I hired Erin as my day of coordinator for my recent June wedding. Erin was communicative, helpful in so many ways, reasonably priced and delivers for her brides and grooms!! She took all of my stress away and provided services more than just "day of" coordination. She assisted me with meeting with my venue a few times to ensure clarity and that I wasn't missing anything that needed to be discussed. She provided décor such as table vases/card holder/etc and she did ALL the flower arrangements for our ceremony, tables, bouquets and boutineers!! She also personally made these sweet name tags for mine and my husbands immediate family members that had seating arrangements and they loved them! She also kept in close communication with all my other vendors too. This was all on top of her regular coordination duties for the day of. She responded quickly anytime I had a question and made my wedding vision come to life. She truly went above and beyond and is amazing at what she does. I highly recommend Erin and Silver Fern Events for your upcoming wedding in Western NC! Thank you a million times to you and your team for what you did for Adam and I!!! When we hired Silver Fern Events for our comprehensive wedding planner and florist, we were expecting a planner who would handle all of the details necessary for planning a wedding. She assisted with finding several vendors for us, including our cake baker, hair/makeup, photographer, and set up our hotel blocks. Her assistant was helpful during the wedding to retrieve special request items (our checkbook at the hotel and cigars for the reception). The wedding venues that she recommended did not ultimately meet our vision. We had to make a rushed trip during the week to Asheville from Raleigh to scope out venues on our own – ultimately finding our venue ourselves. She created a timeline/to-do list for the weeks and months leading up to the wedding, however we felt like we had to keep ourselves on schedule instead of the schedule being kept by our planner. When it came down to the day of the wedding, several things did not go as expected and several of our instructions were not followed. Due to a miscommunication between Silver Fern Events and our photographer, instead of having a plan for us and our wedding party to arrive at the venue ahead of our guests, we were placed on the shuttle with our guests. This was frustrating as we really didn’t want to be seen prior to the start of the ceremony. We had explicitly asked that all of our guests be mixed in and that empty rows be filled in due to uneven numbers of family members for each of our sides. Instead, we had two empty front rows which can clearly be seen in some of our photos. We expressed how important finding a professional priest was to us, but instead we were recommended a formerly practicing priest (who, to our understanding, was a family acquaintance) who we ended up excusing about two weeks before the wedding. We then had to scramble to find a new priest at the last minute on our own. For our floral arrangements and decorations, our vision and what we asked for were not really met. Some of the floral details requested were missing (despite us paying the venue extra for chandeliers that were supposed to be covered in lush greenery but weren’t) and name cards for our head table were randomly placed in a way that did not match our seating chart/wedding party. We were told that any additional decorations needed would be purchased by our planner and she would keep them for future use, however we ended up paying for the extra decorations that she kept rather than providing them to us after the wedding or reimbursing the cost. The floral decorations were minimal, which wasn’t what we had expected/discussed, and one of the grooms’ boutonnieres was smashed. When this was brought up, there was no backup plan and we just had to use the smashed boutonniere. Details were missed and follow-ups for things did not occur. We had to provide several reminders throughout the process that would likely have been forgotten otherwise. During the wedding, we felt like we had to keep time despite this being the planner’s responsibility. Overall, we were dissatisfied with the services we received from Silver Fern Events.

Erin was great to work with in the months leading up to the wedding! Her communication & responsiveness were great, which helped ease some of our wedding planning stress. Additionally, her stockpile of decor fit our theme and vibe perfectly. The day before our wedding, she took on the task of turning our super flattened & bland dry florals, that we purchased through a different vendor, and turned them into an amazing arrangement! If you are looking to have someone take care of our day of decorating wedding needs, Erin is a great option!

Since the first time we talked to Erin on Zoom we knew she was our girl! She excels in elegance and simultaneously still has so much fun! Her vision will only enhance your dream wedding. Erin listens, gives feedback, advise, and has a world of knowledge, ideas, wedding enhancements and experience to share. She is very quick to respond to emails and is happy to make time for you and your partner. When she couldn't get the flowers we wanted, because they were not in season, she found us the most beautiful alternative. I can honestly say it was better than my original choice in flowers. THIS WOMAN KNOWS FLOWERS!!! Our wedding went off without any hitches and Rich and I don't know what we would have done without her there. Stress free wedding and so fun to work with! Thank you Erin.

Erin is simply amazing! We hires Erin as our day of coordinator for our June wedding and she was so much more. Our day was so magical and she was the one who made it all come together. She checked in months before the wedding, then on the wedding week and put everything together seamlessly. I gave her my inspiration photo ans she made every moment 1000 times better. Definitely recommend her.

Erin is AMAZING!! Before we even hired her she gave us several recommendations for our venue (one of which ended up being our final pick). She understood exactly the type of wedding we were going for and walked us through everything. We hired her to help with overall planning and coordination, which was great because I needed someone to tell me to calm down when I was getting panicky about missing self-imposed deadlines haha she was always available to talk when I needed her throughout the planning process. I also appreciated her honesty about the things we didn’t need based on the overall theme/vibe. Her vendor recommendations were ON POINT, and saved us so much heartache and stress. The day of the wedding she was in 19374 places at once, but every time we would say her name she would appear (no joke, it almost got scary how she’d pop up when we needed her). Oh, and she does floral too! She took care of so many things, and managed everyone and everything effortlessly. I had the most perfect day, thanks in large part to Erin!

We hired Erin with Silver Fern Events as our wedding coordinator, creative director, and floral designer for our May 28, 2022 wedding in Newland, NC and she did an amazing job. Our wedding was unique in the sense that it was a backyard wedding at a private family home for over 100 guests, something that had never been done before at the house! Erin was by our side through the 15-month+ planning process, helping source vendors for tent and equipment rentals, helping us identify our creative vision, and bringing it all to life with her gorgeous design, including florals, decor, and signage. Erin listened to us and understood our priorities for our wedding from day one. Considering that we had a destination wedding about 1.5 hours from Asheville, Erin's home base, she went above and beyond to make sure she had the best understanding of our vision, all the while taking on multiple roles to make it happen, including venue coordinator, wedding planner, creative designer, and therapist. She created a positive, comforting, and calm environment for both of us and our wedding party members on our wedding day. I'm sure there were some kinks on the day of, but we had no idea because Erin and her team handled everything with grace and professionalism. By the end of our time together, I was able to say goodbye to Erin with happy tears knowing that we had developed a friendship out of our initial partnership. I cannot recommend Erin and Silver Fern Events enough.

WOW! WOW! WOW! Erin and her team gave us our dream wedding! She was so communicative, transparent, organized and so incredibly kind. We had a destination wedding in Asheville at GPI on 4/30/22 and she had all the best recommendations of local vendors. Also her floral design is UNMATCHED- our wedding decor was STUNNING and everything we could have asked for. If they are available , you must absolutely hire them for your wedding!!

I got married this past weekend and Erin was my day of coordinator at my wedding. She is the absolute best! From the first time I spoke to her on the phone during my search for a coordinator, I instantly knew she was the one! Even before the day of, she did a site visit with me when I travelled to NC for my tasting and answered all of my questions via email during the process. The weekend of my wedding she was there making sure everything went smoothly and to plan. She even got me a few last minute items I totally forgot about! In short, if you need a wedding coordinator in the Asheville area, look no further! I couldn't imagine getting through my wedding day without her!

If you are reading this, you might be wondering if you need a wedding coordinator or planner and the answer is YES! And, if you are so lucky that Erin is available, HIRE HER!!!! You will not be disappointed, in fact, I think your expectations will even be exceeded upon working with her! I myself was in the "no way do I need a wedding coordinator" boat, until I realized, oh crap I really can't execute our wedding day on my own. I reluctantly spoke with coordinators just to explore options should I cave and hire someone. I talked to several coordinators and wasn’t particularly impressed, until I talked to Erin. She was warm, kind, funny, passionate about her work and obviously talented. I decided right then to hire her both for coordination and floral design, and it was the best money we spent and the best decision we made for our wedding. Erin made herself available to us throughout the wedding planning process and was always happy to answer questions, tweak designs and lend advice on all of the decisions that have to be made during the planning process. I knew Erin was amazing, but then when our venue pulled some crazy stuff on us 3 weeks before our wedding, I called Erin and she dropped what she was doing and went straight to the venue to sort it out. That’s just the level of commitment Erin makes to each of her clients. I told her constantly that she was an angel and a lifesaver, because she is. On our wedding day, what Erin actually executed for us was beyond what we could have ever dreamed or hoped. Erin made our day absolutely perfect in every way. Her attention to detail, the little surprises she incorporated into our design, her attentiveness, her always-goes-the-extra-mile-ness (if that’s even a thing) made our wedding day like magic. I cannot recommend Erin highly enough and feel so lucky we got to work with her.

Erin with Silver Fern Events is without a doubt who you want leading your team on your big day. To say that she will go above and beyond- would be an understatement. If you are like me and think- do i even need a wedding planner? I am pretty good at planning. Isn't everything pretty much set already set on the wedding day? You do. It may not be clear to you until you are in it, but you really really do. I am not a very emotional person and Erin saved me from so many tears/breakdowns as many things that were out of our control went sideways. Her raw talent is spectacular, she took the time to understand our vision and brought it to life in an even more spectacular way than we could have imagined. We had Erin as our florist too, her genius runs deep and wide! You never know the unforeseen changes and challenges you may meet along the wedding planning process (and we had manyyy), Erin was unflappable and compassionate. With each challenge, she had a quick solution and reassuring words. This is combination of incredible skill and emotional intellect is exactly what you want in a wedding planner. It is a rarity to have the opportunity to work with someone who has such a command of their profession, a genius of their field. Erin is an expert at her work. She holds her self to a very high standard- with her attention to detail, she leaves not one overlooked aspect. If you are fortunate enough to have her available on your day, book her. Right now. You 100% will not regret it.

I really cannot say enough about Erin. Because of her, my partner and I were able to be fully present for the entirety of our wedding weekend. We knew we had planned sufficiently and that Erin would step up to handle anything that came our way. I cannot express to you what a gift that was. Hands down— The best wedding decision we made was booking Erin. Initially, when our wedding venue made us hire a Day of Coordinator/ Wedding Planner we naively felt like we didn’t *need* that service (man, were we wrong). I reluctantly reached out to a few planners and coordinators and received a handful of automated (and often delayed responses) but Erin was so unique in her approach. The first email I got back from her, I was like, yeppp. This is who I want to hire. By the time I got her on the phone, I was like, wow, she’s so cool. I want to be friends with her. I seriously count my lucky stars that she had our date available and that she came into our life. Throughout the planning process, she was incredibly responsive and personable. In addition to being a generally lovely person, she is organized, considerate, and creative. I had a “first look” at the decor before the wedding and I was literally brought to tears. Erin poured her heart and soul into our event and transformed our venue into an upscale bohemian dream. There were things I wanted but I thought they’d live forever on my Pinterest board. She. Made. It. Happen. That’s the kind of person she is. Erin was always conscious of our budget and yet nothing about our wedding came off as “budget”. I’m rambling here so I’ll get to the point. I cannot express my unending gratitude for Erin. She was stellar. So thoughtful, so organized and she was truly everything I needed. I always felt she was advocating for me. I am so thankful I found her. The day would not have been nearly as simple and effortless. She truly listened and got stuff done! I definitely recommend hiring her.

Erin is a true professional and a true expert in her industry. We hired Erin for our destination wedding in Lake Lure, NC. She made the process so seamless and magical. Erin did an amazing job planning our wedding. We felt very confident having her as our coordinator, especially when dealing with confusing vendors because she was such a strong advocate for us. She was thorough, meticulous, and organized. My partner and I didn't have strong preferences about most things (colors, flowers, table settings, etc) so she was able to guide our choices by presenting a variety of options for basically everything. We know she could have made anything look great! She planned things far in advance and I felt comfortable with the timeline she presented for accomplishing the various required tasks. She has a lot of experience and it showed. She was always willing to reach out to other vendors and put us in touch with her contacts in the wedding industry. Sadly we had to cancel our wedding due to the pandemic but we know it would have been great because of all the effort Erin put into planning!! Highly recommend Silver Fern Events.

Erin is absolutely amazing! She is so patient, thoughtful, and creative and I truly loved working with her. She set up my reception hall so beautifully and worked so hard to make everything look perfect. I had a lot of ideas and a clear vision of how I wanted things to look and she brought it all to life. She was always very quick to respond to my many questions and made me feel so comfortable with the entire process. She made the experience so much fun for me and for that I’m forever grateful. I would recommend her to anyone needing a wedding planner!

Erin is the most supportive, understanding and accommodating planner! She truly looks out for the couples she works with and always keeps their sanity and best interests at heart. We ended up cancelling our event in the Asheville area due to downsizing the wedding and doing the event closer to home but Erin was extremely professional and understanding throughout that process. She has the ability to very quickly become like an old friend and I am extremely sad to not be able to continue on our wedding adventure with Erin by our side! Would recommend to anyone and everyone!!

Nothing but the best from Erin! She was so personable, easily accessible, and a true guide through probably the craziest day of my life. From the first phone call I knew she would be the perfect fit for my husband and me. On the day prior to the wedding she came and helped us decide on plan A, B, C, and probably D, about where to get married based on the ever changing weather. And then on the day of our wedding she created the most beautiful table setting and center pieces, even better then I had envisioned. She also made two beautiful bouquets for our alter that we hadn’t planned on and I’m so glad she did! She was able to be firm in her decisions and knew exactly what I wanted, and then turned it into so much more! Probably only answered five questions on my wedding day because of her, she was perfect. She was incredibly intelligent and creative in her craft, so happy to have met her. Highly recommend Erin and her team!

We interviewed and met Erin recently for her partial planning service. She was incredibly patient and helpful throughout our decision-making process. We found her very easy to talk to, relatable, and thorough. We really enjoyed meeting her, and the pictures of her flowers are beautiful. I’d recommend her to anyone searching for a planner in Asheville!

I can’t imagine having to plan my wedding without Erin’s help! She was with me every step of the way from finding the perfect venue, to helping me sort through rental contracts, and making sure my tables looked just right as guests were arriving! Erin helped me to create a realistic budget for my wedding while taking my hopes and dreams for my big day into consideration. I was totally overwhelmed by all of the little things you have to do leading up to a wedding but she created a detailed monthly plan with me to ensure we stayed on track. When we ran into challenges with the owner of the event venue, Erin was an amazing advocate and ensured everything went smoothly on my wedding day. She also has an amazing aesthetic and helped me to fine tune my vision of my wedding. She had so many amazing ideas and worked hard to make it all fit in my budget! Overall, Erin was incredibly organized and kind when I needed it most. She took so much stress away and created the most beautiful day for my husband and I to celebrate with our families.
