Jamie and Andy came highly recommended to us from our wedding planner, and my husband and I knew from the first email that they would be our people. Jamie and Andy bring so much love, joy, energy and talent to their planning process and their couple's wedding day that you feel like you have been best friends with them for your whole life. The part of the process I appreciated the most is that they TRULY care about getting to know their couples leading up to the wedding day so that they can tailor their art to what you want to get out of your wedding video. You are not going to get a standard / out-of-the-box video from them, because they put their heart and soul into creating a masterpiece that encapsulates their couples personalities and love stories. On top of the incredible amount of prep work they do, they fit right in with our entire wedding party which made our whole day run with ease. We had the flexibility to just do what we needed to do and TRULY enjoy our day because they fit in like family. You are not going to find better people to capture your favorite day.

If you are looking for a wedding videographer, look no farther! Slye Films is it. Slye Films was recommended by our wedding planner and instantly fell in love with Andy and Jamie's work. (Side note, a close friend used Slye Films for her wedding AND a sorority sister had personal connections to the couple.) So, what was I looking for from a videographer? Honestly, no idea. I remember Jamie asking during our consultation call if I had a preference on music. Nope, just not rock. I gave her adjectives of the wedding's vibe(s) and she took it from there! It was reassuring to have an expert to share recommendations and ideas when you are not 100 percent sure what you should or should not be thinking about. To me, all I wanted was the intimate, hilarious, and the "it" moments to be captured...and Slye Films delivered! I remember watching the teaser Jamie had sent me a few weeks after the wedding and I immediately started crying. I shared it with my immediate family and sent Jamie all the screenshots of my family crying, too. :) Once I got the full length video, I think I watched it 100+ times. As for working with Jamie and Andy, they are the most down-to-earth, genuine, and caring couple you will meet! They are fantastic at what they do. Plus, they are incredibly responsive to emails and phone calls. On our consultation call (many months out), Jamie mentioned she would not be able to attend but she had a fantastic, experienced videographer who was at the wedding with Andy. Hayden was also so kind and knowledgeable that I had no worries. Also, you barely notice that they are present capturing the greatest moments. Truly, I could not have asked for a better videographer! Brayden and I don’t love being in front of the camera lens, but Jamie and Andy made it easy and comfortable. They were so sweet our whole wedding day! We absolutely loved working with Jaimie and Andy. While we were nervous about cameras being around us so much on our big day, Jamie and Andy made us feel so comfortable and made getting some amazing footage fun. I cried my eyes out when our film came in, they did an incredible job capturing our special day!

My wife and I hired Slye Films as our wedding videographer and we are beyond happy that we made this decision. Jamie and Andy Slye are everything you could want in a wedding vendor. They are down-to-Earth, flexible, professional, and deliver a high-quality product in a timely manner. We met with a few potential videographers, but once we met with Slye, there was no need to meet with anyone else. Their website says their dynamic as a couple sets clients at ease. This is absolutely spot-on. Their personality, passion, and attitude made us comfortable with them from the start and made the entire process more fun and enjoyable. Our check-ins throughout the planning process included more than simply conversations about the film itself and logistics. Jamie and Andy would also ask questions about our jobs, pets, interests, how we met, etc. They really got to know us over the past year and a half, and – as the brilliant storytellers they are – incorporated our personality, style and aspects of our story throughout the film. The footage we wanted was nontraditional as we were more interested in raw footage than the stylized trailer, in which Slye specializes. Without hesitation, they honored our request and put together a custom package, which made us confident we were spending money on what we truly wanted. In the end, we now have a beautifully-made long-form documentary style film and significant raw footage that captures all of the highlights, emotions, and memories from our wedding day. Jamie and Andy are two of the kindest people you will ever meet and added so much additional joy to wedding planning. We could not recommend them more and are so excited to watch their business and young family grow for years to come.

We cannot say how grateful we are that we hired the Slye Films dynamic duo. They came highly recommended from our photographer, and they were one of the first vendors we contacted. After our first call with them, we realized we had to have them with us on our wedding day. Andy and Jamie are salt-of-the-earth people, who listen well and know how to shine a light on what makes each couple unique. A videographer isn't just someone with a camera who follows you around on your wedding day - they are with you during some of the most intimate moments. You won't regret booking this brilliant, lovable duo. We gave these cool cats full creative liberty with our film, and it's our most loved keepsake from our wedding day (our whole family teared up watching it). They're somehow this perfect mix of on-top-of-it and laid back — what wedding day dreams are made of. And just when we thought they couldn't get any better, Jamie swooped in and saved us last-minute when we didn't have an officiant. We had been on a goose-chase for some time trying to secure someone, but we aren't religious folk and we just couldn't imagine hiring a stranger. When I confessed we hadn't found anyone, she OFFERED HERSELF up to do the job! I knew she was a talented writer AND she had gotten to know us by this point, AND I knew she respected the unconventional style of wedding we wanted to have — a more perfect solution couldn't have fallen into our laps. What she wrote and read for our ceremony was thoughtful, hilarious, and packed full of the best details of our story. Your wedding day is only as good as those you surround yourself with, and we can't thank them enough for the good energy they brought to every interaction. Anyway, we hired videographers for a one-day event but left with life-long friends. We love ya, we really love ya.

We honestly can’t review Jamie and Andy highly enough. Starting with wedding planning, we were a postponed 2020 wedding in which we had to replace a lot of our vendors. Jamie immediately came to our rescue and recommended multiple of our other incredible vendors and even helped us out during when our venue cancelled on us. They met with us via Zoom a few times leading up to the wedding day and got to know us, made sure we were comfortable, and were very upfront and clear about their process. On the day of the wedding, Jamie and Andy went way above and beyond to help us out and make our wedding day perfect. Jamie even brought gorgeous dahlias from her own garden for our details photos/video (this girl literally does it all)! This was our first time meeting in person, but they both have the gift of making people feel like they had known them both for years. It honestly felt like two extra members of our family were there with us. They made us both feel so comfortable in front of the camera, even though we had never done anything like that before. They kept the mood energetic and fun for our whole wedding party, and even gave me (the bride) a ride to our photo location when our party bus cancelled on us last minute. Now to the actual videography- oh my God. I have honestly never seen anything like it. We got the highlight/ 10 minute video as well as the full length documentary, since we had a Catholic mass that was longer we wanted to have a keepsake of. We knew it was going to be amazing just based on their past videos, but we couldn’t have imagined just how incredible it was going to be to see all the details of our day, hear each other read our letters again, and see the joy on everyones faces. Everyone in our family was tearing up when we watched it for the first time. I still get emotional when I watch it! It is cinematic quality video editing. The music was perfect for the vibe of our wedding. We have watched the 10 minute video so many times now and will enjoy watching the full length doc together on our anniversary! We could not be happier with the outcome and love that we will have these moments recorded forever to look back on. I am so so happy that we decided to choose them as our videographers. It is 100% the best decision we made surrounding the entire wedding. Hire these people! :) You won’t regret it.

Jamie and Andy filmed our wedding in August 2021, and all I can say is WOW! They are so talented and very passionate about their work. They captured every moment so perfectly. We booked Jamie and Andy for videography services for our wedding in September 2021. We had pretty high expectations from looking at their past work, but our final films completely blew us away! From our very first meeting with them they took the time to get to know us as a couple, the videography styles we liked, and our taste in music. With how much effort they put into prepping for our day, we felt so comfortable putting our wedding memories in their hands, and oh man did they deliver. On the day of the wedding they were on time, full of hype and enthusiasm, and worked so well with our other wedding vendors. Wow, where to even start!! Five stars is not nearly enough to accurately rate the unbelievable experience we had with Andy and Jamie. The Slyes filmed our wedding in October of 2021 and went above and beyond for us. We, like many couples, originally planned to get married in 2020 but were forced to push our plans our a year as a result of COVID. Andy & Jamie were so understanding and helpful, working with us to figure out our new schedule as our ceremony and reception times changed, and keeping in touch with us throughout our long engagement, constantly letting us know how excited they were for us as we waited for our wedding day to slowly approach! Our wedding video was nothing short of perfect. They completely took the lead by getting to know us, picking out the perfect music and moments in speeches, and constantly adapting throughout the day. They seemed to capture the sweetest moments we didn't even remember happening. We also greatly appreciated how quickly they worked despite an insanely busy Fall and Winter wedding schedule - our sneak peak came within a week of the wedding, allowing us to reminisce and relive the day almost immediately. Outside of being incredible videographers with an eye for detail and beautiful shots, they are so caring, kind, and relatable - when we were finally together on our wedding day it felt like we had been friends for years. Their warmth makes you immediately feel completely comfortable with them, and as a result we saw our truest selves come across in the wedding video they created for us - absolutely perfect and natural. Where do I begin. I will say this over and over again until I’m blue in the face; Jamie and Andy were the best decision we made for our wedding. They are so fun, energetic, and creative. We aren’t sure where to begin because our videographers left us speechless. We were so happy that we decided to go with Jamie and Andy. From the very beginning they were very helpful. We met and got to know one another and it instantly felt like we made friends with them! They are so easy to talk to and work with through the entire process. On the day of the wedding, they also helped us keep to our schedule by taking the lead! Our air stopped working at the hotel room where the ladies were getting ready and Jamie brought us another fan before she was even scheduled to be there! When we arrived to the reception, our photographer wasn’t there yet, but we had a small video before introductions and they took full advantage of this time leaving us with some of our favorite moments from the big day. Their positivity and their love for love makes the day stress-free and enjoyable. I can honestly say that these two were lifesavers and I hope they know that. We love our videos - the teaser, the ceremony, the documentary and the highlight! The quality of the video and the music brings you right back to the wedding day. We get emotional every time we watch the videos and we are so grateful that we have something so special to cherish forever. There is no doubt in our minds that this was the best choice we could have made and every penny was worth it. Lastly, my grandmother battled pancreatic cancer and fought for one goal - to get to our wedding. I’m so happy to say she made it to that goal and she and my grandfather had their final dance during the anniversary dance. There were a lot of tears during this dance, but I never thought I would be looking over and seeing our videographer, Jamie, crying with us. They both were emotionally connected to our big day and they were able to capture the moments that were the most important to us for this reason. We could go on and on about how wonderful they both were, but I’ll save you the time… choose Slye Films! You won’t regret it!

Andy and Jamie filmed our October 2020 wedding and it was the greatest decision we could have made...PERIOD. We used Slye Films for our 10/03 (covid) wedding! To say that we are so lucky we got to work with Jamie and Andy would be an understatement. They are the BEST! We had a long day and they came even a little earlier than scheduled- which was perfect, because they were able to get even more footage!
