Silver Swan Bayside was the most beautiful venue we toured and we knew it was where we wanted to get married, but the fact that it was even better during our wedding was incredible. Everyone from Emily to the bartenders and staff to the chef, all made our day an absolute dream. They were all so great to work with. Whenever I had a question, Emily responded immediately. We dropped off our decor the day before and the staff set it all up for us exactly how we were envisioning it to look. The food was absolutely amazing!! My husband and I are both gluten free and everything, including the crab cakes, on the menu was gluten free. I wish it was a restaurant, so we could go back and enjoy all of the delicious food and the gorgeous views again. If you’re looking for a perfect waterfront wedding, this is definitely the place you’re looking for!

I cannot say enough about how incredible it was to work with Caitlin during the planning process. She’s an absolute doll. My family and friends raved about the food and drinks. The venue left everyone absolutely speechless- even with a thunder storm in the middle of it. They made sure that the guests we had with dietary restrictions were all taken care of. They allowed us to borrow table numbers and votive candles. They made it all so easy for us! Thank you for everything!!

I highly recommend having your wedding at Silver Swan Bayside! I just got married Friday and I am so happy with the way everything turned out! Emily was amazing to work with, she did a great job communicating and organizing the whole day! I was also very happy with the way she set up my decor and made my vision come to life! The food and drinks were great! My guests couldn’t stop talking about my signature cocktail the Orange Crush!

We got married on 10/23/21 at Silver Swan Bayside and cannot recommend the venue enough! After visiting several waterfront venues that just didn’t quite feel right to us, we visited Silver Swan and both immediately knew it was the one. The views of the bay are unmatched! Every single guest we’ve talked to since the wedding has commented on how absolutely beautiful the venue is and asked us how we found them. We were fortunate to have beautiful weather for our wedding day, but we loved that even if it rained, we would still have waterfront views indoors, as well. That was definitely something that made Silver Swan stand out from the other waterfront venues we visited. We worked with Caitlin as our day-of coordinator and she was absolutely amazing. Throughout the entire planning process, she was so accommodating and easy to communicate with. She answered all of our emails quickly and always had an answer for whatever logistical question we had. On the day of our wedding, Caitlin was such a calming and positive presence (as was the rest of the staff), and we felt confident that they would handle every single detail so that we could relax and enjoy the day. We could tell they truly cared about us and ensured our day was exactly as we envisioned it. They set up everything so beautifully and broke everything down/cleaned it up as well, which was a huge stress off of our plates! The attention to detail that Caitlin and the rest of the staff at Silver Swan put into our day was so appreciated and helped make our day perfect.

If you're looking for a beautiful waterfront venue, look no further. I cannot say enough amazing things about Silver Swan Bayside. The whole property is gorgeous and gets incredible sunsets. We were happy to use their in-house caterer and thought the food was good (the salmon was delicious!). We opted into the late night food and the chef was willing to work with us to come up with something fun that was off-menu. Our guests raved all night about the scenic views, the food, the staff. So many people asked, "how did you find this place?!" Even almost a month later, friends and family are still telling me how great it all was. We were fortunate to have beautiful weather but they have a solid rain plan. But a beautiful venue is nothing without great people to make the wedding happen and I think that's where SSB really shines. Caitlin was phenomenal to work with. I'm sure she does 100+ weddings a year but from the very first time we met she always made me feel like our wedding was her only priority, whether we were 10 months or 10 days out. She was always friendly, professional, and very easy to communicate with. I felt that the venue and services were priced very fairly, comparable to other venues we looked at. A lot was included for what we paid. I have absolutely nothing negative to say about Silver Swan, would 100% book again.

One thing I’m terrible at are reviews but here I am 1 incredible year into our marriage with a postcard from Caitlyn at Silver Swan Bayside wishing us many more years of happiness ❤️ We chose to hold our ceremony and wedding photos at Silver Swan Bayside in Oct 2018 and it all went without a hitch bc of Caitlyn. She was prompt, sweet and I wish she’d been with us all day! I cannot stress enough how wonderful the facility was and particularly working with her. We were there for only 2 hours but it’s still my most magical memory.

The venue was gorgeous and provided a beautiful sunset! Caitlin and the staff were very helpful from start to finish. My wedding day went smoothly and was beyond my expectations. I would definitely recommend this place to future brides!

My fiancé and I got married here on October 5th and we had the most perfect day imaginable. Really, from the start, Emily could not have been more accommodating. She agreed to stay late so that my mom and I could come and see the venue, when we arrived (an hour past closing) Emily took her time to let us tour the venue and discussed the different package options. Fast forward to our wedding day and again, everything was perfect. Emily kept us on schedule, the decorations were set up perfectly and the entire day went exactly as I had hoped. In addition to all of this, my grandmother fell about 10 minutes before I was supposed to walk down the aisle, due to her age they had to call EMS, Emily managed all of this without me even knowing (at my family’s request) having staff meet the ambulance and having them arrive without lights or sirens. From start to finish, everything was perfect. I can’t say enough how much I recommend this venue and especially Emily!

My wife and I just got married at Silver Swan Bayside and were over the moon. The venue was beautiful! Perfect views, amazing add on features, and a fraction of the price for typical bay view venues. We worked with Caitlin F. from the moment we did a walk through all the way until the day after the wedding. Caitlin was absolutely amazing. She took care of everything we could think of, was so sweet, and extremely professional. There wasn't a single thing the venue didn't think of or assist with. Our flowers immediately fell apart and Caitlin was right there doing everything she could to fix them. Every person we encountered from the venue was caring and sweet. At the end of the day both my wife's and my family had nothing but good things to say about the venue and the staff. We learned the next day the staff felt the same for our family. I truly believe the icing on the cake was how multiple staff members expressed how much love was in the room, such a small detail made us feel so loved. Would recommend this venue a thousand times over!

My husband and I are soooo happy we chose to get married at Silver Swan Bayside. We fell in love with the venue as soon as we walked thru the door. The views from the bay are breathtaking and like no other. We can’t say enough amazing things about our coordinator- Caitlin. She went above and beyond to make sure our wedding day ran smoothly from start to finish. She is very detailed oriented and professional. She always responded to all of my emails and was truly a joy to work. I can’t put into words about amazing she is. Brides look no further- you will not regret getting married here ;)

We just had our 160 person wedding at Silver Swan Bayside on Saturday. The venue is absolutely beautiful. The sunset over the water was breathtaking. I have received countless comments from guests about how lovely it was, and how attentive the staff was at the venue. The bartenders were speedy, the planners were competent and on top of everything. When I changed my mind about the timeline in the middle of the reception; Emily was able to coordinate with the dj and make it happen within seconds. I never had to ask for anything; I felt as though they anticipated my needs throughout the entire day. I can't say enough positive things about this venue. If you're considering it; I highly recommend.

The venue was small, but the view of the bay was beautiful. The staff was very helpful. You have to pay for anything anything extra you, it was like an ala cart menu. I had to rent beer glasses, the food was horrible, They use Flamant, They just catered my daughters wedding at Silver Swan Baysideon 7/27/19. The food that we tasted was NOT what we were given. The beef tenderloin was the size of a silver dollar, and 1/4 " thick plus cost me and extra $10ppr!! The green pea risotto which was green and very good at the food tasting, was now white with a few peas.The crab cakes had shells in it. The childrens chicken fingers with french fries was twice the size of our dinner. Plus it was ICE COLD.. What an embarrassment! Our guests left hungry!! Don't use them to cater your meals!!

Silver Swan was the first venue we visited and afterwards we knew this was our spot. We were looking at venues by the water and this place was the right space for our intimate celebration. It has the perfect view of the bay, and the inside is so clean and has a simple elegance to it. The inside (reception area) also has glass walls, so guests will always have a view of the beautiful scenery. We worked with Caitlin, our wedding coordinator, who was so sweet, helpful, accommodating, and worked so hard from beginning to end to make our wedding our dream. Even when it came to adding cultural elements, such as to food, desserts, decorations and timeline, she worked with us and the venue to make everything coordinate beautifully. The whole process was so easy, and they have back up plans for everything (for rain, etc). Not only do you get their venue and gorgeous view, but they also let you use a variety of decorations, furniture, wedding archs and more. You have to use their food caterer, but that was no problem because the food was amazing (even with our morning wedding, they accommodated our desires and provided us with the dinner menu,, which was DELICIOUS!). The vendors that they do NOT provide are DJ, Cake, Photography and Videography, Floral Arrangements, and Transportation. However, they provided us with a large list of recommended vendors who work often with SSB, so it's easy to get those set up. Silver Swan was also the only venue that was very transparent and honest on pricing right off the bat during our first meeting (BTW, the prices are extremely reasonable). They included all fees and tip amounts into our quote, so that we wouldn't have any hidden fees or unexpected expenses by the time of our wedding. Our wedding went off without a hitch (even with the forecast of rain!) and we enjoyed everything about it! Our guests raved to us about the wedding afterward, from the food to the gorgeous views. The kids enjoyed playing on the lawn and the beach area, and we were able to invite our friends' sweet dogs, who also enjoyed the beautiful outdoors. Our pictures came out amazing, with all of the beautiful scenery (many of our friends changed their profile pictures to ones taken from our wedding, by the bay, which made us so happy to see!) We are thankful to Silver Swan for coordinating our wedding and giving us such a memorable experience. A big thanks to Caitlin for all her hard work, kindness, prompt and thorough replies, attention to detail, and so much more. We couldn't have asked for a better wedding coordinator to help us with preparing for and running the big day. We are beyond pleased with our experience at this venue and we strongly recommend them!

We had our wedding at Silver Swan in June 2018, it was everything we dreamed of and more! The setting is incredible with perfect views, beautiful sunsets and an awesome inside/outside ceremony and reception set up. You get a cozy vibe, but it is very spacious! We fit a 9 piece band and 160 guests on the dance floor with no issues. Caitlin Farrell was our coordinator, we LOVED her! She was extremely organized, responsive, flexible and an amazing listener, remembering every want and need we discussed. She always kept our best interest in mind! Silver Swan has welcomed us back for champagne and sunset time to maintain a relationship. They truly are wonderful venue, highly recommend!

When we first toured the Silver Swan Bayside facility, we knew it was THE place we had to get married. We went on to tour a few other places, but kept comparing them to SSB. My fiance and I fell in love with the beautiful view of the Chesapeake Bay, the garden, and the elegant dining space. Our coordinator Caitlin was super helpful and responsive every step of the way with walkthroughs and our tasting. Any time I had a question or concern, she was on it. The food was absolutely delicious- fresh seafood and unique entrees. It was so nice to have ceremony and reception contained in one place- and made it really easy for guests to enjoy cocktail hour while we took our pictures- which turned out gorgeous thanks to the lighting and view. One of the things that really made a difference for us is the team's willingness to both set up and tear down centerpieces and decor for us. No one wants to pack boxes when it's late at night after your big day! The dining room and glass pavillion are intimate, gorgeous spaces. I wouldn't recommend a huge wedding here, but it worked perfectly for ours of about 80 people. We were concerned about rain, but I felt much more at ease knowing that we had a plan B inside the glass pavillion. While our small wedding was pricey, I would do it here again a hundred times over. thank you so much, Caitlin and the SSB team!

Silver Swan Bayside was everything I could have asked for in a wedding venue and more. Caitlin was our day-of coordinator. Not only was she right there whenever we needed something during the wedding day, she was so helpful throughout the entire planning process. She was quick to answer our emails and calls and even helped us with our timeline and to help vendors. She kept all our information very organized and made finalizing the smaller details way easier. Couldn't have done it without her. For the venue itself it was absolutely perfect. After the ceremony, the entire bridal party went back to the bridal suite area where they had champagne and apps waiting for us. The food was AMAZING, all our guests raved about it. They even had fresh squeezed juices at the bar. We dropped of all our decorations a few days early and Caitlin had the venue set for us when we came to rehearsal. The view at this venue is just breathtaking. Everything from the ceremony to dinner to dancing flowed perfectly. I will recommend this venue over and over again!

I had my wedding ceremony and reception at Silver Swan and had, hands-down the easiest experience I could have imagined. Emily was my coordinator and she was so organized, thought of every detail that slipped my mind and was always a step ahead of us on the day of making it a completely seamless event from start to finish. The venue literally has the most beautiful sunsets I've ever seen. The property is so well-kept with many different types of scenery for amazing photos. The food blew us away. We were really impressed with the consistency and had many guests compliment it! The bar tenders were also amazing- fun and professional. If you're thinking of ANY other waterfront venue, I'd highly recommend silver swan. Amazing communication, great staff and over-all the most beautiful space!

Caitlin was absolutely amazing! She walked us through everything and kept us on track. The venue was perfect with every atmosphere you want. We had multiple guests say that it was the best wedding they have been to!

We had looked at several other venues and were in a time crunch to finalize. We actually moved our wedding date (after we sent out Save the Dates) just to have our wedding at Silver Swan Bayside. We thought the venue was gorgeous and according to many of our guests who blew up our phones the day after - they agreed. Beautiful crown molding, hardwood floors, a bead board bar with a deep dark wood top, stone fireplace with mantel and a breathtaking view secured our choice. But even more so was the fact that we knew, even if it rained, it would still be a spectacular setting. An all glass enclosed reception area with a billowing white canopy decorated with bistro lights and attractive chandeliers would have made a thunderstorm on the bay enchanting. We got lucky and had a stunning sunset. Caitlin, our coordinator, was fantastic - detailed and came with great ideas. Dave - the head dude - was incredible - so personable that the day we came back after our wedding to pick up all of our decorations, etc., he gave us a bottle of champagne so we could sit on the Adirondack chairs on the pier and take it all in one last time. And because these things matter, the cake and dessert boxes sitting on the table waiting for us when we arrived were cold - so we knew they had refrigerated them - (some other vendors might have not bothered). Our plated dinners, again, according to so many of our guests, were delicious - surprisingly so for catered food for 140 people. The new Belgian Chef should be a draw for anyone considering Silver Swan. The servers could not have been more mannerly and charming. Many staff throughout the night congratulated us - an unnecessary but absolutely lovely touch. The Bridal Suite was newly renovated and a comfortable and tasteful place to hang out for a nervous bride and her party! There was a bottle of champagne on ice waiting for us when we walked in - again, another classy touch to add to the experience. All a great memory.

Silver Swan Bayside was a beautiful spot for my wedding. The staff were all very helpful, Caitlin in particular did a great job helping me plan and organize all the details. All of our guests were very pleased with this venue. We were lucky enough to have excellent weather for an outdoor ceremony, but it was a great peace of mind to have the indoor backup plan. Overall, it was a great location and fit nicely into the budget.

During our wedding planning, we joked how we would not know what venue we wanted until we saw it. The minute we saw Silver Swan, we fell in love. Tucked away with a breathtaking view, Silver Swan offers guests the option to wander around the beach, boardwalk, lawn, various patios, glass pavilion and marina instead of being trapped in one room for the entire event. We worked with Caitlin who was always so friendly, professional, flexible and responsive. Having everything in-house (catering, tables, linens, etc.) made the planning experience a breeze. Deciding on our menu was the most difficult decision, as we loved just about everything we tasted. Highly recommend the chicken & waffles for an hors d'oeuvre! Our wedding was mid-July with around 150 guests, and we had both our ceremony and reception at the venue. The overall atmosphere was laid-back, intimate and fun. Being such a gorgeous venue with beautiful landscaping, we did not have to add excessive decorations. Can't say enough nice things about the venue and staff at Silver Swan - we had the wedding of our dreams!

This venue was perfect for my September wedding! Caitlin is truly the best, she really makes the Silver Swan experience great. The venue is spectacular, the wait staff and bartenders were excellent, and it really made the wedding! Highly recommend!

Wow! Caitlin and the SSB staff created the "best day ever" wedding for us. The venue was perfect and Mother Nature cooperated for us. Our guests reported that it was one of the nicest venues they've ever been to for a wedding. After being a bridesmaid 17 times, I knew exactly what I wanted and my dreams came true at SSB!

This venue is remarkably beautiful, indoors and out. We had our ceremony outdoors, right on the water where the breeze provided much needed cooling and were able to walk on the beach for pictures. The reception was indoors in a beautiful, well air conditioned dining room. The food was amazing and the bar service was great. Our day of coordinator provided thorough answers to all of the questions we asked, and even for some we didn't think to ask. Everything went as smoothly as it possibly could, thanks to the employees at Silver Swan Bayside.

We held our wedding reception at Silver Swan Bayside recently and I can honestly say it was a PERFECT day. The setting on the Chesapeake is gorgeous and the venue space feels elegant but intimate. I had guests coming up to me all night saying how pleasant the staff were, how lovely the venue was, and how much fun they were having! Jessica helped us every step of the way and answered my hundreds of emails with patience and professionalism. It felt so good knowing that we could hand off the timeline and details to her and enjoy our day. The food was delicious and bar staff some of the best at any wedding I have attended. We couldn't recommend Silver Swan more highly!

SILVER SWAN BAYSIDE IS IT!!!!!! I gave a 5-Star rating, but did NOT give that perfect score lightly. To me, 5-Stars means that the venue, location, staff, food, ambiance, ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception somehow not only met, but completely surpassed my insanely high and overly anticipated visions, dreams, and fantasies I had about my wedding day for the last dozen years!! I gave them a 5 because the quality of service, professionalism, responsiveness, and flexibility THE AMAZING STAFF, who were a dream come true, the beautiful location, insanely gorgeous venue and views, and the overall experience of being a Silver Swan bride! My husband and I got married on August 8th, 2015, and I have spent every day since trying to think of a way to get married every year at Silver Swan! There are numerous aspects that make Silver Swan the PERFECT place to get married: 1. The Staff - Professional Event Specialists 2. The Breathtaking Views 3. All Encompassing Ceremony, Cocktail hour, & Reception - Venue, Event Planners, Catering, White Glove Service, Valet Parking, Waiters/Waitresses,-- Only other additional costs outside of Silver Swan - Flowers, Cake, Dress and Accessories (Duh), Music (quartet and DJ) Photographer, Limos and Transportation, Hotels. 4. Atmosphere – Filled with love, joy, and happiness! 5. The amount of love, respect and professionalism that you receive. And so so much more!! This absolutely gorgeous venue is tucked back along the Chesapeake Bay. We worked with Jessica and she was absolutely phenomenal at helping us plan our day and making sure we got everything we wanted. The entire staff was pleasant and helpful throughout our wedding day. We didn't have to worry about searching for outside caterers or rentals because it is all included. And OH MY GOSH the food was amazing. We did a brunch wedding, which is not their typical menu and they totally blew it out of the park with their crab cake benedict. The groom and I never had to ask for food or drinks because we were taken care of and checked up on all day. There is no other place I would have wanted our wedding.

Silver Swan Bayside amazed me every step of my wedding. The venue is absolutely gorgeous and the staff are some of the best people you could ever ask for. Honestly, by the end of my wedding it felt like everyone was family. This venue is pricey but it is 100% worth their asking price. Paula and Dana were the two ladies I mainly had contact with and they went above and beyond to ensure that my wedding was everything i could ever imagine it to be and more. It's also a bonus that these are the most fantastic and welcoming people you will ever meet. I can say i have no complaints or regrets about using this venue and i highly recommend it to anyone who wants to have a spectacular water front wedding.

Silver Swan Bayside was the best decision I stumbled upon. With a little bit of a rocky beginning to my wedding planning the ladies at SSB made sure my planning process would be smooth sailing from that point on - and it was. Paula and Dana made me feel like I was at home every step of the way. They were so attentive and responsive, it makes you feel comfortable as you are approaching the big day. The space is so versatile, let your imagination go. I had a DIY wedding and was worried about who was going to actually put OUT the decorations. On the day of the rehearsal, I dropped everything off and Paula gave me a hug and said - go enjoy dinner and when you come back tomorrow it will all be done - and it was. Exactly how I envisioned it. My 4 tier cake had a fall on the way to the venue and my mom (who made it) was devistated. Without letting me know of this "issue", Paula pulled my mom aside and told her they would fix it up, "dont worry". When I saw the 2 tier cake on the wedding day - I had NO idea there was ever an issue! Needless to say, they are working for you the whole time you are with them. You will assume you are the only client they have. It is truly a destination wedding near home. I couldn't say better things about it. Go and I promise you will fall in love with it just as I did. I wish I could get married all over again! Thank you SSB!!

I can't say enough about the wonderful staff at Silver Swan. Everyone is extremely knowledgeable and helpful and very responsive via e-mail and phone. They are truly professional and experienced and will make sure your wedding day is beautiful and memorable. The food is amazing. Paula and Peggy are the best. No request is too small or large. I was hoping for an outdoor ceremony, but it rained on our wedding day and although it was moved inside, it was equally as gorgeous. The staff is very accommodating. The venue is a hidden gem, the views are breathtaking and our out of town guests (as well as locals) were so impressed. I wish I could go back and do it all again!

I recently had my wedding at the Silver Swan and could not have been any happier! The staff is amazing and so helpful! Dana, our wedding coordinator was so sweet and I cannot say enough wonderful things about her. She was very quick to respond to emails, always kept us updated, always available to answer questions, very flexible and accommodating. I did not have to worry about anything on the day of our wedding because the staff had everything taken care of. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful and I must say, the website does not do it justice. I would highly recommend this venue to anyone.

Silver Swan was the second venue my husband and I looked at and we fell in love. It has the most perfect view of the bay & is the perfect place to have a private wedding. The inside is decorated so beautifully, it makes you feel so at home. I had 160 guests and it was the perfect size for all of my tables, the dance floor, the bar ect., and they have a beautiful lawn area overlooking the bay where the ceremony takes place, but also guests can hang out on the lawn during the reception which gives people a chance to spread out. Our pictures came out amazing, with all of the beautiful scenery. Above all, Paula & Dana were fantastic wedding coordinators. They made sure everything was decorated as I asked, were there for suggestions & made sure that everything went off without a hitch. I had my rehearsal dinner, my ceremony & my reception at Silver Swan and I would not have changed a thing. The food, staff & venue were so amazing & I could not be more thankful for them making our wedding day the best we could have ever hoped for!

Our experience at the Silver Swan was nothing short of amazing! The entire staff is absolutely wonderful! The planning was so easy and everyone was so helpful. I live in Florida and was nervous about planning a wedding so far away. However, I had nothing to worry about because Paula and the team took care of everything…down to the last detail. The venue and views are absolutely breathtaking, the food is exquisite, and the Silver Swan staff is exceptional. We definitely had the wedding of our dreams!!!

My husband and I had our wedding reception at Silver Swan Bayside this past May and we could not have been more pleased with how everything turned out. Planning a wedding can be very stressful but SSB staff was so helpful and accomodating throughout the entire process. With all of our favors and decorations they created a beautiful space and even added their own items to really bring out the theme. Our guests were so impressed with the food and service and ofcourse the amazing location and view. We had 180 guests and although dinner was a little tight for space, the tented area and outdoor space gave guests plenty of space to talk and dance if they wanted. We are so excited with the way everything came together. We would highly suggest Silver Swan to all of our friends looking for a wedding venue!

I had my wedding at the Silver Swan June 9, 2012. Overall I absolutely loved the venue, it is stunningly beautiful. All of my pictures turned out beautifully, thanks to a gorgeous sunset on the water, and Artisic Imagez photography. We chose to do dinner stations in the tented portion of the venue and it worked well with 130 guests. They were transferring ownership when I was planning my wedding so I had to do three different tasting with three different chefs…annoying, but in the end the food was fantastic and plentiful. They even worked with me to craft food that wasn't offered on their menu. I also dealt with multiple wedding coordinators, two of whom were awful, one was fired after my wedding, not sure about the other one. Working with Paula, the CEO, and Roxanne, one of the coordinators was a wonderful experience and I'm pretty sure they're both still employed there. They were a wonderful help on the wedding day, and when we had difficulties with our contract from all the staff turnover, Paula straightened it all out immediately with nothing but apologies and a smile. Overall I loved my wedding, my guests raved about the location and the food, and if I had to do it all over again I would get married at the Silver Swan again. If you're choosing to get married here I would check on the AC in the bridal boat, it was insanely hot getting ready, hopefully they've upgraded it by now.

Beautiful venue however the air condition did not make the venue cold enough. We were all very very hot. Food was great!

Silver Swan Bayside gave us the beautiful water view that we were looking for to have our wedding. The view is unbeatable! We worked with Rosanna who is, as we understand, leaving soon and will be replaced by Leigh, both are great to work with and very nice. Our day was REALLY hot (June 29th). The ceremony was at 6pm and we had both ceremony and reception at the venue. If I could give one suggestion it would only be to pump more AC during the dinner hour. Then again I was running around taking pictures and had a ton of tulle under my dress, so I am sure I was warmer than the rest of our 160 guests. Food was AMAZING! Venue as a whole is beautiful! Staff and service were top notch :)

We had our wedding at Silver Swan Bayside on August 19, 2012 and we are so incredibly happy about how perfect our day was....all thanks to this awesome venue and its amazing staff. The venue itself is gorgeous…as soon as we saw it, we knew we found our place. It was intimate, quaint, yet large enough to accommodate all of our 150 guests. Not to mention the amazing views of the Chesapeake Bay and the Bay Bridge. It has a country/beachy yet elegant feel…nothing you will find at your typical hotel wedding venue. Little did we know that this place was not only gorgeous, but the staff would make the planning process and our wedding day even better then we imagined. We had a unique situation where we had two different ceremonies: we started out the day with a Hindu ceremony inside the porch area, followed by a Jewish ceremony outside by the water. Paula Safran, the COO, worked tirelessly to help us coordinate and plan both ceremonies and the reception. She and the venue gave us a huge amount of flexibility in our food selection, which we couldn't have found anywhere else! We chose the citrus chicken/Chilean sea bass and chef created a vegetarian pasta dish to accommodate the vegetarian guests. Our guests still tell us how delicious the food was! Everyone also raved about the venue and how it was the most beautiful place they've ever been to for a wedding! Paula even helped us rent a boat for the beginning of the Hindu ceremony, which is an idea we wouldn't have even thought of without her! This team will do anything to make you happy, personalize everything to your liking, and work on your behalf to make it happen! We can't say one bad thing about Silver Swan Bayside!! We feel so lucky to have found this place and would highly recommend it to anyone getting married on the Chesapeake. Thank you Paula, Katie, Rosanna, Val, and staff! Amazing, Amazing, Amazing!!!!

Everything was perfect!!! Loved the venue. Pics are amazing. Food/drinks were perfect.

From the outside, this place may not look like much, but take one step in or around back and it will take your breath away. The place is gorgeous- from the views of the bay to the classic dining room. I could not have asked for a venue that was more perfect for our wedding. Katie was the best...she even was taking care of my flowers last minute when some of the stems were too long. The only thing that I could possibly complain about was that the SSB's staffing changed a few times during the year of my engagement. First Joanne, then Val, and finally Katie. However, they all were so great that I didn't mind too much. All in all, everything was perfect and all of my NJ relatives are still complimenting me on the prettiest wedding they had ever been to!

Silver Swan Bayside was absolutely a beautiful place for our wedding. The water view is stunning and the people are fantastic. The chef is brilliant! People couldn't stop talking about the food. It truly was the best day of our lives.

They were more than accomodating. Amazing and Wonderful! The food was outstanding.

By far the worst vendor we worked with for our wedding. Lack of communication between the venue and myself, as well as between staff. There were several complete staff changes (people fired and new hired) between the time we booked the venue and our wedding day. Although the business management of Silver Swan is atrocious, there are some fantastic staff there. Our day of staff could not have been better. We basically had to replan our reception due to a power outage at Silver Swan the day of our wedding (why they have no generators we were not quite sure) and our day of coordinator, Katie Marrow, truly saved the day. She found us a new venue and had her staff move the entire reception (tables, food, drinks, etc.) there. Katie and the day of staff were fabulous, but I cannot say the same about the rest of our experience with Silver Swan.

I was very skeptical once we had issues with the management change, and had a few problems during the transition, but when it came down to getting the details hammered out and having my coordinators helping organize things, they really made my day amazing. The COO was so helpful and really made the transition as smooth as possible. She was so helpful in every way; each time I had a question or concern, she answered and did everything she could to make us happy. I spent A LOT of time on DIY projects and was a little obsessive with my organization, and they executed everything perfectly (it was a little hard to relinquish power and let everyone else handle stuff day of!). I cannot even begin to describe how many people complimented everything about the wedding. We had some guests call others who could not attend on the way home from the wedding to tell them how amazing the food was! We had a buffet and it tasted like it came right out of the pan from the kitchen. The coordinators were so amazing and helped everything go so perfectly. I couldn't have asked for a better venue. Absolute perfection!! We received thank you notes from guests who had such a great time and thought everything was amazing, now that is saying something!

As a mother-of-the-bride whose daughter recently married at the Silver Swan on September 5, 2011, I cannot say enough nice things about both the Silver Swan Venue and the Staff. The compliments from friends and family just keep coming in! Everyone commented that the Chesapeake Bay is indeed a beautiful place for an outdoor wedding. We chose the Silver Swan because it was all inclusive. I did not have to find a caterer, rent a tent, rent chairs etc. The Event Coordinator, Joanne, and her staff handled all of the details, were very professional and responded to any and all questions I had in a timely manner. The Tent area was a perfect place to dance and to take shelter from the rain, and the Dining area was a cozy place to eat and to be with our guests. The Staff accommodated our every need. The Chef and his staff did an outstanding job on the dinner preparations, and our menu selections were prepared exceptionally well. The wait staff kept the Hors D'oeuvres coming, and everyone was raving how delicious they were. The Swan has a Vendor list of those people they work with on a continual basis that they recommend. We did hire several of their Vendors and were extremely pleased. I would like to thank the entire Silver Swan staff who worked hard to ensure my daughter's wedding day was beyond her expectations. I hope to have another event at The Swan in the near future.

The Silver Swan is going through a lot of transitions right now and although things seemed disorganized at times with the frequent changing of the staff, our event went off without a hitch. Patrick was the STAR! He assured us that everything would be fantastic and it was!! Hats off to Patrick!! :)

The views were amazing!!! (almost 360 degree views of the bay on all sides). Also, the Bay Bridge is easily seen from the ceremony site offering a spectacular backdrop for a ceremony to take place. We had a sunset ceremony and the wedding photos turned out to be absolutely stunning! Now, for the negatives, the planning process was rather frustrating as we had 2 wedding coordinators and one cook leave the company in the time we were planning our wedding at the Silver Swan. The COO stepped in and took over as our coordinator, however she was very busy and not quick to respond to emails/calls, and it was very hard to reach anyone at the Venue by telephone. I believe they have hired several new coordinators and staff in the meantime, and they are probably properly trained by this time so this may not be a problem for future brides. Even still, with all of the hiccups in the planning process, the "day of" turned out to be amazing!!! Everything was perfect, exactly how I had imagined and the staff even went above and beyond by adding more decorations and little extras that fit our beach theme to the table settings, bar set-up, and cocktail tables (for example, they scattered loose seashells on the tables). Also, the baker forgot the white chocolate shells for our cake, so the Silver Swan staff helped her decorate it using real seashells to avoid the catastrophe of having a plain white cake that didn't fit with our theme. All of the guests raved that it was the best, most beautiful wedding they had ever been to. They also claimed it was the "funnest" and I'm sure that had to do with the open bar, which included not only, wine and liquor, but an extremely large selection of foreign and domestic beers that were offered gratis the Silver Swan for no extra cost as a surplus had been ordered for previous weddings. The staff also was very attentive to my husband and I on our wedding day and genuinely wanted to make sure it was the most special day of our lives. I would absolutely recommend this venue to anyone who asked me!

I won't say it went perfect (the ceremony didn't go the way it was supposed to, and I wasn't thrilled that when we where trying to take pictures, guests were not kept away) but overall, it was great. The the reception was awesome and people still can't stop talking about the how great the food was. The servers took great care of us, and everyone had a blast. A beautiful location and great night!

If you thinking about getting married at Silver Swan Bayside, DO IT!!! We were married there on August 12, 2011 and it was a dream come true! From the moment we booked our date with Silver Swan I began to have visions of how my wedding would turn out. Joanne, Kevin (the chef), and all of the staff at Silver Swan exceeded my expectations. There isn’t anything they wouldn’t do for us, or for our guests. From the ceremony on the lawn, the cocktail reception, the dinner, the set up, the food, the music, everything was perfect. Even the bridal boat was set up with everything and anything we could’ve wanted. I’m someone who asks a lot questions, and I always like to know everything in advance. My wedding coordinator Joanne did a wonderful job making sure I always had answers to my questions and that I felt at ease with all the decisions that have to be made when planning a wedding. They even changed chefs over the winter and I was worried that our food from our initial tasting wouldn’t be the same. She allowed us to come in and do second tasting with the new chef, and our menu turned out even better thanks to his expert suggestions. I’ve received so many calls and emails from our guests letting us know how much they loved the food. Without a doubt, it was a 5-star meal! Many of our guests even told me that it was one of THE best weddings they had ever been to. I would also recommend to the bride that when you make your grand entrance, walk down the boardwalk and not the aisle. I walked the boardwalk and to me, it just made a huge difference, and made for beautiful pictures. I could go on and on about how much I loved my wedding and my experience with Silver Swan. There's no doubt that Silver Swan is one of the most gorgeous waterfront wedding venues you will find in Maryland. (I know, because I visited about 20 of them and looked at many more of them online.) All of our guests keep talking about how gorgeous our wedding it was, and how much fun they had at Silver Swan. Our coordinator, Joanne, and the staff went above and beyond the day of the wedding to make sure we had a memorable day. They even went out of the way to get us certain decorations we wanted, a particular beer that was out of season, and threw in a complimentary champagne toast for us. The only reason I am not giving them the 5 is that several months before the wedding, we had a change in our coordinator and chef and the transition was a bit rocky. (We had to call to find out why no one was answering our e-mails.) Additionally, the response time from staff in the months leading up to the wedding was not always as fast as I would have liked, but it was much better closer to the wedding. Overall, Silver Swan is a gorgeous venue for the money that you will spend, but I think some additional coordinators would vastly improve service when you work with them during the planning phase.

silver swan went through a couple of coordinator and chefs changes after we had booked with them. we went through a slight rocky period with playing phone tag and confidence in getting everything done. however, i should have just trusted them to do their job...cause it was fabulous! most of our guests came up to us and said it was the best food they had ever had a wedding and that it was the best wedding they had ever been to. we had the time of our lives and everything was beyond gorgeous. the service was incredible, they went above and beyond to ensure it was flawless. my cousin, who lives on the water in san diego, california, said it was the most beautiful wedding location in the world. we couldn't have been happier. it really was our dream wedding.

The staff at silver swan was absolutely great! We got tons of comments on our food, which was phenomenal! I would recommend this venue to everyone!

I loved the location, and it definitely fit the laid back venue we were looking for. However, I disliked the way certain issues were handled by the event coordinator.

What we thought was our best decision turned out to be our worst. We really got lucky finding this place, which was off the map originally, but then our luck turned bad when we met the wedding coordinator Taylor. Let me begin by saying this is a beautiful location with well kept grounds, lots of boats and a nicely renovated “once-tent-now-building,” ideal for a seaside wedding. Quite a nice combination when you open up the tent flaps. Yes, tent flaps which did not really fit into the place because they look like unattractive tent flaps with big rope X’s across certain immovable sections. Otherwise, it turns an outdoor view into an overall splendid venue with an indoor/outdoor patio. The equipment is top notch from the black chivari chairs to the silverware, glasses, plates, bar and tea/coffee set. They offer rentals for colored overlays (which didn’t make sense because colored tablecloths were free), a delicious menu, and valet parking. Please do not let any of this fool you into thinking you are safe in getting what you asked or paid for, all because of Taylor and a few of her staff. It began with the meeting of assistant Kathy who seemed quite inconvenienced with us wanting to discuss details about a possible wedding without making a down-payment. When our first venue fell through, we tried talking dates with Taylor Kshimetski, my worst nightmare. It took almost 2 weeks for us to get a date down because one day it was open, the next it wasn’t, and so on. This also happened with the planning meetings. Having all the Bridal Party live 3 hours away in Maryland and Virginia I became quite, quite, QUITE unhappy with all the date swapping. After confirming the date for a noon wedding, she then tells us the hours are limited. We ended up having to move the ceremony back an hour and shortening the reception by an hour to accommodate changes in the wedding after ours, which was obviously more important than ours (but we saved $500 for our truncated event). At the planning meeting we called four times, yes four, to remind Taylor that the menu the cook was serving up couldn’t have seafood because many members of the family were allergic. Each time was apparently her first time hearing it, because two days before the chef was going to make crab cakes. Then, the chef had an emergency (understandable) which would have canceled the tasting on the only weekend we had available if we had not told Taylor we would be there regardless and someone would have to make something. Her excuses were completely bogus, because in the end they obviously found someone. And during the entire process she was so hard to get a hold of it became our private joke that apparently Taylor had four days a week off, and was too busy the other three. Thank God for Amelia helping pass along messages. Even e-mails went unanswered along with phone call messages, which didn’t matter because it all went in one ear and out the other anyway. Forgetting a hundred tiny inconveniences, let’s move on to the big day. My frustrations began with her at the rehearsal when she ignored us and acted extremely inconvenienced while we sat on the back porch an hour before our rehearsal to assemble centerpieces and last minute decorations. She then “confidentially” criticized the centerpieces for another wedding that day, before commenting to that bride that our centerpieces looked cheap when she thought we couldn’t hear. When it was time for the rehearsal, she seemed like she had no clue wh

Everything was perfect EXCEPT the table linens. The coordinator printed out and used the original plan w/ ivory linens instead of the updated one w/ lilac linens. Besides that everything went very well.

I had the pleasure of working with Taylor from the Silver Swan. Although we did not use the location we used the Silver Swan Catering Services. Taylor was wonderful and helped me out everytime I needed it. She was kind and made herself available when I needed her. The staff that came to my wedding were wonderful as well. They came, did their job, and left. They were polite to my guests and willing to make the effort to make the day perfect. Now for the food. The Silver Swan provided some of the very best food I have ever had. The food we had at the food tasting was amazing! I still tell everyone how amazing I think their food is and I could not have had better food at my wedding. I am still getting compliments on the food. I would recommend the Silver Swan over and over. I hope to have the opportunity to use them in the future!

Silver Swan Bayside is a beautiful venue and was the perfect size for our event. We had about 100 people, but if you have more than that it may be a little small. There were a few details I was unhappy with-- the table cloths were not the ones we had picked (and paid extra for) and some of the appetizers had been changed from our selections. Other than those details which on my wedding day were insignificant, I was happy with Silver Swan. They were much more reasonably priced than other venues we looked at in the Annapolis and Kent Island areas. All of our guests had a great time, the food was amazing, the service was great and the scenery couldn't be beat.

We LOVED our wedding venue. It was such a beautiful and unique location - most guests didn't even know it existed which we loved. Who wants to have their wedding at a generic place everyone has been to already? We received a ton of complements about the venue we chose and couldn't have been happier with our decision to have it there. We got so much for what we paid for and the food was delicious.
