They were flawless. We asked them to sing a lot of Spanish music and they mastered every single song we asked for. It was a perfect mix of music of new and old school. The way they engage the crowd is just awesome. Everyone was feeling the music the entire night. David and Michelle were an absolute pleasure to work with throughout the entire process. David assured me the band would learn my song to dance with my father - and if it’s possible I think I loved their version more than the original. If I could, I would relive our wedding party with the rhythm shop over and over again and absolutely recommend silver pro entertainment to any one !! ew challenging elements of our wedding. For example, we did not have a sit-down dinner, so the timeline was not as traditional. However, the music transitions were seamless. We also wanted music piped throughout the whole venue including a tent, and they were able to make that happen after working with our wedding planner Joan Glenn of 6 Degrees of Celebration. I was thrilled that The Rhythm Shop incorporated many of our favorite songs throughout the night. They did an excellent job reading the energy of the crowd. We couldn’t recommend The Rhythm Shop more highly.

One guest said it was like being at a concert. Dave Silver is a true professional. He worked with my daughter on specific music she wanted to enter with and dance with her husband and they did it perfectly. He will work with you on anything and everything you want played at the reception. His goal is to get every generation up on the floor and they succeed very well in doing that. I added more horns to our evening, and it is well worth the money. Before we hired him for our son's wedding two years ago in NYC, I had heard them at several weddings before that. Just terrific! I wish I had another daughter to do this all over again! Don't hesitate! You want your reception to rock and they bring the heat and the fun! I can't say enough about them. Truly a pleasure to work with and such nice people....!

day of our wedding, everything was flawless. My husband and I got married at The Wilshire Grand, which has a large dance floor. It was filled the ENTIRE night, as our guests were having the best time dancing with the band. They sound exactly like all of the varieties of songs they perform, they sing and dance nonstop throughout the event, AND it is evident that they have fun doing it. Our only wish is that we could do it all again. THANK YOU SO MUCH!

hought! The key focus for us whilst planning this wedding was for it to be fun and have great music. The Party Shop not only didn’t disappoint but they exceeded our expectations. From the moment we first spoke to the band leader, Andy, his infectious excitement and attitude put us at ease and we knew we were in good hands. However, even with high expectations, we didn’t account for just how big an impact they would have on our night. Andy and the band were excellent from start to finish, bringing an energy that got the crowd going from the first song through to the excellent finale. Andy constantly interacted with the crowd, making it feel like everyone’s party rather than just their performance. Even when they took “a break”, a couple of the band members stayed on stage and did a couple of slow numbers so, essentially, the performance was non-stop. We opted for the 10-piece version, with all four vocalists (two male, two female), and I’d certainly recommend doing the same, if money permits. The four singers complimented each other perfectly and it meant that whatever song they picked they would nail it. The other great thing was that it was a performance that got all ages up and dancing - from 8 years old to 70 years old, everyone loved it. Is it an expensive alternative to hiring a DJ? Yes. Was the Party Shop worth it? Without doubt. Every last cent. I couldn’t recommend the Party Shop more highly. Thank you, Andy, and thank you, everyone else in the band, for making our day so memorable to us and our guests.

andard 11-piece band. This band could probably do a very sedate, lay back affair. However, if you are looking for an exciting, high energy, dance all night party, this would be the band for you. Our guests, even the ones that don’t usually dance, could not resist the magic of the music and by extension, the dance floor. While our ceremony was beautiful, the party really started with the first musical note. The music was just fantastic. The MC, Charles, engaged the guests throughout. When the horns came out onto the dance floor they added to the already unbounded high energy. Prior to the wedding I had asked Addie to perform four specific songs. Two of them were already in her repertoire, and two were not. One of them was the eponymous song “To Sir With Love” from the movie with same name. This was to be the song for the father daughter dance. The band learned it for us, there was not a dry eye in the house. The other was a Paul Stookey song (Paul of Peter, Paul, and Mary) “The Wedding Song”. Again, Addie learned it and performed it. Addie Silver and The Groove Shop were fantastic. Their incredible timing was in concert with the reception dinner. The musicians individually and collectively were remarkable. There are insufficient superlatives to describe Silver Pro Entertainments: The Groove Shop. I, without any reservation, highly recommend them.

They had the time of their lives. For me the bride, they allowed me to go on stage and sing songs with them which was a complete highlight for me. As for my husband who is not a dancer at all, the band made jokes at him throughout the night which brought tons of laugher to the evening. If you are on budget ditch the fantasy decorations and the desserts (no one cares about that stuff), splurge on the band as people will be talking about it for years to come! ened to more than 10 bands before deciding on The Groove Shop - my husband was very keen on picking the best. As soon as we heard them at their showcase, we knew they were the band for our wedding! I'm a list person so here are all of the reasons why you should book the Groove Shop: Pre-Wedding: 1. Addie. From day one, she made us feel like we were part of the Groove Shop/Silver Pro family. 2. Fairly, competitively priced and WORTH EVERY PENNY. 3. Professional. From management, the staff behind the scenes to every single band member - everyone was professional and respectful. 4. To be 100% honest, one of the lead singers left the band before our wedding (she was with the band for many years and got an INCREDIBLE gig in Seattle). We were devastated when we found out because that was our worst case scenario but instead of saying "it is what it is" Addie went out of her way to make sure we were happy. We had meetings with her to review replacements and while I loved the original lead singer, the new one was just as amazing - if not more!! Wedding: 1. You will say "OMG - I can't believe this band is at our wedding." 2. I thought Marc Broussard was singing our first dance song because it was PERFECT. I've heard of so many bands saying they can't sing a first dance song because they don't know it but that was not the case at all. 3. They played a wide range of songs from oldies but goodies to brand new songs that came out on the radio a week prior. 4. The horn section blew my mind. They even came out on the dance floor for an epic horns performance. 5. The singers - no words. They were beyond incredible. They sang EVERY song perfectly. Never off key, never a note that was too high for them to hit. Even more than their off the wall talent, they were part of our wedding - dancing and singing with all of our guests. 6. There is nothing worse than when you are at a wedding with a live band and you hear music being played through a computer because the band is on their break. There was not a minute at our wedding where live music was not being played. When the band was on break I didn't even notice. Someone was always performing whether playing keyboard or an instrument or singing a solo. 7. My brother even danced! 8. I had FUN!!! My husband and I said that all we wanted to do at the wedding was dance and we most certainly did. Post-Wedding At least once a week since our wedding people have said something about the band at our wedding. Some texts/emails I received and continue to receive: "What was the name of your band? My friend is getting married next year and they need to book them!!" "I wish i had an event to plan so I could have your band perform again" "I've been to five weddings since yours and the bands don't even come close to the band at your wedding" "How did you find that band?!?!" "I had chills when they sang The Prayer - and in perfect Italian" "I told my son he has to book your band for his wedding next year!" I could keep going but the moral of the story: BOOK THE GROOVE SHOP NOW!!!

the best songs of the past 30-40 years. I have never heard praises from guests about a band like I did at our wedding. People were TRULY blown away! Each and every guest commented on how fabulous the band was and how they were the best wedding band they had ever heard, bar none. They are an unbelievably talented group (their range is ridiculously impressive) and their ability to enlist and engage the crowd is really something to behold. Their energy, enthusiasm, smiles, and talent really elevated our wedding festivities above any other and we could not be happier with what they brought to the table. David Silver was a DELIGHT to work with, and really ensured all of our favorite songs were played even better than on the albums. From the processional to cocktail hour, to of course, the reception, his team is truly not on par with anyone else. I also love that what you see is what you get - they are not a big corporation where you may hear one singer at the showcase, but get another the day of your wedding. You will fall in love with them at a showcase, and those are the exact same performers who will show up on your wedding day. They feel like a family and truly bring and radiate that warmth at your event. I am SO lucky we were able to secure them for our big day, and can't sing their praises highly enough!!!! I assure you, you will not regret hiring them - you will just make everyone else envious that they didn't do the same!

During the cocktail hour, we had a rotating trio ensemble playing continuously throughout the hour. When we moved into the main ballroom, the 16 member band took our guests by surprise. The singers were engaging and interacting with our guests on the dance floor throughout the evening. The music never stopped. We are still getting calls about the music and the band on how true to the sound of each song was to the original artist or band. We highly recommend the Rhythm Shop Band to everyone for their next party. Kudos to Dave and the SilverPro Entertainment family for providing an unforgettable experience for our party. a 12 piece band complete with four singers who not only performed above and beyond our expectations but engaged with the entire crowd and rustled everyone out of their seats. My husband always wanted to have a wedding band and after this experience I cannot fathom people booking DJs. If you are in the New Jersey area and looking to really make your wedding stand out you MUST hire The Rhythm Shop! My husband already wants to book them in 10 years for his 40th birthday. Again, FABULOUS, FABULOUS, FABULOUS!!!

to your tastes and crowd. For having a smaller wedding (just under 100 people) I was a little concerned the 12 piece ensemble would take over the space, but they did not. They are a powerful group, but know how to work the space. I requested both Portuguese and Irish tunes for both sides of the family and they accommodated. The band manager, David, is extremely professional, energetic and down to earth. We had a such a great time planning out our reception music with him! I cannot say enough about the Rhythm Shop! I knew they were great, but at my wedding they seemed better than ever! Best thing at my wedding for me and my guests!!

However we were supposed to go out with the singers in front of us and the rest of the bad behind us and I think they completely forgot and all was a mess when we came out.. She also made sure that even though we had seen The Groove Shop play, that we still watched a show case to make sure we were 100% sure of our decision-how awesome is that? There is not enough text space to even describe how amazing the band is at what they do, and how much my fiancé and I and all of our guests are still talking about them weeks afterwards. The singers and musicians are all just so ridiculously talented that everyone the next day just kept saying, "I miss the band.." "I didn't want them to stop!", "That was by far the best wedding ever!!" (which I am sure everyone says, but with The Groove Shop, I know they meant it) You must go to their website or FB page to watch clips of their performances..just a. mazing. My husband and I are already trying to find any future events we could potentially plan just to give us a reason to hire the band again. Our family and friends all say they would pay money just to go to such an event..The Groove Shop is *that good. Maybe a vow renewal in the future... ;)

Every meeting and conversation was smooth sailing, and the band even learned our wedding song, which was not in their repitoire ( BTW, they nailed it)! We had a cello and a pianist also for our ceremony which was beautiful. Both TRS and the ceremony music were and continue to be the talk of our wedding. No one sat down the entire evening, they played throughout the evening, non stop, and everyone in attendance fed off of their energy. I couldn't be happier that TRS was a part of our amazing day at the Park Savoy because if it wasn't for them, my wedding would not have been the same. Do not look any further for a band; if you want the best, and I mean THE BEST, TRS is it. I hope I can attend a wedding as a guest with them someday soon!

When we went venue shopping I brought around their fall availability and chose our date around it. David and his assistant Melissa were a pleasure to work with. It was such a relieve to know we were in such great hands each step of the way. I can't rave enough about how incredible our Wedding was because of David Silver and his band. All our guests haven't stopped talking about how great they were. No one sat down expect to eat dinner and dessert the entire night. The evening was one big celebration. We coordinated our ceremony music, cocktail hour music and our after party through the RS as well. They were able to help us plan a karaoke after party at the Crystal Plaza after our reception. A few of the band members stuck around and helped our guests along sing along as they played in the background. It was a night we will never forget and we couldn't have done it without the help of Silver Pro Entertainment. Please don't look anywhere else for a band for your upcoming Wedding or event. They're the absolute best in the business!!!

I watched video after video on their website, listened to all their songs, met with Addie in person and saw even more of what we should expect for our wedding day. Yet I was STILL blown away by the performance we got. These guys are not just good--they're the best. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for truly making our wedding just...WOW.

ability to play the right amount of songs from each genre was superb! They played straight for 4 1/2 hours. What a difference a fabulous band makes! The band members came and danced in the crowd with our guests. The saxophonist played among the crowd. They were lively and upbeat! Simply worth their weight in gold! They rocked the house! Outstanding! If you can swing a band financially these are the guys you want hands down! I suggest sacrificing elsewhere and getting a good band! They were terrific and worth every penny! My only suggestion is when picking your song choices short of your "must haves" songs there really isn't any need to go through the list they give you because they play their set & it works because they keep with the times. That part wasn't necessary and we really took a lot of time doing that! Also, don't be surprised if all the original band members that you see aren't the ones playing the day of your wedding! We are still hearing about how amazing they were at the wedding and rightly so. Addie is also a complete PLEASURE to work with and I'm happy I will be able to see her and the rest of the crew again at my friend's wedding (who fell in love with them as well) next year! They also helped with my mother putting together a surprise flash mob at our wedding! We could not have been happier or picked a better band. You will NOT be disappointed!!

So when we were planning our own wedding and choosing between 2 dates, we actually reached out to the Rhythm Shop to see if they were available before making a choice. And lucky for us, they were! David made planning the music at our wedding so easy. We were able to arrange our ceremony and cocktail hour music through them too which was really convenient. We had several phone calls with David and he helped us pick all of the music for the ceremony through reception. When we had a hard time choosing songs, David gave us suggestions. They thought of everything, and we planned all of the details out with them beforehand so we didn't have to worry about anything the week before or day of the wedding. Our parent dance and first dance songs weren't on their song list, but the band learned them and played them beautifully at the wedding. Now on to the party... The Rhythm Shop really MADE our wedding. Our guests have been raving about them since (it's been almost 3 months). "Best wedding band" they've ever heard! They played a great variety of songs, from oldies to 80s to new hits. They had almost all of our guests, ranging from our friends to our grandparents on the dance floor all night! We've been to a lot of weddings and seen a lot of really good bands, but I don't think we've ever seen a band with the kind of range that the Rhythm Shop has. To us, this was so important at our wedding because we wanted to make sure all of our guests had a good time. They were also super interactive with our guests. Our photographers got some great shots of our guests singing with the band, belting songs into their microphones. If you're looking for the best band out there, you've found it in the Rhythm Shop. My husband and I were up on the stage singing with the band multiple times. They put on a high energy show and are so versatile. From Italian to Latin to the Top 40s, The Rhythm Shop plays it all! Addie worked with me on how sets of music would work best during the reception so that the crowd would stay engaged throughout. Our night was a huge success thanks to Addie and the amazingly engaging members of the band. We had requests, speeches, video...nothing threw them off. The energy was constant and sound just right. Addie's piano playing added a romantic mood and created beautiful background as needed to an otherwise consistant upbeat party atmosphere. Our guests have been RAVING; the best band they have ever heard. Over and over. We concur. Addie, you made our celebration a night we will always remember with a smile and gratitude.

solutely BLOWN away! Addie and her team made the time to always answer our emails, calls and even meet with us late at night to ensure our wedding was exactly how we envisioned it to be. We had a wedding with 200 people and I can honestly say that NO ONE was in their seats. Our guests danced the night away and months after our wedding - they are STILL talking about how absolutely amazing The Groove Shop was on our wedding day!!!! Addie worked with us to put together the perfect ensemble for our big day. We had a trio during the cocktail hour and they totally set the mood for the evening! ...And from the moment our guests arrived into our reception room until our very last dance, they were dancing and enjoying every second of The Groove Shop! There were times during the evening where I had to do a double-take because I could have sworn Usher was on-stage - that's how GREAT this band truly is :-) My husband and I went back-and-forth on whether-or-not a band was what we wanted at our reception; however I can honestly say that having The Groove Shop play at our wedding was the second best decision I made that day :-) Run - DON'T walk - and book them today!!!

y dont play your typical cheesy wedding music...they just know how to get the crowd going to have the best time. First off, as a bride i had the best experience working with Addie. She has so much patience and only wanted to please us with our wishes. Most bands do not care about their clients as much as Addie does. Other bands definately dont take the time to meet with you about your exact deisires and specific things that you want. There is something special about picking a smaller company instead of a big name company that doesn't deliver what they tell the client they will from the beginning and who doesn't take the time to make each client happy for their own desires. Addie was in constant contact with me about any questions that i had or any songs that i requested. If you are looking around at other bands...don't even bother...nothing compares to the Groove Shop!

It was amazing how many people went out of their way after the wedding to let us know how much they loved the band and that they were the best that they've ever seen. We've already referred friends to them and cannot wait to party with them at another event soon!

They played for 4 hours non-stop, shifting and flowing the music to go along with dinner, dancing, cake cutting, etc. perfectly. The proof though was the fact that during the wedding absolutely everyone was out of their seat and dancing, even our grand and great-grandparents. No joke. And I still have friends and family telling me now, months later, that The Groove Shop was the best wedding band they have ever seen and how much fun they had. Many of our guests kept telling us this was the best wedding band they had ever seen. Our wedding was over three months ago and people are still talking about the band! The Groove Shop was also very easy to work with. Addie was professional and made the selection of songs painless for us. We were impressed the band was able to play such contemporary songs but could still play almost any genre. She even helped select the songs we used for the ceremony as we weren't too sure about those. If we had to do it again (and we wish we could), we would book the Groove Shop in a heartbeat!
