My husband’s two nieces (ages 3 and 5) were our flower girls and the younger one got a little fussy and she wanted to be included with all the “big girls” getting their makeup done and Alyssa didn’t hesitate to get her up in the chair to put a little powder on her cheeks to make her feel included. She’s such a sweetheart and everyone loved her. My ONLY reservation is about the business itself (hence the 4/5 stars). I want to be clear that this comment has absolutely nothing to do with Alyssa... because she’s incredible. But, the week of my wedding, my final payment was due and I called every day for four days trying to make my payment. I left a message every day and never heard back. I even sent an E-mail and a Facebook message. Johanna at the front desk can be a challenge to get in touch with and this gave me a little unnecessary stress the week of the wedding because I couldn’t get in contact with anyone. She finally answered two days before and everything was just fine but she never acknowledged or apologized for being so difficult to get in contact with or for not returning any of my calls. Besides that, everything went smoothly. Overall, I would absolutely go through Simply Gorgeous by Erin again and I would definitely recommended them to any other brides out there looking to feel like a princess on your big day!

The booking process was smooth and they were very responsive to every call and email I had. They were very transparent with the prices. The hair and makeup trial are a must have! I had Laura, Nicole and 2 assistant hair and make-up artists. These ladies are the best! Our start time was at 5am as my wedding ceremony starts at 10am. My wedding party includes 13 people who needs makeup and 10 people who needs hair done. They were on time and ready to go. We actually finished earlier than the scheduled end time but we never felt rushed. My wedding party and I were very satisfied and loved the way we looked. I highly recommend this team. You would never regret for sure! Special thanks to Laura and Nicole for making me pretty on my special day! I don't usually dress up that much and when I told them that I just want a natural but improved version of myself, that's what they did!

They assured me all the makeup they do is airbrush but come to find out later my bridesmaids told me the assistant makeup artist did not offer it to them. The makeup still turned out beautiful but it's a bummer when you think you're paying for all airbrush. On a more positive note, Rachel and Melissa were so awesome and made me feel so beautiful! I'd definitely recommend Simply Gorgeous by Erin, just make sure to clarify the day of you want airbrush for everyone :)

Melissa did an absolutely amazing job with my hair—it was so elegant and came out even more beautiful than I imagined. All of my bridesmaids and my mother loved their looks as well! Everyone’s hair & makeup lasted all night despite it being humid and 90+ degrees! I cannot thank Erin and her team enough! I will definitely be using Simply Gorgeous again, and would highly recommend them for ANY special event!

I mean it when I say every woman in that room felt more beautiful than ever. As a bride, I was speechless. They are the reason I felt as confident as I did walking down that aisle. t Simply Gorgeous that were done very well. This review should not reflect poorly on them, but the business. I booked with Simply Gorgeous in April 2018 for a wedding in June 2019. At the time of my booking, I spoke with Erin and informed her that I was booking with them because my normal hair stylist does wedding hair with them and I wanted her to do my wedding hair. At that time, I also discussed that I had not selected my bridesmaids and was not entirely certain who would want to get hair and makeup done. Erin recommended I book for 5 people, plus me, as that would reserve two staff for each service in the event we needed two. She did not mention that I could not change this number later on. In January 2019, the office assistant reached out to obtain my second round of payment. I updated her on the number of people receiving services and was very surprised to hear that I was not allowed to change the number. I asked to speak with Erin, as I had my initial discussion with her. I told her that I "felt lead astray" by the recommendation to book for 5 plus me on our earlier call and she yelled at me stating that she was "not going to get into an accusatory discourse" with me. I expressed disappointment in her not providing the full details with me, particularly considering I was forthcoming about not knowing how many people I was having. I also expressed concern over her claims that she wants to make brides feels special/empowered on their wedding day, but was now requiring I alter my wedding day vision (I ultimately decided on a small wedding party so it would be more relaxed). Ultimately, she allowed me to apply the excess funds to other services in the salon, but she did not apologize or express any remorse for my negative experience (she said "other people dont say these things about us"). In addition to this mishap, I learned immediately before my trial that my hair stylist was not booked to do my wedding hair. I reached out again and was told by Erin that my stylist was already booked for another wedding and had done the trial and that it would affect the other brides wedding day to change it (as if it doesnt affect my day). Erin said she didnt know how that happened because she recalled my requesting the specific stylist, but again, no apology. My final frustration with SGBE was the payment system. Invoices are sent electronically but cannot be paid electronically (even though it says they can be). I called in repeatedly to provide payment information and was never called back. They then charged the card they had on file (which was not the card I wanted to use) without telling me they did so (I got a receipt via email). The office manager claimed to have called and left messages which I never got (I did receive calls/texts/emails from my stylists). SGBE was the only wedding vendor I had ANY issues with and truthfully was the primary cause of wedding planning stress for me. They have many reviews on Yelp indicating similar experiences in the salon-I unfortunately did not see those before booking.

Melissa worked with me to slightly tweak my original trial updo to have little more volume with the end result better than I imagined. My friends and family who were both either at the wedding or saw pictures and/or video of my day all raved how "perfect" my hair and makeup both were. My mother and my bridesmaids also looked amazing and I was so happy to also see them glow in celebration with me too. I appreciate both Jessie and Melissa's kindness, organization, and genuine interest to make me feel my best.

My bridesmaids and I have gotten our makeup done numerous times for weddings and have never actually loved how we looked.... until Sunday. ALL of my bridesmaids, my mom and my mother-in-law could not stop raving about how much they loved their hair and makeup. Jessie and Melissa listened to exactly what each girl wanted and nailed their looks spot on. I changed my hair slightly from what we did at the trial and also wanted to add some greenery and a flower... Melissa was an actual magician making my hair look absolutely incredible! Jessie also knew how much I wanted to emphasize my eyelashes so she made sure to add a couple extra and really took the time to perfect my look- I really couldn't believe how flawless she made me look. They were on time, very quick and precise with each girl and just so much fun to hangout with that day. Not to mention, they also were such a huge help when my bridesman needed helping tying his bow tie and again when I had a slight dress mishap. I truly wish I had another occasion coming up that I could get my hair and makeup done again- I would recommend them in a heartbeat!!!

I was adamant that it be curly but relaxed and not “over done” and she knew exactly what I meant, and how to make it happen! Mattie styled my bridesmaids’ hair and they are still receiving compliments on the looks from the day. Both ladies are amazing!! I’m a firm believe that besides the wedding dress and your hair, there is one other element that can simply make or break your wedding day - your makeup. Jessie is a member of the Simply Gorgeous team whom I’ve had the pleasure to work with for my bridal shower and engagement photos, so it was super exciting that she was available to do my makeup for my wedding day. Gorgeous by Erin Infantino was wonderful, from the first email/phone call to the last finishing touches on my wedding day everything was amazing! The communication was always quick, informative and friendly, and when I inquired about adding on two more for makeup to my already large bridal party I received a response immediately saying absolutely no problem at all! I worked with Nicole as a hair stylist and Jesse as a make up artist. When I showed my bridal party the photo's from my trial they were all so impressed with the makeup even the girls that originally opted out of having makeup done changed their minds and all of them wanted it to be done! Jesse ,Nicole both worked with me and set up a perfect timeline to accommodate getting hair and makeup done for 14 ladies and they even finished early! Nicole and Jessie are so easy going and friendly it made getting ready together so laid back and enjoyable. They are both so flexible and talented, with 14 ladies there was a lot of ideas thrown out to them of what style they would like for their hair and make up and both Nicole & Jessie and the two assistants that came with them accommodated each and everyone of the ladies and their ideas, everyone was so happy with their look for the day! I really can not say enough great things about both Nicole & Jessie and also the assistants! All of the guests are still commenting on how wonderful everyone looked and asking who did our hair and make up (and I of course am so proud to say Simply Gorgeous by Erin Infantino and recommend them!)

We discussed what I did not like and what I was looking for. It was challenging for me to travel back and forth frequently because I was living and working in NM. Erin was reassuring and so we scheduled a trial a few weeks before the wedding! My makeup trial and wedding day was done by Jessie. I cannot thank her enough or stop admiring her work. So much fun to talk to while getting the make up done. Jessie has an impressive background in make up and has worked on both coasts. She also has pretty cool tips on the products she uses to get that glam glow. I know my bridemaids were hovering around her trying to learn a few tricks. My hair trial and wedding day hair was done by Sarah. Initially, I went with an updo which she whipped up beautifully. On the day of, I decided I just wanted a side swept look with waves. IT LOOKED AMAZING. I received so many compliments on my look and the hair pin that was clipped to the side, so glamorous. My ladies had pics of what they wanted and both Sarah and Jessie made it happen. Jessie also did my makeup the day before for my rehearsal dinner and it was beautiful. k I knew that I needed to book her team right away. I booked my makeup and hair for myself, mom, MIL, and bridesmaids almost 20 months in advance. The staff was amazing and always got back to me insanely quickly. My makeup artist was Alisa and she is THE BEST. She is hysterical and so down to earth. She did my makeup for both my engagement photos and my wedding and I trusted her with everything. She was able to get through 7 girls so quickly. Nicole did my hair and she was amazing as well. These two ladies made me feel absolutely beautiful the day of my wedding. I just got my photos back from my photographer and cannot get over how amazing my hair and makeup looked. At the end of the night, on a long, hot, humid, and busy day, my makeup and hair looked like they were just done. My bridesmaids loved their looks as well. My mom and MIL were a little nervous not having had their makeup done before and throughout the night I caught themselves looking in the mirror smiling. This is by far the best place to get your bridal makeup and hair done hands down.

I highly recommend airbrush makeup for your wedding day- it is so lightweight and comfortable and stays looking fresh all day/ night. My mom HATES wearing makeup and tends to have allergies to a lot of products and she was pleasantly surprised by how comfortable she was and she looked gorgeous and natural. One of my bridesmaids is getting married next fall and she is planning on booking these fabulous ladies as well!

After reaching out to the owner her response was to acknowledge that I was upset but take no ownership and provide no service recovery. In light of this we will not be hiring them for my sister's wedding. Since my complaint, the price for lashes has been added to the website so future brides may not run into any hidden fees. The hair and make up turned out great but the lack of communication or resolution and additional fees not listed in the contract was a real downer to the morning of my wedding.

She is very professional and provides detailed explaination of what to expect before your trial. I give my highest praises to this team and I would highly reccommend them to anyone wanting to feel beautiful and like a princess for their biggest day of their life!

f makeup, our stylists got us! Our biggest worry was that we would be made up in some over-the-top fake way rather than how we wanted. No problem--they were professional, good listeners, and excellent at their craft. We looked beautiful and felt comfortable. We did a practice prior to the wedding which I recommend. However, the makeup and hair they did for the bridesmaids without a practice was perfect as well. Alisa did our makeup and was fun, confident and comfortable. I was concerned the eyelashes would be too much but I trusted her recommendation and am glad I did. She made us look glamorous but not fake! Nicole did our hair and did exactly what we were wanting only better! They arrived at our venue early and were organized and prepared. We ended up running a bit over time and they rolled with it. We just couldn't have been happier with the whole experience! And of the photos we've seen, we haven't even needed to photoshop--pretty amazing :) With all the time, energy, money and love that went into our wedding, it would have been disappointing if we didn't look and feel our best-- Thank you!

I'll also mention that this business, in general, is very organized and keeps detailed notes about the logistics of your wedding party and payments etc on their online portal, which I appreciated. My trial, also, was great and collaborative - we went through a few different ideas and I got to know the ladies well in those few hours. Erin and Melissa are both super nice and fun, but equally professional and dedicated to giving you exactly what you ask for within the timeframe you need it (which is also really important on your wedding day!) I would lastly note that probably the only reason why other brides might hesitate to book with Simply Gorgeous is the price - they are certainly not the cheapest hair and makeup artists in the area. The hair and makeup for myself and my wedding party was supremely important, and I felt that their talent, professionalism, organization, the convenience of having them onsite, and their time-management focus made Erin and Melissa worth the cost. As an out-of-state bride, I didn't worry about them at all- I had total faith that they would come to my venue on time and knock it out of the park, which they did. I completely recommend them!

The hair and makeup did not move or fade whatsoever, and everyone was IN LOVE with their look. I could not recommend Erin and her team more. They are absolutely amazing - the only ones you want for your wedding day!!

During the trial, Erin was so helpful and informative, even giving suggestions on skincare to help me out with my stress acne a month before my wedding. I like that Erin took the time before booking to explain the type of airbrush that they use, since I had a horror story with another well-known make-up company in the area about make-up not lasting. She explained that since they use a silicone based product, versus a water-based product, that it lasts longer, WHICH IT DID. On my wedding day, Erin truly kept me calm and collective when I wanted to rip my hair out. I had a fairly large bridal party that she and her assistant flew through with ease. Everyone was over the moon about their make-up, and raved about her talent and expertise. My maid of honor even said she had gotten her make up done many times, but this was the only time she truly felt beautiful. Erin even changed up my look last minute on the fly per my request, and I LOVED it, even more than my trial. Her skills are truly something to be admired. I thought I had struck gold with an amazing make-up artist (which I did!) but what truly sealed the deal and I will remember for years to come was her willingness to truly go above and beyond for her client. One of my flower girls had broken the zipper on her dress and started crying, thinking she wouldn't be able to go down the aisle. Without even a moment's hesitation, Erin stepped in, gathered a needle and thread (that I still don't even know where she got from!) and sewed the zipper back together, making sure all was right with my wedding world, and taking extra time from her day to make sure mine went smoothly. Erin and her team were truly a Godsend to me on my wedding day, and I referred her right away to all of my engaged friends. I knew there was a reason I booked her a year out, and don't regret a single minute of it. Thank you Erin, and the Simply Gorgeous Team!

The team arrived to my parents house where I was getting ready, on time, set up their gear, and then got to work. Every single one of my bridesmaids looked AMAZING! I loved all their hair and makeup. But I mostly LOVED mine. I am forever grateful to Alisa for the flawless airbrushed makeup and to Nicole for my stunning updo, which I might mention stayed perfect ALL night.

e trial! Like many brides, I was feeling pretty stressed and anxious on my wedding day. There was so much to get done, so little time, and I'm not someone who is good at delegating. So when Erin arrived to our hotel room (promptly at the agreed upon time!), I immediately felt a shift in the dynamic of the room. Erin exudes calm. She's so professional and to the point, but is also very warm. My hairstylist (who is not affiliated with Erin) was 45 minutes late and that caused everything to be pushed back--so instead of going 3rd with Erin, I ended up having to go last. But Erin never once made me feel rushed--even though I know she had another bride and bridal party to go to after ours! She patiently tweaked a few things and when I was worried that the lipstick that I had purchased was too pink, she explained that it wouldn't read too pink in pictures and even took a picture to show me. I was sad to see her leave because I wanted that calming aura around still! But she did a phenomenal job--topping the trial! And I was so, so, so, happy with what she created. Girls spend their entire lives dreaming about their wedding day and what they're going to look like. I think investing in a great makeup artist is equally as important as investing in a great photographer. The wedding was such a blip on the radar, I cannot believe how quickly it went by and what a whirlwind it was. But I'm so very thankful to have pictures that will last a lifetime--and I'm beyond thrilled at how beautiful my makeup looked. Erin is extremely talented (and kind) and I recommend her absolutely and completely!

I did a hair trial as well separately, with Melissa - and it came out PERFECT, and ended up being what I chose for my wedding day style. for my wedding day I had Meghan for makeup, and Melissa for hair, and they absolutely KILLED IT. I had 2 moms, a flower girl, 3 bridesmaids, and myself all getting makeup and hair, and every single person looked absolutely stunning, both hair and makeup, and everyone was SO happy with the way it all came out. It was fun to have the girls there while we were all getting ready, they helped ease my nerves, as I was getting everything done they were talking to me, and it was just comfortable. My hair and makeup was truly perfect, and so was my entire bridal party's - I couldn't have asked for more. Erin is the owner, and is awesome as well - even though she was booked for my wedding day, she had helped hone in on the look I wanted after my trial, and made sure I was happy, and Julie who answers the emails there was amazing - always answering my questions, no matter how annoying I was being. so professional, nice, helpful, and just all around a great company with GREAT stylists. Hopefully I need to get glammed up again in the future so I have an excuse to work with these ladies again!!

A huge thank you to Julie as she held Q-tips in the corners of my eyes as I read the letter from my now husband so the tears wouldn't ruin my gorgeous make-up. Now that is customer service! These girls are not just makeup artists or hair stylists they are genuine, and caring women! When one of my vendors fell short with my hair piece, and I sat there crying because I thought my dream day was ruined.This team got together and assembled the most elegant arrangement with random floral and dental floss to twine into my hair. I still swoon over how amazing my hair looked that day! They stood by my side and did not leave us until we felt amazing, and made sure we looked our best! I had a large group, 8 Bridesmaids, and 2 mothers so it was a total of 11 woman. I do have to rebuttal to the review stating below that they do not recommend this company for larger groups. I think this team did an amazing job and exceeded our exceptions. The owner Erin is the sweetest, though she was booked for the day of my wedding. I did have the pleasure of having my hair and make up done by her for another photo-shoot I did . And was very pleased! I am a Simply Gorgeous Girl! & I would not recommend another company to a fellow bride! Amazing job ladies!! <333

I had changed my vision significantly for both hair and makeup since the trial, but the hair and makeup team seamlessly adjusted to my needs. For me, one of the best aspects of working with Simply Gorgeous by Erin was how calm, friendly, and diligent her crew is! They were working hard on my wedding morning to get all of the ladies ready in time, but they kept a relaxed and friendly attitude - which was invaluable!!

Making changes with this vendor consisted of signing and resigning contracts, multiple deposits, and a steep travel fee for adding a second hair dresser (even though I had 11 people). The second hair dresser that came was definitely not as skilled as Lyndsy and it was immediately apparent among the group of girls. We got our hair done in a hotel, so it wasn't until the end of the hair being done where the girls were able to view their hair-do. After the hair dressers left, everyone who had the second hair dresser had to make emergency adjustments and were very upset they paid as much money as they did. I have a feeling that if you are just getting make up done, or have a small bridal party, this particular process would be painless with this vendor. It was definitely not the case with my situation, and it ended up becoming extremely stressful, frustrating, unorganized and confusing regarding payments. I also rarely dealt with Erin, adding to the frustration. For the amount of money I ended up paying for this, I do not think it was worth it. Basing it off my situation, I would not recommend this vendor if you have a large bridal party.

egarding the appointment and claimed that she did not receive my confirmation email. While I understand mistakes happen, she never took the time to call me personally. I was offered an opportunity to drive another 3 hours back and forth the next day for another trial. As I had already wasted more than 3 hours driving back and forth and waiting for her, I asked that she come to me for the trial and was informed me that this was not possible. I cannot comment on her actual work however, taking 5 minutes out of her day and actually calling me to apologize would have gone a long way. Very disappointing!

s than 4 hours and we all looked AMAZING! The makeup lasted all day (from 8:30am to midnight) the only thing I reapplied was my lipstick! If you're trying to decide wether or not to spend the money JUST DO IT! I promise you, you will not be dissapointed, and makeup is not something to skimp on when it's the one day where EVERYONE is looking at you. My sister is getting married in a few months, and after seeing Erin's work that day and seeing how great the makeup lasted she booked her for her wedding too!!

Erin made me look and feel absolutely stunning on my wedding day, and spent extra time making sure my face looked flawless. My bridal party also looked incredible...my maid of honor was so impressed that she is using Erin for her own wedding! She also brings along extra lip color, etc. for purchase. Highly recommended!
