They were very flexible with our meal choices and they allowed us to wait until the very last minute to make the call on having the ceremony inside versus outside due to the threat of rain. We ended up being able to have the ceremony outside which is everything we wanted. We had a ton of compliments from our guests on the venue. Emily and her team did an amazing job setting up our decor, favors, etc. and everything looked amazing. I would highly recommend getting married at Silver Swan Bayside!

She was so good at getting us through the rehearsal and timing everything out. She went above and beyond in bring my vision to life with all my decor!!! She is fantastic!!!! The food here was so delicious. Most of the time wedding food is not great and always dry bit our salmon and grilled pork chops were beyond delicious and so tender! For catering and open bar for 60 people plus ceremony and venue fee it was quite affordable! All my guests were really happy with the venue and the food!! 10/10 highly recommend!!

. Everyone from Emily to the bartenders and staff to the chef, all made our day an absolute dream. They were all so great to work with. Whenever I had a question, Emily responded immediately. We dropped off our decor the day before and the staff set it all up for us exactly how we were envisioning it to look. The food was absolutely amazing!! My husband and I are both gluten free and everything, including the crab cakes, on the menu was gluten free. I wish it was a restaurant, so we could go back and enjoy all of the delicious food and the gorgeous views again. If you’re looking for a perfect waterfront wedding, this is definitely the place you’re looking for!

venue left everyone absolutely speechless- even with a thunder storm in the middle of it. They made sure that the guests we had with dietary restrictions were all taken care of. They allowed us to borrow table numbers and votive candles. They made it all so easy for us! Thank you for everything!!

d Silver Swan and both immediately knew it was the one. The views of the bay are unmatched! Every single guest we’ve talked to since the wedding has commented on how absolutely beautiful the venue is and asked us how we found them. We were fortunate to have beautiful weather for our wedding day, but we loved that even if it rained, we would still have waterfront views indoors, as well. That was definitely something that made Silver Swan stand out from the other waterfront venues we visited. We worked with Caitlin as our day-of coordinator and she was absolutely amazing. Throughout the entire planning process, she was so accommodating and easy to communicate with. She answered all of our emails quickly and always had an answer for whatever logistical question we had. On the day of our wedding, Caitlin was such a calming and positive presence (as was the rest of the staff), and we felt confident that they would handle every single detail so that we could relax and enjoy the day. We could tell they truly cared about us and ensured our day was exactly as we envisioned it. They set up everything so beautifully and broke everything down/cleaned it up as well, which was a huge stress off of our plates! The attention to detail that Caitlin and the rest of the staff at Silver Swan put into our day was so appreciated and helped make our day perfect.

e sunsets. We were happy to use their in-house caterer and thought the food was good (the salmon was delicious!). We opted into the late night food and the chef was willing to work with us to come up with something fun that was off-menu. Our guests raved all night about the scenic views, the food, the staff. So many people asked, "how did you find this place?!" Even almost a month later, friends and family are still telling me how great it all was. We were fortunate to have beautiful weather but they have a solid rain plan. But a beautiful venue is nothing without great people to make the wedding happen and I think that's where SSB really shines. Caitlin was phenomenal to work with. I'm sure she does 100+ weddings a year but from the very first time we met she always made me feel like our wedding was her only priority, whether we were 10 months or 10 days out. She was always friendly, professional, and very easy to communicate with. I felt that the venue and services were priced very fairly, comparable to other venues we looked at. A lot was included for what we paid. I have absolutely nothing negative to say about Silver Swan, would 100% book again.

❤️ We chose to hold our ceremony and wedding photos at Silver Swan Bayside in Oct 2018 and it all went without a hitch bc of Caitlyn. She was prompt, sweet and I wish she’d been with us all day! I cannot stress enough how wonderful the facility was and particularly working with her. We were there for only 2 hours but it’s still my most magical memory.

Fast forward to our wedding day and again, everything was perfect. Emily kept us on schedule, the decorations were set up perfectly and the entire day went exactly as I had hoped. In addition to all of this, my grandmother fell about 10 minutes before I was supposed to walk down the aisle, due to her age they had to call EMS, Emily managed all of this without me even knowing (at my family’s request) having staff meet the ambulance and having them arrive without lights or sirens. From start to finish, everything was perfect. I can’t say enough how much I recommend this venue and especially Emily!

She took care of everything we could think of, was so sweet, and extremely professional. There wasn't a single thing the venue didn't think of or assist with. Our flowers immediately fell apart and Caitlin was right there doing everything she could to fix them. Every person we encountered from the venue was caring and sweet. At the end of the day both my wife's and my family had nothing but good things to say about the venue and the staff. We learned the next day the staff felt the same for our family. I truly believe the icing on the cake was how multiple staff members expressed how much love was in the room, such a small detail made us feel so loved. Would recommend this venue a thousand times over!

beer glasses, the food was horrible, They use Flamant, They just catered my daughters wedding at Silver Swan Baysideon 7/27/19. The food that we tasted was NOT what we were given. The beef tenderloin was the size of a silver dollar, and 1/4 " thick plus cost me and extra $10ppr!! The green pea risotto which was green and very good at the food tasting, was now white with a few peas.The crab cakes had shells in it. The childrens chicken fingers with french fries was twice the size of our dinner. Plus it was ICE COLD.. What an embarrassment! Our guests left hungry!! Don't use them to cater your meals!!

The inside (reception area) also has glass walls, so guests will always have a view of the beautiful scenery. We worked with Caitlin, our wedding coordinator, who was so sweet, helpful, accommodating, and worked so hard from beginning to end to make our wedding our dream. Even when it came to adding cultural elements, such as to food, desserts, decorations and timeline, she worked with us and the venue to make everything coordinate beautifully. The whole process was so easy, and they have back up plans for everything (for rain, etc). Not only do you get their venue and gorgeous view, but they also let you use a variety of decorations, furniture, wedding archs and more. You have to use their food caterer, but that was no problem because the food was amazing (even with our morning wedding, they accommodated our desires and provided us with the dinner menu,, which was DELICIOUS!). The vendors that they do NOT provide are DJ, Cake, Photography and Videography, Floral Arrangements, and Transportation. However, they provided us with a large list of recommended vendors who work often with SSB, so it's easy to get those set up. Silver Swan was also the only venue that was very transparent and honest on pricing right off the bat during our first meeting (BTW, the prices are extremely reasonable). They included all fees and tip amounts into our quote, so that we wouldn't have any hidden fees or unexpected expenses by the time of our wedding. Our wedding went off without a hitch (even with the forecast of rain!) and we enjoyed everything about it! Our guests raved to us about the wedding afterward, from the food to the gorgeous views. The kids enjoyed playing on the lawn and the beach area, and we were able to invite our friends' sweet dogs, who also enjoyed the beautiful outdoors. Our pictures came out amazing, with all of the beautiful scenery (many of our friends changed their profile pictures to ones taken from our wedding, by the bay, which made us so happy to see!) We are thankful to Silver Swan for coordinating our wedding and giving us such a memorable experience. A big thanks to Caitlin for all her hard work, kindness, prompt and thorough replies, attention to detail, and so much more. We couldn't have asked for a better wedding coordinator to help us with preparing for and running the big day. We are beyond pleased with our experience at this venue and we strongly recommend them!

Caitlin Farrell was our coordinator, we LOVED her! She was extremely organized, responsive, flexible and an amazing listener, remembering every want and need we discussed. She always kept our best interest in mind! Silver Swan has welcomed us back for champagne and sunset time to maintain a relationship. They truly are wonderful venue, highly recommend!

nce and I fell in love with the beautiful view of the Chesapeake Bay, the garden, and the elegant dining space. Our coordinator Caitlin was super helpful and responsive every step of the way with walkthroughs and our tasting. Any time I had a question or concern, she was on it. The food was absolutely delicious- fresh seafood and unique entrees. It was so nice to have ceremony and reception contained in one place- and made it really easy for guests to enjoy cocktail hour while we took our pictures- which turned out gorgeous thanks to the lighting and view. One of the things that really made a difference for us is the team's willingness to both set up and tear down centerpieces and decor for us. No one wants to pack boxes when it's late at night after your big day! The dining room and glass pavillion are intimate, gorgeous spaces. I wouldn't recommend a huge wedding here, but it worked perfectly for ours of about 80 people. We were concerned about rain, but I felt much more at ease knowing that we had a plan B inside the glass pavillion. While our small wedding was pricey, I would do it here again a hundred times over. thank you so much, Caitlin and the SSB team!

g during the wedding day, she was so helpful throughout the entire planning process. She was quick to answer our emails and calls and even helped us with our timeline and to help vendors. She kept all our information very organized and made finalizing the smaller details way easier. Couldn't have done it without her. For the venue itself it was absolutely perfect. After the ceremony, the entire bridal party went back to the bridal suite area where they had champagne and apps waiting for us. The food was AMAZING, all our guests raved about it. They even had fresh squeezed juices at the bar. We dropped of all our decorations a few days early and Caitlin had the venue set for us when we came to rehearsal. The view at this venue is just breathtaking. Everything from the ceremony to dinner to dancing flowed perfectly. I will recommend this venue over and over again!

The venue literally has the most beautiful sunsets I've ever seen. The property is so well-kept with many different types of scenery for amazing photos. The food blew us away. We were really impressed with the consistency and had many guests compliment it! The bar tenders were also amazing- fun and professional. If you're thinking of ANY other waterfront venue, I'd highly recommend silver swan. Amazing communication, great staff and over-all the most beautiful space!

er Swan Bayside. We thought the venue was gorgeous and according to many of our guests who blew up our phones the day after - they agreed. Beautiful crown molding, hardwood floors, a bead board bar with a deep dark wood top, stone fireplace with mantel and a breathtaking view secured our choice. But even more so was the fact that we knew, even if it rained, it would still be a spectacular setting. An all glass enclosed reception area with a billowing white canopy decorated with bistro lights and attractive chandeliers would have made a thunderstorm on the bay enchanting. We got lucky and had a stunning sunset. Caitlin, our coordinator, was fantastic - detailed and came with great ideas. Dave - the head dude - was incredible - so personable that the day we came back after our wedding to pick up all of our decorations, etc., he gave us a bottle of champagne so we could sit on the Adirondack chairs on the pier and take it all in one last time. And because these things matter, the cake and dessert boxes sitting on the table waiting for us when we arrived were cold - so we knew they had refrigerated them - (some other vendors might have not bothered). Our plated dinners, again, according to so many of our guests, were delicious - surprisingly so for catered food for 140 people. The new Belgian Chef should be a draw for anyone considering Silver Swan. The servers could not have been more mannerly and charming. Many staff throughout the night congratulated us - an unnecessary but absolutely lovely touch. The Bridal Suite was newly renovated and a comfortable and tasteful place to hang out for a nervous bride and her party! There was a bottle of champagne on ice waiting for us when we walked in - again, another classy touch to add to the experience. All a great memory.

ew, Silver Swan offers guests the option to wander around the beach, boardwalk, lawn, various patios, glass pavilion and marina instead of being trapped in one room for the entire event. We worked with Caitlin who was always so friendly, professional, flexible and responsive. Having everything in-house (catering, tables, linens, etc.) made the planning experience a breeze. Deciding on our menu was the most difficult decision, as we loved just about everything we tasted. Highly recommend the chicken & waffles for an hors d'oeuvre! Our wedding was mid-July with around 150 guests, and we had both our ceremony and reception at the venue. The overall atmosphere was laid-back, intimate and fun. Being such a gorgeous venue with beautiful landscaping, we did not have to add excessive decorations. Can't say enough nice things about the venue and staff at Silver Swan - we had the wedding of our dreams!

My husband and I got married on August 8th, 2015, and I have spent every day since trying to think of a way to get married every year at Silver Swan! There are numerous aspects that make Silver Swan the PERFECT place to get married: 1. The Staff - Professional Event Specialists 2. The Breathtaking Views 3. verything we wanted. The entire staff was pleasant and helpful throughout our wedding day. We didn't have to worry about searching for outside caterers or rentals because it is all included. And OH MY GOSH the food was amazing. We did a brunch wedding, which is not their typical menu and they totally blew it out of the park with their crab cake benedict. The groom and I never had to ask for food or drinks because we were taken care of and checked up on all day. There is no other place I would have wanted our wedding.

Paula and Dana were the two ladies I mainly had contact with and they went above and beyond to ensure that my wedding was everything i could ever imagine it to be and more. It's also a bonus that these are the most fantastic and welcoming people you will ever meet. I can say i have no complaints or regrets about using this venue and i highly recommend it to anyone who wants to have a spectacular water front wedding.

I had a DIY wedding and was worried about who was going to actually put OUT the decorations. On the day of the rehearsal, I dropped everything off and Paula gave me a hug and said - go enjoy dinner and when you come back tomorrow it will all be done - and it was. Exactly how I envisioned it. My 4 tier cake had a fall on the way to the venue and my mom (who made it) was devistated. Without letting me know of this "issue", Paula pulled my mom aside and told her they would fix it up, "dont worry". When I saw the 2 tier cake on the wedding day - I had NO idea there was ever an issue! Needless to say, they are working for you the whole time you are with them. You will assume you are the only client they have. It is truly a destination wedding near home. I couldn't say better things about it. Go and I promise you will fall in love with it just as I did. I wish I could get married all over again! Thank you SSB!!

I was hoping for an outdoor ceremony, but it rained on our wedding day and although it was moved inside, it was equally as gorgeous. The staff is very accommodating. The venue is a hidden gem, the views are breathtaking and our out of town guests (as well as locals) were so impressed. I wish I could go back and do it all again!

I had 160 guests and it was the perfect size for all of my tables, the dance floor, the bar ect., and they have a beautiful lawn area overlooking the bay where the ceremony takes place, but also guests can hang out on the lawn during the reception which gives people a chance to spread out. Our pictures came out amazing, with all of the beautiful scenery. Above all, Paula & Dana were fantastic wedding coordinators. They made sure everything was decorated as I asked, were there for suggestions & made sure that everything went off without a hitch. I had my rehearsal dinner, my ceremony & my reception at Silver Swan and I would not have changed a thing. The food, staff & venue were so amazing & I could not be more thankful for them making our wedding day the best we could have ever hoped for!

The venue and views are absolutely breathtaking, the food is exquisite, and the Silver Swan staff is exceptional. We definitely had the wedding of our dreams!!!

With all of our favors and decorations they created a beautiful space and even added their own items to really bring out the theme. Our guests were so impressed with the food and service and ofcourse the amazing location and view. We had 180 guests and although dinner was a little tight for space, the tented area and outdoor space gave guests plenty of space to talk and dance if they wanted. We are so excited with the way everything came together. We would highly suggest Silver Swan to all of our friends looking for a wedding venue!

They were transferring ownership when I was planning my wedding so I had to do three different tasting with three different chefs…annoying, but in the end the food was fantastic and plentiful. They even worked with me to craft food that wasn't offered on their menu. I also dealt with multiple wedding coordinators, two of whom were awful, one was fired after my wedding, not sure about the other one. Working with Paula, the CEO, and Roxanne, one of the coordinators was a wonderful experience and I'm pretty sure they're both still employed there. They were a wonderful help on the wedding day, and when we had difficulties with our contract from all the staff turnover, Paula straightened it all out immediately with nothing but apologies and a smile. Overall I loved my wedding, my guests raved about the location and the food, and if I had to do it all over again I would get married at the Silver Swan again. If you're choosing to get married here I would check on the AC in the bridal boat, it was insanely hot getting ready, hopefully they've upgraded it by now.

ng soon and will be replaced by Leigh, both are great to work with and very nice. Our day was REALLY hot (June 29th). The ceremony was at 6pm and we had both ceremony and reception at the venue. If I could give one suggestion it would only be to pump more AC during the dinner hour. Then again I was running around taking pictures and had a ton of tulle under my dress, so I am sure I was warmer than the rest of our 160 guests. Food was AMAZING! Venue as a whole is beautiful! Staff and service were top notch :)

The venue itself is gorgeous…as soon as we saw it, we knew we found our place. It was intimate, quaint, yet large enough to accommodate all of our 150 guests. Not to mention the amazing views of the Chesapeake Bay and the Bay Bridge. It has a country/beachy yet elegant feel…nothing you will find at your typical hotel wedding venue. Little did we know that this place was not only gorgeous, but the staff would make the planning process and our wedding day even better then we imagined. We had a unique situation where we had two different ceremonies: we started out the day with a Hindu ceremony inside the porch area, followed by a Jewish ceremony outside by the water. Paula Safran, the COO, worked tirelessly to help us coordinate and plan both ceremonies and the reception. She and the venue gave us a huge amount of flexibility in our food selection, which we couldn't have found anywhere else! We chose the citrus chicken/Chilean sea bass and chef created a vegetarian pasta dish to accommodate the vegetarian guests. Our guests still tell us how delicious the food was! Everyone also raved about the venue and how it was the most beautiful place they've ever been to for a wedding! Paula even helped us rent a boat for the beginning of the Hindu ceremony, which is an idea we wouldn't have even thought of without her! This team will do anything to make you happy, personalize everything to your liking, and work on your behalf to make it happen! We can't say one bad thing about Silver Swan Bayside!! We feel so lucky to have found this place and would highly recommend it to anyone getting married on the Chesapeake. Thank you Paula, Katie, Rosanna, Val, and staff! Amazing, Amazing, Amazing!!!!

classic dining room. I could not have asked for a venue that was more perfect for our wedding. Katie was the best...she even was taking care of my flowers last minute when some of the stems were too long. The only thing that I could possibly complain about was that the SSB's staffing changed a few times during the year of my engagement. First Joanne, then Val, and finally Katie. However, they all were so great that I didn't mind too much. All in all, everything was perfect and all of my NJ relatives are still complimenting me on the prettiest wedding they had ever been to!
