They were so responsive and answered all of our questions so we can have a beautiful wedding ceremony on the magpie terrace. As you are leading up to your big day, you work with the event coordinator who was super friendly and helpful all the way up to your wedding day, it definitely takes the stress off your plate! Definitely recommend booking with them whether you are looking for a destination wedding or just a beautiful mountain wedding!

ome of our guests who got a discount on rooms, free access to the spa, and easy access to Oktoberfest to make it a wonderful experience for our guests. The venue coordinator, Dustin was responsive and willing to meet with us multiple times. We did feel the buffet-style food and cake was not as good as expected after we did our menu tasting beforehand. Overall, we absolutely loved having our wedding here!

it's just a gorgeous place to get married at. There are some things folks would want to know, i.e. if you get married on-site the food has to be Snowbird's team (however the food is delicious!), as well as the bar / anything bar-related. This all makes sense, but it does create a larger price tag in the long run. If you're okay with that, then no worries - truly including as an FYI. I will also say, the staff is generally very helpful. Everyone at Snowbird was kind - I overall enjoyed working with the wedding coordination staff. We were able to meet several times, via Zoom, in person (i.e. for tastings), and by email, and overall it wasn't too difficult to remotely plan a wedding (we from out-of-state). I would no matter what recommend taking copious notes for your own benefit to document what is being agreed upon and when. I also really appreciated that Snowbird had a list of preferred vendors, because that made finding a photographer and DJ incredibly easy. They were both FANTASTIC, and already knew how to interact with Snowbird's policies / expectations. Overall, we had a pretty amazing experience. I am only holding back on giving a 5th star because it (as you can imagine, getting married at a ski resort) was pretty expensive, and nearly everything must done by Snowbird's team (for better or worse). It makes thrifting / cost-reduction a little trickier, but again, if you are ok with that, it doesn't really matter in the end.

eam come true. Kelly, Amanda & Mike were our points of contact for planning and hotel accommodations. From the moment we first stepped foot on the resort's grounds for our guest Welcome Hike to the final farewell riding the tram back down at the end of the reception, we couldn't have asked for a better team to bring our vision to life. From our first official meeting to begin planning details and tasting the menu, we knew we were in good hands when Kelly pulled out a huge binder which is her "bible" for managing your wedding. Upon finishing the tasting, our daughter and son-in-law said, "WOW, we aren't going to have the normal wedding food." The food was AMAZING. On the wedding day itself, the entire resort truly shone. They orchestrated everything flawlessly, ensuring that every moment flowed seamlessly. They were behind the scenes, making everything run like clockwork. This allowed us, as parents of the bride, to relax and enjoy the celebration without worrying about any logistical hiccups. And we did just that! Thank you so much Snowbird. Our daughter's wedding was a day we will treasure forever.

Magpie Terrace and Golden Cliff for our ceremony and reception, and we could not have been happier with our choice. The venue space and location are gorgeous with breathtaking mountain views and tall pillars, and the size was just right for our wedding which had a guest count of 90 people. There are lots of options for modifying your venue space and menu, many of which I was surprised did not incur additional fees. The food and beverage minimums were reasonable compared to other ski resort venues, and the food quality was out of this world! All my guests were raving about how incredible the food was! For logistics, I worked with Amanda (sales), Dustin (event coordinator), and Craig (lodging coordinator). Likely you will deal with Amanda first upon booking the venue space and she is very communicative. Dustin will be the one who will be coordinating the event prior to and on your wedding day. He is extremely professional, and I felt at ease knowing my wedding day logistics rested in his capable hands. He can sometimes take a little bit to respond to emails, but rest assured he is dedicated to making sure your event goes off without a hitch and he will address all of your inquiries in his thorough responses. I felt well taken care of by all the staff at the Cliff Lodge. Thank you so much to Dustin and all the staff at the Cliff Lodge for making sure we had the best day of our lives!

wedding experience at Snowbird wonderful for both the rehearsal dinner and wedding reception. The chef was excellent and wonderful to work with as well, and of course the food was delicious! I highly recommend Snowbird for anyone’s wedding as it was additionally very convenient for us as a couple and all of our guests, most of which were coming from out of state, to stay at the resort and enjoy the wedding and amenities!

eremony platform with mountain backdrop. The bride’s entrance coming up the chairlift was pretty unique and spectacular. The Snowbird team did a great job with the site up there. We had our cocktail hour and dinner down at the Cliff Lodge. It was very nice having the outdoor terrace area, which added extra space, and let guests enjoy the outdoors with the great mountain views. The food/drink was great, and everything was smooth the entire night. Special thanks to Amanda and Dustin and the rest of the staff, for all their care and attention in making our wedding very memorable.

All brides should be aware that if you get married in the Spring/Summer or Fall you can be ONE OF UP TO FIVE BRIDES PER DAY NOT TO MENTION THE FIVE WEDDINGS THAT THEY CAN HAVE ON FRIDAY AND SUNDAY TOO. All the wedding team cares about is $$ and because we didn't book Snowbird's most expensive package we quickly became their LAST PRIORITY! They lied to us, made false promises, mislead us and the OUTRIGHT refused to work with us to find a solution. Valen Hunter and Christena Buonforte are the most condescending and unfriendly individuals I have ever had the misfortune of working with in my life. They made the entire process so stressful and scary. They took weeks to get back to my emails, if at all, they failed to deliver on deadlines that they SET FOR THEMSELVES. I think that the wedding team is under immense pressure to sell and is understaffed, and as a result the customer service is HORRIBLE. I have spoken to three other brides that got married at Snowbird and ALL of them have had similar experiences. PLEASE DO NOT GET MARRIED HERE. Go up the street to Snowpine Lodge where you will have a much better experience.

doing everything but their job. Apparently, they only have one wedding sales representative to work with and she has been nothing but difficult to get ahold of, horrible customer service, and then delegated her responsibilities to people who can’t answer our questions and help us down the path to GIVE THEM OUR MONEY!! I have lived in Sandy (5 minutes from snowbird) my entire life and have had nothing but enjoyable memories snowboarding up here with family and friends. Snowbird needs to get a handle on their sales department and needs to rethink their wedding planning department altogether. They are missing out on a big opportunity to make money and let alone help people have an enjoyable time during their wedding season.
