Sierra and the Shumaker team were amazing and really helped to enhance our wedding venue space! Their materials are well organized so you understand the options they provide, and Sierra was very responsive throughout the planning process. We were so pleased with how our chandeliers and twinkle lights turned out! Highly recommend!

We booked Shumaker to help elevate our wedding venue, the Farm at Eagles Ridge. My main vision was a romantic/airy feel with a rustic barn and Shumaker was perfect! From start to finish, the whole process was super easy (which I feel is tough to come by when planning a whole wedding!) We had our initial meeting with JoAnn and she was so helpful to show us the different ways we could style each part of our venue, which helped our vision come to light. We had nothing to worry about on our wedding day, the team was already on site installing everything we booked. Our wedding day was absolutely beautiful and I'm so happy we booked Shumaker, I'd recommend to anyone!

We got married at Excelsior and chose Shumaker to help us decorate the space. We were so thrilled with the final outcome! Our original motivator was to get draping in the interior in case it rained and we needed to get married inside, but once we saw the 3 ft disco ball we knew we wanted to have it! We ended up decorating with the 3ft disco ball, connected to the ivory draped romance. We also opted for the ivory welcome entrance drape. Every element was gorgeous and really elevated the downstairs of Excelsior! JoAnn and the team at Shumaker were friendly and responded quickly. They worked seamlessly with our venue to coordinate drop off/ pickup times- we were completely hands off which was one less worry during the final days before the wedding. I would absolutely work with Shumaker again- they have a great selection of products!

Shumaker PDT was absolutely incredible to work with! I booked a standard design at the Cork Factory Hotel as they do such beautiful work there. The design process was completely painless as they had it all ready to go, but they still sent me diagrams to make sure that everything was perfect. Week of they were in touch to let me know everything was all set and ready to go. The room looked absolutely stunning and I would book them again and again!!

I can't even begin to describe how thankful I am for the ShumakerPDT team! From day one, they were so kind and easy to work with. They were super responsive and always happy to answer any questions I had (and I had a lot!). They were also super helpful with making any changes along the way! Shumaker PDT truly transformed our wedding venue into a magical wonderland! They knocked our vision out of the park. They were amazing to work with from start to finish. Our draping, twinkle lights and Edison bulbs hanging above our sweetheart table were truly beautiful. I am SO glad we hired them as our reception space would not have been the same without them!

Shumaker was a great addition to our wedding. We decided to have our ceremony indoors & the beautiful ivory draping that Shumaker installed was a huge reason why. Working with Dustin was a very easy process, all communications were able to be handled via email. Installers arrived at 8am on wedding day. Everything was perfect!

My husband and I hired Shumaker PDT for our September 2022 wedding at Excelsior one year ago and Dustin was amazing every step of the way through our wedding planning! Dustin took the time to set up a zoom call with me so I could meet him “face-to-face” and listened to all of my visions about how I wanted the look and feel to be on our special day. He offered great suggestions, and in the end, Shumaker PDT made all of my inspirations come to life! I selected the Trio of Rings rings (for the green wall/florals), Suspended Pipe for Florals (for above our head table) and the Starfield Festoon Canopy (for our dance floor). Everything was so beautiful, I highly recommend Dustin with Shumaker PDT!

We used Shumaker for our May wedding at the Farm at Eagles Ridge. We chose a twinkle light and draping package for the ceiling of the barn. It turned out great, and really gave the barn such a romantic feel, which is exactly what we were looking for. They were a pleasure to work with, professional, prompt and responsive to emails. Highly recommend!

Shumaker was able to add the perfect touches to our event space. We absolutely love the edison bulb lighting that they have and it was perfect over our sweetheart table. If you are looking for a place to help add those special touches this it it.

Our venue recommended Shumaker and their team did not disappoint. They have a ton of options to consider to add a little extra detail to your wedding. We added drapery, twinkle lights, uplighting and a ladder with Edison bulbs. It was perfect for our big day. They worked directly with our venue for set-up and tear down and it was honestly one of the easiest processes out of our entire wedding weekend.

Simply stunning event design! My coordinator, husband and I worked worked JoAnn and she was fabulous! Together we dreamed up quite the event design and seeing it in person was truly magical. I absolutely love how Shumaker was able to take my 2 concepts: romantic for the ceremony & dinner, glamorous for the dancing, and bring it all to life. Our guests could not stop raving about how stunning all the draping and chandeliers were, and then when they saw the disco balls for dancing the party really started!! Working with Shumaker elevated our entire event and truly made it the most beautiful day of our lives. My husband and I cannot recommend them enough for your event.

JoAnn at Shumaker helped to facilitate additional decor at Excelsior for our wedding day and we couldn't have been happier with the results! The team was flexible with date rescheduling due to COVID and rental changes to meet our needs for the day. We rented the "mirror ball" and would recommend it to anyone.. it is enormous and was a great centerpiece for our dance floor.

Our day was perfect thanks to Shumaker. It was so great working with Shumaker, they were so accommodating and flexible - couldn't have been smoother!! We didn't have to worry about a thing, the whole process was extremely stress free.

Shumaker was a joy to work with and super accommodating even when I added more items onto the list of decor a month before the wedding. They were organized, efficient, professional, and responded to any questions I had quickly. The day of the wedding the decorations really made the space (the cork factory hotel ballroom) look magical. We rented Edison bulbs to hang over out sweetheart table, up lighting, drapery, twinkle lights, and barrels. All decor was installed as planned and looked gorgeous.

They transformed a bland ballroom into the ceremony space of our dreams. We highly recommend working with Shumaker to make your day magical.

Dustin Imhoff helped us plan and design the decor for my daughter's wedding at Excelsior. He was great to work with and had many options to show us. He listened to the concept that my daughter and her fiancee had in mind and was able to come up with the perfect items to set their plan in motion. On the day of the wedding, the items we chose exceeded our expectations. They were even more beautiful in place than when we say them at the studio. We had a fabulous experience working with Dustin.

Using shumaker for my wedding decor and enhancements was one of the best decisions I made. We really were only looking for up lighting but to hit the minimum we added drapery, band lighting, and dance floor lighting which all looked PHENOMENAL!! Seriously the drapery really transformed the ballroom at the Cork Factory Hotel and was one of my favorite design elements. Dustin was a pleasure to work with throughout the entire process. He was fast to respond, easy to communicate with, and even helped me with suggestions when I was being indecisive. The day of the wedding they took care of everything and worked directly with my venue staff for a stress-free experience. Absolutely book them- you won’t regret it!!

Working with Dustin was a delight. Right from the very start he was very attentive in making sure we ordered everything we needed for our wedding day. Shumaker PDT was a wonderful company to work with to help bring our vision of our wedding reception to life! Our venue is a space with lots of natural light and tall ceilings, so we hired Shaker to hang 3 beautiful white chandeliers, as well as white draping. Guests kept complementing on how beautiful it looked! Also, we had a live flower wall which would have been tough to pull off, had it not been for the hanging structure that Shumaker provided. JoAnn was very responsive and great to work with, and the team did a great job executing the look we had in mind! I highly recommend them to help bring your event to life!

Shumaker helped to make our wedding day absolutely perfect! The moment I saw some of their decoration options, I knew that I had to have them. We chose to have the ladder hung in our venue with the beautiful large Edison bulbs hanging from it. All of our wedding guests commented on this piece and it truly helped to bring the entire wedding decor together. They were so easy to work with throughout the planning process, very prompt with communication and were so great on the wedding day! I highly recommend!

Shumaker provided the draping and uplighting for our reception space. They are creative and paid close attention to detail which really transformed our space into the soft romantic feel that we were going for. They communicated clearly with our venue and planned all set up and tear down. We would highly recommend them for any event design needs you may have!

This was the easiest and one of the most professional meetings we had during the entire wedding planning process. We changed our minds so so many times regarding what we wanted and they still were able to come through! We had a brand new design proposed, last minute, and Shumaker came through within a few weeks and they had it ready for us! Shumaker provided drapery for our wedding at The Inn at Leola Village. They were tasked to hide the tables in the venue during the ceremony. They were there to set up in a timely manner and right on time to tear down while the venue re-staged the room for the reception. The experience went very smooth!

I cannot recommend Shumaker PDT enough! From the very beginning they were very responsive and easy to work with. We were able to add draping over our venue's fireplace, uplighting, and festoon lighting. The draping added so much drama and served as a focal point at our ceremony and reception. Shumaker is the perfect company to add an extra special touch to your venue. Their drapery is effortlessly elegant, and they have amazing Edison Lamp fixtures. I was blown away by how beautiful everything looked, and what made the experience even better was how nice and responsive JoAnn was.

We used Shumaker for our wedding at Excelsior. JoAnn was super easy to work with and helped us choose the perfect lighting to enhance the space. We ended up renting three of their edison light chandeliers and entertainment lighting for the band. We could not have been happier with the results!

Shumaker is the only provider for my wedding venue, Excelsior. They were easy to work with and the items they have to choose from are very unique! I was very happy with the selection and the designer I worked with was very nice and accommodating with all of the questions and ideas I threw at her. Separately - they completely took care of setup and take down. They were the easiest vendor to work with as far as that was concerned! The only reason I'm not giving it 4 or 5-star review was that the design/placement of our one lighting fixture was actually not placed in the right area. It was placed too close to the band, leaving nothing where all of the people were seating during our reception. Basically, a waste of money as it is a focal fixture, not just a chandelier. What really made me REALLY question it more was the fact that one of the owners of Excelsior mentioned "the odd placement choice made by the designer". I wouldn't have known any different from blueprints (and never being in the space with a band set up), so I was relying on their expertise and experience working at this vendor to know the best placement or a single fixture with additional band lighting. They just fell a bit short for that main lighting fixture (what was supposed to be a focal point in the room). The other fixtures were just what we needed.
