Amber and her team were wonderful to work with. I did my trial 6 months before my wedding. She and her team used my inspiration pictures and personal preferences to create a look that made me feel beautiful on my wedding day. On the morning of my wedding, Amber and her team came to my venue. They had given me a predetermined schedule which helped keep us all on time. They had noted and photos from my trial and were prepared. They were able to adjust any changes I wanted to make in the moment. The team was kind and friendly. Loved working with them all!

I got married in June of 2023 and Amber was absolutely awesome to coordinate with. She’s easy to work with, transparent about prices, responsive, and nice. While she didn’t actually do my hair or makeup, her team did and it came out looking great. All my bridesmaids looked great, too. We had an especially good experience with Sarah doing hair. Would highly recommend this vendor for reasonable pricing, willingness to travel, and an overall positive experience and beauty outcome on the big day!

So happy I chose Smudge Makeup for hair and makeup services for my wedding. I would recommend a hair and makeup trial. It makes the day of wedding morning run smoother and made me less anxious because I already knew what we were doing. My bridesmaids had nothing but positive experiences with their hair and makeup the morning of the wedding and were even given so great tips to help with their daily makeup routine. My hair and makeup came out great and helped make me feel like a beautiful bride for my wedding!

Ann Marie did an excellent job with our entire wedding party. She was patient with one of us who was not used to wearing make up, but wanted to look glam for the day. She added a nice chill “can-do” energy to our day, and expertly made each of us look and feel great. She was easy to talk to and easy to communicate our make up vision with. Overall booking with smudge was fairly easy, however I would recommend contacting them at least > 6 months before your day.

Grace performed my makeup and Sarah completed my hair for my wedding day and what amazing work done by the both of them! Smudge was a great company to work with, especially where my bridal party is not used to wearing full makeup. Everyone loved how light and airy Grace's technique was and as for our hair, everyone's held for the whole day without issue. Highly recommend!

Smudge makeup did an incredible job with hair and makeup! They were able to stick to the schedule and keep things on time which is so important the morning of. They encouraged our inspiration pictures and were able to replicate them well but also add their own little twist! They were extremely friendly and were fun to have around the morning of our wedding!

Lidia from Smudge did an absolutely amazing job on my bridal hair and makeup! She worked with me to produce a look that was based off of pinterest photos I liked while also tailoring it to my own complexion, hair color and length, and aspects that would best highlight my features. She made everything look natural yet so put-together and polished and I absolutely LOVE the way the look turned out in photos. Amber and Lidia were also so helpful in adding on last-minute makeup for my mom and bridesmaids when I asked (only a week before the big day!). Lidia even helped out one of my bridesmaids with her hair when her updo was falling out. She did a trial run with me several months before to make sure I liked everything, and came to the Airbnb that I was renting with my bridesmaids to do everything there the morning of. I am so impressed with Smudge's professionalism and quality of work (thank you Lidia and Amber!). I highly recommend them for your bridal look!

I had Sarah and Amber for our hair and makeup and they did a fabulous job! They were prompt and did everything so beautifully! I did my trial with them and then ended up changing my mind on a few things and they executed it so perfectly! I would highly recommend using them!!!

Long story short. If you can book with Smudge, do it.  On top of their stellar work (everyone looked and felt stunning) they were the calm in my storm of a morning. Through everything that went wrong, my nerves, my brain glitches, my foot in mouth moments, they were the most wonderful and professional people. They were able to bring a much needed calm and laughter to the morning. From trial to the day of it was easy to trust them implicitly. The memories I made with my flower girl and ring bearer (my nieces) getting their hair done with me and having them watch me get my makeup done will be forever burned in my heart. Their work lasted an entire New England August day and night for an outdoor wedding by a river. Think humidity times one thousand .Their kindness and professionalism was the cherry on top of their impeccable skill, I will forever be greatful this wonderful team agreed to work with me.

Amber and Sarah were amazing!! I loved them during my trial and I loved them even more on my wedding day! They both made me feel so comfortable! I’m not much of a makeup girl but Amber made me feel so beautiful! My hair was everything I could have asked for! I felt amazing the day of my wedding and my hair and make up was a huge success!

Amber and Sarah were great to work with for our wedding! We heard about them through our venue. I did a trial run with them, where they showed me my hair up vs. down for the wedding day and did a natural look for makeup. They are sweet and friendly and really listened to what I liked/disliked when it comes to hair and makeup. They did a great job on the bridesmaids and moms too! Their prices are competitive and overall they did a great job.

Lidia and Megan were so wonderful to work with! My hair and makeup trial put me at such ease (I’m not a hair makeup girl and they make me feel like Myself but amplified). The day of, they were fun and personable but still professional. They were both kind and helpful with my bridesmaids and offered to show them tips and tricks. These girls were such an integral part of our day I can’t thank them enough!!!

Amber, Sarah, and the Smudge team were the best glam squad for me, my bridesmaids, and the moms! We met them at our venue’s vendor expo, and knew right away from talking to them that they’d be a good fit! Amber was quick to respond to all of my questions. She and Sarah (hair) even traveled to my apartment for my hair and makeup trial. I didn’t have the best idea about what I wanted in terms of makeup, but Amber took all of my concerns into consideration and made me look and feel beautiful on my wedding day. Sarah was able to also make the changes I wanted from my trial. I had been super nervous that my hair wouldn’t stay curled for my wedding day, so she came earlier to set my hair and it stayed perfectly. Before the wedding day, Amber sent over a detailed schedule with times for each of the bridesmaids. On wedding day, we had an extra hair stylist (Mary) and makeup artist (blanking on her name). Shoutout to Mary, who helped out my mom when she didn’t like her hair. She had styled it on her own, and Mary offered her the blow dryer and products to touch it up, and actually ended up working on it personally which my mom loved. We had 10 who needed makeup, and 8 who needed hair, plus me as the bride, and it took a little more than 3 hours total to get everyone done! The girls looked gorgeous and the Smudge Team was a pleasure to work with! Great girls with great talents that are able to make changes when needed. Highly recommend!

Amber & team were amazing! From the trial to the wedding day! Their flexibility to travel was super convenient. They were so friendly and accommodating to everyone's requests. I wish I could have them do my hair and makeup every day! 👰🏼‍♀️🤗

I used Smudge for hair and make up service for my December 2021 wedding. I had a large amount of people getting ready (10 bridesmaids, my mother in law, and myself). Even with the large amount of people, Smudge kept us on track, and they finished right on schedule (provided by them on booking). On top of their professionalism, they did an amazing job with both hair and make up. All of the girls looked absolutely beautiful and our make up and hair wore from 10:00 AM to when the Wedding ended at 12:00AM. Everyone showed pictures of what they were looking for and the type of make up they wanted and Smudge deliverd. Everyone left happy and feeling great about themselves. On top of that, they are great girls to work with and are extremely nice and fun! I highly recommend Smudge for any future brides looking for a great service!

Amber is amazing!! Amber and Sarah are both total sweethearts and awesome at what they do. Super responsive and soooo accommodating! My family didn’t believe the schedule could be done, and were worried we wouldn’t get all the girls done in time compared to past experiences they’ve had with other companies. Welp they were wrong, Amber and Sarah got about 10 of us done in a timely manner and we all looked awesome- no stress! I even had a date change very last minute (my fault, wrote in the wrong date) and added a couple girls into the schedule. They know what they’re doing and take away stress- you won’t regret hiring them!

Smudge did a great job for my wedding hair and makeup. They can travel to your for your trial for a fee. Everyone's hair and makeup looked good despite hot and humid weather during the day.
