he whole process easy. I chose a package for a Thursday and was given flower and arch options that fit the look I wanted. Everything from ceremony, hair and make and photography was a pleasure. Simple Weddings created a beautiful setting for my husband and family to celebrate. Simple Weddings made the whole process easy and would send me information and notes months before the ceremony and they executed everything I wanted beautifully. I loved that everything was taken care of in-house so I just had to let Amber know what I wanted, such as having hair and make-up for myself and my daughter, and then Justina came to my rental to make everyone feel beautiful. Dylan did an awesome job with our photos and was able to capture both loving and stunning photos along with some photos that captured family members' goofy sides. I can not recommend Simple Weddings enough if you want a one-stop shop for a vow renewal or an awesome beach wedding.

You both focused on being in the moment and truly enjoying your special day. And among the happy moments, there were those super sentimental ones - as you know there wasn't a dry eye on the patio when you danced in memory of your dad. We love the photos, too! With covid initially ruining our initial wedding plans, it was jokingly suggested by both our parents that we go and elope somewhere warm on a beach. Still wanting the big wedding, we researched a little To just look and came across simple wedd...
ings. Being within our budget, we reached out to just get some information.
We ended up deciding on a very small micro wedding with our immediate family and had invited our wedding party and planned the big party down the road when we are able to do so. I cant tell you how easy simple weddings made everything especially with having covid trying to ruin your wedding plans on several different occasions. Everyone told me I was crazy for going to florida to get married amongst the pandemic and that I should have looked at local places that were “safe within our state.” In all honesty, I actually felt more safe than going to a local grocery store.
Amber and Anthony were so welcoming! They are beyond budget friendly with several different packages offered. Amber was such an amazing wedding planner and guided us through the whole process of what we needed, local places/vendors and how to even obtain an out of state marriage license in impeccable detail.
We even had threats of hurricanes days prior to the wedding and Amber had a plan A, B, and C. Even dealing with covid, we were well informed on any state changes and what was going to be required. I cant stress enough to how wonderful and helpful Amber was.
I would highly recommend simple weddings to anyone looking for a beach wedding.

I am an admitted control freak, and was an event planner for many years, so I had definite ideas on how I wanted the day to transpire. Simple Weddings delivered on all levels.
I still cry when I reflect on the beautiful ceremony Anthony performed. Amber’s creative flair made the venue look exactly as I had envisioned it. The set-up, decorations, lighting, music, photographer, steel-drummer, caterer and baker were all recommended (or part of the SW team), by Amber and were again, the picture of professionalism and made our day so memorable for us and our guests. And the best part…I didn’t have to lift a finger! They made it so easy.
We can’t thank you enough for making our dream come true. We waited ten years to tie the knot and you gave us a day to cherish forever.

Amber was our wedding coordinator and met us at (many, many) tastings and conducted conference calls with us for an entire year in preparation for our big day. I like planners, I like details and I LOVE checklists and feeling like everything is exactly where it needs to be. Amber was awesome when it came to checklists and details. She’s also very personable and shared some great lessons learned with us as we made decisions in the process.
On our big day - she was cool, calm and collected which kept me calm and focused. Her small team worked tirelessly for hours to make it perfect and it was absolutely beautiful. Every single detail was cared for, and she even suggested a special champagne toast at 9:11 that evening to recognize the importance of the time in our lives which will be a special memory for us.

enty minutes after our original start time (which was fine because we had such a small wedding), so by the time everything was moved and set up, we were racing the clock to have enough daylight for photos. Amber (who did my hair and make up and who did a wonderful job) and Anthony (who was our officiant) worked so hard to make a mediocre pavilion look as nice as possible for us. While the decorations were nothing over the top, and we were missing a lot of the original elements we wanted because they got rained on or there wasn’t time to set them up, everything was still very nice. They were even kind enough to let my now husband ride with them to the new location so we could keep the one tradition we had for our day of not seeing each other before the wedding. Our wedding planner, Shanna, was really helpful in the beginning, but we felt like over time her level of interest wained. She was always very nice, but we felt like we were sending redundant emails to her and going over things we had already previously told her every time we talked to her. Our photographer, Brandi, took absolutely beautiful pictures giving the difficult circumstances. We were able to get some beautiful beach photos despite the weather. The pictures of the wedding were not perfect, but we know she did the best she could. She was a little hard to work with that day (honestly, she just seemed stressed over the weather), but was apologetic when she wasn’t able to get a shot we wanted. Our day-of-coordinator (I honestly don’t even remember her name) really wasn’t that helpful. We talked very breifly, and she really offered us no information we didn’t already have (though she did make several phones calls to try and find a location to move our wedding to because of the rain). Since Anthony was our officiant, he called the day before the wedding to go over our vows. He performed the ceremony beautifully, even our parents loved him and the things he said. He filed our license for us with the court house the next day so we didn’t have to drive there and we could enjoy our vacation with our family. I would highly recommend Simple Weddings. My advice is that you be highly involved in all the decision making, and if you feel the weather isn’t ideal enough for your big day, go with your gut and move the ceremony early so you get exactly what you want so its not as hectic and rushed as our day was. ed us decide on a beach to get married on, find the perfect place to stay and helped with arranging a private room at a local restaurant for dinner after the ceremony, none of which I could have accomplished on my own in our 5.5 month time-frame for planning.
We used Dorothy as our photographer and she did a phenomenal job, we LOVE our final product. We also highly recommend paying extra for the videographer, we love having the entire ceremony on a flash-drive to go back and reminisce and show our loved ones that could not make the trip to Florida.
The only suggestion I would have from our experience is a better option for playing the ceremony music (maybe a bluetooth speaker?). While it didn't affect me, our guests did say that they were unable to hear it...it also did not help that it was a windy evening. But with that said, Ken and I did not even notice and it did not affect the outcome. I was extremely happy with everything from start to finish and would highly recommend Simple Weddings to anyone I know wanting a destination beach wedding.

His delivery is professional, yet personal, and he adds humor to his ceremonies to help balance the sentimentality and spirituality. It's the perfect balance and what you want as a bride on the beach! He and the day-of coordinator, Desiree also made sure that our music cues were spot on as we had different processional songs for the members of our wedding party. Music is very important to my husband and me, and we were glad this was part of the Simple Weddings' service.

Well, Hurricane Irma had other plans for us! Days before the big day, our venue evacuated, catering cancelled, guests flights were cancelled and just 12 hours before the wedding, both my hair salon and make-up studio called to say they were unable to assist me, as they would be closed on my wedding day. Within minutes, my wedding officiant made a few phone calls and was able to get in touch with Amber. Everyone converged at my home that Saturday ready to make our day the best wedding ever. And they did!
Without ever meeting me or knowing my style, Amber took my vision for my hair and make-up and made me feel like a beautiful bride!
I cannot thank her enough for making our wedding day absolutely amazing and definitely unforgettable.

We stayed at Tradewinds Island Grand Resort and got married on Pass-a-Grille Beach through Simple Weddings. Amber was my makeup artist/hair stylist who came to me. best decision that we made. Claire is absolutely wonderful. The whole wedding day I kept thinking "Thank Goodness we hired Claire!" She and her assistant coordinated all of the vendors, created a timeline for the day and execute the event so that everything ran smoothly. Only days after the wedding did I have any knowledge that a few of the wait staff had car trouble and were late, etc...these were issues that Claire took care of without me even knowing. It was such a relief to know that someone was in charge and I could just enjoy the day with my fmaily and friends. Our photographer, Claire, went above and beyond our expectations. Our pictures looked like they could be in a magazine. It made it easy for me as the bride along with the rest of the wedding party and all of our guests to simply relax and enjoy the ceremony and being with friends and family. Anthony & Amber have been friends since they went to high school together in Indiana!
Amber serves as Director of Operations. She is also an ordained minister (non-denominational), wedding planner and trained hair & makeup artist. Brides frequently choose Amber to provide both makeup and officiant services for their weddings.
Anthony serves as Director of Sales & Marketing. He is also a ceremony officiant and wedding coordinator. He believes the most valuable thing we do as wedding planners is to make the wedding day and entire planning process as fun and relaxed as possible.
