Absolutely amazing!! Could not have had a better venue
Sky view covered all of our needs from ceremony, reception, catering and DJ. They were easy to work with and everything went very smoothly. Highly recommend them for your wedding!
We hired Skyview for my daughters bridal shower. Linda has always been very sweet but communication was an issue at times. The napkin color was completely wrong (green instead of ...
gold), we didn't get our fruit tray or veggie tray. Individual little veggie glasses were put out on the tables instead before the guests arrived. Tiny tables were used without discussing that with me or the bridesmaids which put our guests way too close when social distancing was very important. The contract only gave options of 120" round or banquet tables. The chicken salad and tuna salad sandwiches weren't out for my guests and were only put out after I asked about it. My guests had already eaten. Coffee wasn't ready for my guests and took an hour before it was. I was given $100, a bottle of wine and an apology letter but I just cannot recommend them. No reply to my email expressing my displeasure. I had to pay for 40 people even though we only had 25. I knew that going in and would have been okay with it if I wasn't so upset about all the mess ups/short cuts.
We were very pleased with our wedding day at sky view lodge! We wanted a indoor reception with an outdoor ceremony. That’s exactly what we got. The view looking out is amazing. Eve...
rything that was set up for the day looked awesome and the ladies that work there were really great to work with. If I had a question or concern I could contact Linda and she would get it fixed or help me figure it out. The place is also great if you aren’t trying to spend lots of cash on your day. Everything is very customizable and they will definitely work with you on things. The reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 was because of the gravel they have outside leading up to the gazebo..(I wish it was all grass) it just looks a little weird. On the day of our wedding, some things weren’t exactly placed in the right spot (it was fixable) but I know we had talked about certain things. And lastly, if all our guests (200, almost 150 came) had rsvp’d yes to the day, there was no way they would all fit in there. So something to consider if you’re having a bigger wedding. Overall, we had a fabulous day and were glad this is where it was!
The dj we hired through the venue messed up the names even after we rehearsed them the day before and he wrote them down. The one coordinator was extremely rude. Linda was very hel...
pful, the bartenders were amazing, and the venue itself was beautiful.
This venue fit our needs perfectly! Staff was wonderful from day one. Jessica and Linda went above and beyond!! Thank you ladies for such a beautiful reception!
My day was perfect! They may be hard to get ahold of beforehand but day of they are so helpful! I still get complements on how pretty the venue was.
My parents and I visited this location as a potential place to have my wedding. I was completely unimpressed. I had to wait awhile before anyone greeted me and I even had an appoin...
tment. There were flies all over the place. The woman I met with didn't get the hint to stop talking. It was the first meeting and she went into a ton of detail about stuff that wasn't important at the first meeting. The parking lot is dirt and gravel and this place also rents U-Hauls so that is one of the first thigs you see when you arrive. I would not recommend this place at all.
We couldnt have asked for such an awesome day, the weather held out, the sun came out when we said our vows. The view was amazing!!! Excellent food!!! Our guests had a blast!
The venue was wonderful to work with. It was a one-stop-shop. The ceremony and reception was on sight; they have a DJ availble; different options for food and alcohol; and we had...
a wedding coordinator. Everyong was accommadating and very helpful.
They did amazing job with everything and the view in our pictures is just wonderful.
The one girl helped walk our little ring bearer and flower down the aisle then came back up t...
o help with me dress going down the stairs.
I told them how I visioned the reception to look and they made it come true- better than I could ever dreamed of!
The food was delicious- all of it- from the appetizers to the main meal to the dessert trays- all wonderful!
The staff was very nice to work with- they were all just amazing!
Skyview Lodge is where both my wedding and reception were located, and I couldn't have asked for more personal service! Linda was there with the groom and I every step of the way, ...
making sure we knew exactly what we needed to be doing and when. The food was fabulous, their champagne sangria is amazing, and the view over the valley of trees is nothing short of spectacular! For the ceremony venue, reception venue, food, beer, wine, and table linens, it cost us under $6,000! It's hard to find a better deal than that in the area!
Linda (manager) was very nice and helpful! From the beginning, I felt very comfortable working with her. I wish we could have been able to afford having both the ceremony and recep...
tion at the same place. But even after having to change to just the ceremony, she was just as helpful and even suggested DJs to contact for our reception!
The only downside is that it usually took a few days for her to e-mail us back or return a phone call.
After looking at a few places for our "casual" fall wedding, we came across Skyview Lodge and fell in love! The view is beautiful, the staff (all family) is friendly and you can't...
beat the cost. They take care of everything for you and everything is included. You can make it as extravigant (costly) or as casual (less expensive) as your taste and budget allow. Though they are a bit slow at returning emails and phone calls (not reccomended for those bridezillas out there) I couldn't be happier that we chose to get married there. The Dj was great and kept everyone on the dance floor late into the night. The food was DELICIOUS!! Sooo good, everyone loved it!! Again, we couldn't be happier with our choice!
The view was nice;To make sure to take a low head count, because you don't get to take the extra food and 25 guests didn't show, and that's a lot at $27/head.
