se as well as the smoke grilled preparation and presentation was awe-inspiring. From the beginning we could tell that Sally Huntington was no ordinary caterer. She went far out to her way to accommodate our budget, took our wishes into account at every turn and made wonderful suggestions on the meal choices. In the end, it was truly all about satisfying us and our gathering of 130 family members and friends, every one of whom are still raving about the food and service a month later. Having done past events at the location (The Overbrook House near Cape Cod, MA) Sally and her group were able to aid in logistics and even helped with the set up of the chairs for the ceremony and in the reception tent to ensure that the day ran smoothly. Sally is largely responsible for the “success” of the evening. She absolutely knows her stuff and her positive attitude is infectious. Her team was truly wonderful and we couldn’t have asked for anything more. We cannot say enough about how much we appreciate having someone like her involved and consider her to be a part of our extended family. Smoke & Pickles uses only the best, locally-sourced foods and provides the absolute highest possible level of service with true genuine feeling. Top that off with their uncanny ability to make every event feel as unique as the participants and it’s easy to see why we would recommend them to anyone who needs catering for any event! ly! This was the single-best decision we made for our wedding. From Day 1, Sally was attentive, sharp and an incredibly hard-worker. She completely understood my vision and offered ideas and solutions that fit within our style and our budget. Although she is way more than a caterer, I’ll start with the menu – she listened to what we loved and offered unique and fun options that our guests raved about, especially the lobster roll bar during the cocktail hour and the brisket at dinner and all the native vegetables. My only regret is not eating more! Sally’s team was incredible – again, way more than just caterers. They went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed (including changing the toilet paper in the bathroom trailers when the attendants seem to have disappeared!). Rather than ordering two sets of chairs, her team moved the ceremony chairs to the reception area immediately following the ceremony. Sally herself had six chairs at a time. They will hustle for you and make sure everything turns out just as you want it. Sally also knows everyone in the business so she served as way more than a caterter – she was also our coordinator for nearly everything. She managed our table rentals and gave vendor recommendations based on our style and budget. Sally asked our budget and worked within that to give us the most incredible wedding we could imagine. She even helped us find decorations by sorting through old furniture at her own house and at my husband’s parents’ house (where we had the ceremony and reception). When the chair rentals were wrong, she worked directly with the vendor to swap them within 12 hours. She oversaw everything and made sure that I wasn’t even aware of the snafus that arose. She has a calming affect that makes any bride feel at ease during a very hectic time!
