Owners Gary and Peggy Croucher and their talented culinary team offer a tantalizing selection of options for you to choose from craft your dream celebration menu. Providing everything from award-winning smoked BBQ, Italian, Mexican and traditional American cuisine to classic tiered wedding cakes, their passion for their work shines through in every bite.
Gary awoke one morning in 2008 to discover that the restaurant he had spent years creating had burned down overnight. He had a list of upcoming private events he was supposed to be catering for and he knew that he could not disappoint his clients. With the help of his friends and his wife Peggy, he started a new kitchen with the sole purpose of providing catering services. Since then, Gary and his team have turned a crisis into an opportunity and have built a reputation for providing exceptional dishes and above-and-beyond service. With your vision in mind, they are ready to craft an incredible feast prepared using the freshest ingredients and the highest quality smoker meats.
Whether you are hosting an intimate rehearsal dinner or an extravagant reception, Smokin G's Catering will make every moment taste amazing. The guy was super nice on the phone when I first talked to him about catering my wedding. He said that he would get an order form filled out for ...
me so that he would know what we were wanting. He then said that the deposit was $200. I paid the 200$ and was super excited! I even was telling all my friends that his food was super good that I had tried at a wedding expo and was just giving him glowing reviews with all that asked me who was catering our wedding! After sending said deposit I got silence...crickets from him. I called and called and texted him multiple times to check in and see if we were still good for my wedding. I finally got an answer from him on a Tuesday a MONTH before my wedding and he had said that he was having a couple family health problems and so on and that July was just not a great month (my wedding is in September) and that he might have another thing going on the day of my wedding so he needed to check with that first to see what he was doing that day. He took my name and number (like I hadn't talked to him before) and that he would make an order form for me (which he already said he did). I have tried since then to call and call and text him to check in again and nothing. I completely understand family health problems but ignoring your clients is absolutely unacceptable. He stole $200 from me and my fiancee and is just a horrible business owner if you can even call him that.
I also told my venue lady what was going on with catering since I had asked her for different businesses that she knew of and she had his card from a different event that they both were at. She was very upset for me and said that she will be telling all her clients from now on not to do business with him and that she will never let him do business at her establishment either.
I really hope that he feels good that he's a grown man stealing money from a young couple with a little one. Sadly I can't give 0 stars...

Things took a really bad turn when Peggy, Gary’s wife and co owner of the business told us Sunday evening (6 days before our wedding) that she didn’t have down our cake order that I had screenshots of our conversation. She did make it happen but was not at all apologetic and even blamed me for not checking in with her about it. The food tasted really great and the cake tasted good. I know Gary worked on all the food and did a great job with the barbecue. Gary told us he would leave leftovers for us and then none was left. Overall, I would save yourself the panic of working with a disorganized company like this and upgrade to a better caterer for your wedding. The drama is not worth the food quality ladies!
