We cannot thank Julie and Callie enough for all of their hard work putting together our dream day. Julie took a tremendous amount of time to sit down with us and understand our vision and what exactly we were wanting, and then went above and beyond in making it happen. It was clearly evident from our first meeting that Julie is passionate about all things wedding, and this passion translates into stunning work. While we only hired Julie for floral and decor services, her knowledge of the wedding industry and the recommendations she so willingly shared with us, proved invaluable. She took a tremendous amount of stress off of our shoulders, and made a huge part of our wedding planning a breeze. We received so many compliments throughout the night (and still now, 2 weeks later) from family and friends who were just absolutely amazed at the stunning centerpieces Julie created and how beautifully everything came together. We are forever grateful and would choose Julie again a thousand times over.

Julie and her team met with me and my MOH and reviewed our options and offered to assist with items outside of flowers, if we needed it. They were flexible and helpful throughout the process. Day of, there was a slight glitch with where to put the arch flowers which they were able to problem solve and find a solution. Everything turned out great!

Dear Julie, I cannot thank you enough for what you did. You seriously made my dreams come true. I was so afraid that what I pictured in my mind would not executed the same way, but Julie ended up going above and beyond, and made all of my dreams come true. She worked with me to make sure I got what I wanted, but also within my budget. So if something was completely out of budget, she worked with me to see what my other options were. All in all, my husband and I are were very pleased with her work, and the short amount of time she had to quickly turnover from my wedding décor to my reception décor. Due to mine and my husbands crazy schedules (and numerous consults we had with other decorators), he never got the opportunity to meet Julie and see her previous work, but even he was pleased with everything she did – and so were all of our guests. We received numerous compliments (and have no one to thank, but Julie). One thing I really appreciated as well, was that she worked with my EXACT color theme. I showed her exact color themes I wanted and she executed it!!! Sometimes, if she felt like a certain color/shade, centerpiece, or design would look better, she gave her opinion (and I am so glad she did, because it seriously looked amazing). You are so talented, Julie – don’t ever stop what you are doing!! (Another side note people should know: As I mentioned earlier, we met with numerous decorators – some who couldn’t provide us with what we wanted, some who were crazy over priced, and some who wouldn’t even respond to us. We narrowed it down to three final decorators before deciding who to go with, and we decided on Julie, because a friend recommended her to me, and told me I would not be disappointed at all, and I couldn’t have been happier with our decision, and my friends suggestion). We HIGHLY recommend Julie. I assure you that her work is AMAZING (and speaks for itself through photographs even)! Thank you for everything, Julie. We honestly couldn’t have been happier. I can’t wait to recommend you to all of my friends and family!!!

Julie and Callie at Simply Elegant are beyond fantastic!!!! Our wedding was on 10/27 and ALL of our guests raved at how gorgeous, fun and we'll put together everything was! I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Julie and her team! Hired for both, day of coordinator and floral, she took and executed exactly what I wanted for our special day! Planning a destination wedding was a bit of a challenge but Julie was so amazing and took the lead with meetings and vendors! She went above and beyond on our wedding day to make sure my vision was exact! The florals and design she provided were absolutely beautiful! We had about 9 months to plan a 3 day extravagant Indian wedding! We both have full time jobs and were new in the city. We met with Julie the first night, and we knew she was the one we had to have to plan our extravaganza. She put us at ease that first meeting, we were already stressed and overwhelmed about planning this wedding. She took our ideas and our likes into consideration with every step and every detail of the wedding. It was nice to have someone who always had your interests as their first priority. From day 1 we could tell that her entire goal was to make sure we got the exact wedding we wanted. Venue hunting can get tiring and frustrating, but Julie kept going, even when we changed our minds from wanting a resort to a free standing wedding venue. I always wanted an outdoor wedding, but that was not possible with an August wedding in Phoenix! I settled for at least having windows at the venue we get married in, but little did I know that was a tough task as well. Leave it to Julie to find us the exact place I would have imagined, with windows, wood floors and the rustic but elegant feel we were going for. She knew a lot of people in the business and most of our vendors were ones that she has worked with. Not only did they have nothing but great things to say about Julie, but they were amazing at what they did. It was great to not have to hunt for separate vendors either. Come wedding weekend, everything was set and ready to go. This is when we saw the actual genius at work! Her decorations were breathtaking, each event was transformed into a magical bollywood set. Of course we prepared ourselves for the small glitches that would come up. But Julie and her team made sure that even those small glitches were perfect. The weekend was so magical and such a fairy tale. Our guests all had the best time ever, and enjoyed every moment. We would highly recommend Julie Hurt and Simply Elegant to plan and decorate your wedding or any event. We are so grateful to her and her team for giving us the perfect dream wedding.

Julie and her team are truly the best, they did an amazing job with my wedding. She took my vision and went far beyond my expectations. When I first met her, I knew within first two minutes that wedding planning is not just her job, but her passion. She is pleasant, professional, responsive, honest and most of all elegant. If you want have an elegant wedding, definitely utilize Simply Elegant. You will NOT be disappointment. At first we weren't going to hire a planner or designer because we thought we couldn't afford it. We were going with our "friends" who offered to help us. Then a few months in to planning, they were no where to be found! In a panic, we called Simply Elegant!! Julie and her team were so helpful for my husband and I. I am certain they are 100% the reason (combined with prayer of course) why my wedding was as stress-free and beautiful as it was. There were so many details that we didn't have to worry about. Simply Elegant literally handled all of those and did it well. We could tell how professional they were and how much experience they had. Not to mention, they have connections with several vendors in the community and often can get "relationship discounts" for you. The unique thing about Simply Elegant is they are a one stop shop! The do set up, take down, design, flowers, and own their entire inventory. I loved the relationship we were able to build with Julie and her team. We felt like they really cared about us personally and it wasn't just about the money or the "business". We felt like our wedding was IMPORTANT to them even though they probably had other weddings to do. We "felt" like ours was their only one. We were DEFINITELY on a budget and a tight one-, but Simply Elegant was the only planning company that was willing to work with us. They were creative, re-assuring, and confident in their abilities. We couldn't have done it without them. We definitely recommend them highly.

If you put Jennifer Lopez off "the Wedding Planner and David Tutera from my fair wedding in and put them into a math equation Julie would be the answer. For starters she went over and beyond to make my dream wedding come true, the flour decor was jaw dropping and the venue was the perfect place to make our dreams come true. Julie is/was AMAZING !! My husband thought he would be able to plan a wedding witout a planner and looking back I would have regreted the idea had I gone through without it. She is truly the best and she was helpful and made us feel like we were a priority always, which made it very personal. She knows the ends and outs of the wedding planning world and makes it happen!any bride out there planning to tie the knot you cant go wrong with Julie Hurt, you would truly be missing out if you did not give her the chance to make your day special and spectacular like she did ours. Julie did an amazing job with the decor and floral arrangements for our wedding! I provided her with flower examples from a magazine and our flower arrangements were exactly as pictured and I loved them! She was able to transform my venue into an elegant affair! Her guidance during the planning stages was superb and she allows her bride the freedom to be involved as much or as little as they desire! She can be assertive in areas a bride may need her to be, as in our case was with our lighting guy. She was able to get lighting for our venue within our budget needs! She has a great listening ear for her bride's needs and will tailor her presence according to the situation. She was extremely helpful in all aspects of my wedding planning, right down to the smallest details, including making me a stunning card box for the gift table! My guests were complimenting the decor and venue for weeks after the wedding!

We had our wedding recently and were blown away with how beautiful things were. Additionally, the quality in the design was very detailed and geared to our specifications. We were really happy with the service and would not change one thing with the design and decor. The centerpieces were amazing, the lighting was perfect, and the accents on the tables and through the facility really created a comfortable, calm and romantic atmosphere. Everything went exactly according to plan and that means a lot!

Julie, I can't thank you enough for making my wedding day as beautiful as it can get! my breath was taken away once I entered the church and even more once I arrived to the ballroom. You went above and beyond of what was expected. You were extremely flexible with last minute changes. Your professionalism made the planning a lot easier! you went ahead and contacted the church and the venue without me asking, to make sure that everything went smoothly on the wedding day! EVERYONE at the wedding had a lovely comment about the decoration. I was looking for a very elegant and vintage look and did exactly what I wanted! You did what I couldn't express with words but deep inside I was dreaming about! I wouldn't change anything about your work! You put your %100 just to make sure that everything fell together nicely! You have a vision and you're able to see what a bride really wants and just make it happen. Also, you made the long distance wedding planning easier than I thought it would be by sending pictures of various center pieces, linens, and mock ups!
