I could not recommend Aubrey more highly! She kept us on track and organized throughout the entire process, answered my millions of questions in a timely fashion, and brought calm in this often overwhelming process. She helped us to make the ceremony super meaningful and personalized to us. The day seemed to go off without a hitch. I say "seemed" because the bus we hired to bring guests back to the hotel after the reception never showed but Aubrey found a replacement bus for us and saved the day; we had no idea there was an issue until after the wedding and she worked with us to get a refund from the original bus company. She is so warm and was a joy to work with. All my engaged friends have been asking me for her contact information after seeing her in action.

Aubrey made our day run smoothly from start to finish. She worked with us to create a timeline for the entire day that suited our needs and preferences to make our day as special as possible. Aubrey was so easy to work with and her constant communication was super reassuring! She answered all of our questions in a timely manner and was flexible in her meeting times. She made sure our timeline was followed on our wedding day, which made the day seamless and stress-free! We would absolutely recommend Aubrey as a day-of coordinator to any couple looking for an organized and stress-free wedding day!

Deciding to work with Simply Created Events for my wedding was easily one of the best decisions we made! Nikki was so on top of things from the very beginning and went above and beyond to make sure that our wedding day was perfect. She was always quick to reply to any email or answer whatever question we had. She kept everything on track and made sure all of my vendors knew the plan and timeline. It was such a huge weight off of my shoulders to know that someone was in the background making sure everything went as planned or fix the little things that came up. Aubrey and her team are simply amazing! We hired them for month of coordination and they helped keep us organized, handled all aspects of coordinating vendors as well as walk through and rehearsal. They also handled our clean up process and no items were lost. Aubrey was incredibly quick and thorough with responses and our vendors commented how amazing and passionate she was. She handled making sure our venue was set up as we wanted, flipping the room from ceremony to reception in a timely fashion. She made our wedding vision come true and it would not have been possible without her. We cannot express enough gratitude for Aubrey!

Aubrey and her team made the lead-up to our wedding and the big day smooth and fun! We used Simply Created Events for the Day-Of Coordination and to run our rehearsal. Aubrey met with us to review all our contracts, plans and wishes months in advance and helped to fine-tune the timeline as we neared the wedding. Aubrey and her team were lovely and took any hiccups that arose with ease and care. I am so happy to have found them and would use them again in the future in a heartbeat.

Aubrey went above and beyond to make our day perfect! We were initially very worried about finding someone to help with day of coordination, but simply created event's month of planning package was perfect. Aubrey made us feel confident she had everything under control, she managed all the crazy family members and vendors, and everything was seamless! We really appreciated her guidance in the weeks leading up to our wedding day, her expertise was invaluable. We worked with Nikki for our wedding at the Mt Washington Mill Dye House in September as a month of coordinator. She was absolutely amazing and I can't recommend her enough. She made sure everything was ironed out prior to the day and there was not a single hiccup. Her timeline was incredibly helpful and communicated it to all of the other vendors. Truly, she is the very best.

Aubrey was a terrific day-of coordinator for our wedding in July 2023! She was attentive, responsive, reliable, and prepared. She and her team helped make our wedding day flow so smoothly. We were able to be fully present with our guests our whole day because Aubrey and her team were coordinating with vendors, setting things up, and keeping us on schedule. Booking Simply Created Events was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. We booked the Month of Coordination package, and from the first email, to the phone calls, to the wedding day, Aubrey was responsive, organized, supportive, and positive. We felt completely taken care of leading up to the wedding day and during it-- her and her assistant Nikki were absolutely fabulous and we were able to fully be present during the day, as they both went above and beyond to make sure everything went seamlessly. We worked with Aubrey for her month of coordinator package and were so glad to have her! She was very prompt in answering any questions we had during the planning process and was helpful in offering solutions to any problems we had. Aubrey and her assistant Sharon set everything up beautifully, kept the wedding running smoothly and were super fast in packing things away at the end of the night.

My husband and I can’t recommend Aubrey enough! She really took the time to make sure that all last minute details were taken care of, and always checked in with us to make sure we had everything we needed. She did a great job at alleviating any stress or worry during the rehearsal process and day of. She is a lovely person to work with and truly cares about each one of her clients. Aubrey was wonderful to work with, from start to finish. She made choosing vendors so easy by narrowing the field and gave a lot of helpful input along the way. She handled all of the details leading up to and on our wedding day and answered any questions we had along the way, which made the day completely zen for us. I really wasn't anticipating being so relaxed on my wedding day! It was really nice to be able to just enjoy our day and not worry about anything else. I've followed Simply Created Events on Instagram since before I was engaged because their work is beautiful and I knew I would want to use their services when the time came! I loved Aubrey as soon as I had a consultation with her! She was so thorough and made my vision come to life. I hired her for "day of" services but she really provides so much more than that. I had all my vendors booked and provided her with the info, and then she took over and took care of all those little details that would've been SO overwhelming for me to try to figure out. Her day-of timeline was a lifesaver and she even texted me throughout the day to make sure everything was running smoothly at the hotel where we were getting ready while she was at the venue putting everything together. I was able to fully enjoy my day knowing that Aubrey had everything under control. Her reasonable prices were the icing on the cake. 10/10 recommend!!

Choosing Aubrey as our full service wedding planner was the best decision we ever made! From our very first conversation with her, Aubrey made us feel so comfortable and confident throughout the wedding planning process. As two busy lawyers, she kept us on track with all the important decisions and made sure every detail was considered and perfect. She has great relationships with amazing vendors and was never shy to give us her honest opinion when we were on the fence about something. We hired Aubrey to help with our rehearsal dinner and welcome party as well. Our guests cannot stop raving about how beautiful, thoughtful and smooth the whole wedding weekend was. Aubrey was a pleasure to work with during the wedding planning process! My husband and I went with her partial package. She helped us find all of our vendors which saved a lot of time researching on our own. She provided a timeline with monthly tasks that needed to be completed to keep us on track. Our wedding was a destination wedding for almost half of our guests and we had hotels near our venue and some that were further away. Transportation for guests to the receptions seemed like a logistical nightmare but Aubrey was able to figure out the transportation and everything went very smoothly the day of the wedding. The day of the wedding Aubrey and her team kept us on our timeline and the whole day ran so smoothly. Aubrey’s services exceeded our expectations!

I cannot express how happy my husband and I were with hiring Aubrey for our wedding. She is so easy to work with and accommodating - we chose the month of package and were able to add some design services as well since we are more "math/science" people and needed lots of help making things look pretty :) She helped make sure we were doing everything we needed to, picked up our "day of" items (cake topper, guest book, etc) and set up everything on the day of our wedding. She even picked up our cake and mini cupcakes the day of the wedding! Everyone at the wedding was so impressed with how everything looked. We couldn't believe how smoothly everything went the day of our wedding. Many of our guests commented on how everything went off without a hitch! As part of the design services, we worked with Shannon, Simply Created's lettering artist, who was also an absolute godsend. She wrote and put together all our signs, table numbers, place cards, and cupcake labels. Knowing this was all being taken care of by Shannon and Aubrey was such a stress reducer leading up to the wedding. Aubrey and everything on her team have such a positive attitude that working with them feels like talking to good friends. My dad commented at the wedding how clear it was that Aubrey absolutely loved her job. She was on top of everything leading up to and at the wedding but was always such a calming presence throughout the process.

Aubrey was a joy to work with! Wedding planning is not my strong suite, but Aubrey was able to keep us on track the entire way- which resulted in minimal stress during wedding week! We did a partial package with Aubrey, which I thought was perfect. She provided a master timeline with tasks for us to complete each month- and she sent monthly reminders of those tasks to keep us up to speed. She also provided vendor suggestions which led to us having the best vendor team possible. We truly loved our photographer, caterer, florist, etc. and they were all recommendations from Aubrey. Aubrey knows her stuff and was laid back and calm the entire process, which helped ease my nerves as a bride. The day of the wedding was a hot one! Aubrey and her assistant did an amazing job keeping us on our schedule, so we could get to the dance floor as quickly as possible. They endured the heat with smiles and positive energy the entire time. I will be recommending Aubrey to any engaged friends going forward.

Aubrey and her team at Simply Created did an absolutely amazing job with our wedding. We chose their Full Planning package to help us navigate planning during Covid, and we were relieved to have Aubrey assisting us throughout the process. Aubrey was a massive help in narrowing down and ultimately choosing vendors, and presenting all of the information we needed in a way that was easy to understand. Aubrey was always able to make time for us if we had questions about contracts, vendors, timelines, decor, and literally anything else that came up. She was always responsive and never hesitated to jump on a call with us if we ever felt like we needed it. While Aubrey and team were already amazing to work with before the ceremony, we were in awe at just how perfect our wedding was, thanks in large part to Aubrey and team. Our families were skeptical when we told them that we only needed them to show up and the day would be on auto-pilot, but that's exactly what happened because of all of the hard work that Aubrey and team put in. We literally would not have changed a thing. We got so many compliments on how smoothly our wedding went, which we credit to just how good Aubrey and team are at their craft. To put it bluntly, bringing on Aubrey and the Simply Created team was the first decision we made for our wedding, and it was the best decision we made throughout the whole process. Our wedding was magical, and we can't begin to thank Aubrey and team enough for all of their work.

I can’t speak highly enough about my experience with Aubrey and her team at Simply Created Events! From our first conversation, I felt secure with Aubrey and knew I could reach out with any question that came up. We hired Aubrey Canale with Simply Created for our daughter's wedding, mainly because it was in Baltimore and we needed guidance for vendors, etc. What we got exceeded expectations! Aubrey not only supplied us with musicians, hotel block, florist, photographer and every thinkable other source, but kept us on a timeline which made our wedding stress-free and joyful! Aubrey was like a member of our family. We would recommend her to anyone without reservations! Worth her weight in gold!

I am convinced that Aubrey and I are now life long friends because that is how special she made us feel as a client. We had a lot of moving parts (well, who doesn't I guess) since my Fiancé had contacts in the industry he wanted to use to help save on some costs. Aubrey was there for all of it helping us iron out these sometimes very complicated details and she did it with ease and always seemingly relaxed. She came highly recommended to us (shout out to Elle L below lol) and I am so glad she did! I would have been truly lost without her.

Aubrey was a godsend on the wedding day! She and her mom orchestrated the timing of everything perfectly. They also helped set up the decor and helped manage the timing of all the vendors. Aubrey was fantastic! We hired her as our “day-of” wedding coordinator, which really means a lot more than just the day of. She coordinated with all of our vendors ahead of time, met with us several times, and, most importantly, took care of all of the details on our wedding day. We didn’t have to worry about anything, because we knew everything was in Aubrey’s capable hands. Many of our friends commented how relaxed we were, and we can attribute a lot of that to Aubrey. I can’t say enough good things about her.

Aubrey was a life saver! Planning a wedding during COVID19 turned out to be more than we could handle, which is why we reached out to her for her DOC service. The only regret we have is that we didn't find her sooner. She was able to quickly organize everything for us and help relieve all of the stress that had been built up. Our wedding turned out amazing and we know that without Aubrey we wouldn't have been able to make it happen.

I thought I could handle pulling my wedding together and then Covid-19. We held out hope for our May 15th Wedding day but as we all know, this was a big nope. We decided to move the date to September 5th and at this point I was in over my head with work, planning and my Matron of Honor lives 2 hours away so my dreams went down the drain. I reached out to Aubrey and it was the best decision I made. She helped us find a new venue, took over all my planning and tweaked where needed. She handled all of the vendors and brought my vision to life on our special day. I am beyond grateful for her help and will forever have memories of a perfect wedding day in such a crazy time. Aubrey is so, so wonderful and we couldn't be more thrilled with everything she, her mother and her husband did for us. They moved heaven and earth to help us have the wedding of our dreams despite all sorts of COVID-related changes (including moving our date up by 6 weeks -- if they can handle that, they can handle anything!) Aubrey guided us through the early stages of planning, brought our vision to life with the decor and setting at the reception, helped us negotiate contracts, recommended great vendors, and made the wedding weekend run so smoothly that I never felt like I had to lift a finger. Aubrey is fantastic! We hired her for partial planning and it was worth every penny and more. She is kind, patient, calm, charismatic and very organized. My wedding was at the Peabody Library where she has a lot of experience. This was really important to me because they have a lot of rules. Along the way she answered every question I had and was very clear and confident with her suggestions. She attended the food tasting, a visit to Select rentals to decide on table setting upgrades, and the floral sample (including setting up a mock table with all of the linens/table settings so we could really see the full look ahead of time). She makes herself part of the set up and the take down so all of your valuable personal items are kept together. Every time I thought I forgot about something, she hadn’t. She even dropped flowers back at the hotel after the wedding so we could reuse them for our brunch. She expertly manages vendors and did a seamless hand-off when it came time for me to pass all the work to her in the months before the wedding. She also has working relationships with many vendors.. especially our Caterer who she worked closely with throughout the entire process. Any time I expressed stress/anxiety, she handled it and I never heard about it again. She was 10 steps ahead.. always! The week of the wedding she came to my parents to get all the items for the wedding and to walk us through everything.. it really put all of us at ease! My family loved her! Her timeline was spot on and really helped me visualize the wedding day from start to finish. On the day of the wedding Aubrey and her assistant Sharon were there every step of the way.. and when I say nothing went wrong... literally nothing went wrong. It was a perfect wedding! She's fantastic and you should hire her!

Simply Created Events is simply the best! We used Simply Created Events for partial planning and day of coordinator services and we could not have been happier with our big day! I am a very picky bride and a marketing consultant so I have experience planning and executing special events. I knew I wanted to be hands on with my wedding and make sure every detailed reflected my relationship with my groom. When I began my search, I reached out to several wedding planner vendors including Simply Created Events and Aubrey was the only one who (A) impressed my mom and (B) was a perfect fit for how I wanted to plan my wedding. She was highly recommended by our caterer and our reception venue expressed how much they enjoy working with her. Throughout the planning process and during the big day, Aubrey exceeded all of my expectations! She even drew compliments from the groom's mother and my bridesmaids for keeping everything on time and running smoothly despite the fact that this was a Filipino wedding and those are notorious for running late. When we first started working with Aubrey, I had already selected most of my vendors but she helped us pick our florist, transportation, lighting, and DJ. All of whom did an amazing job giving me the Pinterest-worthy wedding of my dreams. As a hands-on bride, I wanted to do a lot of the creative details and Aubrey was there to bounce ideas of and advise on what would be feasible in our event space. She handled all of the logistical details so I could concentrate on areas of wedding planning that I enjoyed. Aubrey also gave us a planning timeline that was custom to our wedding and was always available to respond to my emails in a timely manner. Aubrey attended and scheduled all of the vendor meetings we needed for planning and was always early. She always made sure we made the decisions we needed to moving things along. Aubrey was such a pleasure to work with during the planning phases but during the rehearsal and the big day, that is where she absolutely shines! I'm so used to having to be in control of everything but she took reigns and made sure our very large wedding party knew what to do during the ceremony and reception. During the morning of, Aubrey and her assistant Sharon were on their A game and made sure the trains were running on time. They even took the time to make sure I ate something so I'd have energy for the rest of the day. Aubrey and Sharon took care of everything and all I had to worry about was making sure my mascara didn't run when I did my first look with my groom. Before the reception started, we were taking a lot of bride and groom pictures. Aubrey came to check on us and brought bottles of water. It was a small thing but made such a huge difference. At the actual reception, Aubrey helped make my "Crazy Rich Asians" wedding dreams come true by helping to organize a tunnel of glowing streamers that the groom and I passed through. All of the vendors were well taken care of and executed everything flawlessly thanks to Aubrey. She made sure we were able to enjoy our wedding. If I have any advice for those starting wedding planning, hire Aubrey! Aubrey absolutely loves weddings and it comes through in her work :)

Aubrey and her team at Simply Created Events were one of the best decisions my husband and I made during our wedding planning. I met Aubrey at a bridal show over a year before our date, and booked her right away! Her personality was infectious and her work looked amazing. We contracted her for "day of" services, but she did so much more than just our wedding day! She was in constant contact with us the month leading up to our wedding. In addition to creating a flawless time line, she took care of so many of our details. She welcomed us into her home to review plans the week of, and even let us drop off a bunch of our "wedding things" to her, which she transported to our venue the day of. That was SUCH a help! It was such a relief to not have to worry about all of those things, and how they were getting to/from our venue. She was a real lifesaver! I was very impressed that she also coordinated with our other wedding vendors so I really felt like everyone was on the same page, and I knew our wedding day was in great hands. I would give Simply Created Events 10 stars if I could! Thank you Aubrey & team for making our day amazing!

Aubrey was amazing! Her help was invaluable. Worth every penny spent for the day of and month of coordination! My husband said "wow, they were incredible!" My daughter and her fiance live on the west coast and came east for their big day so that their wedding location was closer to their family and friends. Aubrey was a wonderful sounding board and kept me sane as planning an east coast wedding with a west coast couple had its challenges! Aubrey and Sharon were wonderful to work with and once the wedding day arrived - they took complete ownership of the day. They were pure grace under pressure as the ceremony and cocktails were planned to be outside along with pictures before the ceremony. A rain deluge and thunderstorm began at 3pm and ended at 9pm! They took care of everything and transitioned to the rain plan without a hiccup. I don't even think many of the guests were aware that this was the back-up plan. They were so easy to work with, upbeat and calm. My daughter and her bridesmaids loved these ladies as they stayed in the background but were so personable and pleasant but made sure all was moving along according to plan. Thank you Aubrey!! If I could select more than 5/5 stars for Aubrey and Sharon I would. This team is amazing!!! Even my Husband who was against hiring a day of/month of coordinator from the start ("why would we pay for this? we can handle this ourselves") was SO glad we hired Aubrey and Sharon to help us. He never admits he's wrong :) but he does admit they were amazing and that our day would not have gone as smoothly without them. Hands down one of the best decisions we made in regarding to our wedding. The money is well worth it. In hind sight, I would have paid 2x for the services that Aubrey and Sharon provided had I know how awesome they were, truly how helpful they would be along the way, and how many hours they put into making our day perfect - from answering etiquette questions leading up to the event, reaching out to our vendors 30 days out, to making sure everything ran smoothly the day of the wedding, and even making sure all of our items (decor, pictures, cake, clothing, etc.) was back into our rooms by the end of the night. These ladies are MAGIC. Always around when we needed them, but never noticed them when things were going smoothly. I don't know how they do it. #dreamteam

Initially, we were unsure if we were going to hire a wedding planner- well that would have most certainly been our biggest mistake! After our first conversation with Aubrey, my mom & I quickly called each other back & simultaneously said, "why didn't we book her sooner?!" She's very quick to respond and always offers new suggestions or ideas that I would never have thought of! She also makes sure to keep you on track of your "to-dos", which was really helpful, especially if/when I was indecisive about any detail or part of the wedding. Another thing I really valued was Aubrey's ideas & solutions when my parents & I had different opinions on certain items- she was professional & creative, & everyone stayed happy. Aubrey has worked with so many Baltimore vendors, so her feedback was invaluable when it came to those decisions, especially since we live in North Carolina. It was also invaluable when it came time for the day of timeline- she took care of handling every vendor & there wasn't a minute of the day my husband, or our families had to worry about. Sharon, Aubrey's business partner, was also wonderful to work with! She took care of so many details on the day of our wedding & helped make it go on without a hitch! While I've heard many couples say not having a videographer was their biggest regret, I can without hesitation say that not hiring Simply Created Events would have been ours. Aubrey is awesome! I selected a partial package with Aubrey - we already had some details finalized (date, venue, dress, caterer, hotel) when we engaged her and just needed some help with remaining vendors and definitely wanted day-of coordination. I wish there were 10 stars for each category above because 5 just isn't enough! For the remaining vendors we needed, Aubrey would provide a shortlist, provide some helpful tips and then discuss any concerns we had before making our final decision. Everyone we worked with, including vendors referred by Aubrey, were simply phenomenal! Aubrey is detail-oriented and very communicative. She is a great guide and sounding board for any ideas - and is very gentle when your "bride-side" wants to go a bit wild. And, she didn't skip a beat when I asked if my mom could join every one of our calls and even email her directly. My wedding would not have happened without Aubrey!

At first we weren't sure whether we wanted to spend extra money on a wedding coordinator, but we were so glad we did and couldn't have had a better partner than Aubrey! She made sure everything went smoothly on the day of our wedding and that we didn't have to worry about a thing. From fixing the bow and bustle on my dress to distributing final payments and tips to vendors to packing up all of our things at the end of the night, Aubrey had everything under complete control. Even though we only hired Aubrey for day-of coordination, she was available throughout the planning process to answer questions, provide advice, and recommend vendors. She also came to our final walk-through at our venue and coordinated the wedding rehearsal. I highly recommend hiring a coordinator if you don't have one at your venue to take care of all of the details of the day, and you definitely can't go wrong with Aubrey and Simply Created Events!

It only took one meeting with Aubrey to decide that I needed to work with her to plan my wedding. I hired Simply Created Events for full-service planning and I could not possibly be happier with this decision. Aubrey was incredibly helpful throughout every step of the process. She recommended and set up several venue visits, sent me regular checklists throughout the planning process, and kept my "head in the game" for the lack of a better word. When my wedding day arrived, I had full confidence in Simply Created Events to execute the day of my dreams - and it was everything I could have hoped for. I used Aubrey as my coordinator and she was AMAZING! Seriously if you are on the fence about whether to get a planner at all, or whether you should choose her or another one, think no further! I used her day-of services but also negotiated with a little extra cost for her to help other things such as flowers & general décor. First of all her prices are fantastic and you should book her before she rightfully increases them, since she is so amazing! Second, I consider myself a very organized person so fought the idea of having a planner at first but I never regretted it at all after booking her. She was so helpful along the way and so communicative & responsive, even with things that I don't really think were in her job description. She is so available by email which was a huge plus for me, not living in the same place as where I had my wedding. Her taste is impeccable, but more than just creating a 'vision', she is SUPER organized & on top of all the little details for the wedding day that make it go so seamlessly. I did not want to have to be fielding phone calls from vendors or worrying about scheduling and small details on my wedding day and she delivered and I was able to fully relax & enjoy the entire day! I can say for sure that I would not have had as much fun and time to enjoy all of my friends/family (and new husband!) if I had not had Aubrey (and her assistant Sharon who was wonderful also!)

Hiring Aubrey to handle our wedding was one of the best decisions we made. She is personable, friendly, and knowledgeable. Aubrey's prices were also very reasonable. We chose her middle of the road package, but she went above and beyond our expectations. She recommended vendors, attended meetings, and calmly answered A LOT of questions. It was a huge relief to know that all of the details would be taken care of, we didn't have to transport things, or set things up. It was also nice to know that someone with experience was involved and would think of the details that we otherwise wouldn't have. Our wedding went smoothly, with no hiccups. I can't imagine how we would have pulled it off without her!

Planning a wedding can be incredibly stressful, and that was definitely true for me. Working with Aubrey and Simply Created Events was the absolute best choice I made in the entire planning process. While our contract only included day-of coordination, Aubrey went above and beyond, helping out well beyond what the contract stipulated. She is so nice and so easy to work with and really put me at ease on the day of my wedding. Everything looked beautiful due in large part to Aubrey and her team. She really listened to what I wanted and made sure everything was done perfectly. She also helped me work with the other vendors I had hired and was a great go between when some of them became difficult. In short, she saved me so many head aches and was a delight to work with. Aubrey is amazing. I can't give her a review that would possibly do her justice. I can't recommend her and her team enough.

A few months into wedding planning I realized that we would need day-of help. It was really important to me that my family and I could relax and enjoy the day while at the same time I wanted to be sure all the details were executed just the way I planned. Aubrey was the perfect solution. Even though we only hired her for day-of coordination, she was an invaluable resource during the whole planning process. She was always available to answer my questions and provide recommendations. I can’t even express how helpful it was to have someone that I could ask “what do most people do??”. I was impressed with Aubrey from the very start, but was in awe in her the week of our wedding. She was so organized and paid attention to details I hadn’t even thought of. Being a planner myself I loved all of her timelines and checklists. One of the most helpful things was handing over all of our do-it-yourself projects to Aubrey a few days before the wedding. It was such a relief knowing they were in Aubrey’s hands and she was going to set-up everything up as planned. Aubrey was a lifesaver during our rehearsal. My husband’s uncle was marrying us (he was ordained online). None of us really knew what we were doing so Aubrey ran the entire rehearsal instructing everyone on when to walk, where to stand, what to say when, etc. When the day-of finally came, my family and I didn’t worry about a single thing. Aubrey took care of everything behind the scenes in her calm, professional manner. Every time I looked up during the reception, Aubrey was there either with a reassuring smile or a fresh drink. When the wedding ended, everything was magically packed up and ready to go. Thanks to Aubrey, the entire day was so much fun and completely stress-free. I can’t recommend Simply Created Events enough- Aubrey is a must!

We decided a couple of months before the wedding to hire a day of coordinator. We went to the Baltimore Bridal Show and met Aubrey and Sharon. There was just something about them that we liked. Even though we only hired them for the rehearsal and day of, Aubrey took care of contacting all the vendors and coordinating the set up. The whole day ended up being stress free for both the parents and the bride and groom. They even called the honeymoon hotel to let them know that the bride and groom were going to be late. They were worth every penney.

After about 5 months of planning our wedding on our own, my husband and I decided that a day of coordinator would be well worth the price of a stress free day for the both of us. After reading some reviews online and checking availability, we decided to meet with Aubrey from Simply Created Events. It wasn't even a tough decision, we knew she was the one right off the bat! We were so pleased that we even contracted her to help with some of the wedding planning activities beyond the day of coordiation services she offers. Aubrey quickly involved herself in our wedding planning, taking over the most stressful part of the planning process, the caterer who was also brand new to our wedding venue. If I had to deal with them on my own over months of planning, I would have probably decided to elope to Las Vegas instead. Beyond working with our caterer, Aubrey contacted all of our other chosen vendors, provided opinions when asked, and created a timeline for the day of the wedding (a lot of things would have been missing if I had done it myself). On the day of our wedding, I couldn't have been more stress free! I knew in the back of my head that the ceremony and reception sites would be set up to perfection, and that everyone would be kept on track because Aubrey had my back. I don't think I have ever had so much fun, probably because I didn't have to worry about anything at all. All of our guests keep telling us how great of a time they had at our wedding, eating, singing, dancing. In the back of my mind, I know it was because I had the help of Aubrey from Simply Created Events to make sure that my wedding was as stress free as possible for me, and therefore allowed me to enjoy the company of my friends and family on my one and only day. Thank you Aubrey!

We had a really wonderful, stress-free wedding day, and Aubrey was BY FAR the biggest reason for it. We knew what we wanted in a wedding (a big party), but we wanted to approach it in a relaxed way. To be honest, the only reason we even looked into a wedding planner is because my mother-in-law was not as confident in our methods, and I have to say that I am SO HAPPY we found Aubrey (recommended by our venue, Hyatt Baltimore Inner Harbor). She did a great job staying in contact with all of our vendors throughout the process, she helped us identify quality vendors within our budget, and on the actual day, she and her assistant (mother) were amazing. Plus her prices were incredibly reasonable. In fact, multiple times during the process, my husband and I would talk about how we felt like she deserved so much more! Two examples: A couple of days before the ceremony, we realized that theknot.com had messed up our orders for the wedding favors/placeholders (glass apothecary jars instead of frames), and she somehow managed to make me believe that it would all be ok. And, it WAS! With her guidance we got theknot to overnight the correct supplies to the hotel, and she somehow managed to put them all together without breaking a sweat. To be honest, I never even saw it happening, I just saw the perfect results. And finally... my brother came up to me at the end of the reception and told me what a great job Aubrey had done. Apparently, right before the ceremony, my adorable niece started fussing, and since my parents, brother, and sister-in law were all in the wedding, he basically just thrust the screaming baby into her arms, and she said "no problem" and took her, calming her down. I did sort of wonder why Aubrey was holding the baby when I walked into the church, but everyone seemed so calm and happy that I had no idea there had been anything wrong. Aubrey is awesome.

Aubrey was fantastic to work with on so many different levels. After doing the vast majority of the planning and preparation ourselves, we were more than happy to have someone we trusted take on the challenge of coordinating all our carefully crafted plans and making sure things went smoothly on the biggest weekend of our lives. From pre-rehearsal preparations all the way through the last dance, she made us feel completely comfortable even though we didn’t give her a whole lot of detail to work with until pretty much the last minute. Working from a blank slate in a public park she was able to take on the set up and break down of our ceremony area, managing musicians, rentals, florals, other décor elements we provided, as well as some early bird guests. She also coordinated set up and clean up for the reception, taking an established restaurant space which had its own décor and atmosphere and really personalizing it, making it our own for the evening. She followed through with the restaurant and other vendors, making sure all of our plans were executed according to our wishes. Aubrey made sure items from the ceremony made it to the reception in time to be reused there, reducing the amount we had to spend on décor/flowers, and that all of our gifts and other important items were delivered safely to our room at the end of the night. She was both efficient and resourceful, recruiting appropriate helpers when she needed them and insisting that we don’t lift a finger to help. She even ‘discreetly’ but decisively removed some wedding crashers who apparently knew a good party when they saw one! She really took the reins that day and always looked cool and in control. Maybe most impressively of all, she managed to get some dancing time in (since she was not only a coordinator, but also a guest!) without dropping any of the numerous balls we gave her to juggle. We marveled that day at how smoothly everything went, knowing that weddings are huge productions with tons of moving parts. Being able to sit back and really absorb that ‘we-pulled-it-off’ feeling was priceless and I know we wouldn’t have had the time to do that without Aubrey’s help. For that feeling alone, we enthusiastically recommend Simply Created Events and thank them from the bottom of our hearts.
