ShutterBooth Photo, SloMotion, Fisheye & Glamour Booth

I'm sorry to have to leave this review, but I don't want other brides to have my experience, so hopefully the information I share will help them decide if this is a company they want to work with. I first contacted ShutterBooth right after the first of the year (early January 2020) because I wanted to learn about pricing an availability of their old-fashioned camera for my upcoming wedding. It is really neat looking, and it seemed like it would be a perfect fit for my vintage-style wedding. I filled out the quote request form on shutterbooth.com. After getting no response over the next week, I called the number for the Saint Louis office, which routes you to a woman named Laura. As best I can understand, she is the only ShutterBooth person in the STL area. I explained what I was looking for. She said she was on vacation, but was returning home the next day and would send it then. That sounded fine to me. After not receiving the info over the next week, I called and spoke to Laura again. She said she was feeling sick, but would email the pricing info that week. No problem -- everyone gets sick, so I wasn't worried. I didn't receive any info that week, so I called Laura again the following week. She said she was still sick, but planning to go to the doctor that day, so she would email the info within the next 3 days. I was feeling frustrated, but ok, I'll wait a few more days. Over the next two weeks, I still received no information from Laura. I called the national ShutterBooth phone number three times and left a message two of those times. (There was never an option to speak to a live person.) I explained that I was having trouble getting pricing information from Laura over the preceding weeks and asked if someone from the national office could call and provide it to me. No one responded. My fiance called Laura's STL number during that time, but she did not answer and he did not leave a message. I received a call from Laura on the evening of Tuesday, February 4. She reconfirmed what I was interested in and said she would email me the info on the various packages and costs for additional hours, etc. I finally received an email from Laura on Saturday, February 8, but astoundingly, she STILL DID NOT PROVIDE PRICING. She said she would email it the next day. (She did provide info on a company that had a photo backdrop style I was looking for. But without a camera, I don't need a backdrop, so....) I was feeling so frustrated an angry at her inexplicably terrible customer service that I decided not to respond to her email. I would wait and see if she would ever send pricing. Laura emails me on Monday, February 17, but instead of providing all the package and pricing options like we discussed, she provides info on only one package. It was in the form of a short bulleted list -- something she could have quickly plopped into an email 1.5 months ago. She said she "recommends" this package for me. But given that the only information she had about my reception was a date and location, I really don't think that she's in a better position to choose a photo booth package than I am. I responded and asked to see all the package/pricing options. I have not received any further communications from Laura. End result: 0/10 stars. I do not recommend Laura, ShutterBooth corporate, or ShutterBooth STL.
