We met members of the Simply Fresh team when we were just starting to plan a wedding reception. They instantly won us over, not only with the yummy tastes they offered, but with their friendly enthusiasm, imagination, and willingness to help us with the “big picture” of our event beyond the menu. From that first encounter, we decided that Simply Fresh would be our caterer of choice. And our instincts were right: Every team member we encountered was a delight, and the food for our party was fun, fresh, and delicious. Highly recommend!!!

Our experience with Simply Fresh Events was simply amazing!! We have nothing but absolute praise for them! From the very beginning, everyone we worked with was SO nice, personable, helpful, communicative - the list goes on and on! We worked with Buffy at the start - and she was so helpful and patient with us trying to finalize our proposal/contract. Later for the day of, we worked with Hillary and she was spectacular! Both were so easy to work with and helped our wedding be stress-free. The food was INCREDIBLE! We got married 6 months ago and we still have people complimenting our food. The menu was completely customizable so you could have it be whatever you wanted. The portions were huge and left people feeling full and happy at the end of dinner. Plus we got to take all leftover food back to the hotel with us! All in all it was a 10000/10 experience! We could not recommend them enough to anyone looking for a caterer!

Maya and the Simply Fresh Team were absolutely amazing. They showed us the utmost professionalism through and through. From the very beginning when we were searching for a food vendor to the reception itself, the Simply Fresh Team continued to be responsive and so helpful. It's clear that they understand how stressful planning a wedding can be and went out of their way to help me out and make things as easy as possible each and every time. The food was great quality - we had lots of compliments throughout the entire night. I would recommend them to anyone for any event! They really helped make our wedding a night to remember. We are so thankful to have chosen Simply Fresh Events for both our catering and wedding coordination. The food was absolutely delicious and made on site. They made our dessert dreams come true with our request of peanut butter pie and pumpkin pie. The taste testing was a wonderful experience and helped us refine our menu to ensure each item was what we were hoping. We worked with Hillary Clagett as our wedding coordinator from Simply Fresh Events. She was very communicative, experienced, and asked all the questions we didn’t think about that made sure our event was perfect. The day of she was wonderful with coordinating the wedding party, answering questions, and making sure that we were fed. She is absolutely wonderful!

Simply Fresh is so wonderful to work with! They were able to accommodate our guests' allergies, dietary restrictions, and our own personal tastes. The planning process went smoothly and the pricing is transparent.

We used Simply Fresh Events for our wedding on 9/17/22 and they were AMAZING. We started with a tasting and met Geoff who is one of the owners. He was super nice and you could tell he is extremely experienced and the whole company is so organized from top to bottom. The food was awesome and they will customize your menu any way you want. They also cook everything on site which is amazing. They are pretty much a one stop shop and can handle an event pretty much anywhere. We had our wedding on our family farm and it was about 160 people. There is no water or electricity on site where we wanted to have the wedding. They not only provided the delicious food but also handled the tent, restroom trailer, generators, water, all rentals (tables, chair linens, etc.) and the full bar! Every staff member was super nice and the whole thing flowed so smoothly. They also give you the option to add wedding planning services and they assign you a planner who also is your day of coordinator. Christa was our planner/coordinator and she was incredible. She was beyond helpful and to get ready and she came out to the farm twice before the wedding and to the rehearsal to make sure everything was going to be perfect. The day of, she had everything under control and pretty much told me to not worry about anything and that she had it covered. It could not have been more true. She's also super nice and fun to work with and was a huge part of making our experience so great. We felt there was so much added value in their services because there are so many less people you have to coordinate with since handle pretty much everything. We highly recommend Simply Fresh to anyone!

Our wedding was at Glen Echo Park which offers a list of a dozen or so approved caterers. We started reviewing them as soon as we had our date locked in and Simply Fresh quickly became the top pick. The process started very smoothly. The sales team worked with us to understand our vision for a fun, whimsical, summery menu, and one that would be cool and refreshing since our event was outdoors in August. After we signed the contract, we were transferred to our event contact, who led us through the tasting and helped us pick linens, tables and other rental items. She also went above and beyond to help us source a regional beer that wasn’t usually in the offering. Unfortunately, she left the company around the time of the walkthrough. One of the company’s execs led us through the walkthrough and offered great suggestions before transitioning to our new contact. That handoff was, unfortunately, not smooth. We’re not sure if the walkthrough notes weren’t reviewed or if something else happened, but our new contact didn’t seem to have a lot of the information we’d captured earlier in the process. She was also unresponsive to multiple requests for the same materials, which ended up creating a bit of a time crunch as the wedding approached. When we got the leadership team’s attention and got them on a call, the situation and communication improved, but it took a lot more time and effort than it needed to to get back on track. Day of, the team was awesome, as was the food, and I expect that most of the specific issues we encountered were related to the staff change rather than indicative of a larger problem at Simply Fresh; however, the experience did reveal that there are some gaps in their communications process, both in the contracting phase and between staff members. We’d still happily consider hiring them for a future event, but we’d ask different questions from the outset.

I cannot speak highly enough of Simply Fresh Events! We found them actually by accident when touring venues. After we chose our venue, we realized that Simply Fresh had also worked at this venue. They were extremely accommodating since my daughter had to change their tasting a few times due to her husband's demanding and changing work schedule. Geoff made it happen though! Then we had Jocelyn as our day of coordinator. She is the epitome of CALM and helped us so much. My daughter knew exactly what she wanted and Jocelyn made it come true. Even on the day of when I presented Jocelyn with a computer with a slideshow I had created, she knew what to do within minutes! Simply Fresh also helped with our florals. It was so convenient dealing with just Jocelyn for most of our needs. When asked about the day of, I just couldn't have been happier. No nerves at all! Everyone did their job to perfection. I had no worries and could enjoy the day with my family and friends and my beautiful daughter and her new husband. Did I mention the food was to die for??!! I just could not recommend Geoff and Jocelyn and their entire team more highly.

Simply Fresh Events was recommended to us by our venue as a preferred vendor. Since our venue did not have an on-site kitchen, choosing from the preferred vendor list was even more imperative. We went to about five catering tastings, and Simply Fresh Events blew everyone else out of the water! Not only was the food by Chef Katie delicious, Buffy, Katie and Nicole, our event planner, were so welcoming and informative, answering any and all questions we had. They made the decision incredibly easy! When we made the decision to postpone our October 2020 wedding, Nicole was supportive every step of the way and talked us through the decision, offering any input and advice she could. Nicole and the Simply Fresh Events team worked quickly with us to secure a new date and made a seemingly daunting decision much less stressful. Throughout our wedding planning experience, Nicole was there for anything we needed. Her knowledge, advice, and calm reassurance was indispensable to us. I think we said, "I don't know what we'd do without Nicole," over 100 times in the months leading to our October 2021 wedding! Every step of the way, from months out through the reception, Nicole went above and beyond to make our wedding perfect. We also ended up using Simply Fresh Events for our wedding cake and receptions florals, both of which turned out amazing! Chef Katie's food at our wedding was just as delicious as I remembered from our tasting (over a year and a half before our postponed wedding). We received many compliments on the cocktail hour menu and the plated dinner! Overall, from our experience, Simply Fresh Events knows the wedding, event and catering industry inside and out, and are experts in their field. Just as importantly, the people that make up Simply Fresh Events are kind, fun, passionate, want the best for their clients, and will do whatever they can to make that happen. I am so grateful to Simply Fresh Events and their team, and can't recommend them more!

Simply Fresh was wonderful! They provided both our plated wedding reception dinner and our buffet brunch next morning. Both were delicious, excellently staffed, and personalized to our tastes and preferences. Easy to work with, responsive, and a great value. Would highly recommend!

I can’t say enough things about Simply Fresh! We were a COVID couple so unfortunately we had to push our wedding back a year. Simply Fresh stuck with us and helped us have the exact wedding we were hoping for amidst the craziness! All wedding vendors are overwhelmed right probably twice or three times the amount of weddings this year they usually do but it always felt like Simply Fresh was there for every question and change I wanted to make. Our guests loved the food. Everything was so delicious. Jocelyn was our wedding coordinator and I cannot thank her enough. She is so knowledgeable and brings up great ideas that I would’ve never though about! Without her I would’ve been lost. Her and Simply Fresh made my wedding beautiful and exactly what I wanted with me just telling them simple things of how I viewed my wedding. It’s like they read my mind without even reading it! Any little inconvenience, Jocelyn was there with a solution. I would highly recommend using them for your wedding. They are a company who knows exactly what they are doing and they will give you and your guest the best day ever. I can’t say thank you enough to Jocelyn and Simply Fresh. I am so grateful for everything they did!

Simply Fresh Events and Catering was amazing to work with. With an October wedding, by fiancé and I wanted a seasonal menu that was tasteful and elegant. They developed just that! During our tasting, they were very receptive to our notes on each part of the meal. The chef herself came out to hear our thoughts and take notes. The food was already incredible and we had really minor request to make for the wedding day. Day of, the catering staff was very polite, professional, and courteous. Lexi was absolutely amazing making sure everything was where it needed to be and food was ready on time. She even brought cocktail hour hors d'oeuvres out to the wedding party while they were waiting for pictures. It was clear Simply Fresh had taken our notes seriously and made those changes for the day of. The food and service were both phenomenal. I would definitely recommend them to anyone planning a wedding around the DMV.

We absolutely loved working with Simply Fresh Events. We used them for catering, florist and our fabulous wedding coordinator - Hillary. Could not have asked for a better experience. Everyone on the team was communicative, professional, delightful, organized -- plus their food, decor and flowers were all perfect. I couldn't recommend them more and look forward to working with them again.

We recently used Simply Fresh for our wedding at Bluebird Manor and we couldn’t be happier! I can’t tell you how many times I have attended a wedding and the food was just blah. That was one thing I did not want for our wedding. From the very beginning, they were awesome to work with and very responsive! Buffy and Katie understood exactly what we wanted for our wedding and made our vision come to life. We went with a stations style menu, and it worked out perfectly! Jocelyn, the event manager who helped with our wedding, was great! The food was DELICIOUS!! We had so many guests compliment the food, especially the scallops and tenderloin, everything was seriously to die for! On top of the amazing food, their staff was so attentive and all of our guests were so well taken care of. The bartenders were rockstars and no one was left without a drink in their hand throughout the whole night. Thank you Simply Fresh for helping make our big day so special and delicious!

Simply Fresh catered our July wedding and we were extremely happy and impressed with the results. Our relationship with Simply Fresh started in 2019 when we contracted with them for a June 2020 wedding. We were wowed by the Simply Fresh team during our initial tasting- not just by how incredible the food tasted, but also how friendly and personable the staff were. They made us feel welcome and at home at their office/kitchen, which made the decision to choose them so much easier. Like many couples, we had to postpone our wedding due to COVID not once, but twice. Simply Fresh was extremely flexible with us through both postponements, and made it easy for us to addend the contract for new dates due to the pandemic. Knowing that they had our best interests in mind assured us that we made the right choice in choosing their services for our wedding. On our wedding day, the Simply Fresh team went above and beyond in making sure our day was as perfect as we hoped it would be. Christa and Hillary, the two coordinators on site on the day of, were extremely attentive to us and our guests. The food was incredible. The signature cocktails turned out wonderful. We can’t thank the entire Simply Fresh team enough for being so flexible with us throughout the entire wedding planning saga and for delivering our dream wedding. We would definitely recommend their services!

We are so glad we chose Simply Fresh as the catering for our wedding! The contract process was so easy and seamless, and the team at Simply Fresh took time to explain each line item to us (hugely reassuring!). Then, when it came time for our tasting - wow. This was one of the favorite planning moments of the entire wedding planning process! The team went out of their way to take care of us and show us such warm hospitality. At our wedding, my bridal suite was above the reception hall and I had a view into the hall as it was being made ready by the SFE team for the evening. It is one of my favorite memories of the day - seeing the group come together (while singing and dancing!) to turn line items into reality. The presentation and quality of the food at our wedding was both elegant and delicious. We got so many compliments on our food and how fresh it was (always a concern with mass production!). Our one critique is that we selected boutique wine glasses for our guest tables and table side wine service for our guests, but table side service was missing and thus the wine glasses went unused.

We can't thank the team at Simply Fresh Events enough for their creative suggestions (the poke bowls were a huge hit!) and seamless execution. Christa and the whole team were a joy to work with and were incredibly flexible throughout the pandemic as we adjusted our wedding plans. If you're seeking good food for a reasonable price, look no further!

I can't emphasize enough how happy we are that we went with Simply Fresh Events to cater and coordinate our wedding. We first met Geoff while touring Rocklands Farm Winery, and while we didn't ultimately chose that venue for our wedding, we really liked Geoff for how straight-forward and honest he was during the tour. We scheduled our tasting and got to meet the rest of the team. The food was excellent and creative (we've gotten consistent feedback from our guests regarding flavor and the innovative menu), and we were introduced to Nicole who was our main POC for the next 10 months as our coordinator. Nicole was knowledgeable, honest, easy to get in touch with, and professional. As you can imagine, with the COVID pandemic throwing a curveball into our planning, this could have been a nightmare experience, but Simply Fresh was flexible and prepared to help guide us through the process while keeping our guests safety top of mind. They were prepared to present to us their suggestions for how to decrease touch points while still providing excellent food and service. For the day of the wedding, the staff was incredible and functioned like a well oiled machine with Nicole at the helm. I'm not sure how she could be in so many places at once, but Nicole always available throughout the night, and it was so nice to know that the timeline was being taken care of by such a capable team. We were truly able to enjoy our night without having to make sure the other vendors remained on schedule as Nicole and team took care of everything according to the timeline we had agreed to. While so many little things can go wrong during a wedding, I can honestly say that the night essentially went off without a hitch thanks to the Nicole's management and coordination with the other vendors and the venue. We are 100% planning on using Simply Fresh again for any of our catering needs in the future, and couldn't be more pleased with our experience.

We really liked our experience with Simply Fresh. Of all the caterers we reached out to at the beginning of the process, they were the most responsive and the most willing to tailor their proposal to match what we wanted. They also offered us a wedding coordinator as a part of the catering package, which we opted for and would highly recommend. Our coordinator was so helpful and made many great suggestions for us throughout the planning process. The food was delicious and the menu came together really nicely. It felt like their big focus was making our wedding day as easy for us as possible, and that attention and dedication was evident. Highly recommend.

We worked with Simply Fresh Events for our wedding reception. From the very beginning of the planning process, the team was very communicative, straight-forward and helpful for my bride and I, answering our questions promptly via email and phone. When we went to their offices to do our tasting, and were grateful for the little touches that they used to make us feel welcome and appreciated. We worked with Jocelyn as our day-of coordinator, and were very impressed with her professionalism and how she was able to help tie down all of our logistics so easily, including arranging shuttles between the venue and our hotel. When one of our guests indicated some dietary restrictions, the team followed up with her directly to make sure that she got to enjoy a great meal as well. The catering staff were polite, courteous and professional, and all of our guests were raving about how great the food was! Simply Fresh played a major role in making our wedding a perfect day, and if you're looking for a great one-stop shop for food and event management, they're a great choice! If I ever plan another event as complex as a wedding, I'd definitely contact them again!

My experience with Simply Fresh Events and specifically, Nicole Ryan as our coordinator, was nothing short of spectacular. Since the moment we met Nicole, she hit the ground running making sure that every single detail of our wedding was perfect. She is extraordinarily organized, timely and has so much expertise to offer. My husband and I started our wedding planning process with so much anxiety but that changed as soon as Nicole began working with us. The day of the wedding was an absolute dream thanks to her planning, decorating and problem solving. Every single person who attended our wedding made sure to tell us that it was one of the best they had ever been to. As much as I would love to take the credit, Nicole and the team at Simply Fresh deserve ALL OF IT. The food was absolutely delicious and unlike most brides & grooms, we were actually able to eat as Nicole made sure to have our meals plated and served to us while the rest of the guests were in the buffet line. If you are looking for a caterer that will go above and beyond to make your wildest wedding dreams come true, Simply Fresh Events is the one for you.

I had minimal stress due to Simply Fresh being all inclusive. They helped me picked table settings , seating charts and customized my dinner menu. Excellent serve and company

Simply Fresh Events catered and help organize our wedding and everything was perfect! The food was amazing and our day-of coordinators went above and beyond. We were able to also rent linens, tables, a dance floor, and lighting from them, which made everything so easy. 10/10 would recommend!
