David Casey and his team were efficient and effective. They all really know their stuff! The bartender was able to handle making custom mock tails and offer a wide variety of drinks to accommodate all of our guests tastes! The servers were friendly, polite, and quick. They made sure our leftovers were wrapped up and got to us. And btw the food was amazing! Our friends who work in the food industry were throughly impressed and approved :) the only shame of it was in all the business I did not get to experience the cheese fondue fountain but it looked fantastic and the guests enjoyed it. David even let us taste test the food beforehand, he really went above and beyond to put worries at ease and make sure everything really went… simply smooth.

Where to begin with Simply Smooth and Chef David? From our first call, Chef David was so kind and eager to make our wedding as special as possible (and it was!). Throughout the entire process he was truly a pleasure to work with – he provided very helpful suggestions and was unflappable with all of our requests. The food was absolutely incredible — so creative, fresh and flavorful (and incredibly accommodating of all dietary restrictions). The Simply Smooth servers were extremely friendly and professional. Chef David made our wedding a night to remember — we can’t recommend him highly enough. Thank you, Chef David!

We cannot recommend Simply Smooth enough for any event! David and his staff exceeded our expectations, and we are so grateful for the work they put in for our wedding. In the months leading up to our wedding, we felt that Simply Smooth demonstrated flexibility to work with our vision and dietary restrictions; professionalism in their communications and execution of the event; exceptional food that had guests asking for recipes all night long; and kind staff who took care of our guests. I cannot stress how amazing the food was at our wedding! Every guest had nothing but glowing reviews! They also helped us to secure linens, dishware, silverware, cake/dessert stands, and a cake cutter, which we appreciated. They made the process so smooth and easy, it really helped make the day that much more enjoyable. We highly recommend David and the Simply Smooth team!

Simply Smooth was the perfect caterer! Everything was so smooth from the first contact to the wedding. I never had any doubt that the food would be amazing and the service would be too. David was great at answering every question I had and accommodating any food allergies/preferences that our guests had. We cannot say enough good things about our experience with Simply Smooth as our caterer for our wedding! Not only was the food absolutely delicious, the service was top notch and David Casey is phenomenal to work with. The minute you meet him you are aware that he is an expert in his field and knows what he is doing, which allowed us to enjoy our reception and have a stress-free experience, knowing he was taking care of us along the way! The food was the best we had ever had at a wedding, and we received non-stop compliments from our guests about the quality and variety of our choices for those with diet restrictions! Everyone that went to our wedding still raves about the food. Chef David is extremely talented at his craft - the food was absolutely five star and they were plated so gorgeously that I felt bad digging into it. There are no limits to what David can create. He gave us a few menus with a million choices for cocktail hour appetizers, salads, main courses, and desserts and let us completely customize it to our liking. It was such a fun process and he was always so agreeable. As an aside, David is an absolutely invaluable resource when it comes to connecting with other vendors. We created our wedding on personal property, and David took it upon himself to visit the property (about an hour away) every time we changed the layout so he could give us ideas. He hooked us up with rental companies for our tent, chairs, outdoor bathroom trailers, etc. and was an overall vital part of making our wedding a success. He went above and beyond for us and we cannot recommend him enough!

Simply Smooth was incredible! We booked them for our re-do covid wedding when we switched the location to our hometown. They came to my parents house and provided nearly everything (besides alcohol for BYOB). Chef David let us choose whatever food we could have possibly wanted with no restrictions. He was extremely communicative with us as we picked out the menu and what to expect with them working at my parents home (they worked outside in the garage). The staff was extremely helpful, nice, and respectful of all covid precautions as well. P.S. you're not truly living if you don't order the candied bacon, it's to die for.

My husband and I planned our wedding this summer during Covid, which was quite a journey. With PA rules changing constantly and many concerns about guest safety, Simply Smooth was extremely flexible and worked closely with us to take care of all the logistics of our wedding and rehearsal dinner. Simply Smooth was recommended by our venue (Rodale Institute) and David was great to work with and made us feel less stressed during an otherwise very stressful time. Everything went smoothly and the food was truly in another league compared to other wedding meals I’ve had (we especially loved the candied bacon, paella and mac & cheese). The Simply Smooth staff was very professional, and our guests loved the bartenders! Highly highly recommend Simply Smooth for any event.

I am so glad we chose Simply Smooth to cater our wedding. Chef David was AWESOME. He took all my ideas for the food for our wedding and made them even better than I could imagine. I really wanted BBQ and David was able to do it in a classed up way that was still delicious. All the guests have been raving about the food for weeks after the wedding!

Chef David made our dream wedding buffet come true. It was better than we could have imagined. The food was the most important part of the wedding for us and they totally nailed it. They were so easy to work with, quick to respond and everyone is still saying our wedding had the best food of any wedding they have ever been to!

I cannot say enough good things about Simply Smooth! David and his team are so professional and so talented! I contacted him to cater our wedding a little over two weeks from our event and he made it happen. Our consultation was so pleasantly easy even though we didn't have the clearest idea of what we wanted. David was able to take our vague ideas and make them into a wonderful menu that suited all of our 30 guests. On top of all that, David saved us all of 4 days before our event when the baker who had originally agreed to make our wedding cake basically went AWOL and stopped communicating with us. The baker he coordinates with was able to make our 3 tier wedding cake from scratch and not frozen even on that short of notice! And most importantly Simply Smooth's food was marvelous!!! They make everything fresh from quality ingredients and on site to boot and the food reflects that. Highly, highly, highly recommend Simply Smooth on that aspect of their business alone! All of our guests loved their meals and enjoyed the wonderful service provided from the lovely support staff as well. You absolutely get what you pay for from Simply Smooth. One last note- even on the day of our event, David and his team saved the day. Our signature drink containers we had ordered online were defective and therefore not usable and somehow even though that was realized VERY shortly before our event start they were able to materialize gorgeous drink dispensers. We are so grateful for everything they did to make our wedding so wonderful.

A lot to say about Simply Smooth, but, in the words of one of my guests "I don't drink, and I don't really dance, so a wedding for me is all about the food. And I will tell you that I have never gone out of my way to tell the bride how much I enjoyed dinner. Everything has been so spot on. I am so impressed." Thanks to Laurin's team for providing our guests with delicious food and incredible service. I may have been a bride who wanted a lotttt of communication, but in the end, everything turned out better than I could have expected. Top notch.

This business saved my wedding! My florist dropped the ball and two days before the wedding, the candelabras she promised suddenly weren't gonna be at my wedding. I didn't know what to do, who to turn to, but I managed to find Simply Smooth online and I gave Lauren a call. He was a pleasure to deal with! He got me the candelabras I needed for a great price and was so flexible. He really wanted to help us out, and I appreciate him so much. I would love another opportunity to work with Lauren and his company again!

Laurin and his team did a fantastic job. Everything that he discussed with us...it looked exactly like that. The desserts were great. Everyone commented on how beautiful the room looked. He did the decor, the table linens, the chairs, and the desserts and our cake. He also arranged for our limos. My only small issue was sometimes he was a bit slow to respond to me, but he always returned my emails. Otherwise, we were very happy, and we'd recommend his services again!

Simply Smooth is simply THE BEST. The attention to detail and the time Laurin gives you as you plan your day cannot be any better.Every detail covered, every question answered. We used Simply Smooth for the entire event except the band. The guests raved about the hors'd oeuvres and the food. The flowers were perfect and delivered on time to the correct places. Simply Smooth has exceeded our expectations! Every part of our wedding turned out fabulous and stunning because of the amazing owner and his staff. Our guests are still telling me how incredible the food was (2 weeks later!) and the staff was so friendly and helpful. The entire planning process was stress free because of Laurin Fegley, the company’s owner. He is amazing, knows what he is doing, has wonderful ideas, and helped us plan the perfect wedding.
