I had my wedding in October of 2022. When I originally hired Michael, my husband and I were pleased with our engagement shoot. I was a pretty chill bride in what I wanted. I had a large wedding party of 23 people in total. Some of the things I made sure to ask for, were pictures of the wedding party, pictures with our grandparents, the important shots. Come to find it was half assed photos with grandparents during the reception because it was forgotten prior to and after ceremony. No full wedding party shots. None of my mom and I getting ready. Those detailed shots you hire someone to make sure they’re thinking about it on the day and not you. According to our contract, I was suppose to have a team of 4. A team of 3 showed up. So started off by paying for an extra meal for a vendor who didn’t show up. Dana was an absolute pleasure the photographer. But Michael showed up late the day of wedding. He barely got any footage of my husband getting ready or his brothers helping him. When the best man asked if he wanted to get more of them, he responded that “he had what he needed”. My wedding video came months late as it was forgotten about, and seemed to be rushed to put together and absolutely HORRIBLE. Looks like someone in attendance took it in their iPhone with the least amount of editing and horrible audio. The assistant (Michaels girlfriend) filmed my ceremony and can be heard laughing and awwing in the background. You see Michael running back and forth in the aisle to take photos, when he said he would be VIDEOING. I hired a videographer and photographer with them having an assist t each. Not 2 photographers and an assistant behind the video camera. Not a single moment was filmed of my cocktail hour (which I missed so I was hoping to see video) when the contract said 10 minute break during cocktail hour. I had my wedding on a beautiful estate. There’s not a single minute of video of inside the property. He overpromised on a lot of things including a surprise at the end. Never happened. They actually started to leave early before my MIL caught Michael so he can capture my husbands cigar shots with his groomsmen. I believe my wedding party was TOO big to handle and he was not honest with what he can handle. After messaging him that we were unhappy, and things were out of contract he did not offer compensation but responded with “he didn’t see that coming”. We rely on these people to capture our special day. Not to mention we were going through a very hard time in our lives planning and day of our wedding. We made the best of it had a great time, and that was not captured. I couldn’t even finish watching my video with the disappointment. Instead you see Michael riding around on his hover board on the dance floor. The right team did not show up, and when paying for photography and videography you don’t want an inexperienced assistant doing your footage. OVERALL, pictures were OK. The ones shot by Dana were amazing. Michaels are eh. Too edited, not the right lighting, doesn’t always get you from the best angle. He moves way too fast. My preview video was pretty good & the social media one not bad either. The main video, absolutely horrible. I cried, I’m embarrassed to show people. We now have to pay someone else to go through raw footage and put together a wedding video. Please be aware when booking it’s not a company good with large wedding parties and you must be EXTREMELY detail oriented with exactly what you want.

Where do I even start?! Mike was incredible from the moment I met him and Natalie at a Bridal Expo. He was very informative with his services and rates, and most of all patient . Yes I shopped around, but no other company (or person) compared to Mike. He's so down to earth, funny, and humble - and I personally think that also goes a long way. I immediately followed him on Instagram and saw his amazing work. I convinced my husband that we had to hire him - and I'm so happy that we did. I love how he takes the time to stay in touch, and calls me rather than text me when he needs to share an update with me. The day of our wedding went so smooth. He captured everything. When I received my video teaser and highlight we were in complete awe. It brought tears to my eyes how beautiful, and personal it was. My family and friends also had nothing but compliments and wonderful things to say about him. He even added one of my favorite songs to our video. I cannot say enough about Mike. He's by far the best vendor I have ever had the pleasure of working with. I definitely recommend 1000000 percent. I actually can't wait to host another special, grand event just to hire him again. Thank you Mike for making our day extra special, and unique. We are forever grateful.

Mike was so awesome to work with! He would always get back to me super quick whenever I had questions leading up to the wedding. On the day of he was super energetic and fun to work with! He made me, my husband, and whole bridal party super comfortable. The video was also 10/10!! Would totally recommend :)

Mike and his team at ShutterCo took such amazing care of me and my husband from start to finish. We couldn’t be happier with how our wedding videos and photos turned out. I felt that the cost, quality, talent, and professionalism of the entire team was second to none. Overall very personable, easygoing people to work with. It made our day go so smoothly knowing I was in good hands. Everything was delivered to us surprisingly faster than we even expected. Can’t say enough good things!
