started looking into wedding planners who could help us with all the changes that needed to be made. From the moment we started working together, Crystal took us from a deer in the headlights feeling to a sense of ease and excitement as we started to entirely replan our wedding! She was so organized and diligent- we should have hired her from the beginning because there were so many things I never thought of that she brought to our attention! Being that Crystal is from Cape May she has a TON of knowledge about the area as well as other vendors. She made our wedding even better than it would have been before we moved it! Anything I said I wanted and she made it happen- No questions asked. Throughout our planning, and up until the day of the wedding, we had big changes happening. Crystal took care of EVERYTHING without me evening knowing so that I could be stress free and enjoy our wedding day. She and her team worked their butts off all day to make sure everything was as it should be. Without them, we would not have had the enjoyable day we had, we wouldn’t of even had our wedding. It is not an understatement that we call her our angel. Crystal went above and beyond to make sure our day was exactly how we wanted it. She is a truly amazing and talented wedding planner. Crystal did such an amazing job the day of our wedding! My big wedding celebration was cancelled due to COVID and instead we had a small wedding in our backyard. I had a pretty specific vision and everything turned out better than I could have imagined! The decor was beautiful, she was able to set up our camera to video the entire ceremony and even managed to somehow heat up our mini hot dogs in between ceremony and happy hour (my very last minute request!) she was such a joy to work with and I’d definitely recommend. My friends and family have raved about how perfect everything was.

We had the best experience with Shore Thing Event Services!!! On top of regular wedding planning stress, we were planning a wedding from out of state AND dealing with the uncertainty and rapidly changing restrictions due to COVID this summer. Despite all of the challenges, Crystal worked endlessly to make sure we still had the wedding of our dreams. We went from switching venues, to deciding to postpone, to ultimately changing our plans entirely all in a matter of days, less than one month from our date. I mean it from the bottom of my heart that we could not have pulled off a wedding, especially one as perfect for us, this year without Crystal. She truly went above and beyond her role as our coordinator and I cannot recommend her enough!!! Leah, Crystal's assistant, was also incredible the day of with setting up all of the tables/chairs/decor, coordinating with our vendors, and keeping us on track for our timeline. I didn't have to lift a finger or worry about a single thing, so I was able to just relax and enjoy myself on our special day.

Crystal is amazing!!! We could not have done it without her. She provided day of coordination services for our 18 guest wedding in Cape May. I didn’t have to worry about a thing. From setting up the event and ceremony areas to making sure I had a drink in my hand, she took care of every detail. She even went and got a heater when the weather started to get chilly. Her rental offerings were beautiful; we loved the floating candles, table linens, farmhouse chairs, and bulb lights. Everything looked just how I wanted. I cannot recommend her enough.

As a professional DJ-MC, I had the pleasure of working with Crystal for a destination wedding this past weekend at the beautiful Cold Spring Village. Five (plus) stars! When my husband and I decided we wanted to plan our wedding remotely, as well as having the ceremony and reception in two different locations, I knew I had my work cut out for me. To say Crystal was a godsend is no understatement. Her knowledge, connections, organization, and an eye for design was absolutely clutch in our wedding. We hired her for day-of coordinator, but she was integral in easing my nerves in the weeks leading up to the wedding. I do not even know where to being! SES was beyond a God send in the wedding planning process! Crystal kept me sane for the year and a half leading up to the wedding and pulled off my vision flawlessly. We tasked her with the next-to-impossible mission of getting a baby grand piano onto the beach for my daughter to play while I walked down the aisle, and she did not stop until we had one. There was not a single detail overlooked and our day was perfect! Stephanie, Crystal’s Assistant, made sure we had everything we could possibly need during the reception in between guarding the cake table from kids and dancing with a restless flower girl when she needed distracting. I could not recommend SES more!

Crystal Hunt from Shore Thing Event Services coordinated my daughter's wedding in June at Historic Cold Spring Village in Cape May New Jersey. It was the most stress free wedding I've been involved in. I have four daughters and wish I hired Shore Thing Event Services for the other three weddings! Everything was beautiful and handled professionally. I feel like Crystal went above and beyond in her role to be sure everything was perfect for my baby's special day. There were many "little" things I notices that we never even spoke of which made the venue even more beautiful. She worked well with the caterer, photographer and DJ who all commented on how smoothly everything ran. If I had another event to host, Shore Thing Event Services would certainly be my first phone call.

Crystal and her crew were nothing but exceptional on our special day. It started with leading up to the day though, she walked us through every detail. Her partner for the day was at the church when we arrived while Crystal and her crew helped set up the venue for the reception. Even before I could tell one of them I needed some water, they already had it for me. They were on top of EVERYTHING! The best in the business!

I cannot say enough about Crystal and Shore Thing Event Services. I initially did not feel like I needed a “wedding planner”. I truly believed I could plan everything and remember every detail myself. After planning a large family event I quickly realized the stress that goes into large event planning. I knew then I needed help. I thought at first a day of coordinator would be best as most of my planning was complete. I ended up picking a package that included meetings 2 and 1 month prior to the wedding, all week of access and the full day of coordinating. I tell everyone this was the BEST decision I made for our wedding and the MOST VAULBALE money we spent. Crystal thought of every detail and often took frantic calls from me the months and weeks before. She helped me a create a timeline down to the minute and it is because of her and her ALONE that everything went so smoothly the day of. She was patient when I was texting her pictures of last minute items from Michaels. She was kind and compassionate when I was freaking out that it was going to rain. She watched the radar the entire night and day of to calm my nerves for me. She made sure everyone at my venue was on board. At first the venue seemed to have a coordinator to help but they were completely absent during all times of need. She helped get my 91 year old great aunt on the beach and made sure my daughter home safe after the ceremony. All of this without me even knowing! She kept all my stress at bay that day. I would not have had the STRESS FREE beautiful wedding I did without her. I HIGHLY recommend her to any bride. You need her! Trust me!

Crystal was the best! We hired her as a month of planner for our Willow Creek Winery Wedding. Crystal was very easy to work with and does everything she can to make sure your day goes perfectly. She helped us with everything from vendors to helping me find a dog sitter for our furry child. The day went so smoothly and she had a lot to do with that.
