My hair and makeup stayed in place all night with very minimal touchups, even through some sweat as it gets hot in a wedding dress! My wedding was pushed due to COVID, and it was an easy and simple process to reschedule dates with Simply Makeup and Hair, with no additional costs or fees added. On the wedding day, Chelsea was so patient with me as I freaked out about an orange spray tan making me look like an oompa loompa and helped me correct it with her magic touch, and then walked me through each step she took on my hair to make sure it was truly what I was going for since we hadn't done a trial. The end result was absolutely amazing. I have truly never felt so beautiful in my entire life. It was exactly what I had hoped for and I am so thankful for Chelsea's expertise and patience!!

This was hands down the best makeup and hair I have ever had, I LOVED the hair and makeup, and did not even have a trial since I live out of state! Chassity was so sweet to go out of her way to get the requested clip in extensions.  She picked out the perfect color match just based on a photo I send her. My hair and makeup lasted the entire evening, looked beautiful in photos and I loved the lip color Chassity selected so much that I texted her after the big day to ask what product she had used. My Mom, sister, sister-in-law, little nieces/flower girls and I were SO pleased! Chassity and Maggie were outstanding! was very difficult. I had to provide a place for it and try to find a time that worked for the owner of the home I had it in, and the mu artist. Booking day of was also difficult because the owner wouldnt talk to me about scheduling until a week out. I wish Id just done my own makeup. I also just found out they plucked my moms eyebrows and now she has to draw them on every day. This is a year later. I would not recommend their service. The hair was okay, but also different from the trial. The makeup artist was 30 minutes late to start. She apparently was a witness to a car crash. Sorry but I do not think that's a good enough reason.

in June and Haley was able to work it out to where she could also be at my own October wedding. Stephanie is so fun and down to earth, and absolutely incredible at what she does. Chassity was our second artist and was also wonderful! She was very fast at formal hairstyles (that held throughout the night)... and both Stephanie and Chassity were extremely flexible when it came to squeezing in another hair or lash application on the day of / changing my hair style after the trial / asking Stephanie to use some of my own makeup product. The makeup looked beautiful in person and in pictures and lasted all night for all of the girls. So impressed with this team!

e, she dealt with me having TWO trials because I am someone who can be very picky about beauty. The second girl they sent over (cant remember her name) was equally wonderful. Those girls worked their butts off, we had 12 applications for a very large wedding party. Cons: dealing with the bureaucracy of a beauty company. They require a strict 6 application per artist. At one point I had 16 to be completed in a 4 hour period of time, and they would not send a third girl unless I paid for the other 2 applications, despite the fact only 2 artists would not fit our timeline. The owner and I went back and forth on this issue through several emails, and while she was very professional despite my obvious unhappiness, she was not empathetic and would not budge. During our 3-4 month correspondence I told them SEVERAL if not LOTS of times that I needed to be done by 2:00 PM. I was told over and over again by both owner and artists, that they always finish on time or early. Luckily, that number dwindled to 12, working out for exactly two girls. I was provided a timeline the week of as promised, that I did not like, so I tweaked it (which allowed us all to finish on time) and they accepted it, only to come back 2 days before the event to tell me it had to be changed. My version had one girl doing 5 applications, the other doing 7. It had to rearranged so both girls did 6 applications, so their resolution to accommodate for that extra time was to take away 15 minutes of time from my hair and makeup-THE BRIDE, and then had the nerve to ask me if that was ok. SERIOUSLY? But now I was pinned in a corner and no other options, so I just trusted that all that talk about finishing on time was honest. Well what happened the day of, was exactly what I tried telling them would happen for 3 months. They were rushed, which rushed my hair and makeup, AND they finished 30 minutes LATE. This took away from 30 minutes of photographs I could've had (because we took them prior to the ceremony). We were rushed taking pictures which was a stress and a heartbreaking loss I didn't need. So do they do a decent job? Yes. But if they try to tell you they always finish on time... ITS A LIE. I gave 3 stars (in the middle) because they are lovely to work with, and my bridesmaids looked great. But, my hair was falling out by the end of the night (which in fairness, could've been the dancing), and I felt my makeup could've been a bit better (eyebrows uneven, eyelashes off-center)-little details that I KNOW someone as talented as Chelsea could've done better had we not been so worried about time. However, the loss of all the photos I could've had, had they just LISTENED to me, and been more flexible, is what makes me more sad than anything else.

A lot of my bridesmaids and family didn't have an exact plan for their hair and make up and these ladies were able to take their words/pictures and turn it into perfection. Everyone's hair and makeup stayed in place all night and Haley gave us little extras in case we needed to touch up at all during the day. I would have her again in a heartbeat!!

On the wedding day, we had two makeup artists. They were on time and very nice, but both had completely different makeup styles. They did my makeup, 10 bridesmaids, and my mother and mother in law's makeup. One artist had the girls with a lot of makeup and a ton of red blush while the other had girls and especially the moms looking white and pale. About half of the girls had to go wipe off their makeup and redo it themselves because they were not happy with the way they looked. I loved my makeup and I was very specific with what I wanted to look like. Overall, I think they did a good job on some girls but if there are two artists they should have more of a similar makeup application.

eason for the 4 stars is that the day of the wedding, Christina couldn't find any of her notes about my makeup trial. I was bummed because I wanted it exactly like we had done it. Not a big deal because she remembered most of it and the makeup looked fantastic. The other reason is payment was a bit of a mess but just make sure to bring cash only and you'll be fine! Overall very well done, well organized, and responsive throughout the whole process.

nd Hair. Not only were the prices much more reasonable, but the reviews were great. I decided to give them a shot. Chassity came all the way to my parents' house to do my makeup and hair trial. She came total prepared and listened to exactly what I wanted. My makeup was natural but just an enhanced version of how I normally look. Lashes and airbrush foundation on fleek! Chassity was very professional, friendly, and experienced. The communication via email and creating the schedule with Haley and the team was seamless as well. Very organized. Come wedding day, Chassity and Olivia showed up both exactly on time to my hotel bridal suite. They cranked out 6 Makeup and 6 hair applications within just a few hours and came fully equipped. They followed exactly all the bridesmaids' picture requests and made even the girls who didn't wear much makeup feel comfortable. Flawless work! The makeup photographs very well too.
