g due to COVID. While things changed a little, we still had a wonderful wedding! Sky Creek Ranch has some beautiful areas for pictures, I can't wait to get my pictures back!

We unfortunately had to cancel our original wedding plans with Sky Creek due to COVID, but Keaton and Sky Creek were very understanding and accommodating with our deposits that we paid up to that point. Beyond that, the venue was beautiful, and it was going through a remodel right before our wedding that we never got to see, so I'm sure the ballroom is even more gorgeous now. The wedding package they offer is a great deal including dinner, a cash bar, and even some basic centerpieces and decor we could use. Overall, this place is a great deal all around and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a wedding venue!

ough I knew I already wanted Sky Creek she had to see it too. She loved it right away. Keaton is honestly the best and sweetest person to work with. She made things so easy and tried to keep me calm when I was in worry bride mode!!! My mom loved her literally right off the bat, when my Mom calls you babe (don’t worry about it babe) in that loving way you know she likes you & she did that with Keaton right away. Sadly I am late in writing this review because my Mom passed away 6 months after my wedding. I am so glad we have the memories of pre-wedding things we got to do together. Sadly she wanted to write a review of Sky Creek and Keaton as well but that never happened, but just know she loved it and didn’t have a bad thing to say about it. I have some great pictures of my mom by the windows that look out.....so glad. The food was great, we did a tasting to decide what we wanted. We also had the rehearsal dinner there too. Everything was just great. We did the wedding and the reception inside and they were so quick to get the room flipped. There is a bar downstairs that the guests went while they flipped the room. Keaton went above and beyond to help my mother too!! My Mom had COPD and on the day of the rehearsal dinner she used a golf cart to bring her to the dinner. I would and have recommended Sky Creek for any brides looking. Just watch where you throw your bouquet....mine went in the chandelier!!! LOL. :)

n the tables for us and decorated all we had to do was drop off everything. The food was amazing. We had brisket, jalapeno cheddar sausage, gouda mac and cheese (its the best), baked beans, and texas toast. We had salad too with their delicious ranch dressing. For our grooms cake we used their pecan pie which everyone said tasted amazing. The staff was great and super helpful. Roxie and Heather are so calm and fun. When I asked Heather if she could plate some food for my grandmother (who is real old) she said of course. The place fits about 150 which we had about 140 people and it felt cozy and intimate. The price is a great price for everything that is included such as tables, linens, plateware, service, etc. Thanks so much again to Sky Creek Ranch and their great staff and facility. Our wedding was everything we dreamed of and more!

remely pricey. I WAS WRONG. Our original wedding date was set for November 10, but another couple came to Sky Creek Ranch inquiring for the same date. We were asked if we were flexible with our date, and because we were they gave us some discounts! Tip for all future brides: if the venue asks if you're flexible with your date-ask if there are any discounts given for moving your date! You will be surprised at what you will get! Sonia Rodriguez was our go-to at Sky Creek Ranch, and she was a pleasure to work with! Extremely professional, and really had our wedding's best interest in mind! We loved what she did for us! Before we left the reception, she made sure to get a few slices of our wedding cake, and the groom's cupcakes for us to take the hotel that night! If she didn't do that, we probably wouldn't have had any of our cake! AND THE FOOD! We had the steak medallions, green beans, salad and smoked gouda mac 'n cheese, and the food was DELICIOUS. I probably could have eaten my weight in that steak! Joe and I highly recommend Sky Creek Ranch Golf Club to anyone in the Keller/DFW area! All our guests commented on how beautiful the facility is!

the day of, everything was exactly where I wanted it to be. They even put out the favors towards the end of the evening. Everyone had a great time. I had approximately 110 guests and we all had room. Great food, great options and a great price! For the set up and tear down of the ceremony and reception area, food and drinks, my husband and I only spent $4000! I definitely recommend having your wedding here!

icious. Its nice working with an all inclusive venue because its so much less stress. I would recommend this venue if you're looking to have a small, affordable wedding. We might have had a little too many guest for this particular venue, but they helped us make it work!

glad I did!! Sonia says shes just the food & beverage director but she is Soooo much more than that!!! She added special touches and has an excellent eye for detail!! The food was amazing!! Had several guests complement on it! We did the Italian buffet and were very pleased with everything!! Even my most picky friend raved about the Alfredo sauce! The entire staff was very classy and professional and made our day wonderful!! There was not one thing that went wrong!! We were on a budget but still wanted to have a nice wedding and Sky Creek Ranch made that happen!! Lots of our guests also said it was a very classy wedding and very well put together! Oh and the place is already beautiful so you dont need a lot of decor which is also nice!! :)

had about 75-80 guests and it was the perfect size. Even up to about 100 or a little more would still be really great! it was intimate, not too big or small, the atmosphere was warm, but not too heavy, it has big beautiful windows overlooking the golf course. I would recommend the venue itself for sure! The issues that we did have were actually communication with the staff kind of issues. I did not have a wedding planner and I did a lot of the design of our wedding and a lot of things myself. ie, made napkins, flower girl dresses, bought my own tablecloths and made burlap overlays for them. Anyways, there were things i would need in order to make or order some of the items, like the size of the tables. I specifically asked for the size of the TABLES themselves so I would know what size of tablecloth I wanted to use. It took several days to get an answer and I think 3 emails of clarification. The first time I got the size of tablecloths they use, then I got an answer to a different question then after about a week I finally got the answer. Which if you are on a tight budget and timeframe you would prefer quicker responses. They were very nice, but the communication was just the issue for me. There were two people who would send me emails and then I got confused on who I was actually supposed to be speaking to and who would actually be answering my questions. Its not like I expected it to be 100% smooth, but they had told me also they would be able to push the buttons on our ipod for the ceremony and it would be no probelm, the day before at the rehersal they said oh no we don't have anyone who can do that, we dont do that. So that was a bit frustrating, we ended up having a friend push the buttons for the ipod. The staff just didnt' seem to do a lot. When guests arrived they all came into the reception area I guess because they were early. Well i was in the back "hiding" and finishing getting ready and of of the staff comes to me and says, "um yall need to tell your guests to go down to the reception site" my sister in law said can you all not tell them, the staff told us, we don't know them and yall do so it is better if yall tell them. I guess my whole point is that I was a little confused on what the staff do at the venue and what services they provide. Perhaps if I had a wedding planner wo helped me it wouldn't be such a big deal, but most brides are do it your selfers and so communication and being clear on whose job is whose is kind of a big deal. Overall, I would have my wedding again there, but I would make sure to clarify more thing beforehand.

then didnt show up the day of the wedding to set up- Save yourself a headache the day of your wedding and book somewhere else.

the service was terrific. I would recommend this vender for a receptions for an intimate wedding of 150 or less.
