Social Events and Design

I worked with Jessica in planning our August wedding and overall our actual wedding day went well and we enjoyed it- and we appreciated her help to make it happen. We did however encounter some frustrations during the planning months and communication process that I felt compelled to review as I am one who personally read reviews during my vendor selection process. As a bride planning a wedding entirely on my own, I was looking forward to having someone with more expertise, guidance and a detail-oriented skillset to help ease my stress a little and while she was helpful in many ways, I found myself at times more stressed than expected when it came to planning the details together. The timeliness of communication via email/phone was reasonable throughout. The venue layout and timeline creation were also very helpful elements she offered and much needed, but the process to make timeline edits together was a bit challenging and lacked some attention to detail. Some confusion between who my vendors were occurred a couple of times as well which again is minor but things I’d expect a planner to manage with ease. I did also hope for more of a partnership-like relationship throughout (something an overwhelmed bride needs in my opinion) and instead felt like it was just a business transaction. All in all, while the planning process wasn’t quite ideal, our wedding day turned out to be an enjoyable moment and we’re appreciative of the help we received from Social.

Best wedding planner ever! She made our day so perfect. Everything I dreamt of and more. If I had to do it all over again, I would do it exactly the same! So thankful to work with Jessica! She is easily an 11/10 Would recommend!

Jessica is absolutely amazing! She helped us through so many details of our wedding and truly brought our vision to life. She was available to chat whenever we needed her and she is so organized! She kept us on track with planning but also didn’t make us feel pressured. We had a situation where our band fell through the month before our wedding. She helped us find a replacement and she got everything set up with the new band super quick!! We appreciate all she did for us!

We used Social Events and Design for our November 2021 wedding. Jessica made our intimate outdoor wedding a wonderful experience. She was so helpful from the moment we hired her to the moment we drove off to our honeymoon. Very professional and personable! Not to mention she had a great eye for helping with arrangements and decor details! I would 100% recommend to anyone planning their wedding.

I just finished up an event working with Social Events And Design. I've worked with many event planners in my career but Social Events and Design was by far my favorite to work with. Jessica is very accommodating and made sure everything was perfect for everyone involved. She truly cares and it shows. If you're wanting someone to make you a priority and someone that will actually take time and listen to your specific requests, Jessica's your girl. Trust me, I don't recommend many people, but I would definitely recommend going with Jessica for any event planning needs.

Jessica with Social Events kept me calm and organized leading up to the wedding and swiftly handled the problems that came up day-of without me even knowing about them. It was such a relief to know she was there for us and I also truly enjoyed her company! I can’t imagine having done this with anyone else by my side and am so happy to have worked with Jessica.

It is hard to put this in few words but Jessica pulled off the impossible with helping organize and plan our wedding, all while we were out of state. There were so many things that I didn’t even think of that she did and had it not been for her we really wouldn’t have had such an amazing wedding. She was able to work around our busy schedule, checked in if we haven’t to make sure we were where we should be, helped find and communicate with vendors. We truly could not have done it without her and the best day of my life wouldn’t exist without her!

Saying that Jessica at Social is an absolute gem of a find for a wedding planner is an understatement. Honestly, if you are still looking, you should probably stop right now and give her a call. (Take it from the girl who initially was sure she didn't need a planner.) Once we started working together we quickly began noticing that Jessica not only kept up with all of our ideas, but she added her own creative ideas and helpful thoughts at every turn. She is responsive, has incredible attention to detail, is incredibly well connected in the wedding industry community, and was truly "there for us" throughout the entire planning process. We chose a venue where every detail had to be brought in and coordinated. Jessica took all of this in stride, and managed to be there for our every question, and most importantly remind us to have fun with all of it. Our wedding was such a wonderful day, and it would not have been nearly the same without her.

I worked with Jessica from Social Events and had an incredible experience! She quickly understood the design we were looking for and took off from there. She curated everything for us so we were never overwhelmed with options. Wedding planning with her was so easy, it was actually a ton of fun. The day of the wedding, we didn't have to worry about a thing. Her staff was very professional and well prepared. We had such a stress free, beautiful wedding! Not only is she insanely talented, but she's just awesome to be around! I cannot recommend Jessica enough.

I can not speak highly enough of Jessica from Social Events and Design. From beginning to end, Jessica went above and beyond in helping us plan our perfect wedding. Jessica was always available, more than willing to help provide recommendations, and even assisted with decorating the day of. Jessica worked with our vendors and was able to take that burden off of us and ensured everything went smoothly the day and was genuinely invested in making sure we had the perfect wedding. I also work in the wedding industry and when I did an event with Jessica, I IMMEDIATELY knew I had found my wedding planner. I highly recommend Jessica and her team with Social Events and Design!

Social is seriously amazing! Jessica and her team were wonderful and so helpful throughout the whole process. She is so sweet and thoughtful and simply amazing at what she does. Our wedding day went so smooth and on time! I cannot recommend enough.

I was hesitant to get a planner and thought I had everything under control but I was wrong! She helped me with all the details I didn't think about and you could tell she had all the experience and knew what she was doing. I was able to enjoy my wedding and spend time with my family and guests and didn't have to worry about a thing. Getting Social Events was the best decision I could have made. Everything was amazing and I can't thank Jessica enough!
