ths after the wedding to sign an NDA to remove my previous and honest review, in exchange for monetary compensation (that originally we didn’t ask for) Not only have we been asked to sign an NDA in violation of FTC laws so that my review did not affect their five star rating. Meredith, wrote a public response to my review stating that our review was one a vendors that her staff did not get along with instead of the brides review. She lied about my guests experiences and ours blaming several things that went wrong on the bride and other vendors that her staff (the day of coordinator that she hired for our wedding) bullied throughout the planning process. My husband and I are aware that not everything goes right on the day of the wedding and we were understanding throughout the day even though multiple things went wrong and were brought to our attention. (Ex. Forgot the brides veil, parents & bridesmaids were sat by the bar and buffet in the back instead of the tables by the bride and groom, her staff and assistant left a photo in our wedding booth intentionally covering up “best wedding ever sign” that all of our guests saw, along with several other events listed on our original review & others that were not). Meredith wrote her response as though she was at the wedding even though she was not and claimed these events were the brides fault, or her vendors fault. She publicly libeled my husband and brides name when she discussed a financial event that we were sueing our previous venue that Fell through due to Covid (Bride is a nurse who had to work through Covid. The venue was renovating on the proposed postponement date and the previous venue kept their money) Meredith offered her consultation willingly and then left a response to my review discussing this information. She blamed the chaos of the day and timing as the brides fault even though the wedding started as discussed by the bride and the day of coordinator. With many out of state guests we intentionally discussed having the ceremony start 15-20 mins later than invitation start time so everyone had a chance to make it. She blamed my bridesmaids for issues that happened regarding repacking the food from the caterer and she blamed my venue and my husband and I for not having our bar on the preferred vendor list even though my husband and I discussed this with permission from the owner prior to signing our contract. She blamed hair and makeup for timing issues (which was not the case) and my MOH even tried to talk to the coordinator about being with me getting ready and not seating parents and bridal party in the back of the wedding & she did not listen to her. She blamed our guests being cold on our designer not putting out all of the blankets instead of just asking if we had more (which we did) and tried to defame her by saying she was frantically looking for decorations before the wedding (which I gave her creative freedom to do whatever she liked - so she was going above and beyond for her creative thoughts, not because she didn’t have what I wanted) After several days of the harassment and false defamatory response to our review on the bride groom and their other vendors we finally asked for our money back. She refused unless we signed an NDA and threatened further action on us and my vendors.

hat my wedding is over, I really miss working with Meredith! We could not have had a better time at our wedding if we tried - a friend texted me a few days later and said "your wedding was the most fun I've ever seen you have" and it was all thanks to Meredith and her team at Significant Events of Texas. She made the planning process so easy, from recommending the best vendors to work with to keeping everything organized and on time. We did not worry about one single thing on our wedding day - she took care of everything beautifully and even as things came up (example, my veil getting left at the hotel!) they were handled immediately and without us having to think about them. PS, the veil was delivered to the church 15 mins after we remembered it was forgotten by a member of Meredith's team - talk about life savers. We had plenty of time to eat dinner which people will tell you won't happen at your wedding but they obviously didn't have Meredith as their planner ;) she also made sure our glasses were full all night long and brought us snacks and desserts as we danced so we never had to leave the dance floor, which I didn't except to cut the cake. There really aren't enough words to explain how wonderful I think Meredith is and how good she is at her job - I hope you will hire her to plan your wedding or your next event because I can guarantee you will thank me afterwards!

Elizabeth took over as the day of coordinator and went above and beyond the contract to make sure we were well acquainted and that she knew what my parents and I wanted. The wedding day came and and things out of everyone's control went a bit awry. One of the biggest things was I felt really sick immediately after my ceremony and before the reception. Elizabeth made sure I was completely taken care of. I spent some time away from the guest recovering, which knocked the time-table off schedule. Because we had Elizabeth, my guests didn't notice anything was off and the vendors were all taken care of and knew what was happening so they could adjust. There are so many thoughtful details I could give - for example, Elizabeth made sure my dinner was packed and sent in my go-bag because I felt so sick I couldn't eat anything at dinner. When I recovered my appetite much later, I was still able to enjoy the food I had been so excited about. The rest of the night, Elizabeth worked very hard to ensure that our carefully formed plan for the evening was adjusted to fit the situation and take care of me. Before getting married, I would have told my friends I'm not sure people need a coordinator. I'm much more of a do-it-yourself kind of gal. After my experience with Meredith and Elizabeth, and particularly, after my experience at my wedding, I would swear up and down that a coordinator is essential. This company will be the difference between a stressful, hectic event and a wonderful memory of your wedding day.

Even though our package was just for the day of the wedding, she helped us reach out to the vendors to discuss the change of wedding date. She also offered to reach out to the guests and offered solutions on 'change the date' cards (if needed). She really understood how overwhelmed we were given the ambiguity of the situation. This really shows that she goes beyond set expectations which makes her a great wedding planner. On the wedding day, everything went great! She made sure everything was on time. We were able to relax and enjoy our day. She even managed my little flower girls so well when they were having a melt down just before walking the aisle, she helped me change in my second outfit for the reception, she made sure we had drinks in our hands during our reception. These are only few small things that I have mentioned here and I appreciate her for it but I'm sure she has done more behind the scenes to make it all work perfect for us! It was definitely a long road with Covid and postponing the wedding, but we are thankful that Meredith helped us get through it all. We couldn’t have done it without her! She was great with attention to details, reports, follow up, and evolving with situations which is a huge plus and makes it easier for the bride and groom. She is just awesome. She is a joy to work with and I would recommend her to anyone based on how smoothly everything went both leading up to and the day of our wedding. She was professional, punctual, readily available, and always had a solution or advice. We got married on March 21, 2020 and 6 days before the wedding, the Covid lockdown started and we had to postpone our large wedding reception. She immediately helped us contact all the vendors to find a new date (which we ended up having to postpone again and Sarah was completely on top of it the second time around too). The trauma of postponement when we were so close to our big day was rough and Sarah and Meredith were so sweet checking in on us and offering pick-me-up treats throughout the tough year. It was such a relief to have Sarah contact the vendors for me during the tough time and offered to help in any way she could. She was readily available to chat anytime I needed to bounce ideas off of her or get suggestions. When our big day finally arrived, on March 20, 2021, Sarah was on top of everything the week leading up to the celebration and it made me feel so incredibly calm and excited that I didn't have to fret about anything logistically. I loved that both myself and my mom got to fully enjoy the day without having to worry about any of the little things, i.e. picking up lunch, coordinating vendor arrival times, keeping things on schedule, delivering all of our items back to the hotel room after the event, and about a million other things that Sarah managed perfectly that day. Several of the other vendors we hired expressed their happiness that we were working with Significant Events of Texas, so I know their reputation is great amongst the industry as well. If anything went wrong day of, I certainly didn't know about it, which is exactly what every bride hopes for on their big day! If you are a planner type person, but you want to enjoy everything come to life exactly as you pictured with zero worry day of, hire Sarah!!
