es offered, Ionica knows that if she had any business acumen, she should have never in good faith charged me as much as she did for the services rendered. Given the fact that I was a new bride nervous about planning a reception, she should have recommended I purchase a lower priced package instead of her Premium Package based alone on what I had already taken care of at the date of hire. SBD didn't have to source any of my vendors. They also didn't offer to provide any assistance with budget tracking which is supposed to be part of the services rendered in the Premium Package. I was very disappointed with their custom invitation and website design. They designed absolutely nothing. Instead, they searched on Zazzle and present me with designs that have been created by someone else, They never created a wedding website for me and they were not familiar with popular sites such as The Knot, Zola or WiithJoy. No creativity or assistance with this service that they claim to help with. Their wedding dress and attire consultation consists of YOU presenting THEM of dresses you like and them helping you decide. Zero options are presented to you. I could have had my own friends help me pick out a dress rather than waste money and time on them helping me decide what to wear based on ideas I presented. In addition, if you want them to go to a bridal shop to assist you with selecting a wedding dress, that's an additional overpriced fee and that fee is no where listed in their marketing literature. During the stressful and peak time of me finalizing details for my event and as much money as I spent on this company, they insisted on me using my valuable time manually typing my guest list into their preferred spreadsheet instead of typing it themselves OR using what I already created for my venue. Due to the fact that my wonderful coordinator at my venue did way more set up prior to my event than planned, Ionica arrived later than scheduled to begin her set up. They also began to breakdown their design prior to what was contracted. SBD is wonderful at timeline creation. That's about it. They did throw in complimentary charger plates and because I insisted they uphold their "custom design" promise, they ordered lavender ceiling drapery. They presented zero ideas or creativity in the planning process overall. Their rentals are very overpriced and anything they claim as "custom" is simply items they have in their stock as rentals. They never followed up with me to discuss my event either. If you are looking for a organized planner to do a wonderful job managing your timeline and vendor communication, this is the company for you. SBD also has competitive pricing for ceiling drapery. In fact they had the best pricing for drapery. If you are looking for anything more, I would advise you to continue your search for another planner. I 100% regret selecting SBD. This company cost more than my venue itself and my venue did way more than SBD did.
