About this vendor
Where every aspect of your event is, well, simple. We are THE event specialists in the Roanoke Valley. But what makes us different?
Simplicity was started in 2011 and has been getting rave reviews and winning awards ever since our first year! Our three Senior Planners each have over 20 years of experience in the event industry. Only decades of experience can prepare you to be proactive in planning for, and handling complications. If you can think of it ... we have seen it, and handled it. Plus with our tons of local connections, we can recommend all of the perfect vendors for your vision.
Planning is our passion, so that is all that we do. We don’t try to do flowers and photography on top of orchestrating your event. We stay dedicated to the bigger pictures. What that means, is that on your big day, you can rest assured that when you need us we will be right beside you. We double and triple check everything. We meet with your vendors and communication directly with them to make sure everyone is on the same page. We PLAN and to EXECUTE every step of the way.
Experience. Connections. Dedication. That's what makes us different. It's just that simple.

Hiring Courtney was a last minute decision but was absolutely one of the best decisions that I made surrounding my wedding!!! I can't count the number of times that me and my famil...
y said "I love Courtney, she's the best!" In our first meeting she brought up things that I didn't even think about. I have a tendency to talk and get distracted and she managed to keep me laughing and on time as we moved throughout the wedding timeline during the Day of the wedding. She made every detail stress free and everyone loved her! My sister had planned to do most of the cleanup for the wedding but after she helped me out of my dress she returned to the venue and Courtney had already coordinated the clean up. I don't know if everything would have been pulled off without her!
Almost 6 months from our wedding, and I'm finally getting around to writing reviews, but our team of vendors was too fantastic to not show them some love. Vicki was a HUGE reason w...
hy we loved our vendor team so much. Throughout the planning process, she was available, flexible and always ready to listen or offer a hand. She also allowed my husband, my mom and I to all feel like we were still in control, but we had her available as our right hand woman WHENEVER we needed something. The day of the wedding - we were all able to relax and enjoy. Everything went perfectly, and I have no doubt that Vicki was the best choice for wedding planner we could have made.
Peggy was the day of coordinator for our wedding through Simplicity! She was awesome! She was so organized and handled everything with such professionalism. She supported me with a...
nything I needed and ensured the day of the wedding ran smoothly. I can't say enough kind words about Peggy and Simplicity!
Vicki and her team were absolutely fantastic and a dream to work with. Despite all the challenges that come with planning a wedding in Virginia from Alaska, Vicki made the process...
easy and painless. She was very quick to answer any questions we had during the process as well as ask us questions that we may not have thought of ourselves. Not only is she very thorough and detail oriented, Vicki has a wonderful personality and knew when to be serious and keep everyone in line and focused and when to just let loose and have a little fun. She seamlessly coordinated all of our vendors behind the scenes, reducing our stress levels on the day of our wedding. In fact, during the planning process, several of our vendors said, "Oh! We've worked with Vicki before and you are in great hands!" We seriously cannot say enough good things about Vicki and her team at Simplicity.
Vicki is the absolute best! She helps out so much and she really cares about the people she works with. It was so nice to have someone to help with managing vendors and knowing wha...
t's normal (since I've never planned a wedding before). She was soooo incredibly helpful and made everything run seem less. Oh and we loved her! Cannot recommend her enough. She is so sweet and caring and does a FANTASTIC JOB!!!
Vicki is absolutely wonderful! She made the little things about the planning process so much easier. There is NO way I could have managed everything without her. She not only cares...
(and I mean, genuinely cares) about her clients, but she has the patience of a saint and made sure to respond to every email, text, phone call, and in-person meeting request. She is so personable and enjoyable to work with -- other brides told me that I absolutely should not go without investing in at least a "day of" coordinator and I am so glad I took their advice, or else I would have never met Vicki! Matt and I cannot thank you enough :)
Vicki was absolutely wonderful. I did not have to worry about anything the day of because she had everything handled. She took care of coordinating the deliveries and all the set u...
ps! My wedding was perfect! I loved everything. She also was great with suggesting vendors. Thank you Vicki! Thank you a million times thank you :)
Vicki was a complete miracle. Anytime, any day, whenever she was there. If I had a quick question or problems with a vendor she was Johnny on the spot! She is absolutely wonderful....
I highly recommend a wedding planner for your big day so you don't pull your hair out and I definitely insist that you give Vicki a call!
