My husband and I have nothing but incredible things to say about Jen, mostly because our day wouldn't have probably happened without her! From the start Jen was the most organized and communicative "vendor" we worked with (more like a friend then a wedding vendor). Joe and I worked with Jen for ~2 years before our wedding since we had such a long engagement and Jen stayed close via email/call/text the entire time while planning. She was extremely helpful in terms of getting in touch with vendors, figuring our scheduling and beyond helpful in terms of suggesting things I hadn't even thought of. I would obviously recommend Jen 10/10 times. Our actual wedding day went SO smooth all because of her. We truly don't know what we would have done without her.
Jen and Shore to Please Wedding Planning is the best. Jen went above and beyond to make sure our wedding day was perfect. We had to bring all the vendors in ourselves and the months leading up to the wedding Jen was contacting/organizing vendor contracts and drop off times with the venue. She was our point of communication and she was always so available. She made the wedding planning process fun and worry-free! She also made sure the wedding day ran seamlessly. Jen was even at the venue the night before AND day of helping to setup and organize. I seriously CANNOT recommend Jen enough. Thank you so much Jen for everything and for making our wedding absolutely perfect!!!!! We couldn’t have done it without you!!!
Jen is amazing to work with! She is so professional, kind, supportive, honest and has so much experience in working with various vendors, venues, guests, and clients. She assisted me on the day of my wedding (as well as leading up to the special day)! I trusted Jen completely with streamlining communication, decor set up (as I brought a lot of decor in myself) as well as working with all the vendors on site to make sure the entire day / night went smoothly. Jen is truly so special to work with and her professionalism is top notch. She also had an assistant, Kelly who helped the day of and can't thank them enough for making my vision come to life. From ideation to execution to post wedding; the STP team is the best and Jen is one of the best planner's I have had the pleasure to work with! We had a blast and the day wouldn't have been as special without her!
Jen was an absolute pleasure to work with, and we can't thank her enough for going above and beyond to make our special day as smooth and worry-free as could be.
Leading up to the wedding, Jen was super helpful in recommending vendors that we ended up working with, and were very happy with. She kept us really organized, on track with all of our payments, and had all our vendors set with her run of show that was so flawlessly executed. We even had a horrible rain storm start at the time of our wedding, and Jen was able to wrangle everyone up to move our ceremony inside, and it was perfect.
She was a perfect liaison between us and our vendors, and even even our parents and our vendors. You know you had a great planner when we received compliments from every one of our vendors that Jen was so great to work with.
I have to mention Jen's day-of help Lisa as well - Lisa took total charge of everything on-site the day of before Jen arrived, and the groom and party were comfortably setup for a relaxing afternoon, even though the venue had some hiccups for where we'd be getting ready.
We can not recommend Jen enough - she took so much off of our plate and made our lives so much easier leading up to the wedding and on the day of. Thanks so much, Jen (and Lisa!)
Jen was amazing!!!!! I didn't think I would really need the extra help, but decided to hire Jen anyway to have a point of contact the day of. Well I'm so glad I did!! I felt so much better during all of my phone calls with vendors because she knew all the questions to ask that I never would have.
On the day of, she was everywhere - helping set up the reception space, helping with getting ready, helping the groomsmen, contacting the vendors, you name it. Every little thing was covered by her the entire night, but guests didn't even notice she was there.
It was one of the best decisions we made for our big day and so happy she was a part of it!
Jen is the absolute best!!! She absolutely nailed it with my sister’s wedding and everything was so perfect and beautiful!!! She is also so sweet and dedicated!!! Once my sister absolutely loved working with her, I knew I had to work with her for mine five months later! I cannot recommend Jen enough!!! She is not only such a sweet person but she is beyond helpful during the stressful time of wedding planning and especially day of! She thinks of everything and makes everything so smooth and completely at ease. I couldn’t have done it without her and the day was absolutely perfect and everything we could have ever hoped and dreamed for!!! My family loves Jen as well and she made the day and wedding planning process seamless and so beautiful!!! She is the absolute best and I could not recommend her and her team enough!!! I wish I could leave 100000 stars. Jen is absolutely incredible and we could not have pulled off our wedding without her!! When we first booked our very DIY venue at Bayonet Farm in Holmdel NJ, the first thing we did was look for a month of coordinator and we are SOOO happy we chose Jen and Shore to Please Wedding Planning. She is so knowledgeable, organized, supportive and knew exactly what needed to be done and when! We had Jen come on even earlier than originally anticipated and she jumped right in, taking over contact with all of our vendors to make sure everything was in a good place. The venue coordinator was increasingly difficult to deal with but Jen never let that get to her and handled it all with such grace. She guided us through so many obstacles and really truly helped our vision come to life on the day of the wedding. Being there the day before to help set up and coordinate, to keeping everything moving and organized the day of. Kelly was there the day of as well and was such a huge help with making sure the bridal party was ready/on time and keeping things moving for the ceremony and beyond. We cannot recommend Shore To Please enough! Jen is the sweetest, kindest and most professional of planners. Our caterer even made a point to let us know that Jen was one of the best planners they've ever worked with and that they hope to work with her again soon. Our wedding was really huge undertaking and we cannot thank Jen & Kelly enough for everything.
Where to begin! Jen made our day an absolute dream! I could not have imagined a more perfect day! Jen and Kelly went above and beyond to have the day moving along and making sure that we were happy! They guided us through many Covid obstacles and made our wedding everything that we could have ever wanted. They took so much stress off of us and allowed us to enjoy every aspect of wedding planning and the wedding day! I can’t thank you girls enough! Shore To Please Wedding Planning, led by Jen and Kelly, was the absolute first stop and the first vendor hired when my daughter became engaged. I cannot imagine what we would have done without their knowledge and support throughout the planning process as well as on the wedding day. They were, without a doubt, the best and most crucial vendor and the reason why my daughter and son-in-law's wedding reflected their personalities and was flawless.
Their strengths are numerous - deep knowledge of the industry, connection with multiple vendors in every field, strong ability to quickly change direction when needed, empathetic and patient, unruffled by anything, including a pandemic and having to plan the wedding 3 times before it was safe to gather in numbers.
This team held numerous meetings and calls with the bride and family throughout the planning, which lasted more than 1 1/2 years because of the pandemic. There were important check-ins at key stages of the planning, as well as more frequent meetings and discussions as we got closer to the big day. They provided advance planning and in-person support for visiting venues, shopping, for every little detail that you could imagine, including a number that we didn't even know we should be planning for!
In particular, they oversaw all the contracts with other vendors, became the point of contact with those vendors, and provided significant daily support in the week prior to the wedding.
On the wedding day, they took care of absolutely everything. As the bride's parents, we were able to thoroughly enjoy the wedding ceremony and reception while Jen and Kelly took charge of all details. We all had the best time, will have beautiful memories for life because of the superlative support provided to the bride, groom, families, and guests by Short To Please.
I highly recommend Shore To Please Wedding Planning, their services saved us and guided us throughout the planning stages as well as on the wedding day. Knowing that Jen and Kelly were there for us, we all approached the wedding day with confidence, calm, and a sense of joy. They exceeded all of our expectations and I wish I could give them 10 stars instead of 5!
We had decided to hire Shore to Please Wedding Planning when we decided we wanted to have our wedding in New Jersey rather than in Texas in early 2020. When COVID 19 hit, we were faced with a ton of decisions, and Jen helped us along the way with each decision! Our wedding was exactly how we dreamed it would be even though we cut the guest list to 1/4 of what we were originally planning! Jen & Kelly were so hands-on in every single detail of our rehearsal party and reception. They were the best, best, best purchase we made for the wedding. We could trust that thousands of miles away, our wedding was being planned with care.
We were one of many couples affected by this COVID pandemic. Jen and Kelly had been with us for a year already prior to this whole thing! They were with me every single step of the way; when we had to plan our big day, not once, but twice! Unfortunately we had to opt for a smaller wedding closer to us instead of in NJ and I'm so devastated. But Jen & Kelly have been the absolute best, assisting the poor mess I've been through all this, and communicating with all of our vendors for me!
I was hesitant to hire planners for our original wedding of close to 200 guests, but I'm glad I found these ladies. They've been nothing but kind, supportive, and so helping throughout the entire process. I highly recommend them 1000%

At first I was skeptical to hire a wedding planning team as I thought I could set up the day of myself being it was a small wedding. Well, I am so glad that I decided to hire Jen & Kelly to help set up on my wedding day because without them it wouldn't be possible! As the Bride, you should be worried about getting ready and making sure you are all set... leave the planning to the professionals :) Jen & Kelly are the sweetest and are there with you every step of the way to make sure your vision comes true! Kelly and Jen were wonderful! My new husband and I agree that they were worth every dime (and then some)! We hired them for their “day of” services, but in all actuality they were there every step of the way. Both ladies kept us on track, provided helpful hints, and came up with a schedule for our big day that was down to the minute. They are both friendly, easy to talk to, and extremely knowledgeable. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone getting married in the area! I cannot say enough good thinks about Jen and Kelly!!!
There are not enough stars available to summarize how happy we are with Jen and Kelly from Shore to Please. The best decision my husband and I made when we decided to get married was hiring STP. We found their information on Wedding Wire and the Knot, and the reviews spoke for themselves. We had a consultation call with them, and knew immediately that they were the perfect fit for us. We had Jen and Kelly do full planning for our wedding day. We both work a lot of hours at our jobs and having STP on top of everything for us was a life saver. We didn't know where to begin with planning a wedding, so their expertise and patience was key for us. They helped with all of our vendor selections and we couldn't be happier with all of their services. We received so many compliments from our guests on everything. There were so many details that we would have overlooked without STP's assistance. They walked us through every decision along the way, offered their insight, and even assisted with contract negotiations. We did not need to follow up on a single thing leading up to the wedding day because Jen and Kelly were on top of everything - from the venue and vendors to the decorations, favors and timeline. When it came time for the big day, they had worked out a very detailed wedding day itinerary for all of the vendors and the bridal party to make sure everything was perfect. They even made sure we ate and drank throughout the day and didn't get sidetracked in the whirlwind. We have heard so many couples say how quick a wedding day goes by and that they don't get to enjoy it because the day is so hectic. That was not the case for us. We got to enjoy the entire day with each other and our guests, and we owe that to Jen & Kelly. We received so many compliments from our guests and we told them we have STP to thank for such an amazing wedding day.

Jen is amazing!! I have always thought I was organized, but let me say, Jen is above and beyond!! She thought of details that never crossed my mind! Having a planner help organize all of the wedding day details and day-of coordinating was super helpful. Not only did they provide me with a year-long check-list, they assisted day-of, ensuring all of my vendors had the necessary details to have a flawless day!!
Jen & Kelly went above and beyond my expectations. I used them as my day-of wedding coordinators so that I didn't have to stress about anything. In the 2-3 prep calls we had leading up to the wedding, they were attentive, and detail oriented. I felt like a weight was lifted off my shoulders after every call. The day of my wedding they were two steps ahead of everything on our wedding timeline. Anticipating and being proactive with how the day flowed. They were extremely responsive to emails and kept all my vendors rallied together during the final week of confirmation calls/emails. I can't recommend them enough -- wonderful experience! I enjoyed my wedding and myself (nor my parents) had to worry about a THING!

When I was in the initial stages of planning I thought I could do it all myself, and I was definitely wrong. With the help of Jen and Kelly, they changed the game for me. Jen helped me source vendors, reviewed contracts, created day-of timelines, ensured I was on budget, she even created email templates for each vendor for me to send out two weeks before to re-confirm the details of the day. I mean, she literally did it all! Jen joined calls with my vendors and the venue and always knew the right questions to ask – things I never would’ve thought of! Kelly and Jen are so sweet and went above and beyond to ensure my big day was everything I had envisioned. If I could give them 10 stars, I would! Initially I didn't think I needed a planner or day of coordinator but after deciding I was going to be doing a LOT of DIY decor, tables, flowers, etc. I realized I needed some help. I found STP after contacted a few similar companies in the area and realized they were the most affordable but gave you the most amount of dedicated time (go figure!). Jen & Kelly might've been my favorite of all my vendors. They were extremely thorough and asked questions about every little detail, even things I hadn't thought of. They made sure everything was taken care of leading up to my wedding day as far as coordinating the other vendors, payments, my DIY decor, schedules, who was doing what, and making sure all bases were covered. The day of the wedding they were taking care of everything while I got ready. I had rentals that someone had to be present for and they made sure to be there. Right after the ceremony every time I turned around one of them had a drink for myself or my husband in hand. They are also just very cool and easy to talk to, something that's more important than you may think when planning a wedding. I can't speak upon their full service planning as I didn't get that, but if you are looking for a day of coordinator I swear you cannot go wrong with these girls.
I can’t say enough about how wonderful Jen and Kelly were in the planning, preparation and coordination of our wedding. From big tasks (like communicating with our wedding vendors, creating spreadsheets of items we’d need, and helping us set up at our venue the day before) to little ones (like vendor recommendations, buying last minute ice, dropping off an emergency kit and helping me pin the back of my dress before our first dance!) and EVERYTHING in between, they were so unbelievably helpful! As someone who is extremely detail oriented and had a very specific vision for my wedding, I was worried that hiring wedding planners would make me uncomfortable, but my experience was just the opposite! Jen and Kelly knew just what to say and do to keep things running smoothly leading up to and on our big day. They were so supportive and helped me create exactly what I had envisioned! If I could give them 6 stars, I would! :)
I booked Jen and Kelly 2 years before my big day. Over the course of that time, there were lots of changes to our plans, including a couple flustered months of finding a new venue. They were there every step of the way helping me make decisions, giving their advice or even just cheering me on. They were there to give me design suggestions, gave me pointers on where to purchase items and even helped me bring some DIY ideas to life. On the day of our wedding, I could not have asked for a better team. They knocked it out of the park. Jen showed up to my hotel room while we were getting ready and greeted me with a big hug and a wide smile, eager to get the show on the road! She updated me on status of vendor arrivals, brought along an awesome “Emergency Kit”, checked to make sure the guys were on schedule and kept me calm all morning. Jen and Kelly kept us on track all day. They helped set up all my décor items at the venue (and it all looked AMAZING because they totally understood my vision the entire time!) Throughout the day and the wedding itself, the two of them were there if we needed anything, they put out any fires and made me feel so comfortable about absolutely everything. Hiring Jen and Kelly for our Day of Coordinators is one of the best things I did for our wedding. I honestly don’t know how people plan a wedding without someone like them. I really can’t thank the two of them enough for everything. They are seriously rock stars.
We hired Jen & Kelly for full service for our wedding and could not be more happy!! I had found them on The Knot and after reading all of the positive reviews, I reached out. They immediately responded and were so lovely I hired them right away.
We had a short timeframe, only 5.5 months to plan the whole wedding and also picked to get married the 4th of July weekend down the shore. Neither scared them off! They were absolutely amazing to work with! They are extremely organized, know all of the right vendors, very responsive and made it such an easy, stress free, process. They took care of every detail leading up to the big day and the day of, making sure I did not worry about anything. Their execution was beyond what I expected and I could not be more thankful for everything they did for us. I highly recommend them and any bride (and groom!) would be extremely lucky to work with them!
Hmmm.. How do you plan a surprise wedding and while living abroad!!! It is hard enough to be a wedding planner, but to plan one when the couple lives in South Africa and are having their wedding in NJ was quite the effort. It required imagination and we really needed to leave our trust with Jen & Kelly. We are so happy! It was just what we envisioned and honestly, we wouldn't have changed a thing. These ladies are both so accommodating and made us relax and leave things in their hands. And.... as far as the "surprise" part! what an amazing success. Hiring Jen and Kelly was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. My mom and maid of honor both live many hours away, and it was helpful to have someone else to attend meetings with me and prep for the months leading up to and the day of the wedding. They thought of things I didn't, made sure they fully understood what we wanted, and were so helpful in coordinating with our vendors. It was so nice to be able to enjoy the day of the wedding without having to worry if things would be done, and I am so grateful to them for that.
We hired Jen and Kelly for the "day of " planning. By the time we hired Jen and Kelly we had already secured our vendors. But they offered and helped us with a few suggestions and loose. The wedding was at the Shadowbrook in Shrewsbury and we were concerned about the many international guests that would be attending. The bride was staying at the Oyster Point in Red Bank. The groom and guests at the Doubletree nearby. Coach buses would be shuttling guests to the venue. Our vendors included a bagpiper and violinist, and a singing duo. We hired Shore to Please because I , the mother of the bride wanted to enjoy this momentous occasion . I did not want to be bothered with questions or concerns I just wanted to revel in the beauty of my daughter, son in law and the venue on the day of her wedding. I live in Florida the bride and groom in Australia and the wedding was in NJ. Hiring this team was the best decision we ever made and the smartest investment for the highest return we could have invested in. If I had known how helpful and on point they would be I would have hired them from the start and saved myself a ton of stress and legwork . The day went like clock work. They figured out the timeline and took care of details I wanted no part of . They ran around along with the attendants at the Shadowbrook to save us time, energy and stress. Prior to the actual event they contacted and coordinated our vendors and instructed them on our wishes. They were there, but knew how to stay behind the scenes and discreetly solve issues. We had an almost two hour meeting prior at the venue where we discussed the set up of details. They met with us and the Shadowbrook staff and asked the questions we never thought of asking. One of the planners was with the bride and assisted with the bridesmaids and dresses and the other at the hotel coordinating the transport and guests. In addition they oversaw the setting up of our details like the escort cards, vintage travel display and memorial and ceremony table. The venue staff was excellent , but they made sure our wishes were followed to the letter. Kelly was outstanding, the other girls I saw less of, but judging from the sequence of events they were phenomenal as well. The wedding was momentous, but the best part is we got to savor every moment. They were thorough, organized and a pleasure to work with. You may think you have it covered ? But I guarantee that on the day of a million little issues will pop up . Would I recommend them again? without a doubt !
Shortly after I got engaged, a friend of mine texted me to let me know that her husband has some friends that are wedding planners. As soon as I read it I said to myself, “no way and no thanks.” My sisters were married a year apart and we all chipped in to help plan amazing, beautiful weddings. Why would I need planners when those two weddings went off flawlessly? Seems like a waste of money. I brought it up to my fiancé James and he thought, “well, let's just email them and see what they have to offer.”
Long story short, it was love at first meeting. James and I had a wedding with lots of moving parts – an outdoor ceremony, a separate reception location and 250 people to bus around the jersey shore on 4th of July weekend. I think what really did it for us at our first meeting is when we told them our thoughts on the boardwalk ceremony (mind you, it's a public place) and James asked, "What if a crazy beach guy comes running through our ceremony in a speedo?" Kelly quickly answered, "Oh, we'll take care of that. I’ll tackle them if I need to.”
Jen and Kelly helped us every step of the way in planning our big day and looking back, there is no chance our wedding day could have happened without them. Over 7 months, we met with them about 5 times and each time they supplied us with an agenda to go through to keep the meeting running smoothly and efficiently. In between those 5 meetings, there may have been about 50 emails.... a day. Jen and Kelly answered these emails so quickly that I (a teacher) would check my phone after work and realize not only is our question answered, but whatever the situation was, they took care of it. Whether it's booking vendors for you, researching favor options, or calling Old Navy to find out what day the $1 flip flops sale is, Jen and Kelly do it all.
Rather than stressing over wedding plans that we've seen ALL of our friends experience, our year of engagement was FUN. We couldn't have enjoyed it as much if it wasn't for Jen and Kelly. Also, it RAINED during our outdoor ceremony, and our reception lost power and was running on a generator (which also failed and they had to reboot). Jen and Kelly helped pick up all those pieces for us to make the day go flawlessly, even with those minor/major setbacks :)
If you're thinking about not having planners, send these gals an email before you make that decision. If you are thinking of wedding planners, then you should 100% give them a chance to be yours. They are wonderful people who are kind, hard working, efficient, and not to mention affordable in the grand scheme of things. I could go on and on about how great they are but you’ll see for yourself the moment you speak with them. We can’t tell you enough to reach out to Jen & Kelly immediately.
Jenn and Kelly were the best choice we made for the entire wedding. We debated using a wedding planner in general because we are very organized, but hiring them was a total game changer and made our wedding lives SO much better!! They were organized. They were professional. They kept us on track. They were just amazing. They set up our meetings. They brought all of the information about curtain status of the wedding every time. Not only were they able to accommodate and provide us options for EVERYTHING we needed, but they anticipated the things we would need ahead of time. They helped us fill in the gaps for any and all vendors we were missing; after-party, transportation, and hotel accommodations. The hotel we worked with was the least cooperative and most difficult vendor we could have imagined and they managed all of the interactions so that our guests were accommodated and we were spared multiple headaches. They did all of our final confirmations to vendors, and took on the multiple deliveries of goody bags and favors to the hotel, the wedding venue and the rehearsal venue. Day of, they were there to set up at every single moment – at the house before, at the venue getting ready, during the ceremony and at the after-party. They were ever present yet totally non-intrusive. They brought this AMAZING rescue kit to the venue that had every single thing we could have possibly needed. When my maid of honor’s dress ripped, they had all of the supplies needed for a quick fix. During pictures, when it was really quite chilly, they drove out to go pick up coffee for my groom and I! They went above and beyond to the point where when my sister’s service dog needed walked in the rain, they took out the dog so she could stay at the ceremony! They even took care of wrapping the whole evening up by making sure our top layer of our cake was wrapped up and our marriage license ended up at city hall! My family would hire them again in a heartbeat to coordinate any life events!
Having Kelly and Jen coordinate our wedding was the BEST decision we made during our wedding planning process! We could not have done it without them. My fiancé and I were planning our wedding on his grandparents farm, and as a result there were a million tiny details that we had not factored in when we first chose the location. This ranged from "big" elements such as electricity, water connections, disposing of garbage, and day of timelines to other "small" details that brought a special touch to our day such as personalized jams, rustic table numbers, and dessert table arrangements. They not only helped bring these items to our attention in a thoughtful and constructive way leading up to the date, but the day-of handled everything so that my fiancé and I were not bothered once with any questions or issues. We were able to be completely in the moment, and as a result our day was absolutely perfect. I remember looking over during our photos and seeing Jen hauling a bale of hay to help set up decorations when our set-up was running behind schedule and being wowed with their willingness to put all hands on deck! We felt as though the amount of work that Jen and Kelly did, the stress they saved us, and their organization/attention to detail provided a level of quality service that far exceeded our expectations and was the most worthwhile spent budget item of our wedding. Not only that, but they are incredibly sweet as well! We cannot thank them enough!
Shore to Please Weddings was amazing to work with. It wasn't until 2 months before the wedding that we realized we needed help the day of! When I saw Shore to Please Wedding Planning I knew they would be perfect for what we needed. We are so glad we had them there to set up our ballroom! We met with them to go over everything prior to our event and they made sure every detail was perfect. They also suggested many ideas that were helpful and creative. Shore to Please Wedding Planning made the last few months of my wedding as stress free as possible!
