Tiffany, the owner of Simply Breathe Events, is amazing! We hired Tiffany mid-stream in the wedding planning process at a crisis point, with just a few months to go before the wedding, and many loose ends and decisions yet to be made. Tiffany dove in immediately, and with amazing focus, organizational skills, an upbeat attitude and patience, helped us pull together an incredibly beautiful wedding. Equally important, she was committed to working within our budget and kept an eye on where we were with respect to the budget. We never felt for a moment that she was pressuring us to increase the budget (as is sometimes the case with wedding planners) and everything came in well within the budget. We recommend her highly!

Simply Breathe Events helped us with the day of coordination for our wedding. I was more than happy to research, plan, and coordinate with the various vendors for our wedding, but really needed help to execute our vision and ensure we can enjoy the day and not worry about the logistical details. We had a great experience working with Tiffany and the whole SBE team! SBE was hands down the best decision we made for our wedding. My now-husband and I came to Tiffany a year before our wedding with a mess of a Pinterest board and not much else. She guided us through every step, patiently answering our questions and making herself available through the whole process. She recommended incredible vendors that met our needs. Then there was Michel-le’ who was so calm and helpful- I’m sure things went wrong but she and Tiffany never let me know the day of the wedding, and to us the day was perfect. The best decision I made was to hire Simply Breathe Events for my daughter's wedding. Our coordinator Michel-le' was outstanding. From start to finish, communication was excellent. Michel-le' kept everything organized, gave me some great ideas, provided us and our other vendors with a detailed timeline for the wedding. Even though rain threatened the outdoor ceremony, Michel-le' kept everyone calm. The sun came out right before the ceremony started. Wedding day was flawless and we couldn't have done it without Simply Breathe Events. I highly recommend them to anyone for their wedding. I must also give a shout out to the assistant for the bride the day of the wedding. Sam, you are so appreciated for everything you did to keep the bridal party organized and on time.

We worked with Michel-le’ to plan our wedding. From start to finish, Michel-le’ and her team was very responsive and responsible. Michel-le’ made sure to accommodate all of our requests (even the ones that were made last minute!) and made us comfortable during the stressful wedding preparation period. We booked the month of coordination service but Michel-le’ made sure to communicate ahead so that the planning went smoothly when it was time for her team to take over. Michel-le’ was a focal point in the communication with vendors and I felt that all of the vendors were well informed of the schedule and their respective roles on the day of the wedding. If you value communication and envision a seamless event I highly recommend the SBE team!

Michel-le' and her team were AMAZING. Organization and communication was top tier. Checking in and making sure she provides as much advice and reminder was so helpful as we got closer to the big day. We hired Michel-le' as a day of coordinator but she went above and beyond that. I felt like I've known her for years - and I feel like I just gained a new friend. Her team on wedding day was so attentive and made sure we had everything we needed and make sure the reception/ceremony was just perfect. Choosing Simply Breathe Events was the best and most important decision of my entire wedding planning process. As my fiance and I faced some crazy circumstances (including COVID cancellations and a venue closure 5 months before our wedding), Tiffany was there to support, problem solve, and advocate for us. From initial vision board creation to the weekend of the event, Tiffany took the time to understand our goals and bring them to life. She has great relationships with some of the best vendors in the DC area, and her recommendations helped us build a strong vendor team. There is no one better to plan your dream wedding!

Tiffany and her team ensured our wedding ran impeccably! We chose the day of coordination option, and she met with us periodically to make sure that we were on track with our planning for the wedding and keeping a list of our vendors as we established relationships with them. Most of our vendors have worked with her, and this made the planning a seamless process. On the day of the wedding, she and her team were very punctual and went over and beyond, bringing a stool for my makeup artist and a pretty hanger for my wedding dress photos when I overlooked those details. She addressed situations that we didn’t even know were issues during the wedding! And she always held true to our requests, and is super fun but always professional. Having Simply Breathe Events coordinate the day of our wedding was one of the best decisions we made in the wedding planning process!! We are happy to recommend her to any of our family and friends who are planning a big event!

Tiffany and Michel-le' were the best to work with. Throughout the process they were very responsive to all of our emails and questions and helped our vision come to life. Everything came out exactly the way we planned. Our day-of was perfectly coordinated due to the fact that Tiffany had put together a detailed timeline and reviewed with us ahead of time to ensure all our vendors, family etc were where they needed to be when they needed to be there. We truly had the perfect day thanks to Tiffany and team.

I am not sure how to start or end this review because Tiffany and the SBE team deserve all of the praises. Tiffany helped us plan our October 2021 DC wedding and the only way I can summarize our experience is: stress free! Tiffany is organized, experienced, responsive and my favorite thing about her is that like myself, she is solution oriented. If there is a problem, she immediately is thinking up a solution that will immediately put the couples mind at ease. Our experience planning for over a year and a half would not have been as smooth and exciting, if it weren’t for Tiffany. You NEED a planner that understands your vision, your personality as a couple AND your budget. It was truly like planning our wedding with our life long friend. You never have to worry that she doesn’t have your best interest at heart. The day of, I am certain there were hiccups, but I did not know of any of them. Tiffany and Michel-le’ were a Godsend. Specifically Michel-le’ who was there the morning of, in my suite making sure I had everything I needed and moving everyone around the hotel. Her energy was so genuine and positive, I am truly so grateful for all she did for me that morning. A true angel. She even helped me put the final touches on my hair! I would get married 100 times again if I could have Tiffany and the SBE team planning the day. If you are getting married in the near future, and haven’t hired the SBE team, do it now!

Tiffany and her SBE team were the absolute best! With the partial planning package, she made our lives SO much easier and made our wedding and wedding experience pretty much flawless. Tiffany ensured we had virtually no planning mishaps but any that did occur (for example, some issues with the host hotel), she jumped on immediately and resolved. She was always available and communicative. Super organized and a wealth of resources. She was always patient and nice. She provided her expert opinion and recommendations but never "forced" any decisions on us. She made sure we knew what we had to do and when so we never fell behind on important milestones. She prepared the day-of schedule and made sure all vendors were on the same page. She ran a tight ship and made sure the wedding ran smoothly, all without us ever having to feel the stress of timing, logistics, etc. All we had to think about was getting married and having fun. That's a priceless feeling. Possibly the most useful and beneficial service she provided was making sure the design, feel, and vibe of ALL the components of the wedding came together beautifully. Early on we created a mood board with Tiff that was utilized throughout the planning process. This was invaluable and really made the wedding next-level. Overall, we couldn't have done it without her. There were countless times throughout planning, the day-of, and post-wedding where we talked about how thankful we were that we had Tiffany and her team supporting us. Honestly, it's pretty much impossible to imagine our wedding without SBE. Can't recommend highly enough!

Latoria is a life saver! We hired her as our day of coordinator and couldn’t have gotten through wedding day without her. She’s amazingly organized, communicative and on top of absolutely everything. We are so grateful to her for everything she did for us to make our day perfect.

Latoria at Simply Breathe Events was beyond amazing! I hired her as a month-of coordinator, but she was in touch long before that and answered any of my "Hey, what do you think about ___?" questions in the months leading up to the wedding. Latoria went with me for my final venue walkthrough, which was so helpful. The timeline she put together and the contact with the vendors leading up to the wedding was so helpful. I was able to take that last month and not worry about the finer details. Latoria and team also set up a lot of the details of the wedding from guestbooks to signage, I was blissfully unaware of anything happening on the day, just the way I wanted it! I highly highly recommend Latoria and the SBE team!

Tiffany and the rest of the Simply Breathe Team were absolutely fantastic - we could not recommend them enough. Tiffany is experienced, organized, and comforting. She knew how to achieve our aesthetic and the best vendors to work with. She stayed on top of all of our vendors and us as well for when we needed to do something. When things got stressful or didn't go right initially, she knew how to roll with the punches and make things work. Multiple things came up on the big day and the team handled it perfectly. We felt so fortunate to have Tiffany help us through this planning process. Latoria is incredible! From the beginning she was exceptionally well organized, friendly and easy to chat with, and had a hand in everything that was part of making our wedding the success it was. She went above and beyond our expectations on numerous occasions. She solved problems during the planning months and on the day of, and she instilled in us a faith that if something came up she would find a solution. The day of, there were only minor hiccups with vendors and she solved them all without us even knowing they occurred. In the months leading up to the wedding we had a few problems with other vendors, but just left it in Latoria's hands to solve and she did. In addition to being incredibly capable, she also projects an air of calm and confidence--a sort of "I got this" attitude. It's settling and really helped calm our nerves. Latoria has my strongest recommendation. I wish she could plan more things in my life.

Latoria was not what we had hoped. We hired her for the month of but she was not communicative during the entire month. We ended up having more hands-on communication with the individual vendors. The final timeline did not reach ourselves or the vendors until the Tuesday prior to the Saturday wedding. And the timeline was wrong. We had to make phone calls and emails with the vendors to get everyone on the same page. The entire month, I had voiced that I was concerned with transportation. When it came time at the end of the night for transportation, the father of the bride spent 30 minutes trying to organize the guests and the buses.

Tiffany worked with us for over 2 years to plan two weddings due to COVID. She was immensely helpful and accommodating throughout. Despite our choices making things difficult for her from time to time, she was always available and positive while providing the support needed to complete our vision. Tiffany is professional, efficient, supportive, and kind. I highly recommend any couple looking for a planner to work with her and her team.

We had such a great experience working with Tiffany and SBE for our wedding this July! From start to finish, Tiffany was very professional and capable. We used SBE for day-of coordination services, but Tiffany was not kidding when she said that she was more accurately providing month-of coordination services. Right when wedding planning was getting its most frenetic, Tiffany swooped in and took over a lot of coordination with our vendors and took a huge load off our shoulders. It let us just sit back and enjoy our day knowing everything was being taken care of, and for that, she was truly priceless!

Stop, do not go further: if you're considering Simply Breathe for your wedding just sign the contract and rest easy knowing you're in the best possible hands. Tiffany is the absolute best co-captain a couple could have in wedding planning. After booking with Tiffany, we ended up moving out of state, changing the date three times, and each challenge was met with Tiffany's calm and can-do attitude. She is so organized, responsive, and able to handle any/all situations. We ended up planning the final version of the wedding in 8 weeks (!) which was only possible because of her skills and attitude. Tiffany is also kind, respectful, and patient with family members and vendors alike. We felt comfortable having her represent our family to vendors, and deal with things (both pleasant and less-than-pleasant) on our behalf. She is a diplomat in every way. I don't think we saw her break a sweat once, even when things got a little sticky. Polished, professional, positive... what more could you ask for?! We, and our families, are forever grateful for Tiffany and her amazing guidance, calming presence, and great sense of humor as we navigated our Covid wedding.

Tiffany was such an important part of making our daughter's wedding such a beautiful event. Given Covid, the date had been switched three times. Tiffany was a huge help in coordinating the original vendors for a date that was mutually acceptable. She guided us through all the preparations, answered all our questions in a timely manner, and her calm, happy, and professional demeanor on the wedding day were really important for us keeping it all together. She and her assistants were key to making the event run smoothly. I recommend Simply Breathe without reservation, they couldn’t have been any better during the run up to the wedding and on the day of the event. Tiffany is the best!

We hired Simply Breathe Events for our wedding and it was the best decision we made!! Tiffany was so great from the beginning until the end. Tiffany was amazing to work with from start to finish. Our wedding came at the height of the second wave, just two days before the DC Mayor shut everything down again. My partner and I decided to move forward with a very small, intimate wedding (with a total of 8 people) during covid since we didn't want to wait another 1-2 years. We contacted Tiffany this past summer and asked if we could pull together a wedding in three months -- not only did she promise that this was possible, but she knocked it out of the park. Every detail was considered, and healthy and safety was at the forefront. Tiffany listened to our every idea, understood even when we didn't know entirely how to articulate what we wanted, and was incredibly responsive, which alleviated my anxiety in planning a major life event in 3 months. Latoria and her team did a wonderful job as day-of coordinators for our event. She managed outreach and coordination of information to our vendors, did a beautiful job setting up the decor of our venue, and 100% kept her cool as she shifted/plugged-and played agenda items of our timeline due to unforeseen delays. Latoria advocated on our behalf to ensure we got the experience that we wanted and made sure that our only job was to wave goodbye to our guests at the end of the night. We came back to find our decor neatly packaged in our room. Huge thanks to the team for making our wedding happen so smoothly.

After deciding I only needed a planner to help me tie together loose ends in the final stretch of wedding planning, I immediately started looking for a month of planner in the Washington D.C. area who had experience working at our venue The Anderson House with a similar event style. Tiffany and her team stood out from all of the other planners we interviewed not only because of her knowledge of the D.C. wedding scene, but also because of her deep vendor rolodex and willingness to check in and answer any of our questions throughout our planning journey, BEFORE she was contracted to. A lot, if not all of the other planners we talked to gave us the impression that they were only going show up on the day of our wedding not being familiar with anything I had pulled together on my own the months prior. Tiffany and her team went above and beyond your typical month of coordinator. She miraculously sorted through our confusing catering details, helped update some of our contracts to better suite my vision, and quickly took over all communication with my vendors once her official contracted date began. Mike and I hired Latoria and Simply Breathe Events for our November 2019 wedding in DC for day of coordinator services. Boy are we glad we did! Even though Latoria’s services did not start a month out from our wedding date, Latoria was in contant communication with us to see how we were doing and if we needed her assistance in any way. This made us feel like she was thinking of us. It also made us feel good that she wanted to be there for us. I took this opportunity to provide her with any wedding planning milestones I had made and sent her pictures for ideas that I had envisioned. I believe this helped both of us for when we got together. A month before our wedding, we met with Latoria to go over all the details regarding the wedding. At this point in the wedding planning process, I was ready to hand everything over to her and to have her help. To say I was relieved after meeting Latoria is an understatement. I was so appreciative of her help even leading up to the wedding day! On the day of the wedding, I was able to enjoy myself and to enjoy the moment. The day went by in the blink of an eye but I can say that I am still able to reflect on every minute of the day because Latoria and her team took care of everything! From setting up the venue to coordinating with the vendors and taking care of any issues that arose during the day, Latoria and her team did an amazing job at taking care of it to the point where Mike and I were blissfully unaware. Never once did I worry about the timeline or making sure things were where they were supposed to be. Mike and I never felt as if we were looking for Latoria or her assistant if we had a question or needed something during the wedding. She was always a head turn away! Reflecting back on our wedding, Mike and I constantly reflect on the day and how much we both enjoyed it and didn’t have a thing to worry about. Our special day went off perfectly thanks to Latoria. She jumped right in and made sure everything we envisioned came to life! Literally, I thought she had a twin because she was moving seamlessly between two hotels (my husband and I got ready at two different hotels) and our wedding venue just to ensure everything went as planned. Booking Tiffany and her team to help with our wedding was the best decision and wedding purchase we made - hands down. We hired Tiffany for day-of coordination but it was SO much more than that. From the minute we met for coffee, I knew her Type A personality and organization was JUST what we needed. My (now) husband and I are both lawyers and we don't know what we would have done without her given her handling of vendor coordination and planning when we were too swamped with work! Simply Breathe is worth every penny and in fact is the only wedding vendor I have given five star reviews to. In addition to coordinating with vendors before the wedding, she and her team seamlessly handled dealing with rain minutes before our ceremony, construction at our venue just a couple weeks before the wedding, and, apart from the last-minute mini-nightmares, she was ALWAYS there via phone or email when I needed advice or support. I cannot recommend her highly enough; this was by far our best wedding purchase. I can't imagine not having a wedding planner and tell all my friends they need one. We stumbled on SBE via instagram. They are well known in the DMV area and we loved everything we saw on the IG and in their websites. We were so blessed to have gotten Latoria as our day/month of coordinator. She was always so responsive via email and super organized. The package I chose came with a 2-hour meet up, it was super productive and got a lot done. She was very knowledgable about everything I asked and so kind. She came for wedding rehearsal and organized the whole thing. I cannot tell you enough how helpful that was and obviously having her run the show the day of. We truly appreciated how the SBE team (Latoria and assistant) made sure to take care of my husbands grandmother. We were worried about her and leaving her on her own as we did wedding stuff. If there is one advice I have learned by getting married, is that even if you do not think you need a wedding planner or day of coordinator, think again. They will only make your life easier in ways you cannot even begin to imagine. Worth every penny! Also, they send you a cute little welcome package with the most delicious cookies ever! I still cannot get those cookies out of my mind.

I thought I did not need a wedding coordinator but trust me I DID. I worked with Latoria for my wedding and I was super nervous because I’m a control freak and I wanted to make sure that they got my vision. We couldn’t imagine our wedding process and big day without Latoria and Jenny. When looking for our vendors, it was important to us to hire women of color - we are so glad we did! With a predominantly Spanish-speaking wedding party, we needed a vendor that would understand the language and cultural dynamics and experiences important to our family and us. We began working with Latoria several months before: she helped manage stress, mitigate crises, and quickly develop solutions. On our wedding day, her and Jenny (our unsung hero) were key to keeping us on schedule, caring for our guests’ needs, and ensuring we had a memorable experience. What started as a vendor relationship quickly morphed to a close friendship to confide in. Being able to work with these ladies daily is the only thing we miss about wedding planning!

Tiffany was absolutely wonderful. I am very organized and like doing things on my own, but I knew I needed help for day-of coordination. Latoria and her assistant Jenny did an amazing job on our wedding day. Although I only hired Latoria for the day of, she continuously provided support, gave suggestions and kept in constant contact with us from day 1 and even after the wedding! She was very well organized and even had spreadsheets for us to keep track of our spendings, contacts, and timeline leading up to the wedding. They were both very helpful on the wedding day. When something didn’t go as planned, they were right there to make it better. They improvised and everything turned out great! Things never go perfectly planned on your wedding day but Latoria and Jenny definitely made it a lot easier to on us. Planning a wedding from the opposite side of the country was difficult, but the best decision we made was to work with Tiffany and Simple Breathe events. We had already chosen vendors and needed someone to put everything together for the day-of coordination and make it all run smoothly - Tiffany was amazing! We had some communication issues with our venue and Tiffany handled them all wonderfully. She was available for any questions we had and was ok with last minute changes to floorplan and timeline. Deciding to hire Simply Breathe Events for day-of coordination was a total and complete game-changer for me. I was incredibly overwhelmed by the amount of details to work through, especially towards the end of the wedding planning process. It seemed like every time one question was answered, 15 more popped up. I would recommend SBE to any bride. (Hint: it doesn't matter how organized you are -- you NEED someone for the day-of!)

Where to even begin? If we could give Latoria 1000000 stars, I would. When we first hired SBE, we weren't sure how necessary a Day of Coordinator was, but leading up to the big day, it was clear that this was the best decision we ever made. Even though the contract stated Latoria would start working with us 6 weeks out, she started emailing me months before just checking in, seeing if she could offer any assistance. This was just a sneak peak as to how above and beyond this team goes. As we hit our 6 week mark, and anxiety started to rise, Latoria was there to help with everything, from the vendor that was avoiding me, to assuring me my nightmares would not become reality. On wedding day, like how do people get married with out a Latoria? She made sure all of my planning came to reality. She set up my decor all around the reception and ceremony space, got vendors in order, and just made my dreams come true. I can not can not can not recommend SBE more. Every bride NEEDS to hire this team. They make dreams come true, anxiety melt away, and make every couple experience the best day ever they way everyone dreams. okay I'm crying now... Patricia and her team at Simply Breathe are absolutely fantastic. I wish everyone could have her as their day-of coordinator — she's that good! My fiancee and I hired Simple Breathe relatively close to the wedding date, when we were feeling overwhelmed by all the details that needed to be taken care of. Neither of us are really big wedding-planning people, and we were anxious about the logistics of the big day. Patricia swung into action immediately, taking care of everything. As the day approached, it really felt like we had a friend on our side who could handle everything from requests from the other vendors to questions from our parents and guests. OnTthe wedding day, Patricia handled everything from the big stuff, like moving to the rain plan or getting us in position for the entrance, to the little stuff, like bustling my wife's dress before our big dance, with grace and humor. It was a huge relief having Patricia handle the big day and knowing that everything would be taken care of — and that if something went wrong, she would have no problem handling it. With Patricia and her team in charge, my wife and I were free to really enjoy the wedding and being with our family and friends. I can't recommend Patricia and Simply Breathe enough.

Selecting Simply Breathe Events was hands down the best decision that my husband and I made during our wedding planning process. We hired Tiffany and her team for Day-Of coordination and they surpassed all of our expectation. Tiffany checked-in with us every month to ask if we had any questions. Whenever we did have a question, she was quick in providing us with an answer. A month before our wedding, Tiffany took over the planning and began communicating with vendors for us, which allowed us to relax and enjoy the process. On the day of the wedding, Tiffany and Chelsie were nothing short of amazing. They ensured that our wedding timeline was followed, everything was set up properly, and made our vision a reality. Simply Breathe Events was seriously worth every single penny and then some. Tiffany and her team truly allow you to Simply Breathe on your wedding day!

Patricia from Simply Breathe events was the miracle we didn't know we needed. I was reluctant to get a day of coordinator and I am so glad I did. From the beginning, Patricia asked the right questions, gave thoughtful suggestions and really made us feel at ease with the whole day. When we told her we would take care of clean up at the venue the next day, she still had everything boxed neatly for us to pick up instead of leaving decorations up on the wall. My maid of honor showed me her email of suggested responsibilities and it spoke of someone with a lot of experience and the unique ability to get people to do what is necessary while being so nice about it! Patricia and her assistant Mimi were friendly and right where we needed help the day of the wedding. I cannot thank Patricia enough.

My husband and I made a fairly last minute decision to hire a wedding coordinator, and we are so glad we did!!! We found Simply Breathe Events through industry recommendations and their reviews looked great. Our coordinator, Latoria, was fantastic. I met with her to discuss our vision and timeline. We already had a lot done in the way of vendor vetting and hiring. On the same day as our meeting, Latoria reached out to all of our vendors to introduce herself and from there, completely took over any remaining coordination. Any time I reached out to one of my vendors, I tended to copy Latoria. She always followed up with a private email to see if she could do anything to help! By the time Latoria came aboard, we had ready done our final venue walk-through. Without our asking, she scheduled a walk-through with our venue liaison to ensure she knew the lay of the land! In the final week before the wedding, a few more questions started popping up. Latoria was super quick to reply and always had a solution -- to a bride trying to keep her stress levels down, this was so appreciated! Latoria and her assistant, Mimi, came to our rehearsal. They were both timely, prepared, and professional. I had delayed the start time by 30 minutes and completely forgot to tell them -- they were so kind about my mistake and never made us feel rushed… and it was Friday night! Day of, they checked in with us at the hotel, then went on to our venue to set up. At the rehearsal, I had given Latoria and Mimi our decor with instructions and they brought it all to the venue for us. Everything was set up perfectly, without ever having to “bother us” with any questions. Latoria and Mimi were prepared per usual and had a lovely, calm demeanor at our wedding. They ran the ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and celebration flawlessly! At the end of the night, they placed all of our belongings in an agreed upon place, which enabled us and our guests to keep right on partying without a care in the world! Even having already completed a lot of the leg work, having Latoria and Mimi’s assistance was so helpful! Their expertise helped it all come together without a hitch. Our experience with Latoria and Mimi was great! We definitely recommend them!

We had the amazing honor to be able to have Simply Breathe help us make sure our big day was as perfect as it was! We had the honor of working with a few of the members to help make the day what it turned out to be . Latoria Williams and mostly Patricia Mook . Patrica paid close attention to anything we may have needed or maybe not even thought of to help keep us stress free. Working with Tiffany and the SBE team was one of the best decisions my husband and I made at the beginning of the wedding planning process. We chose to do the partial planning option, which meant Tiffany took over about 8 weeks before our wedding day. She was available even before then with any questions we had and was constantly checking in with us to make sure we were ok. On the day of our wedding she made sure everything ran smoothly and took care of all the details so we did not have to be bothered with any questions from vendors and could fully enjoy our day. I cannot recommend SBE enough if you are looking for a reliable and professional wedding planner. You will feel supported and excited for your wedding knowing they have your back.

We hired Tiffany and SBE's "Day of" services, which means to help us coordinate things a month before our wedding and make sure everything ran smoothly on the day of the event. The reason for my bad review is that, even though she was good at meeting with us and covering all our concerns the month before, she was not on top of things at the day of the wedding. She was asking me questions about minor details while I was getting dressed, she wasn't there to solve problems as they emerged. Our wedding was not the traditional kind, we rented a house at the Chesapeake Bay, so we had to hire different vendors to provide catering, bar, tent and other services. We hired a guy to take us and the guests on boat rides. When my husband realized the boat guy wasn't there he asked Tiffany to call him, and she didn't have his number, even though she was supposed to have all the vendors numbers. My husband had to call him. Since the boat rides were a bit long, Tiffany asked before we went on one if they should start serving food, without the bride and groom, with hindsight I should have said no, but I didn't want to delay things and of course I assumed she would make sure there would be enough food for us on our return. Well, there wasn't. When I tried to figure out what was going on she was nowhere to be found. Also, the bar people were supposed to circulate specialty cocktails, which they didn't and she wasn't there to remind them, I had to tell them. So overall I think the month before the wedding Tiffany was helpful at coordinating things and tying loose ends, but she wasn't on top of things on the wedding day, so I don't think I would recommend her at least for a non traditional wedding.

Simply Breathe seemed the best quality for the price. Unfortunately, we budgeted more money for photographers and videographers and not as much for the planner which with hind sight we should’ve. They did provide some resources for our vendor search but I think majority of our choices were outside of their recommended options and the vendors were all great. They also did a good job at the reception setting the venue up. The room looked just as I envisioned and they did a great job cleaning up with all of the vendors and we didn’t need to worry about a thing. They could’ve done a better job at being on top of the ball. Our last week we had to change our ceremony venue from outside to inside. So we found a completely new venue, redid decoration details, rerouted bus routes, and informed over 150 guests. They did a good job at keeping all of the vendors up to speed with the venue change. However, it was cherry blossom weekend in DC and somehow the 10k marathon road closures were overlooked. For the rehearsal, we were over an hour delayed due to traffic from ppl visiting in town and road closure and I recommended pushing things back and leaving a bigger window for traffic and delays but they assured me we would be fine. So I trusted then because I hired them. However on the wedding day we were over an hour late for our wedding ceremony bc of traffic simply because we took the wrong roads. The planned route for the link was closed and the link had to follow local traffic. If the 10k road closure was known ahead of time the drivers would’ve been able to reroute. Also, we had a shuttle for our guests from the hotel to ceremony and reception. There was no one checking on the shuttle so it didn’t follow the plan and the bridal party needed to find transportation for almost half of the guests. Luckily bc we had a large amount of time for family photos we made it to the reception on time at the cost of some family photos and added stress for finding transportation. Nonetheless, they were a good option. If the weather wasn’t so unpredictable the last week they probably would’ve done everything perfectly. Unforeseen circumstances does add some challenges. Although they didn’t entirely drop the ball the day of, the transportation greatly affected our timeliness and added stress, and I think it was a slight oversight on their behalf.

Latoria Williams, and Simply Breathe Events, truly made our wedding stress-free. We used SBE for Day-Of coordination, which included planning tools, a face-to-face planning session, and countless emails. Each time I had a question, Latoria had a solution, and a response within moments. She took the time to get a sense of who we are, and our priorities, and it showed. The day of the wedding everything was well managed so that we could focus on enjoying ourselves. Wedding planning was quite the task, so having the extra help along the way was very appreciated. I highly recommend working with Latoria, or SBE, for any coordination needs!

Latoria was extremely knowledgeable when it came to ...well, everything. You can tell she has done this before. She always had a quick email or text back to me with an answer, whether it was about timing of the rehearsal or day of or taking the lead on contacting vendors for questions/concerns/anything. I used her "day-of" services and a month out she would check in often to see if I needed anything. She was always very positive and supportive, which was great considering the chaos that can come with planning a wedding. She was open to working with my friends who also ended up helping with decor at the reception. And she took the lead during rehearsal and the day of which was great! I am really happy I went with Latoria at SBE! I definitely would recommend her and her assistant!
