Working with Abbey Slee of Simply Delightful Events was one of the greatest gifts of our wedding planning process. From the very beginning, Abbey was warm, professional, and incred...
ibly organized. She guided us through each step of the planning with clear communication and thoughtful check-ins that always made me feel supported and ahead of schedule.
In the weeks leading up to the wedding, Abbey’s attention to detail was unmatched. She worked through every part of the timeline with us, carefully planning transitions and logistics in a way that made the day run seamlessly. She communicated with our vendors, confirmed every detail, and made sure no stone was left unturned. It was clear she had done this many times before and truly cared about making the day perfect for us.
On the wedding day itself, Abbey was the calm in the center of it all. Her demeanor was steady and reassuring, which allowed me to stay grounded and soak in every moment. Because she was handling everything with such grace and ease behind the scenes, I was able to be completely present- from getting ready in the morning, to our first look, to walking down the aisle, to the dance floor at the end of the night.
I trusted Abbey fully with important personal details- like managing my sentimental dress change, heirloom jewelry, and handling cards and gifts- and she treated them all with such care and discretion. She was everywhere she needed to be without ever being in the way.
Allowing Abbey to take the reins gave me, my husband, and my family the freedom to actually enjoy our wedding day. I truly cannot imagine how different the day would have felt without her guidance and presence. She is, without a doubt, my top recommendation for any future couple looking for not just a planner, but a true partner in the process.

nd efficient. She coordinated with all our vendors and made sure the day went smoothly. She helped us decide on things we didn’t even know we needed to think about and she kept us on track with planning in the 6-8 weeks leading up to our wedding day. She made the day so special and stress free so we could enjoy it and be present. We’ve already recommended her to our friends and would absolutely choose her again if we were to repeat the day.
Abbey was absolutely AMAZING! We hired her for full service planning. She helped me keep my ducks in a row for over a year leading up to the wedding, she knew a surplus of vendors ...
that could help save us money while still providing excellent service, and she reminded me of things that I would have never thought about on my own. As we approached the wedding she helped with getting place cards made and other decor ready to go. She made deliveries for us to different sites. She helped me stay relaxed the day of the wedding, coming up with a rain plan that we luckily didn’t need, sewing a piece back on my dress minutes before walking down the isle, and was patient with our rowdy wedding party. I didn’t have to deal with or worry about a single thing during the wedding. People told us it was the smoothest wedding they’d ever been to and I couldn’t agree more!

y for our daughter. In 2021, we celebrated the bride and groom's one year anniversary, with delayed reception similar to what we originally planned. She took all the pressure off of me and handled both evenings with ease. She helped with the prep work, vendors, contracts, setting up at the venue, making sure the events went smoothly and cleaning up as well.
