We cannot say enough good things about Nicole! She stepped in as our day-of-coordinator and executed our vision perfectly. She was beyond organized, set everything up perfectly, communicated effectively and was so fun to work with. She ensured our day was everything we could have imagined! We had the pleasure of working with Nicole as our day-of-coordinator. I am amazed at everything she was able to do in the amount of time that she had. She took the design of the bride and groom and made everything look fabulous. She made sure every detail was perfect and dealt with little glitches as to not be noticed by the bride, groom and guests! With the timeline, the day went incredibly smooth. She stayed on top of all the vendors as they arrived, worked extremely well with everyone, made sure everything looked spectacular, and even continued to check in with the bride and groom to make sure they were eating! We can’t thank her enough for everything she did for us! I would highly recommend her to anyone planning their wedding! Nicole, with her super organizing talents, made the day one that everyone could enjoy!

Michelle Scarzone is absolutely incredible at what she does. I could never imagine going through the process of planning our wedding without her expertise, vendor recommendations, event planning skills, and coordination of communicating all the essential information with everybody! I firmly believe that everything went as smoothly as it did on our wedding day largely in thanks to Michelle. She is truly a gem and ensured that we had a stress free, beautiful wedding day and amazing reception in which we didn't have to worry about a single thing. I would recommend her in a heart beat and can't say enough good things about her. You need Michelle on your team when it comes to weddings!

My fiancé and I didn't have the slightest clue about planning a wedding. We were highly delusional when it came to fully understanding the amount of energy and effort the big day actually required. We initially tried to get everything figured out by ourselves.... but due to busy work schedules, work travel, and lack of wedding planning motivation, we were losing our minds and not making much progress. Eventually any discussion of the wedding "to do" list became a point of contention, with the tasks themselves turning into dreaded chores! Luckily we were referred to Michelle. Once we met with her and learned how she could help us, hiring her was a no-brainer! Throughout this wedding process, I learned that I was NOT cut out for wedding planning, nor really enjoyed it! I was not one of those brides who had the whole event planned out in my mind since birth. I was pretty much the exact opposite - and needed people to just tell me what to do so I could check it off the list! Michelle not only helped with the planning but she gave us direction and guidance on all wedding related things that we didn't even know existed, didn't really want to know existed, nor had the slightest clue about!! She kept us on task and we knocked that "to do" list out in no time! In addition she helped with the hotel guest bags, bridal party make-up and hair coordination, party favors, weekend agenda for travelers, guest listing and table assignments, corralling all of our crazy out of town families and guests, and most importantly she managed all of our vendors in the weeks leading up to, and especially on the day of our wedding! I was pretty much comatosed with nerves, excitement, butterflies, and the inability to put one foot in front of the other, on our big day! Had we not hired Michelle to run the show & take control of everything (me included), the day would have been an utter disaster ! Michelle was my saving grace! That day she stayed on top of each vendor's commitment and arrival time, she had created various detailed timelines, she pointed me and groom in the direction of where we needed to be and when, she made sure we had food and drinks in our suites, were dressed in time, coordinated our transportation to the venue, kept the bridal party and family photo sessions on task, and the list just goes on and on. And... if that's not enough, at the end of the night, instead of me and my hubby worrying about last minute payments to vendors or collecting our personal belongings from the venue, she took care of all that too! In retrospect, my husband and I (and my mother) agree that Michelle was hands down, the BEST investment we made for our wedding.... and our future :) Michelle literally saved our lives! I know that sounds melodramatic, but she saved me from having a mental breakdown (a couple of different times), and saved my mother from being designated as the one to try to juggle everything due to my wedding incompetence (which in essence saved my mother from having her own nervous breakdown). In addition she preserved my fiancé's desire to actually want to marry me (since I finally ceased "wedding-nagging" once we hired her)! If you think you don't need a wedding planner/day of coordinator, think again! Michelle might be that missing piece that is needed to actually allow you and your significant other to make it to the alter in one piece, while actually still liking each other!

I highly recommend Simply Refined Events for any wedding planning needs. I was so fortunate to have Michelle for my entire wedding process. From the initial meeting to the last last guest leaving every intricate detail was attended to. Michelle's resources are limitless, which provides any bride with the perfectly matched vendor. Michelle is extremely organized, detailed, and easy to work with. The wedding day was seamless, the entire day was flawless. Thanks to Michelle, my husband and I had the most perfect wedding. We didn't worry about anything, just enjoyed our day with family and friends.

When my husband and I first started planning for our wedding the most important this we wanted was for all our guests to enjoy themselves. We didn’t want friends and family running around helping to set things up. We wanted people to enjoy our wedding as much as we planned to! That is when we decided a day of coordinator was the way to go. From our first meeting with Michelle we knew we were in good hands, we went over all the general information and soon realized there was a lot more to planning a wedding then we originally thought. Since I’m not originally from the Phoenix area I had no idea where to start when looking for vendors. Thankfully Michelle was able to provide me with names of vendors that she had previously worked with and knew would be able to fulfill our needs as well as our budget. Michelle was always available for phone calls and meetings, she was always on top of everything and one step ahead of what needed to be done. She really went above and beyond even helping with centerpieces (that looked beautiful) to make sure we stayed with our budget. Everything was super organized the day of, and if there were any hiccups we were unaware. Everything was great, we really had a beautiful wedding and thanks to Simply Refined Events we were able to enjoy it worry free!

The best decision my husband and I made was to hire Michelle to be our wedding coordinator! Michelle, in conjunction with Your Heart's Desire, coordinated our wedding in November. I had already hired the big vendors like catering and photographer, but there were so many things about putting a wedding together that I didn't know. I would have been lost without Michelle. My husband and I had chosen to have our wedding at a house and did not realize the logistics of bringing all the services in to a private residence. Michelle was on top of everything!! She worked with us doing site visits with vendors, identified things that we had missed and helped us finish them, and generally gave us the piece of mind that on the day of the wedding, everything would go smoothly. She helped us build the vision of our wedding to perfection! The week of the wedding, the forecast called for rain, potentially making our outside wedding a disaster. I called Michelle and found that she had already been in touch with the rentals company we were using to discuss the possibility of putting up tents to keep the ceremony and reception dry and comfortable. She was always thinking ahead and making a back up plan. During all the planning every bride has stress. On the day of the wedding, all my stress dissolved knowing that Michelle was there to handle everything. All the planning that she and I did payed off because the wedding went perfectly!! At least that's how it seemed to us and all of our guests because if anything did go wrong Michelle handled expertly without us ever knowing!! I never had to worry about anything or make any more decisions! I just enjoyed myself spending time with my new husband, family and friends. Anybody that hires Michelle is guaranteed an amazing wedding. She is not only detail oriented and organized but she is a pleasure to work with. Her personality inspires confidence and she makes the planning fun. She is very real, down to earth and easy to get along with.
