The team behind Simple Weddings has spent over a decade cultivating relationships with professional vendor partners who share our commitment to client services. While we are known as beach wedding experts, we created our packages to work at a variety of different ceremony and reception locations, so we can adapt to any venue.
Our owners, Anthony and Amber, have enjoyed rich and varied careers in related industries that give us a broad range of relevant experience. Anthony, known as The Florida Wedding Guy, spent over a decade in marketing and design in baby and juvenile products. He is often the first point of contact for inquiries. Amber is a Jill-of-all-trades having worked in family law, sailing, and the funeral industry. She is a Certified Wedding Planner and florist who manages the logistics and coordination teams. With a diverse team of planners, photographers, officiants, and vendors, our aim has always been to create sentimental weddings that run smoothly. Today, the business has been a multi-year Hall of Fame award recipient along with a host of other industry awards.
Traditionally, wedding planning means that couples have to choose 10-14 different vendors, review a variety of contracts, and pay multiple separate deposits. But Simple Weddings offers comprehensive, customizable ceremony and reception packages for all preferences and budgets. With in-house services and established third-party relationships, we remove the multi-contract headaches. Because our wedding services include options for photography, videography, floral design, plus catering, bar, and entertainment, we are the one choice you need to make.

Tina was so wonderful to work with. We live in Pennsylvania and got married in Florida and she made everything so easy. Our hair stylist who we got through them, Camry, was wonderful. She did such a great job and made us all feel so beautiful. Our photographer Heather was so great as well. She did so many different types of shots so that we could get as many in as time permitted. Anthony was our officiant and he did such a wonderful job and had such a great personality. While I’ll never need to use them again, I would highly recommend that you do!

Simple Weddings planned and set up our wedding in St. Pete back in January 2024 and the day went off without a hitch. It really felt magical to us and our guests had a blast. Amber has a wealth of experience, and we leaned on her expertise the whole way.
Services we used from SW were wedding planning & coordinating, flowers, photographer & videographer, make up artist, and supplies like the arch, chairs, and linens. If you're considering getting married on a lawn, SW has arches made for that, whereas some of the other beach wedding companies in the area don't.
Amber has a ton of knowledge about flowers and bouquets, so if you're struggling on decisions, definitely ask her. To save money, she advised on using silk flowers in some places and they turned out great. We also really loved our photos and video highlights - I know those are more subjective things, but we saved a lot of money by going through SW. So if you're budget conscious, just letting you know we had a great experience with this aspect too.
Overall, we were happy with everyone we worked with at SW! Everyone was so professional and answered all our questions during planning. The day of, they arrived early, we didn't have to worry about anything from start to finish, and they were so supportive and caring about us and our guests. We will definitely recommend them to our friends if they choose FL for a destination wedding.

I cannot say enough good things about Amber and her team! Amber was always prompt when responding to e mails/texts, took time to have video conferences with me, was so patient and helpful…all the things!!! She really knows her stuff and is SO GOOD AT IT ALL!! Everyone raved about the food we had from the catering company they work with. Heather and Rod (photographer and videographer) worked so well together and made taking pictures fun (my husband HATES taking photos and didn’t complain once!). Not to mention we got our photos back 3 days after the ceremony! Our ceremony and reception decorations were a dream and it all came from them, it was better than I could have ever hoped for. Amber kept things running the day of the ceremony and kept everyone on time, which I loved because it gave us plenty of time to dance and have fun, which is what we wanted. I am forever thankful that we found this team and highly, highly recommend them!!!!! They are fabulous!

Amber of Simple Weddings Florida & her entire team of vendors were absolutely incredible!!! They went above & beyond to make our day special. All of the planning leading up to the big day was made very easy working with Amber. Every detail was covered from the altar/seating, hair/makeup, photography/videography, florals, day of coordination, ext. and for a reasonable cost. Being from out of town all of this was essential! Our wedding was exactly what I wanted! They made my dream of getting married on the beach barefoot come true! Our videographer of Rod Baker Videos was THE BEST! Our video is priceless! We were initially skeptical if a wedding planner was worthwhile. Well, we were more than satisfied with Simple Wedding's process, thoughtfulness, attention to detail and the ease of working together. They made our Beach Wedding day perfect and free from worrying about all the details. From the initial consultation with Anthony to the ceremony with Amber and everything in between (timeline, photographer, reception, DJ, bartender, decorations, caterer, etc.); everything worked out better than perfect. We will have this day to remember for rest of our lives and Simple Weddings made that possible. We highly recommend Simple Weddings for your big day. You will not be disappointed.
We had our wedding on Anna Maria Island in April of 2023 with Simple Weddings. What an absolutely gorgeous event!! We enjoyed working with Amber and her knowledgeable team. Working with simple weddings was the best decision we made. Planning was fun and easy. Filling out our wedding worksheets on date nights were really fun. Amber always kept us in the loop with consistent meetings. She has done so many weddings, she really is an expert. It was so easy to just relax and enjoy our day knowing simple weddings had every little detail covered. Our wedding was perfect and I wouldn’t have changed a thing! From start to finish it was a phenomenal experience! Anthony contacted me promptly and did a consultation with us and then turned us over to Tina! Let me tell you about this girl….she goes above and beyond and any idea/vision she has is a million times better than you could even imagine! Amber did our hair and makeup AND was our officiant….yes she IS a rockstar!! Dylan Todd was our photographer and I cry when I look at my photos…AMAZING!! My husband and I wanted to renew our vows for our 15th wedding anniversary. Since we had already planned our annual family vacation we decided that this would be a great time to have our renewal. I contacted Simple Weddings and Amber who made the whole process easy. I chose a package for a Thursday and was given flower and arch options that fit the look I wanted. Everything from ceremony, hair and make and photography was a pleasure. Simple Weddings created a beautiful setting for my husband and family to celebrate. Simple Weddings made the whole process easy and would send me information and notes months before the ceremony and they executed everything I wanted beautifully. I loved that everything was taken care of in-house so I just had to let Amber know what I wanted, such as having hair and make-up for myself and my daughter, and then Justina came to my rental to make everyone feel beautiful. Dylan did an awesome job with our photos and was able to capture both loving and stunning photos along with some photos that captured family members' goofy sides. I can not recommend Simple Weddings enough if you want a one-stop shop for a vow renewal or an awesome beach wedding.

Simple Weddings is truly amazing. I've had the pleasure of working with Simple Weddings for over 4 years now, and when I got married in April 2021 - there was only one place I could think of when I needed to plan my wedding. Simple Weddings helped myself and my 'not-so-well-versed' husband plan our wedding in Orlando and everything went off amazingly. Amber made our wedding dreams come true on treasure island. Amber was organized, calm, and collected when it came to planning our day months out. We really needed a planner since we live a long distance from Florida. I can’t recommend her planning skills enough. It was such a relief to have someone to coordinate the village it takes to plan a wedding. She communicated our wishes with everyone- florist, bakery, hair, catering, etc. When we finally saw everything come together on the day, it was clear that Amber had addressed every detail we had envisioned and even added some personal touches showing how much she invests in her couples. The music timing was perfect, the decorations were just as we described, she controlled the flow of events seamlessly. I really can’t offer enough praises for Amber- she works very hard and it is quite obvious this is her expertise and passion.
Anthony and Amber were more than I could have asked for when it came to coordinators. As an out of state bride, who had never even visited Florida they both went above and beyond to calm any nerves and explain everything I could get with our package. After expressing a few wants and showing a some inspiration photos our wedding was PINTEREST perfect. Dylan was our photographer and even he was more than I ever hoped for. Amazing energy, positive attitude and stunning sneak peeks of our wedding photos. Our wedding was more beautiful than I had pictured in my head. They absolutely over delivered. Anthony couldn’t have done a better job of making our wedding day perfect! I truly trusted him to handle everything! There wasn’t a single stressor on my plate! Our day couldn’t have been more perfect. Our photos with Dorothy couldn’t have turned out more dreamy. I cannot rave about this experience enough.

From the moment we walked into the business office of Simple Weddings, we knew that they were our perfect match for our wedding. Even after our initial meeting I felt so much better about all the stress of planning a wedding. Having a hard working and competent planner who is willing to accommodate your requests and goes above and beyond to make your vision come to reality is such great feeling. From the lead up to the day and all the pre planning to helping it all come together, day of the wedding, with decor and timing/flow, it all went off without a hitch with much of the credit going to Amber and her business partner Anthony. I cannot say enough good things about this company. Our plans had to change like many other 2020 weddings. While we agreed to postpone our big celebration, we opted to get married on the original day since the world is so uncertain. About one month out, I spoke to the owner, Anthony. He was warm and friendly, and I was instantly sold on the idea of one of their ceremony packages. Amber was an absolute angel who handled all the details. And man did we luck out with Jonathan’s photography. Our photos are absolutely stunning. Our day, while not exactly what we planned originally, was really quite perfect. Many of our friends and family have agreed. Only thing we would change is the guest list.

We got married a month ago in Indian Rocks Beach, and having Simple Weddings take care of our big day was one of the best decisions we made!! Anthony scheduled a few calls with me to go over everything that we had envisioned for our special day, he was very responsive and on top of every detail, he also coordinated everything with the other vendors involved, which were all very professional. Anthony really made sure that our ceremony reflected us as a couple, and we couldn’t have been happier, our wedding turned out beautiful and truly stress free!!!

I honestly thought that a destination wedding would stress me out. Amber made sure all we had to do was show up and she was absolutely correct. The food, the decor, the wedding of our dream Amber and Anthony knocked it so out of the park. Between the food, the person who married us and the photographer everything was to meet our standards. rent state of the world impacted by a pandemic - and yet, in the midst of all that, you both managed to bring some Disney Dreams to the beach. You both focused on being in the moment and truly enjoying your special day. And among the happy moments, there were those super sentimental ones - as you know there wasn't a dry eye on the patio when you danced in memory of your dad. We love the photos, too! I hope that Crown Peach and the Magic Kingdom always put a smile on your faces for years to come. All our best.
With covid initially ruining our initial wedding plans, it was jokingly suggested by both our parents that we go and elope somewhere warm on a beach. Still wanting the big wedding, we researched a little To just look and came across simple weddings. Being within our budget, we reached out to just get some information.
We ended up deciding on a very small micro wedding with our immediate family and had invited our wedding party and planned the big party down the road when we are able to do so. I cant tell you how easy simple weddings made everything especially with having covid trying to ruin your wedding plans on several different occasions. Everyone told me I was crazy for going to florida to get married amongst the pandemic and that I should have looked at local places that were “safe within our state.” In all honesty, I actually felt more safe than going to a local grocery store.
Amber and Anthony were so welcoming! They are beyond budget friendly with several different packages offered. Amber was such an amazing wedding planner and guided us through the whole process of what we needed, local places/vendors and how to even obtain an out of state marriage license in impeccable detail.
We even had threats of hurricanes days prior to the wedding and Amber had a plan A, B, and C. Even dealing with covid, we were well informed on any state changes and what was going to be required. I cant stress enough to how wonderful and helpful Amber was.
I would highly recommend simple weddings to anyone looking for a beach wedding.

The Company Simple Weddings was amazing to work with. I did very little. They asked all the questions and I gave answers they took care of it all!! Things you don't even think of. I was treated more like a family member or friend than a customer. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND SIMPLE WEDDING S. If it's just you and your partner or 100s of people, they make your event and life sooo much easier in a time of what could be chaos. Can't say enough about Simple Weddings. Although there is nothing simple about there decor and presentation.

Being from out of state and not sure how well things would go I could not have asked for a better result. Everything went just as awesome and simply as they said it would be. We rented a beach house in Indian Rocks, Fl and we hired Simple Weddings for our July 25, 2019 wedding. From the first phone call we felt comfortable. Hands down Simple Weddings did an amazing job at our wedding!!! From the moment I first spoke with them up until the wedding everything was perfect. I was a little apprehensive at first, working with a company I did not have a personal relationship with, but they assured me the whole way through and they did not disappoint. David was our wedding planner and he kept me calm and made sure everything was just how I wanted it. Dylan was our photographer and he rocked the photos. He even encouraged me to go in the water in my wedding dress. The pictures came out amazing! Then there is Amber.....We Love her!!!! She did my hair and makeup and was our officiant! Absolutely fantastic. They helped us organizing our double wedding via Skype (we live in Sweden) and all worked out perfectly. Amber is a makeup genius as both me and my sister were looking like zombies before she literally made us HD proof.

Blew our vision out the water! Everything was fantastic! Amber and her team were amazing. No dissapoints at all! Food and photographer were both amazing and don’t get me started on the flowers they were incredible!
“I miss our wedding” Four words spoken daily in our home. It was a perfect day, all because of the expertise of Amber and Anthony from Simple Weddings. From start to finish this dynamic duo was just what we needed to make our destination beach wedding happen. They listened to our visions and really got to know us to make our special day a reflection of who we are as a couple. I am an admitted control freak, and was an event planner for many years, so I had definite ideas on how I wanted the day to transpire. Simple Weddings delivered on all levels.
I still cry when I reflect on the beautiful ceremony Anthony performed. Amber’s creative flair made the venue look exactly as I had envisioned it. The set-up, decorations, lighting, music, photographer, steel-drummer, caterer and baker were all recommended (or part of the SW team), by Amber and were again, the picture of professionalism and made our day so memorable for us and our guests. And the best part…I didn’t have to lift a finger! They made it so easy.

We met Amber by sheer chance at a wedding expo we nearly didn't attend. It's so lucky we did! She did a fantastic job of guiding us through the year we had to prepare and was always available when we had questions. She was flexible and creative and able to make our vision come to life. We could not have asked for a more beautiful wedding day that was so representative of who we are!
After a 1 1/2 years of planning our DREAM Beach Wedding, we knew rain in Florida could be a possibility. With a week full of beautiful sunshine our weather forecast for the big day was doomed w/ 80% chance of rain. The day had only 2 large bands of rain in which one was to come through during setup time. This left us with no choice but to relocate our dream wedding indoors. I was DEVASTATED:( Amber came to our RESCUE with focusing on a minute to minute forecast app & suggesting to us the BRILLIANT idea to relocate only cocktail hour to reserve that time to set up our reception outdoors. She got on the phone with our venue and MADE IT HAPPEN!!!! It was NOTHING less than PERFECT!!! OUR hearts go out to Amber and and all of her hard working staff for setting up in the sand and through the rain to give us EXACTLY WHAT WE ENVISIONED!!! We would give you 10 stars if we could! If you want someone that will treat your wedding as their own then Simple Weddings is where you need to be💓
Amber and Anthony and their team at Simple Weddings are top notch. Our wedding was anything but ‘simple’ and they sat down with us and took us through the steps as soon as we met with them. Through their site we found our beach wedding house (the Belle Maison is the very best), our amazing caterers and we had an absolutely magical wedding!
Amber was our wedding coordinator and met us at (many, many) tastings and conducted conference calls with us for an entire year in preparation for our big day. I like planners, I like details and I LOVE checklists and feeling like everything is exactly where it needs to be. Amber was awesome when it came to checklists and details. She’s also very personable and shared some great lessons learned with us as we made decisions in the process.
On our big day - she was cool, calm and collected which kept me calm and focused. Her small team worked tirelessly for hours to make it perfect and it was absolutely beautiful. Every single detail was cared for, and she even suggested a special champagne toast at 9:11 that evening to recognize the importance of the time in our lives which will be a special memory for us.
She was always responsive, totally got us and what we wanted and pulled off a gorgeous wedding. We love her and Simple Weddings and we guarantee they are worth every penny - they know what they’re doing from the best cakes, to florists, to catering companies...

Simple Weddings made planning for a destination wedding so easy.
Anthony & Amber of Simple Weddings were the best! They are both so kind and helpful. Mother Nature was cruel the day of our wedding and it was absolutely pouring for hours. We made the decision to move the wedding to a covered pavilion about twenty minutes after our original start time (which was fine because we had such a small wedding), so by the time everything was moved and set up, we were racing the clock to have enough daylight for photos. Amber (who did my hair and make up and who did a wonderful job) and Anthony (who was our officiant) worked so hard to make a mediocre pavilion look as nice as possible for us. While the decorations were nothing over the top, and we were missing a lot of the original elements we wanted because they got rained on or there wasn’t time to set them up, everything was still very nice. They were even kind enough to let my now husband ride with them to the new location so we could keep the one tradition we had for our day of not seeing each other before the wedding. Our wedding planner, Shanna, was really helpful in the beginning, but we felt like over time her level of interest wained. She was always very nice, but we felt like we were sending redundant emails to her and going over things we had already previously told her every time we talked to her. Our photographer, Brandi, took absolutely beautiful pictures giving the difficult circumstances. We were able to get some beautiful beach photos despite the weather. The pictures of the wedding were not perfect, but we know she did the best she could. She was a little hard to work with that day (honestly, she just seemed stressed over the weather), but was apologetic when she wasn’t able to get a shot we wanted. Our day-of-coordinator (I honestly don’t even remember her name) really wasn’t that helpful. We talked very breifly, and she really offered us no information we didn’t already have (though she did make several phones calls to try and find a location to move our wedding to because of the rain). Since Anthony was our officiant, he called the day before the wedding to go over our vows. He performed the ceremony beautifully, even our parents loved him and the things he said. He filed our license for us with the court house the next day so we didn’t have to drive there and we could enjoy our vacation with our family. I would highly recommend Simple Weddings. My advice is that you be highly involved in all the decision making, and if you feel the weather isn’t ideal enough for your big day, go with your gut and move the ceremony early so you get exactly what you want so its not as hectic and rushed as our day was. Thank you Simple Weddings for all you did, and thank you Anthony and Amber for your kindness and hard work!

Simple Weddings did an amazing job for our beach wedding and reception in Clearwater. Planning a wedding from out of state would have been stressful and exhausting without Simple Weddings. Amber and her team knew exactly what they were doing and it was a wonderful stress-free day. Our experience was exactly what we wanted!!
I absolutely LOVED working with Simple Weddings! Being from Indiana, Amber made the process of planning a destination wedding easy. She was wonderful to work with and made our vision come to life with the help of Kelly and Desiree. They helped us decide on a beach to get married on, find the perfect place to stay and helped with arranging a private room at a local restaurant for dinner after the ceremony, none of which I could have accomplished on my own in our 5.5 month time-frame for planning.
We used Dorothy as our photographer and she did a phenomenal job, we LOVE our final product. We also highly recommend paying extra for the videographer, we love having the entire ceremony on a flash-drive to go back and reminisce and show our loved ones that could not make the trip to Florida.
The only suggestion I would have from our experience is a better option for playing the ceremony music (maybe a bluetooth speaker?). While it didn't affect me, our guests did say that they were unable to hear it...it also did not help that it was a windy evening. But with that said, Ken and I did not even notice and it did not affect the outcome. I was extremely happy with everything from start to finish and would highly recommend Simple Weddings to anyone I know wanting a destination beach wedding.

As a wedding planner and a second-time bride, I wanted a very unique and personal ceremony. We chose Anthony as our officiant. He was very comfortable with our unique content, as we modified the traditional ceremony language to include a hand-fasting. We also had 2 special friends read passages during the ceremony, and he made the transitions seamless. He took the time to make sure that our ceremony was about us. His delivery is professional, yet personal, and he adds humor to his ceremonies to help balance the sentimentality and spirituality. It's the perfect balance and what you want as a bride on the beach! He and the day-of coordinator, Desiree also made sure that our music cues were spot on as we had different processional songs for the members of our wedding party. Music is very important to my husband and me, and we were glad this was part of the Simple Weddings' service.

Our ceremony was in April on Madeira Beach. We do not live in the area and were worried the planning process would be a nightmare, but Simple Weddings made it so smooth. Shanna was our planner and she was on top of things from the beginning. I sent pictures of my ideas and the day of it was all perfect. The flowers were beautiful, the set up was awesome, our photographer, Dorothy, did a great job. It was a very windy day and one of my ear rings fell out and our day of coordinator, Kelly, was so nice in helping us try to find it and even giving company names in the area who could help. She was also good about getting everyone where they needed to be when they needed to be there! She went so far as to come to our beach house to do a rehersal the day before! I feel like I am rambling but I could go on and on about what an awesome experience it was working with this team and how thankful we are for making our wedding stress-free and PERFECT!!

Would give 6 stars if we could! We were on vacation in St. Pete Beach in September and decided to get married. Called Amber at Simple Weddings and 48 hours later, we were getting marred on the beach at sunset.
Amber was fantastic to work with., and Dylan - our photographer was just amazing! He helped us feel at ease in front of the camera, and the pictures were outstanding.

As a Bride, planning your wedding down to the last detail is something you think about since being a little girl. The glamour, the dress, the shoes, how you'll wear your hear and having your make-up done by a professional. Our wedding was set, all vendors were set, guests booked their flights and we were getting married on a rooftop of an amazing hotel on St. Pete Beach, FL Sept,. 9, 2017.
Well, Hurricane Irma had other plans for us! Days before the big day, our venue evacuated, catering cancelled, guests flights were cancelled and just 12 hours before the wedding, both my hair salon and make-up studio called to say they were unable to assist me, as they would be closed on my wedding day. Within minutes, my wedding officiant made a few phone calls and was able to get in touch with Amber. Everyone converged at my home that Saturday ready to make our day the best wedding ever. And they did!
Without ever meeting me or knowing my style, Amber took my vision for my hair and make-up and made me feel like a beautiful bride!
I cannot thank her enough for making our wedding day absolutely amazing and definitely unforgettable.

Simple Weddings was simply the best! Anthony and Amber were hands on from the first phone call. I live in Boca Raton FL and I found this site to plan a wedding on the beach in St Pete Beach FL. The site allowed you to virtually set up your beach wedding from flower arrangements, color sashes to chair styles and unique wedding locations.
Amber and I spoke bi weekly over the phone and via email from a year out. I sent her photos of what I could imagine my wedding to be, i.e. flower bouquet colors, ceremony styles, receptions ideas. And she created it!!! She had great ideas to add as well. She is really good at what she does!
Being across the state she was hands on and set me up and booked all vendors For what I asked for. She was fantastic!!!

Planning a wedding can be a stressful and difficult task for any couple at the best of times. Add a 4000+ mile gap and a 5 hour time difference(we live in the uk) and the potential for stress / worry can be multiplied. However, thanks to the hard work, patience, attention to our needs from Amber and the team at simple weddings, any stress or concerns we may have had was soon removed.
Due to the fact we were planning our wedding from another country, all of our contact was through e-mail or Skype calls.Every last detail was taken care of with utmost professionalism( very good response to e-mail questions etc), and we always felt that we had someone there who was more than willing to help take us through the planning process. When we finally got to meet Amber in person, it was as though we'd known her for much longer than we actually had.
