What a dream to have a reception on the rooftop of this historic, beautiful building! We couldn't believe this gorgeous setting would be in our reality, but LaDwaina helped make it happen. We had our reception at sunset, and our guests were in awe of the elegance of this unique venue. We are so grateful also for Stasi, Devon the lead bartender Olivia and her amazing staff. They all made our reception to celebrate our elopement even more special, and we are so grateful. (Also note that we especially appreciated the contingency plan for the rain, even though we didn't need it.)

We rented the arts center for our November 2022 wedding and we couldn’t have been happier! From the initial tour with Stasi to the planning and night of with Rebekka, everything turned out so beautifully. This venue has EVERYTHING! we had the reception on the front steps, cocktail hour on the rooftop and reception in the gallery. The rental even included shutting down the street! We are so thankful to the entire team as Hurricane Ian impacted so many venues in the area, we were still able to have our big day just a month after the storm. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!

We can’t say it enough! The wedding was perfect! We worked with both Stasi & Melody while planning our wedding. They both were absolute gems to work with. They respond to emails promptly and answer all questions quickly. I was a very detail oriented bride and they made sure to stay on our timeline & execute all aspects of the day to a tee.
Stasi, the venues coordinator on our wedding day took care of so many details we saw & we know that she handled so many more items we didn’t see to ensure our wedding ran smoothly. Because of Stasi & the entire SBDAC team we were able to be 100% present and not have to worry about anything on our Big Day. The team went above and beyond and we greatly appreciated it.
The Team- all of the staff was extremely kind, happy to be there and did an amazing job. We only saw a small portion of their hard work, but we know they coordinated with our other vendors to make it look effortless. The SBDAC team are true professionals. We made the right decision choosing the SBDAC!

aving my wedding at Sydney & Berne Davis Art Center was the best decision I could have made! Melody and Stasi were beyond fantastic and the team at SBDAC were second to none. Not to mention that the venue is absolutely gorgeous! I knew I wanted a unique venue that fit our love for our city. SBDAC was the first venue that we visited, and its elegance and beauty made it difficult to picture ourselves getting married anywhere else. However, what truly made a difference was Melody. The way she stayed on top of everything was amazing. She knew what I needed before I needed it. She made the planning so easy and I felt confident in her which made for a stress-free day. Melody and Stasi make weddings look easy, especially during a pandemic! You can tell that they truly care about their couples and take pride in their work. I was able to completely enjoy my special day because of the team at Sydney & Berne and although I never plan on getting married again, I would with their help!

Stasi at SBDAC was such a pleasure to work with during the planning of my wedding. She was responsive to all my questions & her team did an amazing job hanging a large backdrop for our ceremony upstairs & then moving it downstairs in time for the reception. The lighting was beyond perfect for the look we were going for. I was blown away at how the space was transformed from one day to the next for our event. I can't thank Stasi enough for all she did behind the scenes to make my day perfect because I found out later it was more than she should have. I highly recommend the Sidney & Berne Davis Art Center for events & definitely encourage everyone to visit them on a regular day to check out the beautiful artwork displayed in their galleries.

We just had our wedding outside at the SBDAC and it was an absolute dream!! Stasi was amazing to work with and everything was perfect without a hitch. Thank you SO much, Stasi!!

We decided to have our ceremony at Sidney & Berne Davis Art Center in the Spring of 2017. Most of the wedding was planned by us, and we had all contact and communications with the venue up until the week of the wedding. That's when we hired Angie from Platinum Florida Wedding Company to be out day of the wedding Planner and coordinator. She then took over coordinating all vendors including Sidney & Berne Davis Art Center for the big day. If there is one tip we can give every new couple planning a wedding, it’s to make sure to hire a "day of" wedding planner. They will put your mind at ease and to take a load of your shoulders, I promise. Our Wedding Ceremony was at the Sidney Berne Davis Art Center and the Reception was at Suite 48. Having the wedding at two venues meant a lot of planning ahead of time.
But working with Sidney & Berne Davis Art Center was a great experience and we loved the historic location. Their attention to details such as adding a red carpet for me to walk down from made the day even more memorable.

Beautiful venue, great location, accomodating our needs. Lots of communication was needed with staff early on to keep them organized. They are not event planners, and I am glad I had a planner to help with this location. Everything was beautiful, and although pricey, we felt the ambiance was worth it. We added the partition during the cocktail hour in the side room from the main room, but no one told us this also cut off all a/c to the cocktail room full of people. This was our guests biggist complaint of the evening. Once the room was opened up the main room was cool enough for he rest of the evening. We had set up for a consumption bar, and noted the bartenders gave heavy pours which increased our bar costs by almost double than we anticipated. At least our guests enjoyed it. I would reccomend this venue, but be sure to be thorough on your side, to keep them accountable.
