1000% recommend this venue. I figured something would go wrong because no venue is perfect but this one might actually be perfect. I have no complaints. Amy the planner/ coordinator was helpful, patient, kind and insightful. The waiters/ waitresses were polite and efficient. The decorations were exactly how I wanted them. The food was amazing. The landscape was beautiful and well kept. Literally everything was great and stress free AND affordable. I am so happy I found this venue and will always recommend.

We had our bridal shower at Silver Lake in February, and it was so nice! The brunch buffet is delicious. All of our guests loved the food. The space was so pretty and ideal for our group, and everyone we worked with was incredibly helpful. I can't wait to attend a friend's wedding here this fall!

If you are looking for a budget friendly venue with gorgeous outdoor gardens, amazing food, space for all of your guests, AND an amazing team of people who have planned so many events they make it seamless for you? Then look no further because THIS is your venue site. After combing through over 30 venues and their budget breakdowns Silver Lake was one that made it to our top 3; and their accommodations, perks for out-of-season weddings, and overall budget made this the place for us financially. The visit though, is what sold us. The gardens and surrounding landscape are kept at an immaculate standard. The food was incredible; I still have guests to this day telling me how amazing the food was. And they have multiple ways to set up rooms in order to accommodate just about any number of guests and to make your day perfect. But Amy and her crew are by far the brightest star on this review. Amy and her crew are all wonderful people with many years of experience who know how to make your day go as smooth sailing as you could ever imagine. Her communication is amazing; it didn't matter what day or how many questions I had, she was readily available and extremely understanding. Weddings are always stressful to plan but Amy is like your best friend telling you "Don't worry about it! You've got this and I've got your back". I personally had my DJ drop out on me just a month before my wedding and I PANICKED. First person I thought would be able to help was Amy; she sent me the list of DJ's the venue has worked with before and within 5 days I had another DJ booked. Amy and her crew will answer all of your questions, calm all of your nerves, find every solution to any problem, and do it in such a way that you wonder why you even stressed about it in the first place. The scenery, the food, the space, and the budget speak for themselves; its truly an immaculate location that is priced more reasonably than most venues, especially country clubs. But Amy and her team take care of you as if you are one of their own family members getting married there and that is something you just cannot find anywhere else. I truly cannot express how grateful I am to Amy and everyone else at Silver Lake for all of their support, care, kindness leading up to and during my amazing wedding day. You all made my day flawless.

We got married here on 9/15/23 and are so happy with our decision! Amy, Janene, Jeff, and the entire staff are amazing to work with. We always knew we could email / call about different questions and they would respond immediately with great advice and insights. We had the east ballroom, so our ceremony was down near the water, and it was all absolutely gorgeous! There are so much greenery and flowers throughout the entire place, that we didn’t even buy flowers for the ceremony. The price for the value you receive at Silver Lake made the decision even easier.

I don't even know where to begin with describing Silver Lake! Amy and Janene were so incredibly helpful from the start. I was a very anxious bride and Amy made sure I felt comfortable every step of the way. They truly know what they're doing in terms of coordinating a beautiful wedding. From our first tour, we saw how beautiful the grounds were, and how professional the staff was. Booking and choosing our menu was so easy. They checked in prior to the wedding at just the right times, and answered my millions of questions without hesitation. The day of was absolutely perfect. The locker room is great for getting ready, Amy kept us on track in terms of timeline (this woman even helped me bustle my dress- for a while!!!), the food was AMAZING and the pictures came out fantastic. At night, the whole courtyard was lit up beautifully. We have had so many compliments on our venue. Brides, if you're looking for an all inclusive, easy, beautiful, and affordable venue, I can't recommend Silver Lake Country Club enough.

We were married here on 7/16/22 and had the best experience! Amy and Janene were more than helpful to make things incredibly clear and smooth from start to finish; we always knew what to expect and they were available anytime to answer questions or provide guidance when I needed it. Our guests raved about how good the food was, the ceremony site and the grounds were gorgeous for the perfect background. Getting ready there the day of also was super easy, the women's locker room was perfect for us to bring in hair/makeup. Definitely recommend this venue!

This venue is beautiful! I had my ceremony outside in the garden and then reception inside. The location, scenery, food, and staff was everything I could have every asked for. They know exactly what they are doing, I brought little accent pieces to be placed throughput my space and I could not have been happier with how beautifully they set it all up for me.

Silver Lake was literally the best venue from the second we walked through the door. We had visited many other vendors but Silver Lake was unmatched in their service from the get go. They were recommended by multiple friends who also had an amazing experience. They were accommodating every step of the way, their list of vendors made many parts of the wedding planning process easy, and their food was delicious. Our photos as well as our guests photos came out incredible. I feel like a lot of people say they wouldn’t redo their wedding but Silver Lake is a huge reason we would do it again in a heartbeat.

We had our wedding at Silver Lake in June of 2022! We were so happy with them from start to finish and their prices can’t be beat! I felt like I had my own wedding planner because Amy was so helpful with planning and organizing our day. The food was amazing and we had great bar service throughout the evening. We are even looking into using Silver Lake for a baby shower because we were so happy with our wedding day.

I had the pleasure of having my wedding at Silver Lake on 07.10.22 and to say I made the best decision choosing this venue would be an understatement. Amy and her staff did an awesome job making sure our special day was all I imagined it would be. My guests are still talking about how great the food and the bartenders were 5 months later. Amy took the ease and worry away from me with planning & preparing for my wedding by guiding me every step of the way. Her & her staff really took the place of an actual wedding coordinator by making sure everything was in place and went as planned. Due to the size of my wedding party & guests list, I decided to rent both East and West garden areas for my reception and the ceremony was outside the garden facility. My husband and I had our wedding reception at Silver Lake on 11/12/22. I can honestly say that our wedding was everything we could imagine and more! Amy and her staff were very helpful and informative throughout the process. They are very transparent with no hidden fees! We loved our bartender Tony who was very attentive and creative! The staff went out of their way to make us feel special such as putting a tray of appetizers off to the side for us and setting up the room just the way we wanted it. We are still getting rave reviews from family and friends about the food, staff and beautiful location. 10/10 would get married here again (although I’m 100% sold on my guy!).

Amy and staff we amazing every step of the way. We had our wedding ceremony and reception at Silver Lake and it went flawlessly because Amy and everyone there knows how to run an event! We had our ceremony on the lakeside location and it was beautifully maintained and a perfect place to be married. The reception and dinner were amazing. Our guests loved the food and continue to talk about how amazing the food was. Amy and staff were very accommodating to our special requests and was very helpful during the planning process. You can tell Silver Lakes has been doing weddings successfully for a long time. Our wedding day was perfect and that was thanks to Silver Lake!

It is hard to beat the price of this venue and the location. The food was a 7/10, which is okay for the price. It might have been the night of our wedding, but we felt it was understaffed because there was a wedding next door and our service people spent more time there than at our wedding. Also, the walls are not that sound-proof: we heard the loud music from the wedding in the next room. Amy is a pleasure to work with, she is very fast at responding and will cater to your every need. The outdoor space where the ceremony was held was very beautiful and everything was set up nicely for us.

Silver Lake was absolutely wonderful to work with! They helped out with all of our questions and was able to provide most accommodations, such as decorations and catering, in addition to the venue itself. There was a wide selection of customizations in terms of food to help feed every one of our guests, including those with dietary restrictions. There was a bridal room that allowed us to get ready together in a smooth and pleasurable fashion. Highly recommend Silver Lake and I'm very happy were able to work with them to make our night as perfect as it could be.

We got married here on 10/8/22 in the East garden room. The lakeside ceremony site was beautiful. The staff were amazing and made sure everything ran smoothly. Amy made sure that you had everything you needed and was always able to answer all questions. Food was also amazing, especially the ruben egg rolls!!! I have already recommend this venue to multiple newly engaged friends

Our wedding was on 8/6/22, we had both rooms and the ceremony was by the lake. This was hands down the best experience ever! Amy made me feel Soo special from the very beginning. She walked me through every single thing and made my life so easy! The day of the wedding she handled everything. The kids in the wedding party were getting antsy during family pics after the ceremony and she put them all on a golf cart and went riding up and down hills she literally did everything in her power to make this the best day! The venue is all around a beautiful place! I'm so happy we chose them for our wedding I would choose them over and over!

When deciding a venue for our wedding, the biggest factor was having staff that would make our day as easy as possible. This made Silver Lake not only the first but the best choice, knowing that they set the standard for customer service in the Chicagoland Southwest Suburbs. The staff kept our event running seamlessly from start to finish, particularly Amy. From testing polaroid cameras to reminding me to bustle my dress to even stepping in with a mic when our DJ had to step out, she went above and beyond, and she is just an example of the service we received from the entire staff at Silver Lake. They're incredible and just who you want by your side on your biggest day.

Amy and Janene were so incredible to work with throughout the entire process. Our initial wedding date was supposed to be at the beginning of COVID and they were always on top of keeping us posted on the latest updates of what we were/weren't allowed. After we ultimately made the tough decision to postpone the wedding for a year, they were nothing less that incredibly supportive and made the date transition so easy. From the days leading up to our wedding, Amy and Janene were so patient at answering all my last minute panic questions and made our day absolutely perfect. Even the staff on the day of the event was absolutely amazing and extremely helpful. All our guests had such great things to say about all the staff, bartenders, and of course the food (we had a lot of people with food restrictions and those with the restrictions also raved about the food they were served). Would HIGHLY recommend Silver Lake to anyone!

My husband and I LOVED Silver Lake. The staff were amazingly helpful and easy to work with. We were able to come to them with any questions, thoughts, or ideas and they were always willing to help out. The food was AMAZING. We got married on October 30th and our guests are still talking about how great the food is. I could not recommend Silver Lake more.

My husband and I chose SLCC because of how much they provided for the wedding, the beautiful pond location, lovely greenery, the amazing wedding team they have to assist us with wedding details, and most of all Amy!! Amy was an absolute delight week of, day before and day of. When I say she gets shit done, she. gets. shit. done. Our ceremony was at the pond (very beautiful) and had the reception at the East Garden (wait till you see it at night it is STUNNING!!).

This venue was absolutely everything we were looking for! Their outdoor spaces and gardens were absolutely beautiful for all of our photos and would have been gorgeous for the ceremony (had it not rained!) Even though we had to move inside due to the rain they were so accommodating with the last minute changes and set up everything up incredibly beautiful inside. Amy was fantastic to work with and made the whole experience fun and easy! Honestly cannot recommend them enough! We are so glad we found them for our wedding!!

Best venue ever! We had to reschedule because of covid and there was no issue whatsoever doing so. Amy and team made the planning process fun and enjoyable, especially with last minute details. Everything went smoothly, food was amazing. They accommodated every request. We had the best day from beginning to end.

We had the perfect wedding at Silver Lake on June 26. We had both the reception and the ceremony there. It ended up pouring rain all day and the staff quickly adjusted to make our indoor ceremony as beautiful as the outdoor. Everyone is so helpful and easy to work with. Our experience was amazing!

We had the perfect wedding at Silver Lake. The venue is b e a u t i f u l with the windows and the garden area outside. The pictures are gorgeous on the golf course during sunset. Our guests raved about the food (the twice baked potatoes and chicken were out of this world!) Not to mention, the DRINKS WERE AMAZING! The bar tenders were whipping up great cocktails and so friendly and funny. The martinis were to die for. This process is overwhelming, but the staff (we worked mostly with Amy, but this extends to EVERY server, bartender, etc.) was so helpful and happy to answer any questions and ease our anxiety. With COVID, they answered our questions and concerns while being transparent and keeping us up to date with regulations. Also, THE STAFF DECORATED for us! We had pretty simple decor with pictures for reference and the set up was more than I ever could have imagined. 10/10 recommend Silver Lake. It took us 10 minutes to decide this was the venue of our dreams. The price may be overwhelming, but in the grand scheme of things, you’re paying for great food, superb drinks, helpful staff, and the greatest day/night of your life.

We're so glad we had our wedding reception at Silver Lake! The staff was so friendly every time we visited. Amy and Janene were a pleasure to work with and had an answer for every question I had. They were also kind enough to allow us to get ready in the locker room (much nicer than it sounds) even though we were planning to leave the property for the ceremony. We had our reception in the West Garden room, and it was beautiful! Even with no decor, the room itself has a whole wall of windows, wood beams, and an outdoor patio space with a garden and trees wrapped in fairy lights. I gave them very little instruction about how to set up the decor we brought, and they fulfilled my vision perfectly! I have absolutely nothing bad to say about my experience at Silver Lake and I would absolutely choose them all over again!

We had our wedding reception at Silver Lake and it was absolutely wonderful. Amy and Janene was so easy to work with and very accommodating. They were so friendly and genuinely excited for us getting married, that it felt like they were family. I am amazed on how smoothly everything went and how non stressful they made the reception. The food was outstanding and so many guests have since told us they loved the food and that it was the best food they have ever had at a wedding reception before. The outside area was pretty and had good places to take photos. Both bartenders were so attentive, but want to give a special shout out to Tony since he was on my family's side of the room- so nice, quick, made great drinks, and remembered what everyone ordered. All of the staff were pleasant and hardworking. Silver Lake truly made my wedding day outstanding and memorable.

My husband and I had both our ceremony and reception at Silver Lake in September 2021 and it was an amazing day. Amy and Janene were absolutely wonderful to work with! It was easy to communicate with them and get our questions answered quickly. At our rehearsal, Amy had everyone doing exactly what they were supposed to and she was there on the wedding day directing us as well. The food and staff were excellent and the grounds were beautiful. The staff even set up our lawn games for us. My bridal party and I were able to arrive VERY early in the morning (6:45AM) to start getting ready. Definitely make sure to get pictures of you and your partner under the twinkling lights in the courtyard!

My husband and I recently got married in April of 2021 and the service was outstanding! Amy and Janine in the Event Planning Department were phenomenal, and made sure that the day went smoothly. Even when there was a hiccup with my florist, Janine was there to assure me that they were maintaining good coordination with the florist present. Linda helped my family and I get into places for the ceremony and she was so efficient and had such an amazing sense of calm (which really helped due to feeling a little nervous before my ceremony)! The wait staff and the bartender were amazing during the reception! The food was amazing! One of the waitresses went as far as telling me and my sister that our family was just absolutely wonderful to serve, which I thought was super sweet. When the end of the night came and I was running out of people to assist with taking my decor home, one of their staff told me that I cold leave decor in their coat check over night to pick up the next morning. They really went above and beyond and I cannot say enough wonderful things about them. Book them!!!

My husband and I had our wedding at Silver Lake last month. We postponed it because of Covid and Janene and Amy were extremely understanding about it. They carried over our deposit and helped us pick our new date. Working with them was the best. They don’t care if you email them a million questions, they will respond very quickly. Or call you if you’d prefer. They suggested some of our vendors which was helpful because I really didn’t know where to start or what we really needed. They attend the rehearsal to walk you through how things will go. And the day of, they went over it again. Answered everyone’s questions. They’re just extremely helpful. They want to see your wedding be a success. The ceremony looked gorgeous. It was 90 outside but there was a lot of shade so it didn’t feel hot. And the pictures turned out great. I loved the pond and water fountain in the backyard. And the garden is beautiful. Our florist added some flowers and fabric to the arch. And most importantly our guest loved the food and top shelf OPEN BAR!!

Amy and the rest of her team made our special day even more incredible. The attentiveness was on point, they took care of everything and everyone. Food was delicious and the views incredible! Thank you again for all you did :)

Amy and Janene were so accommodating and easy to work with! Our wedding was postponed due to COVID and they were willing to go above and beyond while planning & re-planning during the uncertain times. When our wedding was finally able to happen they were extremely organized and set up the reception exactly how we envisioned. Their staff and bartenders the night of were also awesome-several of our guests also complemented them! We chose family style for the food and it came out just as hot and delicious as it did at the tasting. We would highly recommend Silver Lakes to any bride and groom!

We recently had our wedding here at the end of May after postponing twice due to COVID and everything was perfect! They were so helpful and understanding when we made the decision to postpone. The staff were so friendly and on top of everything on the day of, I didn't have to worry about anything! The food was AMAZING! Silver Lake Country Club is a beautiful place to get married! From the twinkle-lit gardens surrounding the West Garden room, to the waterfall background ceremony site, Silver Lake could not be more picturesque. My wedding vision included outdoor views with an indoor reception tucked away in a cute garden, and Silver Lake delivered just that. Also, the food is PHENOMENAL! My guests still call to say how good the filet mignon and champagne chicken was! Even the rolls and soup impressed my guests. Amy and Janene are truly wonderful people to work with, and their organization and dedication to their role as event coordinators made the wedding planning process so much smoother, even through the multiple changes due to COVID. Their years of experience show in the care they take during the event planning process and the commitment to making your day everything you dreamed of. Silver Lake makes planning simple by offering customizable packages without any hidden fees or taxes, like an all-inclusive resort. Their large staff are professional and handle everything as instructed. I could not have been happier to have chosen Silver Lake for my day!

We had our ceremony and reception in the Garden and West Ballroom. Amy was wonderful to work with and understanding with whatever we decided for 2020. We used most our their recommended vendors to keep everything running smoothly and it paid off. All of our guests gushed over the beautiful garden. The food is spectacular! Even though we only did plated vs family style, it was still so much food! My husband and I couldn't eat everything; our stomachs ran out of room. We loved having our wedding there.

We had our wedding this past September 2018 at Silver Lake, and it was absolutely wonderful. The gardens, patio area, and well kept grounds provided perfect photo opportunities. We chose family style and our guests were raving about the food and appetizers afterwards! I can't stress enough how wonderful we were treated by Amy and everyone else at Silver Lake. They were so accommodating to all our wants and needs and helped our day turn out absolutely perfect. If you choose this venue you will be in good hands and definitely won't regret it :)

Silver Lake Country Club and their staff went above and beyond for my September 2018 wedding. From the planning process, all the way to every minute of my wedding and even the day after, they were accessible, accommodating, and made us feel so special. They walk you through everything step by step and are more than willing to make you weddding vision happen in any way they can. Not one single disappointment. Waitstaff, bartenders, wedding coordinators and management made you feel like every time you stepped foot in the building, it was already your wedding day. We loved that they set up our room for us the day of the wedding and placed everything so perfectly. They allowed us to pick up all of our items the day after and did not miss one detail. I cannot day enough good things about them. LOVED, LOVED, LOVED this venue, and my guests did as well!

Had my wedding here on October 6, 2018. We had about 60 guests and were in the smaller reception hall. All in all, our wedding was beautiful. The venue staff was very helpful in coordinating all the vendors and making sure everyone was on the same page. I would recommend all interested in an intimate wedding setting to consider silver lake.

My wedding was absolutely perfect! My husband and I got married on sept 15 in the West garden at silver lake. The facility was beautiful, the food fantastic, and the workers there were so accommodating. Amy was so amazing! She made time for us every time we made an unannounced visit in the months prior to the wedding. She was always available by phone and email. She was so personal to us I felt like she was my personal wedding planner. She had great ideas and tips but also was open to trying new things. She made us really feel comfortable because she clearly knew what she was doing. I didn’t have to worry about a thing on my wedding day! She was checking in on myself and my husband through out the day. At one point I felt like my curls were falling out and she went and found a curling iron for me to use. My guests said it was one of the best weddings they had been to. Their only complaint was that there was to much food! I highly recommend the filet and chicken plated meal. Silver lake was really fantastic to us. I will definitely look back at them when it’s time for a baby shower!

We had an amazing experice with the wedding planners at Silver Lakes. Janene and Amy were very accommodating and put together a beautiful ceremony and reception. The servers were so helpful to our guests making sure everyone had what they needed. They asked guests how they wanted their steak cooked which surprised many seeing their were around 150 people to please. It was a lovely day. The grounds were beautiful and the gardens made for picture perfect photos. Highly recommend.

My husband and I got married in August. It was perfect!! The flowers were stunning. Everything ran perfectly. Amy had everything we could need anticipated for us and was super accommodating. The food was amazing. It was more than we had ever expected. Wish we could have a wedding once a year. Definitely would have it there every time.

Having the open windows to view the flowers during the early evening and then to see the lights when it got darker out was beautiful. We received a lot of compliments from our guests about our wedding. I definitely recommend this venue! :)

WE LOVED SILVER LAKE! We honestly can't say enough. The staff was AMAZING, the food was AMAZING, the venue itself was AMAZING. The flowers/grounds outside are beautiful for the ceremony and for pictures afterwards. They are so helpful with questions and concerns and they get back to you so quickly through phone and email. The best venue out there!!! The staff is amazing! The room and sounds are so beautiful and well maintained. Amy and the coordinating staff are truly professionals.I felt so confident that they could bring my dream wedding to life. We went to visit the venue the first time and actually cancelled the rest of our venue tours and booked Silver Lake on the spot. The food was incredible, and we got tons of compliments. And we got to go in for a tasting before hand, as well. The wait staff and bar tenders were so friendly and talented. My whole day was absolutely perfect all thanks to Silver Lake. They worked amazingly with all of our vendors, too. Right before our event, they actually offered for us to have both rooms for our wedding day for no extra cost. And after our wedding was finished, we received a check because we paid extra. WHAT VENUE DOES THAT?!? August 3 was our dream come true! Thanks SL!!
