d and I was overwhelmed but we had Nikki to keep all the information straight and attend our final vendor meetings with us. Nikki made the day run so flawlessly and it was a relief to know that I knew she would be there to remind me what we needed to do and when. I had multiple other vendors compliment me on how well organized everything was and always had to tell them that it was all because of Nikki! She is so well organized and takes on so many jobs on the day of. I truly would’ve been a mess without her. Our only regret is not hiring her to do more of the planning!! Truly worth every penny. I’d recommend Nikki and Simply Created Events to anyone!!!

was discussed, it can be very disappointing. We hired Simply Created Events for day-of coordination with the expectation that they would help ensure our plans were executed smoothly. Unfortunately, our experience fell short of those expectations. Timeline and Coordination Issues We were provided with a timeline prior to the wedding, but important logistical information was missing. Several vendors noted that key portions of their responsibilities were not included, resulting in fragmented planning and the need for separate coordination documents. Additionally, our wedding party reported receiving little to no direction before walking down the aisle, which is reflected in the organization of the processional. Planned Events Not Carried Out Movie Presentation The coordinator’s own timeline referenced the movie experience in the theater (“Small theater has Good Will Hunting and candy”). However, on the wedding day, we were asked where the movie was. We had never been informed that we needed to provide a file or copy of the movie in advance, and it was ultimately never shown. Birthday Surprise We had planned a birthday surprise for several guests, including singing “Happy Birthday” and presenting custom cupcakes. This was discussed in email communication with another vendor (who had the coordinator CC’d). However, because the coordinator stated that it did not need to be discussed further during our walkthrough, we never told her that we had purchased custom cupcakes for these guests, and it was not included in the final timeline. The surprise was ultimately not successfully carried out. Setup and Execution Issues We provided a flight board display that only needed to be hung and assembled, but it was incorrectly arranged and appeared incomplete in photos. Our game room sign was left on the floor rather than being placed on the easel we had provided, and a retail packaging sticker remained on our cocktail hour menu frame. Several detail items were not set up in time for our media team. Because these items were not ready for our detail photos, we had to transport multiple items—including signage and seating materials—afterward to recreate the material. Ceremony Notes We explicitly communicated that children under six were not invited to the ceremony, and this instruction was included on the coordinator’s own timeline as “NO CHILDREN AT CEREMONY.” Despite this, children under six who were not part of the wedding party were present during the ceremony. During setup, we observed a young child (appearing to be approximately 10 years old) actively assisting with arranging wedding items, including decor and display pieces. Final Notes The coordinator did assist with cleanup at the end of the event, and all of our items were returned to us. While some personal items required organization prior to the event, many of the issues we experienced involved details that had been discussed in advance but were not executed as planned. Overall, we left our wedding feeling there were significant communication and execution issues. Couples considering this company should ensure all expectations and responsibilities are clearly documented and confirmed in writing before the wedding day.
