Jerry and his team is amazing !! From the beginning to the very end. Jerry was sooooo easy to communicate with and very quick in his responses. The day of the wedding - his team was sooooo nice and sweet. They catered to my guests and my guests loved their quick services. My guests also raved about quality of food and everyone wanted seconds

From the beginning, Silver Service was incredibly easy to work with. Jerry was always responsive and helpful, and they were great about customizing the meal for our wedding to be exactly what we wanted. The staff at both our tasting and the wedding itself were all incredibly kind and helpful. They saved us some appetizers downstairs so we wouldn't miss out on them during our photos at cocktail hour, and they made plates for us at our sweetheart table so we had time to eat while our guests were going through the buffet. I've always heard people say that they don't get to eat at their weddings, but Silver Service took care of us! The food was wonderful and our guests were all very happy. The bartender Carl was incredibly personable and sweet, he really went above and beyond. I'm so happy we hired them--they took care of all our food, rentals, drapery, lighting, etc, and it was a lovely experience working with everyone on the Silver Service team!

Jerry made our wedding a true fairy tale fantasy! Great food, friendly staff, and awesome veteran suggestions on how to make our event better than we had planned. He's equipped for everything, from the tables to heaters, food to the linens. Best of all, he's easily accessible and will always call/text you back within minutes. I had fired my original caterer with only one month to go and he came thru, far surpassing any of our expectations. At one point I thought, "hey wait, he's not our wedding coordinator but thank God for him, that he thought of that." Go with Silver Service Events and you will not be sorry!

Wow, Silver Service Events catered my daughter's backyard wedding this past weekend and it was magical! Jerry and his crew handled everything and kept my stress to a minimum--rentals (everything, including heaters that I ordered at the last minute for fear we'd be cold), beautiful setup, passed appetizers, bar, and a delicious buffet. They were so accomodating with many special requests--handling it all professionally and smoothly. They set up chairs for the ceremony, then moved them to tables for the reception. They even had to reposition tables between the ceremony and reception to make the best use of space, and did so without complaint. They supported the whole event from setup, through dinner, champaign toasts, cake cutting and serving and cleanup efficeintly. To top it all off, their prices were very reasonable. I definintely recommend Silver Service Events for any wedding--they are the best!

I cannot say enough good praises about Silver Service, I have zero complaints, they were incredible!! From the first at home tasting, which they made very convenient, I was impressed by the company's professionalism & their delicious food. They have a great variety of appetizers and Jerry really worked with us on price and getting exactly what we needed. We even added on chocolate covered strawberries at the last minute and it was no sweat off their back. My venue didn't allow open flames so all food was brought in hot boxes, you would've never known the difference. Would highly recommend them for any event. I lived off of leftovers from my wedding for a week or 2 afterwards and they were just as good heated up as they were the night of my wedding - especially the cheesy potatoes!

Jerry and his team are amazing and so great to work with. Jerry and his team were one of the first things we took care of booking and he was great every step of the way - from the tasting, tweaking the menu, last minute requests that came up a few days before the wedding, and execution on the big day. We got married at Saddlerock Ranch in Malibu, so we had to bring in ALL of the vendors, Silver Service took care of the catering, rentals, generators, etc. Also, they are pretty competitive on pricing. I never felt like we were getting over charged on anything. He is very responsive and even with the last minute requests, he takes care of it with no sweat. One thing Tyler and I really appreciated was that one of servers was assigned to just us (the bride and groom), she took care of us with our plates being served right when we sat down (it was a buffet, so we didn't have to go through the line), bringing us cocktails and more champagne - it was amazing!!!!

Jerry is honestly the best caterer you will ever work with for an event. He was very patient and accommodating to our every question, concern and request for our wedding. Our venue actually burned down 4 weeks before our wedding, and Jerry came out for a second final walk through at our new venue to secure details with hardly any notice. The food was exceptional, the staff was so great, and the prices are the best in town. I heard for a week after the wedding from family and friends how great the food and staff were at our wedding. If I could give 10 stars, it still wouldn't be enough.

My daughter's wedding was on May 6th, a beautiful day and a perfect day. The weather was touch and go that day and Silver Service Events worked with me to change my plans to Plan B and move all the tables inside the home of Orcutt Ranch. The staff was so helpful and courteous and Aliah was on top of everything, almost knew what I needed before I could even voice it out loud. The food was wonderful!!! I even had a few guests come up to me telling me they had been to other weddings before and this by far was the BEST food they have had. Fresh and yummy and melt in your mouth good. Jerry gave us a tasting a few months ago so we knew how good it really was. He worked with the menu with us, knowing we had some vegans, gluten free and dietary needs. I would use them again for any event! What a jewel to have found.

Silver Service Events was exceptional to work with! Jerry was always on top of it, and very responsive to emails and phone calls. Jerry was also extremely patient and kind as we worked through all the planning details, being willing to repeatedly update the proposal as we changed ideas or needed to add last minute items. He always went above board from the first tasting all the way through the wedding itself. The food was absolutely great. We got repeated compliments on the food, with several guests saying it was the best food they had ever had at a wedding. We did a buffet, and Jerry created a beautiful layout. He really listened to what we wanted and delivered. The staff at Silver Service Events was also great. We received many compliments on how witty and charming the bartender was, and how on top of service the staff was. Overall, we could not have been happier with Jerry and his team. They exceeded our expectations, and really shined at the wedding. Thank you Jerry.

Silver Service was very good in every aspect that we were looking for in a caterer. Reasonably priced, great food, accommodating service, flexible menu, and excellent service. Jerry was very helpful and went above and beyond.

We worked with Jerry for Catering and with Analiza (and her sidekick Aliah) for Coordination. Jerry immediately left a very positive impression that carried through our entire wedding experience. The initial tasting was amazing with a lot of food! He was willing to work within our budget, and accommodated our suggestions and changes throughout the process of working together. He was also great at providing suggestions. Given how large of a company they are, they also have furniture rental available that was hundreds of dollars cheaper than other quotes we were getting (and for great quality furniture that suited our venue and the look we wanted). The majority of our guests were coming from other countries, and Jerry was very gracious with accommodating last minute changes in our guest lists. The day of went very smoothly. Guests gave a lot of feedback on the service, the quality of food, and the aesthetics of the setup! We hired Analiza a few months before the wedding, and she was quick to get right to work. She helped me organize my "to do" list, and checked in/was available often as I worked through the list. She offered many helpful suggestions along the way, including a cheaper/more delicious option for our cake, and taking me to the wholesale flower market at 6am (with Aliah) so that I could make my own floral centrepieces (which were hundreds of dollars cheaper!). She also helped me to get a good deal for the flower vases. On the day-of, Analiza, Aliah and the rest of the team helped us to have a great day by assisting with time management, guests, transportation, set up, clean up, and dropping off gifts/left over alcohol/etc in the bridal suite. I would 100% recommend Analiza and her team for coordination as they were absolutely fantastic and easy to work with! Thank you Jerry, Analiza, Aliah and the rest of the Silver Service Team :)!

A month out from my wedding and I still cannot believe how perfect Silver Service was. Affordable, DELICIOUS and extremely professional, Jerry and his team were unbelievable. There was no single part of my wedding that I researched more than catering, and at every turn I kept thinking Jerry was too good to be true. (I think I even told him that at one point). Jerry came to our house with free samples to taste the food, visited the venue with us and worked seamlessly with our coordinator to help give us the perfect wedding. My wife and I were about to cut out 35 people from our wedding to stay under budget until we found Jerry. With Jerry, we were able to have every guest we wanted without compromising on anything! I cannot thank you enough Silver Service.

All I can say is "Wow!" Jerry and his team blew me and my guests away! The food was phenomenal....I haven't stopped getting compliments on it. The au gratin potatoes were definitely a huge hit!!! We found Jerry through Thumbtack... Not only did he come all the way to our home for a tasting, but he was able to do everything we needed him to do and more. He thought of all the things we couldn't or didn't and the set up and tear down at our event was so seamless, we barely knew it happened! His staff was kind, professional, and so organized. They all did such a wonderful job and I couldn't be happier. Highly, highly recommend them!!!

I am a wedding coordinator and had the pleasure of working with this amazing crew! They were such a pleasure to work with! Went above and beyond in set up and overall catering needs throughout the night. They left the venue spotless and asked several times if they could be of anymore help! I would highly recommend to any of my couples looking for a caterer!

Jerry and Silver Service Events did an absolute incredible job from start to finish for our wedding. From the first tasting and time we met Jerry, we knew he was extremely hard working, trustworthy and had some delicious food! They gladly put up with our nonstop requests, questions, changes in menu, and months of back and forth! The food turned out amazing and make sure you get their DESSERTS! The bar was great and the service was friendly. You will not go wrong hiring them!

Everyone LOVED the food at our wedding. The owner was able to help us plan a menu then they delivered the samples to our house to taste and confirm that is what we wanted.. The day of the wedding went on without a hitch. The bartenders were great, service was amazing and food was ridiculously good.

There are times in life when it almost seems too simple to accomplish a task that should be very labor intensive - this was one of those occasions. We found Silver Service Events / Jerry on the Wedding Wire / Knot websites. The reviews were great, so we figured that they would be out of our price range. Nonetheless, we contacted them for an estimate. We made an appointment with Jerry to come to our house (where the wedding was to be held). Everything we threw at him, he said "no problem". He was also very helpful in making suggestions on how to handle certain things. We waited nervously for the estimate but were pleasantly surprised. He was neck and neck with the lowest estimate that we had received. We then had the tasting, and the food was excellent. This made the decision easy. We kept wondering when the other shoe would drop - but it never did. Everything went off perfectly without a hitch. Everyone loved the food (some even asking for seconds) and service. I can't say enough about Silver Service and Jerry. They will make any gathering an incredible experience.

Jerry with Silver Service helped us plan, cater and provide rentals at our incredible wedding at Orcutt Ranch. To our luck, Jerry actually had his own wedding their so he knew the venue incredibly well. Orcutt Ranch is a beautiful place in Canoga Park that is almost a blank canvas to use for the wedding venue and reception. Which meant a lot of planning and coordination was required. My wife and I were on a budget and doing this without a wedding planner so in essence Silver Service helped us this as well and things were flawless. We had a pretty relaxed style and Silver Service filled in the details of whatever was needed and went above and beyond. Neither of us actually got a chance to enjoy any of the appetizers but the rest of the food was wonderful and we have heard time and time again by everybody what a beautifully catered event it was. The staff was extremely professional and just all around a 5 star experience. I have been getting work out to friends and will continue to recommend Silver Service and in particular Jerry for a great experience. I look forward to the day we can use Silver Service again in the future. Lastly, as mentioned before we were on a budget and Silver Service was actually the best priced provider for rentals and catering that we got quotes for. You truly cannot beat the service and quality you will receive.

I dont even know where to start of how amazing Jerry and the entire staff at Silver Service are! When looking for a wedding caterer we received a quote from everyone and their mama. Not only I was impressed by the quote and what was included but the communication was the best! We hadn't even tried the food and just had a feeling Silver Service was going to be it! Jerry personally drove down for a food tasting to our home in Orange County. That alone was amazing and without any strings attached or any promises from us. We figured since the food traveled an hour, we figured not to expect it to be that amazing and boy did we get proven wrong! EVERYTHING was delicious and tasted like it had just came out of a kitchen of a fancy restaurant. Nothing tasted like it was sitting an hour in traffic or like other "wedding" food. It was TOP NOTCH! We were almost too excited! Jerry also knew we were in a budget and this was not budget food whatsoever, it was fancy wedding type of food. he also didn't try to over sell us on anything. In fact I can be a pain in the booty and he worked with me so patiently and made everything work so I got what I wanted and didn't up sell me, he knew how to get what I wanted and at the prefect price. So that's only the tasting part before going into the wedding. We obviously booked him :) Forward to the wedding month. Our day of coordinator asked me to show her my contracts so she knew everything that was being delivered and she COULD NOT BELIEVE the catering contract. Her socks were blown off. She told me she has never seen such a detailed and professional contract with so much detail and she could also not believe the type of food that was coming our way and with the final price. Extremely impressed to say the least and this was once again before even the wedding day LOL Oh not to mention, I wanted a special color/material for my napkins, and honestly I HAVE NO IDEA how Jerry found the perfect color and material of the napkins. It was one of those small details that really really stood out at the wedding. I will have to post photos after I receive them from photographer (My wedding was just last Thursday) I also asked for a special fold and sure enough they happily did it for me. Okay now its wedding day at Rancho Las Lomas (an hour or so away from Silver Service)... The FOOD WAS FANTASTIC! I had comments from all the foodies saying how it was some of the best food they have had at weddings. Keep in mind some of these people attend 200,000 weddings here on the regular and honestly Jerry's catering made our wedding seem so much more expensive than it was, after all I was a budget bride with all sorts of DIY. Sorry for the long post I just have to get the word out there! My last comment is aside from the amazing food.... THE STAFF. SO professional all of them. I found out later that Jerry carried my cake in 90 degree heat across the ranch to the designated area. The cake was not his, so he happily helped out a very annoying task of a super heavy cake when he had so much already on his plate, but Im not surprised he is just cool like that! The rest of the staff amazing too and such a pleasure to talk to and be around! Best decision we made was hire Jerry and Silver Service. I know they will always be our go to for catering needs and I will spread the word to my friends (actually most people at the wedding already asked me for their info LOL)

We recently used Silver Service Events for our wedding, and we would highly recommend them for a wedding or any other event. Jerry worked meticulously to make sure everything was exactly the way we wanted it, and responded promptly to our dozens of emails. The day of our wedding, the staff was friendly and professional, everything was on time, and the food was phenomenal. Everyone has been asking us what caterer we used. They are also by far the best priced for such high quality and service. We know many other couples who blew their entire budget on food, only to end up with bland food and not many options. With Silver Service, we were able to get tons of choices for a fraction of what other caterers had quoted us. Also, they did a great job incorporating our signature drinks, wine from our favorite winery, and our preferred specialty beers. We were also really happy with the quality and prices for the rentals. We highly recommend calling Jerry for any event!

I had my wedding on June 29th, 2013, and Silver Service Events was the contracted/preferred cater from my venue. Silver Service Events was excellent! I have never left either a good or bad review on any vendor, because I normally don’t take the time to do so. But I was so pleased with them that I decided to leave a positive review. I had several issues with my venue due to crazy personnel turnover, but Silver Service Events delivered on everything and exceed my expectations. Luckily Silver Service is just contracted by the venue, and Jerry honored all of our previous arrangements despite the stuff the venue no longer wanted to give me. I had two tastings before my final selection and both of them were very good. The food at the wedding day was amazing, served hot, and served all at the same time. I actually took time during my wedding to go to the kitchen to thank the staff. Food and Service was something really important to me, and I have guests calling me to mention how good the food was. Jerry was super professional, super helpful, and super flexible to accommodate my unusual requests. I would totally recommend them and would use them again if I ever need catering services again. Silver Service Events is a top-notch, first class catering company. They recently catered my wedding, and the food, organization and execution was absolutely wonderful! When I met Jerry at the venue he guided me through the whole process, helping me create my vision while staying on budget. I really wanted to have a fun wedding and that's what I got! :) Everyone had a great time! The food was fantastic! Not only did guests come up to me during the wedding saying how great the food was, but even now when I talk to people about the wedding- they always mention how great the food was. Cynthia was the head chef at our event and she was just wonderful! Jerry, Analiza, and the entire staff at Silver Service Events are professional, polite, responsible and an absolute pleasure to work with!

Jerry and his staff represent professionalism, value, quality and integrity. My guests raved about all the food available and came back for seconds and thirds. Silver Service Events and their staff provided me & my husband such a magical evening. We couldn't have asked for a more wonderful event. The level of service that we received from Silver Service Events made everything perfect! The owner, Jerry, was amazing! He was at my beck and call every step of the way in the planning process. Our servers, Aaron and Robin made our night completely stress free. The friendliness and attentiveness of the staff, beautiful set up, efficient clean up, and over all tone of our wedding reception will not be forgotten. The food was delicious! Everyone kept raving about the Italian meatballs (in red sauce) especially. Silver Service Events made our wedding reception exactly what we had hoped for. We thank them from the bottom of our hearts. We highly recommend them for your wedding reception, party, you name it. We cannot sing their praises enough.

Working with Silver Service Events was the best decision we made when it came to planning our wedding. They go above and beyond your expectations. Jerry and Analiza are so flexible, understanding, professional and patient. I truly don't know what I would have done without them. So much stress was averted because of them! They made our special day perfect! From the flowers, to the ceremony decoration, table settings, food, refreshments, cake set up, staff, reception decorations, coordinating with DJ and MC, they were amazing in everything they did. They don't cut corners, they give you exactly what you want and expect; Nay, they give you more than you expect. Example: I had asked them to do swagging for the ceiling and there were going to be six swags. But, it turns out they had extra material, so they did twice as much as I expected, and it looked amazing. You don't even have to ask for them to go the extra mile...they just do. I could really go on and on, but I'll just say this in closing: If you are looking for someone to cater an event in Los Angeles, I couldn't think of a more competent and excellent company to do it than Silver Service Events. Book them, you won't be disappointed!

High end service without the high end price tag! From the in home taste testing (that's right, they bring the food to you, with a waiter, all the china you will have at the wedding and a meal fit for a king!) down to the last decorative feather on the tables, this company was incredible. The service was stellar, the food was wonderful (everyone kept going back for seconds and thirds), they bent over backwards for us and were always accommodating, no matter what the circumstances. They will make sure you have everything you need and they don't miss a thing. On time to all meetings and nothing was too much to ask. They really made the planning of the wedding easy. We got married 5 months after we got engaged and they provided the food, the tables, chairs, lighting, chuppah and one of the owners, Jerry, was our Day Of coordinator and he had a wonderful assistant with him for the rehearsal and the day of the wedding. It was great. They even have a flower service if you need that too!!! Their pricing is very reasonable for what you get - we were on a budget and their suggestions for food and everything else really helped us stay on track! I would absolutely recommend them to anyone getting married! They were just great!!! Thanks again Jerry!!!

I could NOT have been happier with the job that Jerry and his team at Silver Service Events did for our wedding. He took our event on at the last minute, as wedding planning goes, and he managed to pull everything together very professionally. He was very understanding and worked within our budget, giving us more than we'd expected to be able to get. Our guests RAVED about how delicious the food was and how amazing their service was. Every time my husband and I turned around, his staff had provided us with a plate or refilled our drink. And, in true LA style, our sweet bartender had been a body double for Anne Hathaway, which pleased the single men in the crowd. I'd HIGHLY recommend Silver Service!

Silver Service Events was recommended by a friend who used them for her wedding. From start to finish they were great. The price was reasonable. Jerry, the guy we worked directly with made it so easy and helped us stay with in our budget while still making our wedding extraordinary. They did more than just catering. They made it all come together. We had the 200 guest reception at our home in the back yard and the ceremony at a local church. We planned everything in advance and made sure to communicate what we wanted & expected. Then we put it in their hands and hoped for the best. Once we arrived back home (the reception) from the church and saw our months of planning made a reality it was thrilling. Everything looked beautiful and all the little details were in place. We couldn't have been happier. The staff worked hard all evening and earned every dollar they made. We felt care free through out the night. The food was great and as mentioned before, for what we got it was a great deal. Every time I called with an idea and/ or addition to the plan, Jerry's answer was always, "yes, we can do that." And it wasn't like he was always adding an additional charge. Thanks Jerry & Silver Service Events!!! I'm writing this review because it's the least I can do after how great you guys were to us!

Jerry with Silver Service Events was wonderful. He came to the house with samples for us to taste. He made my now husband feel at ease and thrilled him with the food. From the moment Jerry walked into our home we knew that this was the company we wanted to caterer our wedding. Jerry handled everything. He took care of the tables, linen, dishes, food, servers, bar and bartender (even heaters). His staff were professional, kind, and all around wonderful. We had a Hawaiian wedding in our backyard and the fresh fruit display that is standard with the catering was a big hit. The food was delicious; as a matter of fact many people went back for seconds. Everything Jerry and his staff did was perfect. I would highly recommend Jerry and Silver Service Events and I will use them again for other events.
