Mimi and the Signature Affair team were an incredible joy to work with! My whole experience working with the team was nothing but positive. Mimi is a seasoned pro in the wedding industry, and from my first call with her, I knew I would be in secure hands to have the Signature Affair team make my dream wedding come true. Even better, Mimi worked so well within our budget and even gave us amazing suggestions that I never would have thought of in the first place. If you're a clueless bride like I was, the team will thoroughly walk you every step of the way to make sure your vision is being brought to life. We originally asked the team to cater our event, but we also decided to work with Mimi as our day-of coordinator at the very last minute (like a couple weeks before our wedding). Mimi graciously accepted out of the goodness of her heart... and her level of quality and professionalism was unmatched! This is definitely worth mentioning because even though the Signature Affair team has a record number of events/brides that they work with, you wouldn't even know it by how special/prioritized you are treated in every consultation. Lastly, my wedding was pulled off without a hitch! Mimi lets you be as hands-on/hand-off as you want for your wedding, and I really just gave her full control of the day because I trusted her that much. She's incredible at reading your guests and knows exactly how timing should be worked depending on the flow/vibe of the wedding. At the end of the night, I had nothing but raving compliments about the food, service, and the SA team. This is your sign to contact them now - you will NOT regret it! Bonus: Mimi also put my cake flowers on my wedding cake, and it was just breathtaking!

This is a long review. I want to say in the beginning that I would recommend that you contact Signature Affair as soon as you choose a date. They are an incredibly knowledgeable team and most importantly, they want to help you have the event that You want. You will thank your lucky stars that you found them early enough to get booked. Signature Affair provided excellent guidance and service for our 50th wedding Anniversary in our backyard in mid August. I contacted Mimi in mid April for our event in mid August. We were headed to our son’s wedding on the east coast in mid May, then an extended trip in Europe and would not return until mid July. Although she was already booked for our date, she generously offered to help us find vendors, review our back yard to suggest how to accommodate 50+ guests, and share her event planning experience with us. She came to our house with sample menus, chair, table cloth options, and an experienced eye for setting up guest tables, seating, self service beverages - ( we provided our own beverages - alcoholic and non alcoholic). In a couple of hours we had a solid skeleton of everything we needed for our event, and made preliminary reservations with an estimate of the number of guests. We also had cost estimates for everything. Mimi and her team found an available caterer for international food, secured reservations for (including set up and take down) tables, table cloths, chairs, and party accessories, Mimi agreed to do flower arrangements for the tables ( delivered them the day before) and facilitated all contracts for us to sign with vendors. And everything was open to modification when we returned in July. We had no worries while we were gone :-) Upon our return, in the midst of their MANY scheduled events, Signature Affair contacted us to make final decisions, Mimi came to our house again, took notes on our discussion and sent us a list of things we agreed to do ( including a shopping list) and a list of things she would do (including delivery schedule. We have been the parents of the bride and parents of the groom for our two children’s weddings outside of Portland (which were wonderful). We value quality, advice that reflects our “vision”, and personable and caring staff. Signature Affair provided top quality service at a very reasonable price for our less than a wedding, but way more than a party celebration. They are truly on your side and will help you make your dreams come true. Have you contacted them yet???

We had an amazing experience with Signature Affair! From start to finish, they went above and beyond to make sure that everything was perfect for our special day. Mimi was amazing at helping us navigate our food choices and décor. She was able to provide guidance on what would work best for our wedding while staying within our budget and helped us create a menu that was not only delicious, but also reflected our personal style. Mimi also gave us guidance on alcohol needs, which was incredibly helpful. But Mimi didn't stop there. She also helped with a variety of other non-caterer tasks at the wedding that helped it run smoothly. From helping us cut the cake to making sure that everything was on schedule, Mimi truly went above and beyond to make our day unforgettable. The entire catering team was so professional, friendly, and talented. The food was absolutely delicious (how could it not be with a chef on site!), and our guests couldn't stop raving about it! The team was able to create a cohesive menu that was both elegant and delicious, and everything was presented beautifully. Overall, we highly recommend Signature Affair to anyone looking for a talented and professional team to help bring their vision to life. I am the mother of the groom and the kids had chosen Mimi and Signature Affair for their wedding and reception. Mimi contacted me to insure all went well with rehearsal and rehearsal dinner. We hired another company to do the food but Mimi was right there the night of rehearsal insuring everything went well. She was very communicative with us and stepped in when we needed rentals and when the other company did not set the rehearsal space. Mimi showed early and set the tables and chairs herself. She went above and beyond and we were grateful for all the help and direction. The wedding and reception was very beautiful and went so smoothly. ( the food was amazing also). Bravo Mimi and staff!!!!

Mimi was the best decision we could have made for our wedding. We initially hired her for catering and when we found out she also coordinates weddings there was no question, we didn't need to look anywhere else. Her team along with her in-office coordinator, Lauri, were so accommodating and quick-on-their-feet with everything I asked of them. Mimi took care of the behind-the-scenes of all things coordinating when needed and the food was absolutely OUTSTANDING!! Guests were going back for seconds and thirds, even little ones were raving about how incredible it tasted. Mimi puts everything into her work and it resulted in the most amazing night for me and my husband. I hope to one day be able to work with her again, I couldn't recommend her enough!

Mimi and her team were amazing to work with while planning the October 1st wedding. Her creative innovation and fiscal awareness crafted a lovely outdoor wedding and high energy reception on the event grounds of The Barn at Countryside. The location requires a good amount of decor and design to bring a romantic wedding vision to life --- and she she nailed it! We hired her as the wedding coordinator, onsite event manager and the caterer and will use her again in the future. She is delightful, communicative and committed and we appreciated her from start to finish.

Mimi & her staff did a great job. Mimi is very organized, had great suggestions, & made sure everything went well. She said that she could be as much help as I needed her to be whether that was just the catering or if I needed her to do all the other coordinating she would be as much help as I needed her to be and she was. I would definitely recommend her & would work with her again. Food was presented well & was very, very good! We received many compliments.

Mimi and her team at Signature Affair were nothing less than amazing. They were always attentive and their attention to detail and thoroughness proved to be the key to my daughters wedding running so smoothly. The Signature Affair team was always timely in responding to our questions and needs and we felt supported throughout the entire planning process. The staff from Signature affair was amazing. I didn't feel the need to share my input with anything that was happening during our daughters wedding. Everything looked amazing, the banquet room and tables as well as the food looked beautiful. Thank you Signature Affair staff, I would recommend you to anyone who was planning an event.

Mimi and her team catered our wedding, and from the beginning, we knew made the right choice in hiring them. Mimi made us feel supported and heard the entire time. She listened to us, gave us guidance/advice, and made sure that every part of our day was absolutely perfect. We cannot recommend Signature Affair enough to anyone for any event, ever...they are literally the best in every way!!

Literally BOOK NOW! I am blown away by the CARE and COHESIVENESS of this company, Mimi Bass has an incredible team who made my wedding dreams come true. The absolute best part of our Wedding was having Mimi Bass part of it. Who else can keep 14 wedding party members on a timeline!? My entire wedding loved her, even my infant nieces and nephews… haha!!

Mimi Bass is AMAZING! I wish I could write 2 reviews for her because she was not only by caterer but also my wedding coordinator. She did everything in her power to make my wedding day special and she exceeded my expectations! Her food was amazing - the steak was so tender it melted in your mouth and my wedding guests are still raving/asking me about it days after the event. The mashed potatoes and mushroom bites were phenomenal as well. What is most amazing about Mimi is that she made me feel like I was her only bride. Months leading up to the wedding, her assistant, Lana, and her would check in on me weekly to make sure I didn't have any questions or need anything. She was also able to get a tent at the last minute to cover me and my guests on our 106 degree wedding day (Oregon in June, who knew?!). Mimi and her team have done nothing but impress me and my guests and I could not have asked for a better wedding coordinator or caterer.

Mimi and her team are amazing! First off the food was exceptional! Secondly, they changed our venue space over from the ceremony to the reception so quickly and made it looked beyond beautiful. Third, when we had to switch the timeline around all of a sudden, it all went off without a hitch. Truly an amazing job done! I completely recommend!

Mimi Bass and her team at Signature Affair are truly first class! Our wedding had a number of disasters and our guests hardly knew what was going on behind the scenes. I couldn’t recommend Signature Affair highly enough. We are already using them again for our company Christmas party. If you are getting married in the next 6-18 months reach out to Mimi right away! Mimi was not only our caterer but she was our wedding planner! I'm originally from OR but my husband and I currently live near Lake Tahoe, and as you can imagine planning a wedding out of state can add a lot more stress. Mimi helped me plan everything from the tables and chairs, to the food, and even got all of my other vendors contacts and coordinated with them take all of that planning and organizing off my hands. The day of my wedding I was the most calm and relaxed I had been since we started planning and was able to enjoy every second of the big day. Did I mention the food yet? We had family that was local as well as some that flew in from Michigan and everyone was raving about how amazing the food one, saying that it was not only the best food they have had at a wedding, but some of the best food they've had period! There was not one thing that we worried about, and we have so many amazing memories and I truly have Mimi and the entire crew at Signature Affair to thank! I can't recommend them more!!

Mimi and her team were amazing and made our day perfect. We had a few hiccups along the way and Mimi took care of everything and really took away all the stress. We don't know what we would do without Mimi. She was fast to communicate with us and answered all of our questions. This review is for Mimi Bass and her team for help with the Wedding Planning and Day-Of coordination for our big day. Unfortunately, our venue did not allow for outside catering, so we did not get to utilize those services. My husband and I actually met Mimi at a friend's wedding and were so impressed by how she managed everything while staying calm and in control. We reached out to her as soon as we got engaged...and it was one of the best decision we made for our wedding. Mimi is a professional, she knows it all. BUT, she is also very personable and one thing that stood out to us is, even though she may have other clients, you feel like you're the most important one. She makes time for you even if it's about something you feel might be insignificant. If it matters to you, it matters to her. We cannot sing her praises enough. Our Rehearsal and Wedding day was awesome. She thought of everything and had so many great suggestions: kids goodie bags with snacks and crafts, how to collect and store gifts, where the guestbook signing would get the most traffic, etc. We didn't worry about much at all on the day of our Wedding. Several of our guests commented on how they appreciated that the kids were considered. We had a lot of kids. That was Mimi, always thinking ahead. She made sure everyone was following the timeline. I cannot stress this enough, but timeline is so key and having the right person keeping people in check is important. She did this with excellence. She made sure we had a moment to ourselves to eat and made sure to have the staff pack us up togo food and wedding cake to eat when we got to the hotel. And..she sent us off with our signed/polaroid guestbook. She suggested that we might need a little more hands on deck and trusted her to bring her right-hand gal and this was the BEST decision. My husband is a Type 1 Diabetic and we were worried that in the chaos, he might forget to check (who would carry his test kit?) and end up being hypoglycemic from the stress. Her staff member was on it and came on the dot when my husband needed to check. I cannot say thank you enough to Mimi and her team, they really are outstanding and I highly recommend them. Side note regarding cost: worth every penny and Mimi is very fair. Contact her, you won't regret it.

Absolutely amazing caterer! Mimi the owner was our personal chef and we couldn't have asked for a better meal for my sisters wedding! She gave us exactly what we asked for which was a simple but elegant plated dinner for 25 guests and the service was impeccable! Staff was so incredibly friendly and attentive! Would absolutely in a heart beat recommend them to anyone who asks for any type of event! And we will use them again for sure!

I once worked for Mimi so I immediately knew who I could 100% trust to coordinate our wedding. Mimi is professional and flexible. She brings dedicated expertise to event planning and catering while working alongside clients to ensure that the execution coincides with their vision. A Signature Affair catering is PHENOMENAL, not only do all the food and drinks look delicious, it tastes even better. I cannot recommend Mimi and A Signature Affair enough, we had an amazing experience with them!!!

We did not have a wedding planner for our wedding, but Mimi basically acted as that. We are so thankful for her time before the wedding to walk us through what was needed and time frame to get those things done. Also appreciated was her willingness to work with us to bring down the price of event through do-it-yourself options. Day of the event, yes, had much stress involved and Mimi and her staff were ready to shoulder the burden of making the whole event happen. That meant running off to get the cake first thing in the morning, going to the store to buy a bit more wine, and making the venue even more accommodating and beautiful for the guests. Her staff made everyone feel at home, whisked food/drink around seamlessly, and made sure the event fit to the schedule that was needed. Signature Affair always acts with high integrity and left the venue cleaner than it was when they arrived. I would definitely use Signature Affair for a small or large party, regardless of whether it is casual or a very formal atmosphere. I have seen them rise to all occasions. You absolutely will not be disappointed in Signature affair! Every vendor I worked with has heard of Mimi from Signature affair and had such positive things to say about them. Our wedding turned out spectacular because of them and my guest are still raving about the delicious food and outstanding service. The services they provide go above and beyond what a typical caterer would offer! They are an all-encompassing wedding provider. Signature affair assisted me with consultations, planning, rentals, day of event coordinating, set up, tear down and the list goes on... Mimi took the time to meet with me and really get a feeling of how I wanted my wedding. She wanted to cater everything to what my fiancé and I had envisioned. From there she continually checked up on me throughout the planning phase. Always there to give me her input and suggestions on what needed to happen next to make sure things were on track. I never had a moment where I felt like I could not get in touch with her either through email or phone. On the day of the wedding things were better than I could have imagined. Especially the feeling of showing up to your venue and seeing all your plans come together. Signature affair was able to be the main point of contact for my vendors to ensure everything happens according to what I had planned. Mimi and her staff took care of some many things behind the scenes. When I was having too much fun she would be there to make sure I was on track with my timeline. Who wants to stress out on the day of their wedding and miss all the important events of the day? Mimi gave me the peace of mind so I could enjoy myself and not worry about the little intricacies of coordinating everything. The whole wedding was beyond my expectations.
