Sleepy Ridge Weddings

We absolutely loved out venue, it was beautiful. The one problem was the host that was helping with the wedding. Luckily I, the bride, didn't have any issues with her because my mother and sister handled it but she was extremely rude. My mother asked her if someone could sweep the isle because there was left over flower petals from another wedding and leaves/dirt. She refused. So my mom had to hand pick them up. My mother also asked if they had any extra greenery to put on the fireplace mantel because it looked bare and the host refused. Luckily a host from the upstairs wedding overheard and helped us out. Also, we asked multiple times if the wedding upstairs could turn down the music while my ceremony happened outside and the hosts said they would ask them and they never did so the music is over powering my wedding video. Im thankful that my family helped with her attitude so it didn't put a damper on my wedding day.

Great location! We LOVED being able to do our bridal shots on the property before the wedding, the view is amazing. Great price for our lunchtime reception. Can’t think of any complaints, we had a great time.

Sleepy ridge was a beautiful place to have our wedding. I was super upset that the teenager in charge of helping us was never around and did not even know what she was doing. It was super horrible. She didn’t have the tables out, we were told she would help the evening go along. That did not happen, it was another thing to add to our to do list.

Leaves a lot to be desired! They gave us money back afterwards, it was THAT bad! We certainly didn't expect everything to be perfect, but everything that went wrong were things that could have been avoided had there been good communication and had their staff made themselves available. Guest chairs were filthy and needed a good cleaning. I offered to clean them off myself if some wet towels were provided, but the hostess got busy talking with our photographer instead. Needless to say, the seating alone was embarrassing to us. The AUX cable crapped out DURING THE CEREMONY! The table/seating layout got messed up, yet was avoidable had communication been there. Our hostess was young, inexperienced, and extremely passive. She spent a good amount of the evening hiding away at the reception desk on her phone and people from our wedding party would have to go find her if something was needed. The 'packages' are rather confusing and seem to only make sense to them, not the bride and groom while planning, and a we had to seek a TON of clarification, especially when it came to the linens. Communication is poor and their staff seems to either be overwhelmed with the workload, or simply doesn't have their act together. For the cost of using their venue and amount of weddings they book, they could, and should be doing a better job to ensure people get what they pay for. They should also be maintaining their equipment at the least, upgrading as needed. We hope this review will be helpful to Sleepy Ridge staff, and especially to other couples who are considering Sleepy Ridge as their wedding venue.

Our wedding was absolutely incredible. We loved everything about the ambiance and beauty of this place. We are so happy that we chose this beautiful venue! Judy and Nannette were great!

Sleepy Ridge is hands down the BEST place to have an in door, Utah reception with a beautiful outdoor scenery. There is nothing else like it! I am from California and it was initially difficult for me to a wedding from out of state but once we found sleepy ridge everything changed. Their staff is visionary, they include just about everything you can imagine in the packages they offer. We used State Street catering for our wedding. Their kitchen is actually at the same location as sleepy ridge so everything was fresh and warm! We had the wedding coordinator, Nanette do our flowers and it was SO easy since she was helping to plan the rest of our reception. Their prices really are very reasonable. My mom and I compared how much it would cost if we provided the table cloths and the food and we came up with just about the same prices that Sleepy Ridge costs. Besides getting married in the LDS Temple this was the best decision for our big day!

We had our wedding and ceremony in the garden room. Ceremony was out side. It was absolutely beautiful!! It felt so romantic and the views and lights were perfect. We had Nannete do our flowers.. They were gorgeous.. Exactly what I wanted.. BUT it was all most impossible to get ahold of her with all the questions I had for my big day. I sent her lots of pictures to make sure she knew what I wanted. Having her not answer my questions caused major stress right before the wedding. The day of cordinator was no help. Didn't help the night go smoothly.. Luckily I had my 6 bridesmaids to helped with all the decor and communicate with all the vendors and of course me while she was at the front desk on her phone.

My husband and I had our reception here in May, and it was beautiful! The building itself is beautiful and so is the scenery! I couldn't have asked for anything better! I think what I appreciated the most though was I didn't feel pressured to buy anything we didn't need aka decorations, table settings. And the place is so gorgeous you hardly have to decorate it anyhow, I did however get my boquet through them and if was beautiful. Great experience, I'd do it again in a heart beat!

This is such a beautiful location! The view is amazing and the Sunset Room (on the third floor) is decorated so beautifully that you do not need to add much decoration. The fireplace also makes a great backdrop when you are saying your vows and the piano is a great spot for photos. The biggest disappointment is that there is no groom's room. This meant the groom and his men had to use the bathroom to change.

Sleepy Ridge was the most beautiful place to get married! The area is great! We were told there have been mosquitos there in the summer, but they sprayed for them the day of my wedding and I never noticed any the whole night. We loved the people there and they made our day so special. The decorations turned out beautiful and the service was great. I would definitely recommend it!!

Sleepy ridge was a great place to get married, everything was set up exactly how I imagined & the service was good. I do feel that the price just to rent the venue is a little much, but I guess that's kinda the name of the game. All in all I would recommend sleepy ridge to anyone looking for a venue.

My husband and I chose this venue because of it's beauty. This golf course has an absolutely gorgeous clubhouse. We ended up getting married in The Sunset Room, which is a level 3 room which overlooks the course. The room is perfect for a wedding or event and it is very clean and well taken care of. There is a baby grand in the room along with multiple topiaries, making the room full and warm. We had many issues with the wedding planner which we had to work with through Sleepy Ridge. She appeared to have so much on her plate that she couldn't keep up with our needs. And I do have to say that we both are pretty easy going, it's not like we were groom/bridezilla that you see on the movies or anything... We did, however, have multiple changes to our wedding setup (as most weddings would) and we had to email her multiple times to get our point across, and even then, we had miscommunication or no communication at all! On our actual wedding day, some of the arrangements which the planner and her team should have put together, such as tables, chairs, etc (things that we had discussed via email and in person) were not quite right (too many tables, not the right size... etc). We were happy with the outcome of our wedding but if given the chance to start over, we would DEFINITELY pick a different venue.

Sleepy Ridge was my first choice for my wedding. No question. It's so beautiful! Inside and out. I had bridals taken there and when people saw them, they seriously thought we were at a castle. The wedding coordinator is so great to work with, she'll do as little or as much as you need her to. She's amazing. Sleepy Ridge is the must have venue!

This building was absolutely stunning! I loved the look of the outside patio, and the beautiful mountains as a background. The only issue that I had was with the florist that they had at there was very professional before the wedding, we had everything planned perfectly, and when the day finally came there was a few things that were not put up until the reception. My brother had to move some bucket out of the gazebo while I was walking down the aisle.. It was interesting. The day of I didn't care. But looking back I wish they would have been set up and ready to go at 4pm AS PROMISED! When I got there at 345 nothing was set up, and my ceremony started just after 4. We had guests arriving while the event staff was still setting up.. It was a little awkward.
