They gave great advice, clear direction, and were so easy to work with from start to finish. I received so many compliments on my wedding hair — Chelsea is an artist and a true master of her craft. unication ahead of time was uneven. I was originally told I needed to come to the salon in Middletown during the workweek for my trial, which would have been very difficult for me given that I live and work near downtown Cincinnati. Then, I got a text from Maggie saying that she could do my trial wherever I wanted, even during the evening, which was fantastic, but left me confused. Maggie was also adamant that I schedule any changes with Haley, and I didn't know who Haley was because the administrator I was getting emails from did not sign her name anywhere. The day of the wedding, I was given a sample of lipstick to reapply throughout the night. It was enough for one reapplication between photos, and I had to borrow a similar color from my maid of honor to use for the rest of the night. This was very disappointing. I tried to avoid this problem by purchasing the lipstick ahead of time, even though I was told this was not necessary as I would be given a sample. I wore it the night of my rehearsal dinner and felt that the color wasn't dark enough in pictures, so on the wedding day we switched to another color. Finally, Maggie left while I was putting on my dress and did not do a final check-in/goodbye as Chelsea has done with my friends. I had planned to ask for one more look at my right eyelashes, which I thought were off (it turned out to be something stuck in my contact, which we discovered much later) and help with my veil. In summary, Maggie did a great job with my hair and makeup and everyone looked amazing, but the stress of scheduling and poor communication were a disappointment.

h Ariel. During the trial, we clicked right away. She is such a sweet and talented person. On the wedding day, she did all 4 of my bridesmaid's, my mom's, and my hair within the 4 hour timeframe that it needed to be done. Each one of our hairdos reflected how much effort she put into each one of us. All of my girls looked absolutely stunning. She made me feel like the most beautiful bride! I would highly recommend, and would even specifically ask for Ariel if you can!

It was a winter wedding, so I wasn't really fighting any summer hea, but I was shocked at how nice everything stayed for the day! She was able to keep seven of us on track and kept our morning very stress-free. Each of us left with our hair done beautifully and just how we wanted it. Carina did my hair and make up and also my trial, which she nailed the look on the first try. They were also reasonably priced compared to other vendors!

My bridesmaids ranged from having no idea what they wanted to having a very specific picture of what they wanted and each of them were thrilled with the end result. cal at first as there was no formal contract and all example photos were professional, but Haley assured me of their ability to provide services for the day, so we took the leap of faith! My nerves were incredibly calmed when I had my trial with Chelsea about 3 weeks before the wedding. The airbrush makeup, lashes, and updos were long lasting throughout the entire day/night and the ½ up ½ down and all down hairstyles lasted as long as they could given how hard everyone was partying. We had a timeline of 8-11am and although things did get tight with timing and completing looks by 11am, everyone was taken care of as quickly as possible. If we had to do the day all over again I would definitely still go with Simply Hair and Makeup!

Leading up to the wedding they were incredibly organized and on the wedding day showed up early and kept us on schedule. They made the whole day very easy and enjoyable. All the ladies in my bridal party as well as the flower girls and Mother of the bride/groom loved the way they looked. Our makeup and hair lasted all night and I couldn't recommend them enough!
