Skylinks at Long Beach

I had my wedding there two days ago and I wanted to write this review while the memory is still fresh. I'll keep it simple for those who are contemplating to choose this place or not, trust me, you will thank me for choosing this place. Brooke and Sydney is so wonderful to work with and they will help you every step of the way. We did our wedding without a wedding planner and honestly never felt like one was needed. We did the platinum package with double proteins, salmon and chicken with rice to be exact and it was by far the best wedding food I tasted. Other staffs were all very professional and easy to work with. Big thanks to all the wait staff, bartenders and banquet captain. I whish I can give more stars but only allows five, so here's ten more ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ thanks again and love you guys so much!

Skylinks is amazing, we couldn’t have picked a more perfect venue for our wedding! The waterfall in the background of our ceremony and the golf course for our photoshoot were the icing to our beautiful wedding day. The whole staff was very friendly and very accommodating, our venue coordinators Brooke & Sydney were always very helpful and guided us with any questions we had. Bonus points for our shared love in Star Wars (which was incorporated into our wedding theme). The food and table setup were amazing! The banquet staff were super friendly and made sure the bride and groom were well fed as well. If you are looking for a venue for your wedding or birthday, give them a call. The staff will be more than happy to show you this beautiful place.

From start to end, they make the planning so easy and smooth. They respond to you quickly. They even provide you with a list of resources and vendors they worked with in the past which waa great!

Brooke and Sydney were amazing with communication and kept us posted on any changes or events going on.

We had a wonderful time on our best day of life at the Skylinks. Brooke and Sydney were great to work with from the start to the end. They made our planning much easier. The first impression we got from interacting with Brooke played a major role in our decision to go with Skylinks. We were very well taken care of. The venue was great! We loved the outdoor ceremony and the indoor reception. The space was the right size for our wedding and the back patio was the best spot for the bar and for the guests to chill out. The food quality was great, too. We would highly recommend this place!

The staff at skylinks was everything we could have asked for very professional from the beginning to the end. When my big day finally came I had nothing to worry about the staff and vendors had everything together that day all I had to do was live in the moment in which I did. I would like to thank the whole wedding team at Skylinks for all of their hard work to make my day exactly how I wanted it to be❣️

Very nice place to have a wedding or any type of celebration, Brooke is so nice and very understanding. Food is good and staff that help during the reception very nice. We are so happy we had our wedding at Skylinks!

Skylinks was the perfect venue for our wedding. Brooke and Diana were fantastic! They were always helpful and attentive to our needs. They had a great attitude when answering several of my questions during the planning process. And they were always so POSITIVE which was greatly appreciated during the constant challenges of coordinating everything. So the selling points of this venue were: ceremony and reception could both be held onsite, ceremony area has a cool waterfall, parking was nearby which was very accommodating to our guests with disabilities, wedding packages had many options to make everything within our budget...we went a lil over (but HEY...who doesn't...it was worth it!!), our package included pre-wedding food tasting and rehearsal time; food, bartender, champagne, servers, item-specific set-up and clean up, basic linens & utensils, a photo booth backdrop (BONUS!). They are partnered with a couple bakeries...the one we chose made us the most BEAUTIFUL cake (also included in our package)! We got to customize everything, which we absolutely loved. They provided us with golf carts to shuttle ourselves out to the scenic area of their golf course for wedding pix. And they assisted us with finding vendors for some added embellishments we wanted--just to make it extra special. We had a big problem that our photographer did not take any pix of the decor or flowers...Brooke and Diana saved the day by providing me with some pix they happened to take onsite during the wedding. So how did our wedding go...??? Lets just say that Skylinks far exceeded our expectations and basically gave us the most lovely wedding like EVER!! We couldn't be more pleased.

As an out of state bride, it is very difficult to find a wedding venue that's across the country. I was in New York. Based on the pictures they presented and the positive review over here, I decided to book Skylinks so I told my finance to go there to sign the contract and pay the deposit. It was November 2018. We paid the 2nd deposit at the beginning of February 2019. 2 weeks later on Valentine's day I decided to check out the venue in person. I cried at the spot. They promised the ceremony area and banquet hall will fit up to 150 people. Nope! It was a lie. When we got there, the flowers and trees near the fountain were almost dead, and the ceremony area is small. I went inside the banquet hall, I saw there were DJ and someone setting up for a birthday party. The ceiling was very low, at one side of the room, you can reach the ceiling if you raise your hands. There wasn't enough lighting in the room. The party had 8 tables set up. You can hear the kitchen staffs talked very loudly and the cranking noise made by dish stacking if you stand in the middle of the room, where the kitchen is right next door. Me, my fiancé, and planner were trying to measure the space and fit 15 round tables in that space. It was impossible! Consider you have to put a 20by20 dance floor, cake table, dessert bar table, sweet heart table, 15 round tables. I called Brooke and her manager tried to talk about the issue. Brooke was avoiding me and said she will talk to the manager. the Manager was avoiding me and said he will talk to Brooke. There were playing games with me. The last conversation with the manager was very bad as I asked for partial refund since the venue gave false information and the pictures were misleading. He refused. He said if they open the front door and back door, so set up some of the tables to sit outside. I told him that we can't have guests sitting isolated from the rest. That's insulting our guests. Another crazy idea he suggested was we seat the children outside and let the adults sit inside. How can you separate the children from their parents? Children need supervision from their parents! I told him that we would not agree to that crazy idea and he said we signed the contract and refused to give us any partial refund. But the contract we signed was based on the information we received and saw online. In person is very different. It's false advertisement. He hanged up on me and avoid all my call ever since. Our wedding was last day of August, we let them know as soon as the venue doesn't fit our needs so they can find other customers. Brooke said if they can find any customer for our event day then might consider to give us some partial refund but never tell me when and how. I have been trying to contact them regarding the issue and see if they find any new customer. I am sure they did because I saw they posted pictures from that event day. However, Brooke has also been avoiding me. I called and left voice mails and never hear back from them. Very poor customer service! The manager is all about that money and have no sense of empathy. I suggested you to stay away from this venue because you will not get any support if anything gone wrong.

Skylinks at Long Beach was such a great venue for our wedding. The whole process for looking at venues was already stressful enough, but Brooke was so helpful from day one that she made sure that what we wanted in our package was within our budget. The banquet at Skylinks has natural sunlight and a beautiful waterfall in the front. One thing we also wanted for our wedding was to have amazing food and Skylinks delivered our expectation. The day after our wedding a lot of our family members told us how amazing the food was and how full they got. Until this day we still get compliments from friends and family about the food and the bartender. Brooke, Diana, and the whole Skylinks team was helpful and attentive during the whole process to the day of our wedding. Thank you Skylinks team!

I was very lucky to have my bridal shower brunch at Skylinks. My beautiful cousin Brooke happens to be the Event Director at this venue and she and my aunt gave me a wonderful shower. Brooke is amazing to work with – so organized and attentive and sensitive to the needs of the client and their budget. She has great ideas and suggestions for everything including vendors, ceremony décor and food. You will most definitely feel assured working with Brooke that your event will be outstanding. My bridal shower was absolutely lovely. The room is spacious, sun-filled and cheery. My décor was shades of blushes and pinks with beautiful overhead draperies which made the room look so elegant. I had a very cool and unusual champagne mimosa wall and an inviting dessert station. The breakfast buffet was delicious and the foods included breakfast items, pasta, salads and even a taco bar! Outside on the patio, they created a “Hollywood style” step and repeat with a champagne bottle balloon that was so cute for taking pictures with all of the guests. The staff and servers were also all so friendly and helpful. The location is perfect for events coming from Orange County and Los Angeles and the outside ceremony site is lovely. You will be very pleased working with Brooke and her team and having your event at Skylinks at Long Beach.

Skylinks golf course was phenomenal as the venue for our wedding. Not only do they have a great centralized location for any LA/OC wedding, but their staff knows how to help you each and every step of the way all while being very professional and friendly. We really wanted to point out how helpful everyone was towards us and how much they went out of their way to make sure the process was fun instead of stressful. A specific shoutout to Brooke is necessary as she was truly the perfect private event director. She put us at ease because we could see how amazing she is at her job and we took comfort in knowing they had everything under control. A few highlights that we LOVED that made us so happy we chose Skylinks for our venue were: 1) the gorgeous waterfall which was such beautiful backdrop to our ceremony and pictures- the photos of the ceremony, our first look and the family photos are extra special because of it. 2) The venue has so much that you can utilize which meant less work for us. Depending on what package you get, certain things are included so you can easily customize to your budget. We were glad to not have to worry separately about tables, chairs, linens, ceremony arch, food, cake, beverages as it was all included in our package. 3) They offer so many other things that you can add on at a charge that can make your day extra special and customize to your exact liking- for example we had a donut wall, a mimosa wall, a screen to display a picture slideshow and giant games for our guests to enjoy. 4) The venue has a great bridal suite! It is very spacious, has a large corner mirror so you make sure your dress is looking just right, a couch for others to accompany you, and a vanity set up to get ready in. 5) The excellent coordination and attention to detail the day of. Everything went off without a hitch and we received so many comments from our guests saying the service and venue was excellent. Overall, we couldn’t be happier with our choice and we would absolutely recommend this venue.

My daughter’s Quinceañera was awesome thanks to Brooke and the team at Skylinks. My daughter was so happy and our guests were impressed with the venue. The food and service were amazing. Thank you for making our event so special.

My fiancé and I came here for a tour. We were impressed by Brooke! She was so hospitable, caring, and genuinely sensitive to our budget. We didn’t end up going with this venue, because we were looking for a different set up. In terms of customer service and knowing you will have a coordinator who will ensure your wedding day will be as stress free as possible, I highly recommend Brooke and Skylinks!

Skylinks we so perfect for us. My husband and I had a ceremony of 115 people with a bundt cake and champagne reception. Brooke and Sydney at Skylinks we’re so patient with us during the planning process and worked with us to provide exactly what he wanted. The golf course is beautiful; perfect for a Sunday morning/afternoon wedding like ours!

Love the customer service at Skylinks. The private event director is very friendly and definitely listens to what the customer wants and envisions. She also offers great tips and suggestions. The venue has an elegant touch to it with all the drapery it has. They have various food options, I personally went for the Italian buffet and my guests were delighted with every bit of it. I love that there was always someone I could contact in case of anything, specially throughout the day of the event. We are extremely glad we chose Skylinks to host my sister's Quinceanera. Definitely recommend for any event. Thanks Skylinks!

Skylinks was amazing! The venue is beautiful. The food was great. The value was excellent, and most importantly, the staff is AMAZING. Brooke and Sydney are stellar. There were always very responsive to my questions and concerns. They are also flexible with the packages and with the catering. For our wedding we were able to do a custom menu for the same price as what’s typically offered in the package. It’s also an amazing value. We had a wedding of 168 guests for the highest package, it came out to LESS than $25k for everything. By everything I mean practically everything. Ceremony site, reception hall, food, alcohol, linens, chair/table rentals, invitations, AND cake. Overall, I’m very very pleased and so happy we had our wedding here!

We used them for a High school grad party! (July 21, 2018) 2nd year in a row that we have used Skylinks for this same reason. However a wedding would definitely be held at this venue. Brooke and Sydney are awesome to work with. The day of the venue, all the staff was amazing. They were able to make multiple last minute adjustments for us in regards to the floor set up and decor. Sarah and her crew did an awesome job at meeting all our needs the evening of the event and even joked back with our very...very sarcastic family. We will definitely use them again in the future :) Btw: we had 2 different color schemes from this event and the 2017 grad party. They were able to get it done and make it happen. Highly recommend SKYLINKS.

My school and I had an AP Banquet at Skylinks at the end of the year. This was the third year that we have had it at Skylinks and it was great! The food was delicious, the hall was nice, and the photo opts outside were beautiful. The only complaint that I have is how we were set up in the room did not allow us to have any sound or music throughout the entire night. We had a whole video presentation but no sound to play because the speakers were too far from how we were set up. If I knew that the speaker and sound room was far from the projector then I would have prepared better and asked to switch the layout of the room. It was hard to enjoy the night when I was stressed about the speakers not working for the videos we prepared. We ended up putting the mic to the laptop for sound...didn't work very well. However the employees that were working that night were amazing and so kind. They helped us try to figure things out and gave us different cords to try. They were awesome!

Choosing Skylinks as my wedding venue was a no brainer once I met the staff (Alyssa, Brooke and Sydney). They not only were friendly but actually got me excited about the planning and how my day would look. They answered every random question I had and emailed me back quickly. I feel that they not only helped me have the most amazing day but they are now people I will always remember. The venue was everything I could ask for and just the right size for my wedding of 100 guests. Everyone praised the food, the venue and how smoothly everything went. Wonderful and affordable venue in great location with amazing food and the best staff!

We visited many different venues but my heart was made up the minute I saw this venue and talked to The event coordinator Alyssa. She was fanatic and made the process so easy. This venue is so beautiful with the waterfall and the small lakes where we took pictures it has everything you need in one place. Alyssa and Sydney were fantastic and very helpful I had so many compliments about them and this venue. I would highly recommend this location to anyone searching for a venue you will not be disappointed.

Absolutely loved this venue. It was perfect for us from the first time we had a tour of it. We looked at a few other venues & just kept going back on thoughts of Skylinks. It worked out for the best. Ceremony, cocktail hour, & reception was all in one place. Very flexible & convenient for 140 guest & ourselves. Alyssa was professional & very engaged. Everything was perfect! The reception room was & looked amazing after we added a few upgrades. Definitely worth all the money spent! Food was the bomb too. We're still getting complements on the food. Ceremony site was beautiful & so peaceful with the sounds of the waterfall. We would definitely recommend this venue for a wedding!

I really enjoyed working with Anna, the site manager. It was an extreme pleasure working with her through out this process. She was very professional, and supplied me with everything I needed during my wedding planning process. The venue was very beautiful and well kept. I received so many compliments from my guests regarding the venue and how beautiful it was. They worked with our budget and made our wedding dreams come true. They executed our vision, and went above and beyond with the design and layout of our ceremony and reception. I would recommend to anyone to use this venue.

Anna and her staff were truly amazing. She made this hectic process very simple and personal. I was beyond happy on how things turned out and even happier that this fit within budget. Once I saw the waterfall, I knew this was where I had to get married! I'm truly very satisfied and recommend Skylinks to anyone getting married, you will not be disappointed!

We had our wedding at Skylinks at it was truly amazing!!! It was better than what I could have imagined! Ana was amazing giving us her input and advice throughout the whole process. It was more than just a job for her, we truly made a connection. She went on and above to make our dreams come true! I would definitely recommend going to their wedding show- it brings it to life for you, and you have a better idea of what to expect on your big day. It gave us a chance to add things that we wouldn't of thought about if we haven't gone. We also went with one of their DJ's- Mr. Quick- best decision we could have made! It's only been a few weeks since our big day, but everyone is still talking about it- and everyone is bugging us to get married again. lol. The waterfall makes for great pictures! We went out to the golf course with our bridal party- and everyone loved having their own golf cart- and the pictures are truly amazing! Overall Skylinks is a great place- it is very flexible and you can something simple but classy- or super elegant and extraordinary. I definitely recommend it for any couple looking for a wedding venue.

I feel so lucky that I stumbled upon this venue! Everything turned out perfect.. From the planning to the execution, the process couldn't have been better. Anna is the event coordinator at Skylinks. I can't even begin to explain just how amazing she is at what she does. She is so helpful and knowledgable about all things weddings. She was an absolute delight! The venue is beautiful.. The Ceremony space and reception area were perfect for what we wanted. Taking pictures out on the golf course was so fun and the backdrop was so pretty! I highly recommend this location for a wedding. Everything was very easy and the wedding day went off without a hitch!

My husband and I could have not chosen a better venue to host our wedding! Anna, Private Events Manager, was very caring, patient, and easy to work with. Her pleasant personality and attention to detail made the planning process a breeze. She clearly knows the importance of making the wedding day a success. She was very accommodating to our requests and was accessible to answer all of our questions. Anna went above and beyond to make sure the wedding went as planned even with the bizarre weather we were experiencing. The exceptional customer service does not end with Anna leading the way, Banquet Captain Maile and Food and Beverage Manager Bing, made sure that the wedding moved along without any hiccups with food being served on time and making sure that all our needs were met for the night. The wedding was a huge success and everyone raved about the organization of events. Thank you everyone at Skylinks! The wedding was a success because of you.

We are very happy we had our wedding ceremony and reception at Skylinks. Anna was absolutely amazing! Wedding planning can be hectic, but we definitely enjoyed every second of it all thanks to Anna. All of our guests commented on how delicious the food was (vegetarians were impressed; they said this was the best vegetarian meal they ever had!) and that it was one of the best weddings they've ever been to. We definitely recommend Skylinks!!

I actually had my daughters sweet 16 here but definately wish i new about it for my wedding. Suzette, the event coordiantor was amazing in helping me get everything in order and was so helpful in making sure all the details were taken care of since I was the planner. I love the flexability i had with them. The food was great, and the drinks were awesome, and the DJ they provided was soooo good and sooo proffesional. We had an amazing memorable time. Thanks Suzetter and Skylinks staff!

Skylinks and all the staff involved made our special day so great. The event planner Suzette was fabulous and helped us with every step of the way. Everything went so smooth and I would definitely recommend using this for your wedding location! We had our ceremony and reception there all in one!!

I chose this venue because not only was it a beautiful location with a waterfall backdrop, but Suzette, the wedding coordinator made us feel so comfortable and was always there to answer our questions. Even though she has other brides to deal with for each weekend, she was always there to answer my questions and ease my mind that everything would be taken care of, and it was. :-) We just told her what we wanted,how we wanted it, and she made sure we got it, with no problem. She even customized mine and my husbands meals, since we are both picky eaters. Suzette and her staff were there to take care of every detail so we had nothing to worry about. The venue offers a lot of cute add-ons gorgeous/cute details. I would highly recommend the venue and staff if you are looking for a beautiful venue and a worry-free wedding.

Since our reception & ceremony took place outside, we felt that the venue went out of their way to make us feel as if the entire location was ours. The staff was amazing & everything that we asked for was fullfiled to the dot. GORGEOUS waterfall close to the entrance, which is PERFECT for pictures & video filming.

It was on the ground level and easy for guests to walk outside to ge some fresh air instead of being up in a hotel and on a high floor level that would made it a hassel to go outside. Also there were lots of windows and natural outside lighting.
