Smokey's Longhorn Catering

Food was delicious, received many compliments from our guests but the best was from our photographer who has literally been to hundreds of weddings. He said it wasn’t the normal “wedding food” of a stuffed piece of meat, potatoes and veggie side. It was great to give people options, and Smokey’s even worked with me, the bride, being lactose intolerant by putting salad toppings on the side. Becky handled our event and she made sure all of the tables were arranged per our discussions during the earlier walk-through. She helped add the special touches: frosting color to match the wedding colors, used frames I had purchased for displaying appetizers, etc. All around the service was great and everyone was very helpful. They were in and out quickly and the switch from cocktail hour to dinner service was seamless. The only reason I did not give a higher rating for value was that we felt $8,500 was a lot to pay for what was essentially a fancy BBQ and were a little off-put when they felt the need to mention that gratiuty was not included in the price. But other than that, the food was great.
