I truly cannot say enough good things about Danielle. She was an absolute DREAM to work with and is beyond talented at planning and coordination. She was extremely responsive and helpful and I never felt nervous to reach out to her with even the smallest questions. She is super organized and friendly and all of my bridal party commented on how amazing she was. I truly could not have done it without her - she felt like an extension of me on my wedding day. The day ran so smoothly - I also had other vendors comment on how they have never had a wedding go so to schedule and that can 100% be attributed to Danielle. Thank you does not even begin to cut it - if you are planning a wedding in the Bluffton area, you have to hire Danielle. I would recommend her to everyone I know.

Danielle is nothing short of AMAZING!! I apologize in advance for this lengthy review however it all must be said and heard. Her passion for planning memorable life time moments, professionalism, creativity, attention to detail, and overall partnership with myself (Mother of the Bride) and especially the Bride is nothing shy of remarkable! We hired Danielle as a day of coordinator and she was there to guide us throughout the planning process and answer any questions we might have. As Mother of the bride, you spend your entire life dreaming of giving your daughter that one special day she and her fiancé will always remember. You might as well know now, I am not one to easily give up control of anything, however as soon as I met Danielle there was no doubt in my mind that she was the perfect fit and would do everything in her power to ensure our daughter’s wedding day would be perfect and allow me to focus on what was most important, living in the moment and being Mother of the Bride. Although the wedding day did not go according to plan, no one expected the bride to test positive for COVID two days prior to the wedding, Danielle immediately went into action notifying all vendors and working with them to identify a backup date that worked for everyone. Thankfully even with all of the unexpected challenges thrown our way and 100 guests in town, our daughter and her fiancé did have the most beautiful impromptu wedding ceremony on their original date of March 20, 2021 in Charleston, SC, even if it wasn’t as planned. Danielle went above and beyond to be a shoulder to lean on and the voice of reason to help us through those difficult days. When it came time for Part two three months later, the reception at Old Wide Awake Plantation, she ensured it was executed flawlessly just as originally planned. She was bound and determined to deliver that very special day the Bride and Mother of the Bride had always envisioned! A word of advice for anyone considering on hiring Simply Southern Events, stop thinking about it and JUST DO IT!!! You won’t regret it and will quickly discover as we did, Danielle will be the best investment you will make on your wedding day! Danielle, thank you for seeing it through and giving this mother one of the best days of my life that I will never forget and always cherish with my daughter! Our entire family is so lucky to now call you our friend!

I should preface my review by stating that I am NOT always an easy person to deal with- I am very much a planner and control queen in my daily life, and trusting someone else to be this person for my big day was a huge leap of faith. We knew Danielle from other weddings we had attended or been a part of but I wasn't sure if she could meet *my* organizational and planning expectations, as I was not a laid back bride with a "hands off" approach. I asked a million questions- sometimes the same question multiple times. Danielle answered me with honesty, grace, and professionalism every time. She listened and incorporated my ideas, vision, and style into my day, but was not afraid to let her experience and professional opinion supersede my own when it was for the better. My original wedding was postponed the week of the event. I would not have accepted this news well from anyone other than Danielle. She knew what I would need to hear, what information and options I would want, and had this all organized and ready to go before ever breaking the news to me. We were able to re-plan my entire event within 48 hours. Danielle is well respected in the industry and other vendors know and appreciate her planning style. She is able to command a room and large groups with confidence and everyone knows who is running the show! My wedding party and parents were appreciative of her no-nonsense directives during rehearsal and day of instructions to make everything quick and simple; while at the same time making sure every moment was fun and enjoyable. I did not feel we had a wedding planner that "just loves weddings"- we had a friend that truly cared about our experience with her from day one. She made sure we were having a great evening every moment of our event and I would go through all the stress and get married 100 more times (....to the same dude) if she could plan and coordinate every one. She was made for this!

I literally cannot even with Danielle. Immediately she is so deep in your love story and truly honestly would do anything to make your day perfect. I will always remember discussing the pros/cons of "First Look" photos and all of us ending up in tears thinking about just how memorable that moment is. She is THE ABSOLUTE BEST. She helped out with our rehearsal and using her advice our day went flawlessly. I seriously can't recommend her enough!!!!!

Danielle is AWESOME! From the moment my husband and I met her we knew we were going to be in good hands. She is great at her job and the love for her work shows! We hired her for day of services, and I felt so at ease on wedding day knowing she was in charge. And she was great through the whole planning process as well, especially since we were from out of town. She always got back to us promptly. Any questions we had, she was there with an answer, and always telling us not to worry about a thing. She is professional, fun, enthusiastic, attentive, organized…..I could go on. She made me feel like she was one of my closest friends there for me on my special day. I couldn't have asked for better service! I wish everyone could be so pleasant to work with! I will miss her. I honestly cannot say enough good things about Dani - she is absolutely the BEST event coordinator and the best decision we could’ve made for our wedding. 5 stars is definitely an understatement. She was very professional and quick with responding to whatever questions I might’ve had leading up to the wedding and also extremely organized with every little detail. She also was able to help bring all of my ideas to life, ultimately making our wedding the perfect day! Dani has a lot of experience and knows what timelines work best and the best vendors in the area, so we completely trusted her judgement and suggestions. On the day of she made everything run so smoothly, including keeping the groomsmen in line and keeping my nerves down - especially since we had an unannounced tropical storm come through and had to change all of our plans at the last minute. Not only is Dani the best in the business, she is also the sweetest, funniest, most wonderful human with the biggest personality, and I told her if I lived in the area I would make her be my best friend. :) Our wedding guests even can’t stop talking about her and how on top of everything she was! You will definitely be missing out if you pass up the opportunity to have Dani make your wedding day the best that it can be!

Danielle was the best vendor decision I made in the entire wedding planning process. She was excellent to work with from start to finish. She is such an expert at all things wedding and knew all the answers to my millions of questions. She made the day of so seamless and I truly don’t know what I would have done without her. Our entire wedding party also commented on how awesome Dani is. If you want peace of mind and to know that everything will go smoothly on your wedding day then HIRE DANIELLE! She went above and beyond and exceeded my expectations. We received so many compliments on how beautiful everything was and a large part of that was Dani’s amazing job setting everything up. Not to mention she is a sweetheart and so fun to work with!

Danielle is fantastic and I'm so thankful for having her to help make our wedding day absolute perfection! From our first meeting at the venue to our big day, Danielle made the destination wedding process seem effortless due to her experience, attention to detail, and love for her clients. She answered each email with detail and options so that I could make decisions with ease. I hired vendors Danielle had recommended and they all worked together to pull off a perfect Lowcountry wedding that exceeded all of my expectations! Danielle was all over day-of execution so we were able to fully cherish our day. Our wedding day was executed perfectly and it couldn't have been any more beautiful -- all thanks to Danielle!

This will be one of the BEST decisions you will make in the wedding process. Danielle - SSE is truly one of a kind, she's got a genuine soul that everyone needs in their life. She has a way of making you feel like you've know her for years. Through the process it was almost as if she could read our minds, answering questions before we even thought to ask them. She's super reliable, knowledgeable, timely, patient, and organized! Making decisions was easy because I could really trust her opinion!! She left a lasting impact on us and even our guest.. at the end of the night everyone complimented how sweet & caring she was, how smooth things ran, and how well she lead the day!! She made our vision come to life! You can really tell she is passionate about her work, she delivers beyond expectations. We really got to enjoy our day and were at ease with her in control. I could go on forever.... your search stops here, Dani- SSE is IT!!

SSE is the best event coordinator you can get! Dani is professional, organized to the max, attentive, responsive and very knowledgeable. Did I say she’s also excellent at calming nervous moms when there’s a hurricane headed straight towards you? With all the craziness with not only the wedding but Hurricane Dorian, Dani remained calm and assured us that she’d take care of everything. And she did! Every detail was perfect! She’s unflappable which is exactly what we needed! Many many thanks to Dani and SSE for making my daughter’s wedding the best day ever!

Having Danielle as our day of coordinator was hands down one of the best decisions we made for planning our wedding. We were planning from out of town, but she made the process so easy. She answered so many questions along the way, and we were so pleased with all of her recommendations. She handled all of the details on the day of, and we had an absolute blast!

If there’s one piece of wedding planning advice I could give, it would be to hire Danielle with Simply Southern Events as your planner! My fiancé and I had a vision for our wedding that came to life because of Danielle’s talent, organization, professionalism, and dedication. She tirelessly helped us make decisions, find vendors, develop our wedding map and timeline, and generally (and impressively!) manage everything and everyone up to and on our wedding day. To boot, Danielle is incredibly sweet and fun, which made the entire process so enjoyable. In all, her support and planning granted us confidence and calmness, and we owe our perfect wedding day to Danielle!

Danielle is AMAZING and stayed on top of everything and every detail! Our wedding day went from sunshine to rain back to sunshine and more rain and Danielle helped us continually change our plan and make sure everything happened the way we wanted to regardless of the weather! We literally would not have been able to do it without her! She is a life saver and truly an expert in her field!

Danielle was fabulous! We were from out of town and a destination wedding added several unanticipated issues that Danielle helped smooth out. She helped wrangle my large group of unrulely brides maids with military like efficiency so the whole ceremony and reception went off with out a hitch. And most importantly she kept myself calm, reassured and not overwhelmed, which I tell you is no easy task for someone with my level of ADD and anxiety! It was a beautiful wedding and Danielle deserves a lot of the credit for it.

SSE truly made our day and everything leading up to it easy. Dani was so easy to talk to and very relaxed, which put us at ease over months of planning. She made great recommendations for vendors, layout, flow, everything! We took every single one of her recommendations without question because we trusted her and we felt like she just "got us." She gave us the gift of going with the flow on our wedding day because we trusted her 100%. When it came down to the day of, she ran a tight ship and everything was executed to perfection (and if it wasn't we didn't know about it). Our guests have been telling us nonstop the whole experience was amazing and so memorable... attributable very much to Dani and the team around her! We owe her a lot more than this review could do... if you're a bride, start here!!!

FIRST advice is to stop reading this and go book Danielle before someone else does. She is the BEST, look no further. She cares about you like you are family and is 100 percent invested. This isn't just a "job" to her she really wants you to have the most beautiful wedding like it was her own. I have seen her cry for a bride who was forced to have her wedding indoors do to a tropical storm because she knew it wasn't what her bride really wanted. This girl is amazing and as sweet as they come!

I could write a book about how much I love Danielle and how thankful I am for everything she did for us to make our day so special! Not only is she amazing at her job but she is one of the kindest, funniest and most creative person I have ever met! Any idea I had, she helped me decide and bring it to life! She made our wedding weekend so relaxing for me, my mind was in 1,000 places and she handled everything with grace! She kept a smile on my face even during the rain and I’ll forever be thankful for her! If you are looking to get married in the low country, your search should start and end here at Oldfield with Danielle because you will never find someone as special as her!

Dani was the best thing that could have happened on our wedding day. She kept all the naughty groomsmen in check, and knew what we needed before we did. She made sure that we (bride and groom) had food ( which I cannot stress enough!), lighting was in place, tables were all set, flowers arrived on time, event moved along as planned, etc. Everything went smoothly, and she even rescued me when my veil got stuck on the stairs! I would highly highly recommend working with Simply Southern Events in any capacity. Dani’s professionalism and big personality made her a welcome addition to our big day.

Danielle is amazing! She went above and beyond throughout the wedding planning process to make sure we were taken care of. I did not live locally to the wedding venue but was so much more at ease knowing that Danielle was our Coordinator. Danielle is great to work with, she is extremely efficient, professional , easy going and flexible with ideas and changes. We loved working with her! Our wedding experience was truly wonderful and 99.9% of that was due to Danielle.

Danielle is the BEST in the business. We toured other venues and the minute I met her I knew I wanted her to be a part of my day. I read endless reviews about how other brides had raved about her and they did not disappoint. She pulled all of my details together perfectly day of -- the tables came out even more beautiful than what I had dreamt up in my head! She manages large wedding parties like a pro, keeps the cray of 4 year old flower girl meltdowns at bay, and responds like lightening to every text, email and call. She has such a great eye for details and will make sure the day runs perfectly. Her vendor and food recommendations were A++ and everyone we worked with that she had recommended did a fantastic job. Also worth noting -- though my family lived locally, I've since moved across the country and she was so patient about sending pics to remind me of how things looked at the venue, where decor could go etc. She also made recommendations for things I would have never thought to consider, which is why you hire a pro to help with an event this size. Day of, she made sure my dress, veil everything was perfect the whole time. I can't imagine not having her there worrying about things FOR me so I could be present and enjoy every minute. :) Overall, I highly recommend her and wish I could work with her again! You will not regret working with her on such a special day!

Wow! I wish I could give Danielle more than 5 stars. She is the best of the best. She knows wedding world inside and out...whether it's a question on a reception decorating idea or rallying a huge bridal party through hours of photos and grand entrance - she did it all with grace, patience, and a smile. She was a DREAM and made the wedding planning process and day of a truly magical experience. Wish it wasn't over...THANK YOU DANI!

I cannot say enough great things about Dani! She was responsive throughout the whole process and went above and beyond for my family and I. I truly have no idea what we would have done without her. Our wedding day was beautiful due to her hard work!! She took care of everything on the day of so that we could enjoy the day and not stress about the details 🙂 I would absolutely recommend Dani for anyone looking to have a beautiful, stress-free wedding!!!!

Put your foot on the brake and don’t look any further!! Seriously, there isn’t anyone out there that can help plan a wedding like Danielle. She is a ROCKSTAR! We were married March 10th at Oldfield and the best money we spent was to retain her. I really can’t even put into words how amazing she was to work with. We felt like we left with a best friend after the wedding! She knew the answers to our questions before I even asked them. She has been doing this for some time and clearly knows what she is doing. She took so much stress out of the wedding for me – it was unbelievable. She responded to every email within minutes, returned every call promptly. Every question I had – she had an answer to. Everything was PERFECT, beyond perfect. She was a HUGE part in that and we can’t thank her enough. You will be disappointed if you don’t use her for your wedding – she is just that good!

Dani is so amazing! We can't imagine how we would have done our wedding without her. She cares about her bride and groom and insures they have a great time. Dani is the best money we spent! You would be crazy to pass up an opportunity to work with her.
