Sir D's Catering

Talk about fantastic food, awesome servers, and two wonderful bartenders! Sir D's was wonderful and we appreciated all that they did for us for our wedding! Between having wonderful ideas when it came to table set-ups and table serving, to having all our guests raving about how delicious the food was (even the picky eaters), to having bartenders who remembered everyone's orders, we can't speak highly enough about Sir D's. If you are looking for top-notch service, Katelyn and Brittney are the best!

Overall, we had a good experience with Sir D’s. They did a sample tasting for us to help us choose what we wanted at our wedding. We appreciated having them come early to our venue to drop of the linens so we could start setting up tables. Our bartender was also great; he took good care of us, remembered our guests' drink orders, and was good about checking in with us when certain drinks were running low and when he left. They also provided us with guidance on what to buy for the bar. Even though we did a buffet dinner, they were nice enough to serve my husband and me, so we had a little extra time to eat. They were also good about working with special dietary needs and preparing separate meals as needed. However, we were a little disappointed that we didn't really have anyone to contact the morning of the event for last-minute questions. The manager in charge at the event didn't check in with us at any point during the event or before leaving (all of our other vendors did). We also didn’t realize that the leftover food couldn’t be placed in the fridge after being packaged (due to safety issues). That being said, we did reach out to Sir D’s and Brittney was really great about listening to our concerns, and we did enjoy the food, both the dinner and appetizers.

My husband and I used Sir D’s Catering - I Do Barbeque Package for our wedding. The team met with us several times prior to the wedding, including a venue visit to ensure that all of the details were taken care of. Sir D’s took care of all the food buffets and helped with our dessert table. They also brought our family a tray of food during cocktail hour and the bartender gave special attention to my husband and I ensuring we were well taken care of all night. And the guests raved about the incredible food. One area of improvement would be their email communication – two months before the wedding when we reached out, there was no response for over a week leading us to call them to get out questions answered. So close to our wedding, it would have been helpful to have answers promptly. In the end, the most important thing was that they performed and got us great food the day of the wedding, which everyone enjoyed.

Upon booking Harvest View Barn as our venue, we were given a list of five caterers to choose from: Sir D’s was an impressive sell from the beginning. The pricing for the wedding package included a flexible combination of passed and stationary hors d’oeuvres during Cocktail Hour in addition to a served dinner and seemed fair. There was a variety of options to choose from on their menu and coordinating a taste-test, where we had additional questions answered, was smooth. We worked with Brittney on preliminary timing and estimated guest count to receive a quote for the services: in person, she was buttoned up on the policies, but there was some miscommunication about the alcohol and bartending services (Sir D’s led us to believe we could work with another company for distribution and service after denying our request of coordinating with their own bartending team – which had been suggested when we booked) that could have better been explained upfront. We signed a contract stating any changes in numbers within 5 days of the event would be forfeited, so they were unfortunately not able to refund us anything (or box the extra meals after requesting) for our 9 no-shows (family emergencies and hospitalizations that we found out about the day before). Lastly, the portion sizes for the actual meals were significantly smaller than we were led to believe – heavy on the side dishes. The food was great, but by the time we ate it, we were frustrated with the whole situation. Our bartender through Sir D’s did go above and beyond as our alcohol distributor did not bring everything that we had requested and paid for – we were serving Old Fashioneds and they did not provide cherries and bitters. He made a quick run to the grocery store to ensure everything was set, and we certainly appreciated his attention to the guests. Overall, Sir D’s gave a very good first impression, but as reality laid itself out, was a little frustrating to work with, leading to disappointment in the overall service level.

Sir d’s catering was our venues preferred catering option so we rolled with it. They were really reasonably priced and the food was delicious at our tasting so it was an easy option. But throughout the planning process I at times at a hard time communicating with Britney, our emails often weren’t going through. The day of the wedding I was impressed with their set up and their wait staff was professional. Guests raved about the mashed potatoes. But their bartender they provided was awful. He made both our signature cocktails wrong, didn’t use the garnishes we provided, and could hardly use a beer tap. One other big gripe I have is with our cake. We had a tiered cake with two different flavors but they only cut one tier so our guests only got one option. I was too busy to even realize this until the wedding was over. And then they left the whole bottom tier out all night long so we had to throw out half of our $500 wedding cake, and it was the flavor we didn’t even get to try.

Originally, I had a great experience with Sir D’s when we tasted the food. The customer service was great and the food was Devine. I was so excited to share a great meal for my wedding with my family and friends from Sir D’s. As time went on, the communication became poor with staff and on the day of my wedding the food arrived late and was not appetizing. My guest complained that the food was poorly seasoned. The chicken was very bland. I wish the guest would’ve gotten to taste the food I had in the beginning. This has been a disappointing experience.

Sir D's was one of the best choices we made during our wedding planning process! We worked with Brittney and the rest of the Sir D's team on planning our large wedding. We chose the stations package and could not have been happier! The Sir D's staff was professional from start to finish. We asked for a few menu upgrades and had several guests with dietary restrictions. Sir D's was able to accommodate everyone! Our guests could not stop raving about the delicious food (which is the reason we did not have many leftovers at the end :). Brittney assisted us with all of the questions we had and helped us select the linens, plates, and menu. Sir D's staff came to the venue to meet with us during our final walk-through to ensure that everything was as planned. Thank you so much!

So many people complimented the food after our wedding! Everything went off without a hitch and they did a wonderful job. There was some lack of miscommunication in the early stages of the planning process and luckily I was given a new contact. From then on, everything was great!

Brittney at Sir D's was amazing to work with! We planned our wedding from abroad and she was so flexible with the entire process and all of our questions. Everything the day of the wedding went smoothly: they set everything up the day before, the food was delicious and there was more than enough of everything, and they did a good job with their cleanup. They were very careful with the food allergies we had flagged with them. Kings Gap is a unique venue (caterers can't actually cook on site) and Sir D's did a great job communicating with the venue to sort everything out. As a bonus, they did their first wedding there the weekend before ours and were able to give us feedback. The only thing that was an issue for us as we live abroad was complications with paying off the final balance. Our foreign credit card was rejected and we ended up having to drive an hour just to drop the balance off in cash since we don't have US checks. I guess that has more to do with their bank though!

Sir D's was hands down the best choice we made in the wedding planning process. We worked with Brittney and the communication was excellent! She worked around our schedules to plan meetings and tastings, and answered my countless emails promptly. Leading up to the day of, she put us at ease and had all of the answers to every single question we had! On the day of, we showed up, and everything was even better than we could have imagined. The food was INCREDIBLE and the guests won't stop talking about it! Everyone went up for seconds. We chose the Beef Bourguignon and Mediterranean Chicken as our main entrees from the long list of options they had. The bartender, Andy, was awesome and kept all of the guests happy, and made the two of us feel like celebrities when we would go to the bar, as he already knew what we wanted! The staff day of also juggled everything else while personally catering to us - bringing us appetizers and serving our meals to us even though we had chosen a buffet! At the end of the night, as guests trickled out and headed off to bars, the staff quickly cleaned up and helped my parents consolidate all of our centerpieces, wrapping up the wedding seamlessly. We could not have chosen a better caterer!

We worked with Brittney at Sir D's and had a fabulous experience. She was kind, professional, and easy to work with. She had attention to detail! She met with us on the phone or in the evenings to accomadate our busy schedule. She made things happen quickly since our engagement was so short. The day of was flawless and the food was absolutely delicious!!!!! The servers and other staff were very professional! We are sad it is not a restaurant to visit and eat more meals!

Sir D's was fantastic from start to finish. Very good communication throughout the entire process. I've been to a lot of weddings, and I don't often say how DELICIOUS the food was... Sir D's changed that rhetoric. Delicious food and appetizers made for the perfect reception. I still can't get over how fantastic their bartender was. Made all of our guests feel extremely happy, and made me feel like a VIP! I would recommend this caterer to ANYONE looking to have a simple planning process, delicious food, and outstanding service for everyone at their reception.

Sir D's catered the brunch at my parents' house the day after our wedding for our wedding party and families. The food was phenomenal and the fact that they come in and set everything up, and then come back to clean up and pick up was outstanding. Thanks for making our lives so much easier after a crazy weekend!

So easy and nice to work with. THE FOOD, oh my goodness so delicious. From the hors d'oeuvres to the dinner, our guests had happy tummies! I heard from numerous guests that this was the best wedding food they have ever had. Everything was very customizable. The linens, the napkins, the plates... they have so many options to work with your vision. Calla was always there answering all of my questions and even during the day she would check in with us to make sure we were okay. That is not something I was expecting from a caterer. We were so pleased with Sir D's!

Not sure I would choose them again for the same event if I had the choice. The food was good, but they said they couldn't assist with setting up my reception decorations, that I would have to have my family do it (I asked so I guess its my fault for asking!). But in the end they helped anyway? I asked if they could open at a certain time to let the DJ in on my wedding day, and they said the venue would open it. Clearly we had a miscommunication.....because no one was there to open it. I just felt there was a lack of "help" instead of them taking care of me on my wedding day. This was the ONLY thing that stressed me out. Again, food was good, but hoped for more.

Keep in mind, this review is based only from a guests perspective. Sir D's catered my friend's wedding. It was the worst food i've ever had at an event. I'm not exaggerating, the food was barely edible. Half of it was the taste, half of it was that it was cold by the time my table got to the buffet. Either way, one of the things I remember from this wedding was the bad food.

They were great with set up the day before and everything looked beautiful. Their communication was top notch all the way from the tasting ( which they actually seat you at an eight top and you get to see what the linens look like and the chef comes out to take notes on your preferences with the food) to the last little things I e-mailed about and were able to pass along the day of. As far as food goes the cocktails were excellent and we got so much great feedback regarding the bruschetta and meatballs! Dinner was yummy and their mashed potatoes were a huge huge hit. My one disappointment and reason for 4 stars came with the dinner regarding the kids meals, as the chicken tenders came out very burnt for some reason so the parents had to peel the breading off so the kids could eat the chicken, but most just ate the mac n cheese instead because it was not very appealing. As great as communication was the only communication we got back regarding this was a sorry and paying around $40 for a children's meal we expected there to be a little bit more. The bartender got a lot of compliments from our guest and we were told he started remembering what people were having and had it ready to go. He also came up to us a few times asking if we wanted anything. The only negatives we heard with the bar was the lines were way to long for cocktail hour and they wished there would had been 2 bartenders for the guest count (110) and then go down to one once inside but with their all inclusive package you have to be over certain count to get two. I did not really think it was a big deal until I was watching the video of our big day and I saw was how long it was. We also did the s'mores station which was great as well! Tried to incorporate all aspects of this company and hope this helps future brides!

I wish I could go back my wedding night and experience it all over again. It was the best night of my life, and a lot of that was due to Sir D's Catering. They made booking a caterer the easiest task on my wedding to-do list! Alexia and Calla were so prompt with their responses to any questions I may have had. They went above and beyond to make sure every thing was taken care of. Calla even came to our rehearsal and helped with our wedding party line up for the ceremony. The morning of the wedding Calla and her staff set up so quickly. All of the linens were beautiful! Before the wedding, I had a father-daughter first look in an area where guests were walking past to get to their seats. The bartender (provided by Sir D's) actually took it upon himself to ask guest to hold off on walking that way for about ten minutes so we could finish! I wish I could remember his name, but I loved him. We had so many of our guest compliment on how great he was. He did more than just stand behind the bar, he actually walked around making sure our elderly guest were okay on drinks, checked on tables and made sure Austin and I always had a drink in our hand. The food was FANTASTIC! I am still craving the seafood pasta and the chicken carnival. There was plenty of food, and all of our guests were raving on how good it was. Thank you Sir D's for making my wedding night perfect!

Fabulous! Sir D's was top notch all the way. They were open to menu customization and even helped us get things setup that weren't part of the catering. The staff was always professional and polite and fun to work with. We were looking for something different and ended up going with their clambake for our outdoor wedding. It was super hot outside the day we got married, but Sir D's was always on point and if they were bothered by the heat it never showed. Our guests absolutely raved about the awesome food and hor d'oeurves. Their setup was amazing as well, everything looked amazing and they matched their setup to our colors, which was perfect. We highly recommend Sir D's!

Sir D's did an incredible job in catering both my engagement party in 2015 & recent wedding! Our goal was to steer away from the standard menu items, but host a traditional wedding reception that would be a memorable & unique experience for all. My husband and I had a vision for our wedding with a menu that would express our Polish & Italian backgrounds - we love our food! Our friends & families loved every minute! Everything was on point from the creative hors d'oeuvres and flavorful dinner buffet, our interaction with the staff & event team and the way the their set-up complemented our vision. They offer a wedding package that includes almost everything you need for a sit down reception and I utilized a couple of upgrades that were still affordable (linens). I was not looking for the most expensive nor the least expensive caterer, Sir D's offered a price that I was comfortable in spending. HIGHLY recommended and I know my guests would agree! I think they've already been calling to book their own parties!

Working with Sir D's was great from the beginning. They were very professional, organized and helpful from the first meeting to the last. I did a lot of research on catering companies before choosing Sir D’s and we liked that they offered several food options for hors d'ourves and the main course. I also love that they are inclusive with their services where linens, plates, utensils and set-up was taken care of by them. Everyone complemented the food and how beautiful everything looked. I would recommend Sir D’s to anyone looking to have a wedding or occasion. They made my wedding day amazing!

Very organized and great food! Great communication and great staff!

As a wedding planner, I get to experience many wedding vendors, many times a year. For my September wedding couple, I needed a caterer with a comination of elegance and value, and Sir D's was it! My couple wanted to treat their guests to a sit down meal with a choice of entree, and Sir D's came through with not only delicious food, but beautiful presentation and wonderfully efficient and professional staff as well. This couple had also chosen a cocktail hour with a bar and hors d'ourves which was also beautifully attended to by Sir D's. All in all it was a wonderful evening; no guest was left unhappy and the couple was ecstatic...and me too! I will be placing Sir D's in my top tier of go-to caterers for my couples. For value, I don't know that you could do better because of the package that Sir D's puts together with food, linens, and table servings. Not one detail was over looked or had to be filled in by another vendor or me when it came to the food and drink served at this wedding! Their menu to choose from is extensive, too; if you can't find something to enjoy from this menu, you probably only eat cold cereal! But seriously, if you are planning any event, and want your guests to be well-fed with delicious food and pampered with excellent service while not busting your budget, please visit the professionals at Sir D's.

What attracted us to Sir D's catering from the start was their menu selection. After researching a number of caterers in the area, we liked that Sir D's offered a different variety of dinner options, not just your standard chicken or beef like many other caterers. We scheduled a tasting with Sir D's and from that point on knew they were the ones! Their food was absolutely delicious! We were also looking for a caterer that had the man power to set up for our reception during cocktail hour, as our ceremony took place in the same room that our reception took place. Sir D's again was able to meet our request. Alexia was very responsive throughout the entire planning process and was quick to answer any questions I had. Everything went just as planned for the day of our wedding. The room was flipped in an hour and the food was fabulous! All of our guests commented on how much they enjoyed their dinners. The portion sizes were generous compared to other weddings I've attended, and the dinners tasted just as they did when we tried them, which is impressive when cooking for 160 people. If you're looking for professional service and delicious food, I highly recommend Sir D's.

Everyone provided great service and the food was great! The only minor complaint I heard was that they took the food away too quickly.

Sir D's was absolutely AMAZING! From the planning process to the final stages of preparation to the day of the event! I have not stopped getting rave reviews from my guests about the food and table scapes since our wedding day! Everyone was friendly, polite, professional and accomidating.

We had met with staff from Sir D’s Catering at least three times in person and exchanged numerous emails between meetings prior to our wedding date to discuss precise details. We had arranged for platters of hors d’oeuvres to be waiting for wedding party in a conference room while our other guests were finishing cocktail hour. When we arrived to the conference room there was a small platter of hors d'oeuvres. We had about 30 people there and that was not enough food, nor were there beverages available. The waitress/waiter staff were very nice and able to get a small platter at a time--butler style. We asked them if they could place them on the table for our party to help themselves as we only had a short time in that room. When my husband and I got to our sweetheart table for dinner we were missing water and napkins. Not what you would expect from a catered event, and not to mention it was the bride and grooms table. Again, the wait staff was pleasant and able to track those items down, but we were surprised that those items were missing from our table. Dinner went smoothly and same with dessert. Dinner food was your typical “wedding food”. We had a late night snack for our guests. All soft pretzels for the late night snack were cold, wet and soggy. We heard good feedback from our guests about the s'more station. My husband and I heard several comments from our guests that the catering staff cleaned up guest's chocolate name cards (party favors) and threw them in the garbage while there were guest’s belongings on the table. The chocolate bars were personalized so guests wanted to take them home. Many of our guests actually went through the garbage to dig them out. These issues were discussed with Sir D’s Catering shortly after our wedding and their response was simply a detailed “Sorry.” There was no financial reimbursement. We were frustrated with such a quick, non-helpful answer after we spent a large amount of money (biggest cost of a wedding) on a vendor that did not produce the experience we were promised had so greatly anticipated.

We were so grateful to have found Sir D's! They did a phenomenal job with our wedding! The food was AMAZING and the service was excellent. They really worked with us to find a menu that made us happy! We honestly had so many guests tell us how great they thought the food was compared to other weddings they'd been to! I know I made sure I tried everything and it was all great! Additionally, they kept us on track with tables, linens, etc. They were such a great help! Alexia and Sir D's were wonderful and I'd highly recommend their services!

Sir D's staff was very professional and easy to work with. They customized a menu for us at no additional charge. The menu combined our heritages, black and Latino, and they did us proud. The food was delicious and our guests are still raving about it. They were very accommodating, for instance they were able to operate a cash bar for us. The price was very reasonable. We would definitely hire them again

Catering was by far the most stressful part of planning our wedding until we decided to work with Sir. D's. We got married at my parents' home, so we were on our own with how to organize a huge event. Their experience helped us really define what we wanted our event to look like and how we could organize our day. Sir D's helped us to customize our own menu based on our desire to have a picnic-themed wedding and the importance to us for locally-sourced food. We also wanted to incorporate dishes that were important to us including my grandfather's special macaroni and cheese recipe and homemade pierogies since we live in Pittsburgh. Sir D's made it ALL happen, AND it tasted amazing. Although no one can make the mac and cheese like my grandfather, they did a very very close second, and the pierogies were fantastic. The staff even saved me and my husband a plate of hors'dourves so we didn't miss out while we had photos taken. It's important to point out that they also did this within our budget! No other vendor was willing to work with us for 200 guests within a sane price range. The food was just as amazing as your 70 dollar a plate caterers, but for literally a fraction of the cost. All in all, they really made our wedding day come together and we cannot thank them or recommend them enough!

Sir D's did an amazing job catering our wedding! The food was absolutely delicious and I received many compliments on it. Sir D's worked with us to plan the perfect menu for our guests. I worked with Rebecca Gerard, who was very flexible and accommodating as far as meeting with us and making sure we had everything we needed. She was quick to respond to my many emails and was very organized and helpful in making decisions about the logistics of the reception. Sir D's is well prepared for doing weddings as they have many years of experience. We did have a few day-of mishaps, as expected, but overall the day went perfectly.

Everyone at our reception raved about the cocktail hour, the buffet, and the bartender - our guests loved her! The food was excellent - we couldn't be more pleased!

When we decided to have a breakfast for dinner reception, Sir D's really stepped up with some creative ideas! Even though they changed staff half way through our planning, the transition was barely noticeable. Rebecca was responsive and available throughout the whole process. At the event, staff was polite and professional. They were barely noticeable through set up, serving, and clean up, but everything got done completely! Everyone raved about the food and was happy with the service. Overall, we loved working with them!

I hired Sir D's for my daughters vintage barn wedding because ( unlike the others) the owner Don LISTENED to me.. he saw our vision for the day and did not disappoint!! The Sir D's crew ROCKED it!!! I did not have to worry about a thing the whole day .. they had it covered. The food was outstanding, service was top notch and the bar tenders were perfect for our crowd. We received many compliments on the food and the presentation was beautiful Thank you Sir D's!!!!

We got married at the AACA and had Sir D's caterer our reception. Through the whole process Meghan did an awesome job guiding us through a variety of options for our menu. The appetizers were delicious - crab cakes were my favorite! Our guests complimented us on the food and loved it. The tenderloin carving station was my husbands favorite. The service and presentation was outstanding. We were very impressed and pleased with Sir D's - thank you so much!

Deciding on a caterer was a big decision in our wedding planning process. Some people focus on venue or flowers or whatever...I focused on food. We wanted a specific and slightly unusual menu for our wedding. Sir D's came to us with a proposal that was undeniably amazing. For the budget we set out, they came back with a menu proposal that was exactly what we were looking for. Also, since we don't live in PA, it was important that it was easy to communicate with our vendors. I cannot say enough about how awesome Meghan was to work with. She always responded quickly to my emails. Because of this, she helped keep my stress level very minimal the days approaching the wedding. At the wedding and the days following the wedding we received so many compliments from our guests regarding our food. It was hands down, some of the best food I've had. I'm not just saying "wedding food" either...it was delicious! People are still talking about it. I should also mention that since we didn't want your typical wedding cake for dessert. Sir D's came up with the idea of mini malts and floats, which fit our menu perfectly. We also had a dessert table with a variety of desserts. Needless to say, no one left hungry. If you are looking for a great caterer to work with, you can't go wrong with Sir D's. They have little over head cost, unlike some of the other catering companies. Plus, they are easy to work with and make delicious food!

Food was excellent service could use some work

I would give them no stars if the site would let me. I thought this caterer was going to be it for me. The price seemed right and the coordinator was nice. The venue requires caterers not on their approved list to submit a brief application and proof of insurance. "No problem!" they said "we submitted it" they said. Well came to find out that not only did they not submit the necessary information to our venue, but Sir D's is well aware they are banned from the venue due to a previous incident! When I first contacted them they could have made up any excuse as to why they don't go to my venue and I would have simply moved on. Instead, they decided to lie to me on multiple occasions, string me along for months, and waste precious time that I should have been using to find a caterer that could actually serve at my venue. Maybe you won't have any problems but I certainly would take a company's lack of professionalism and ethics into consideration when you are planning to spend thousands of dollars on one of the most memorable days of your life.

Meg and the staff at Sir D's were awesome to work with. Meg was very available via email and helped answer all sorts of questions. Their crab cakes (part of our "dry rubbed chicken and crab cake" option) were maybe the best we've had. Our guests raved about the food: 1) it was still HOT when it got to them, 2) the portions were not the typical tiny wedding fare, and 3) everything was delicious. Very professional wait staff too.

We decided to use Sir D's for our November 2011 wedding at Landis Valley Museum and could not be more satisfied with the results. From our first meeting to our day, we were treated with the utmost respect and first quality service. Meghan was there for me through so many bride "dilemmas" and always offered support and fabulous suggestions. Meghan was always flexible with meeting times and locations. When our wedding day finally came, I snuck into the venue to see everything together and could not have been happier with our centerpieces (also created by Sir D's/Meghan) and over all feel of our reception. I was amazed what Meghan produced with a box full of milk jugs and our "woodsy" theme. Many of our guests remarked on how "us" it all was. Everything was perfect! When talking to our guests during cocktail hour the remarked that they were full from all the delicious appetizers and couldn't believe we were still serving dinner...:) The staff circulated numerous times with our passed hors and the bartender kept up well with our celebrating family and friends. Food was served in a timely matter and we received many complements regarding the meal. I would highly recommend Sir D's for any catered occasion.

I don't know where to begin when it comes to Sir D's and Meg. They are simply a wonderful team. Meg is a joy to work with - while she was helping me (and I'm sure other brides) she was also planning her own wedding, but you would never know if she was stressed because her attention was always on you. She was very speedy at returning emails and phone calls. She was straight forward and always did her best to make sure you were happy with whatever you chose. She made it her duty to make sure you were happy with what you were spending your money on. They offered certain extras like a candy bar or root beer float table, which we chose to do since both my hubby and I love Root Beer Floats. The table was awesome!! Everyone at the wedding loved it and Sir D's did a great job with it. The food was also amazing! A lot of people complimented us on our selection of foods. The day of the wedding was quite a wet one with Hurricane Irene making an appearance at the wedding, but Meg and her staff worked through the storm and helped make the day so beautiful. I cannot thank Meg and Sir D's enough for everything they did for our big day. I would HIGHLY suggest Sir D's to all brides and grooms. Meg is more than a pleasure to work with - she went above and beyond for me and I cannot thank her enough for all of her hard work.

My husband and I were very pleased to work with everyone at Sir D's for our wedding at Lime Spring Farm this past weekend. Leading up to the event, we worked directly with Meg who went out of her way to ensure that we had everything we needed in line. She was punctual, attentive, and very organized. We didn't have to worry about anything during our perfect day as they took care of all the details. The staff was very professional at all times and made our guests feel special. As for food, we couldn't have been happier with our selections. The meals were hot, tasty, and served with a smile. We would highly recommend anyone looking for a great, dependable catering service to give Sir D's a try!

I just recently got married in May and I used Sir D's Catering. I could not have ended up with a better cater for my wedding. They were pleasant, patient, helpful, professional, I can't say enough. I had very specific ideas in mind as to how I wanted the tables set, how the menu was to be designed and the overall presentation. Sir D's was right on and they created exactly what I had envisioned. Not to mention the food was fantastic! Don customized my menu and recreated one of my favorite dishes perfectly. My guests are still talking about the food and service. I would recommend Sir D's to any bride, they were a pleasure to work with and made my day perfect!

I can not say enough great things about Sir D's! Meghan was great to work with and answered every question and made suggestions for things I did not think of. They have a menu with so many options and they really helped to choose the best items for our outside reception. I met with Meghan for our tasting and kept in touch via email and met again a week before the wedding at the venue and reviewed the whole day. They were great in setting up and I felt so confident and calm the day of the wedding. I couldn't have asked for anything more when I walked into our venue and they even matched their linens to our colors. The guests said the food was great and the staff was so professional and acommodating! I would most certainly recommend Sir D's to any bride and groom..affordable, acommdating, detailed, and wonderful food!

Sir D's (especially Meghan) were extremely helpful to me throughout the process of planning our wedding! They helped with the rental list, amounts for tableware, ice, beverages, etc. AND "fluffed" their buffet tables to match our wedding colors. Plus...the food was great! We did an hor douerves menu with a pasta bar added. Our only negatives was the roast beef was too rare, but that can be avoided by being more particular with what you order from them.

I could not have been more pleased and happy that Sir D's was recommended to us. Everyone was extremely helpful and wonderful to work with. We had an outside wedding and they had contingency plans for everything. Jose went above and beyond during the planning until the end of the reception. The staff even packed up an ice chest of food, dessert and drinks for my hubby and I after the ceremony - so thoughtful... If you are getting married in the Hershey, PA area you must use them.
