We have together for 17 years and finally decided to follow through with it. Life happens, raising children takes a village, careers take precedence and hings get put off. My (now husband🎉) decided to stop in at Silver Lake Country Club and was greeted with nothing but open arms and excitement by the event coordinators Amy and Janine. He decided to plan a reception and gave me the invitation to our own wedding on Valentine's Day. This could have gone South real quick, but he survived and it all worked out and I wouldn't change a thing! Janine and Amy you're awesome to work with. They had great attitudes, promptly responded to any inquiries when necessary. They made us feel special and helped guide us through the process (I had five months to plan I might add🫣). They could 'read the room", so to speak, and understood our vision and helped bring it to life. They were fun and down to earth we could feel that they were truly and genuinely happy to see us (the couple) happy! The staff working the reception were kind and respectful and professional! Amy Coghill literally grew up surrounded by weddings and special events. Silver Lake Country Club is a family owned and operated business and Amy is a 4th generation owner. She has managed events for over 20 years and still is so grateful to work in one of the most fun industries imaginable. Work never seems like work with weddings. There is nothing more fun than seeing a bride and groom’s vision come together the day of their wedding. When she is not here she is chasing around her little kiddos or taking time to squeeze in a round of golf.

ace. Not only is the setting beautiful, but we could tell from the beginning that our occasion mattered to Silver Lake staff. For something as meaningful as a wedding, you want to feel special. We felt supported and in good hands; that feeling was consistent throughout the planning process as I planned our wedding (without planner) and had many questions to ask Janene along the way. Amy was super hands-on for the day-of, making sure things went according to plan. She even made our rehearsal fun. Our guests all had a great time as well and have complimented us on the food service. I’d do it all over again, truly. Thank you, Silver Lake!

I needed anything down to last wire, if I needed to change something or add something to the venue. On our wedding day, the team did a beautiful job. The food was great and the guest enjoyed everything. I have gotten so many compliments about my wedding there at Silver Lake. Everything I wanted leading up to the big day was perfect. The day of our wedding we had issues with the shuttle service but Amy jumped in and had things all taken care of before we were aware of the problem. The wait staff and bartenders at the reception were equally as amazing to work with and really made sure all was smooth. The venue itself was perfect for pictures there are so many beautiful spots that we didn’t need to travel for pictures which was really nice. And the food was so good! My guests were raving about how delicious the food was. We were able to do a tasting several months before our wedding with other couples organized by the venue and it was just so much fun. ts to the outside as they could not stop taking pictures in the garden. This place literally looks like an enchanted garden especially at night. But this place is more than just beautiful. At the heart of this place is one bada** woman named Amy Coghill. Before even meeting her in person, communication was quick and easy. I had 100 of probably the dumbest questions but Amy welcomed them all. She was insightful and had great suggestions in a non-condescending way, which was something I experienced from venue coordinators elsewhere. She follows up when she says she will, she's knows what she's doing and I love that she took charge at our rehearsal because I did not want to seem like a bridezilla but we had a large bridal party and they were all over the place. Also, didn't know she spoke spanish. That was a great surprise because my family doesn't speak English so she walked them through the whole thing and I didn't have to stress about explaining everything. Moving on, the food turned out great. We did the chef's family style. I'd been to so many other weddings elsewhere where the food was.. pretty bad, so I was nervous about that happening to us but everything was so good! Guests complimented the food left and right, too. The waitresses were quick and friendly. Our bartender was so sweet and funny. I didn't catch his name but he definitely knew what he was doing and at the end of the night made sure everyone was getting water and hydrating which guests also complimented us on. Bridal suite was spacious for me and my 7 girls. I honestly can't say enough great things besides the fact that we are just so happy we went with Silver Lake. No venue we toured compared to it nor checked off all our boxes like this one.

The visit though, is what sold us. The gardens and surrounding landscape are kept at an immaculate standard. The food was incredible; I still have guests to this day telling me how amazing the food was. And they have multiple ways to set up rooms in order to accommodate just about any number of guests and to make your day perfect. But Amy and her crew are by far the brightest star on this review. Amy and her crew are all wonderful people with many years of experience who know how to make your day go as smooth sailing as you could ever imagine. Her communication is amazing; it didn't matter what day or how many questions I had, she was readily available and extremely understanding. Weddings are always stressful to plan but Amy is like your best friend telling you "Don't worry about it! You've got this and I've got your back". I personally had my DJ drop out on me just a month before my wedding and I PANICKED. First person I thought would be able to help was Amy; she sent me the list of DJ's the venue has worked with before and within 5 days I had another DJ booked. Amy and her crew will answer all of your questions, calm all of your nerves, find every solution to any problem, and do it in such a way that you wonder why you even stressed about it in the first place. The scenery, the food, the space, and the budget speak for themselves; its truly an immaculate location that is priced more reasonably than most venues, especially country clubs. But Amy and her team take care of you as if you are one of their own family members getting married there and that is something you just cannot find anywhere else. I truly cannot express how grateful I am to Amy and everyone else at Silver Lake for all of their support, care, kindness leading up to and during my amazing wedding day. You all made my day flawless.

They had many options for food and appetizers. The grounds were beautiful, even mid April for outdoor photos. They made sure everything went smoothly. The staff and bartenders were friendly and efficient.

We had the family style meal and received rave reviews for the food and drinks, with many considering it the best wedding food they've ever had. The bartenders' quick service, friendliness, and fabulous cocktails were also appreciated. They even went around to each table to get drink orders, which I have never seen at a wedding before. The staff was very friendly and assisted with set up and clean up. Silver Lake was not only affordable, but the perfect venue for our wedding thanks to the responsiveness, friendliness, and amazing food and drinks!

ble every step of the way. They truly know what they're doing in terms of coordinating a beautiful wedding. From our first tour, we saw how beautiful the grounds were, and how professional the staff was. Booking and choosing our menu was so easy. They checked in prior to the wedding at just the right times, and answered my millions of questions without hesitation. The day of was absolutely perfect. The locker room is great for getting ready, Amy kept us on track in terms of timeline (this woman even helped me bustle my dress- for a while!!!), the food was AMAZING and the pictures came out fantastic. At night, the whole courtyard was lit up beautifully. We have had so many compliments on our venue. Brides, if you're looking for an all inclusive, easy, beautiful, and affordable venue, I can't recommend Silver Lake Country Club enough.

some job making sure our special day was all I imagined it would be. My guests are still talking about how great the food and the bartenders were 5 months later. Amy took the ease and worry away from me with planning & preparing for my wedding by guiding me every step of the way. Her & her staff really took the place of an actual wedding coordinator by making sure everything was in place and went as planned. Due to the size of my wedding party & guests list, I decided to rent both East and West garden areas for my reception and the ceremony was outside the garden facility. pful and informative throughout the process. They are very transparent with no hidden fees! We loved our bartender Tony who was very attentive and creative! The staff went out of their way to make us feel special such as putting a tray of appetizers off to the side for us and setting up the room just the way we wanted it. We are still getting rave reviews from family and friends about the food, staff and beautiful location. 10/10 would get married here again (although I’m 100% sold on my guy!).

vent! We had our ceremony on the lakeside location and it was beautifully maintained and a perfect place to be married. The reception and dinner were amazing. Our guests loved the food and continue to talk about how amazing the food was. Amy and staff were very accommodating to our special requests and was very helpful during the planning process. You can tell Silver Lakes has been doing weddings successfully for a long time. Our wedding day was perfect and that was thanks to Silver Lake!

staffed because there was a wedding next door and our service people spent more time there than at our wedding. Also, the walls are not that sound-proof: we heard the loud music from the wedding in the next room. Amy is a pleasure to work with, she is very fast at responding and will cater to your every need. The outdoor space where the ceremony was held was very beautiful and everything was set up nicely for us.

There was a bridal room that allowed us to get ready together in a smooth and pleasurable fashion.
