Soiree Key West created the most beautiful wedding I could of ever dreamed of. Nika helped me throughout the whole planning process, keeping me on track and making sure things went smoothly. I couldn't have asked for a better wedding planner. If it wasn't for Nika we wouldn't of had a wedding so we owe it all to her. 5 stars isn't even enough. Thank you again.

Nika and her team not only made the process leading up to the event easy, but pulled through and turned a disaster into a masterpiece. Hurricane Ian nearly ruined our wedding. Our venue was canceled due to damage two days before and Nika pushed forward and found a brand new venue with the same vision in mind and it was everything I could have dreamed of and more. I am so grateful for this company and the top notch service they provided. I cannot say enough good things.

Nika was outstanding and went above and beyond to make sure our wedding day ran smoothly. Everything was coordinated thoroughly and very detailed. I highly recommend Soirée events. Nika kept calm when chaos was everywhere, just due to the calamity that happens during every wedding day. When we meet with Nika, to go over rehearsal the day before the wedding I knew it was going to go off perfect! My suggestion to other brides, make sure to get a coordinator who will help you and guide you to make decisions you didn’t even know you needed to make so that your day is perfect. Nika Stroble was superb and there are not enough great words to express my and my husbands gratitude that she made our day go off just perfect !

Look no further. I did not know one person had the ability to do what Nika can do. Soiree Events was something more than a planner or event, it felt like a friend/family doing my wedding. We had a wedding where the logistics of a boat, ceremony, and reception were all at different locations and it was pulled off like everything was in one spot. There is so much that goes into a wedding that you think not one person can do, well Nika will be able to do it. Her and her assistant were unbelievable down to every detail. Her knowledge, efficiency, communication, ideas, are top notch. She goes above and beyond......like I said to me she became a friend and I felt like she was a guest of honor at the wedding more than the wedding planner. I talked to other planners before going with Nika but my gut was always with her and when I say we could not do it without her, its more we wouldn't have wanted to do it without her. Simply the best you can find. Thank you.

Nika was able to answer all of our questions about having a Key West wedding! We worked with her for day of planning. In retrospect I wish we had hired here for the full planning experience so she could be with us from the beginning and help us with vendors and share her amazing talents even more! She helped our wedding day run smoothly at sunset key and we were able to just enjoy. Thank you!

Nika is awesome! She was very kind and helpful through the process, she kept us on schedule, and made the day perfect! I even shipped place cards to the wrong address and she went to that address to get them :)

HORRIBLE.... Hired them for my "day of" planner. Unfortunately my "day of" did not happen because of Covid-19. Key West was closed down. This company did absolutely nothing for me but felt entitled to keep 100% of my deposit during a National Pandemic. I found all my own vendors and came to a satisfactory resolution with each and every one of them except these people. Would not even return my emails. Weddings are expensive and stressful enough without a Pandemic. No need for an entitled company to exploit the situation. Actions during adversity show true colors. DO NOT HIRE. There are much better people out there!!!

As our 1 yr anniversary approaches I can’t help but STILL think of the nightmare that was Soiree. I should have written this a yr ago. I’ll preface by saying I had the planning covered but our venue required a day-of coordinator. Katie forgot about our initial phone convo & I had to follow up w/ her to reschedule. That should have been my cue to find someone else, but I signed the contract in Oct for an April wedding. Our next call in Jan “slipped her mind”. 0-2. During that 1/30 convo I mentioned I had some concerns regarding check-in at the hotel to have enough time to get ready, as well as the possibility of reserving an additional night before to avoid a check-in timing issue the day of. She insisted on contacting the hotel - “that’s what we’re here for- to do things like this for you & alleviate stress”. Almost 3 wks went by w/o a follow-up from her. When I reached out to ask on 2/16, she said she put 2 calls in at the hotel & wasn’t getting an answer but would “keep trying”. I let another wk go by but finally couldn’t wait any longer for her to make this phone call; We were now 2 mos out, in a super touristy location. I picked up the phone & handled it myself in a 5 min call. I could have done it 3.5 weeks ago but she insisted. She emailed me on 3/10, 3 wks later & said the hotel told her I already had a room. 1st of all, what does “keep trying” mean? It took me 5 mins. One call. 2nd of all, 3/10?! She told me on 1/30 she would take care of it! When I called on 2/23 they only had 10 rooms left, so thank god I didn’t wait for her. On 4/8, less than 3 wks out I sent her an email asking a bunch of normal wedding questions for various vendors. All things I thought up, not her, because she certainly wasn’t contributing her wedding expertise. She never replied, so I contacted the 4 vendors myself & sent her a follow-up email on 4/19, 8 days out. Her response to that was that she already contacted my vendors. FLAT. OUT. LIE. The day before the wedding @ 3pm she said she’d contact my vendors to let them know my room # for the next day. Shocking- both of them sent me texts that evening asking for it. She reached out to them after they had contacted me. Why did it take her hrs to pass it on? They clearly thought it was getting late if they reached out to me before hearing from her. The icing on the cake- the day of. She showed up looking like she was going to play tennis. The caterers looked much more professional than she did. Her helper was her boyfriend who was wearing shorts & a t-shirt. Unprofessional on so many levels. These are the people in our photos holding the door open as we are walking out to our 1st dance. That’s what we see when we look at our album. She never communicated w/ me on her own- she waited for me to circle back around after letting wks go by. She was 1 more thing to stay on top of during the process. Nothing but a HEADACHE (that I had to pay for). She didn’t think of things for me that I wouldn’t have thought about while planning. She didn’t add 1 thing to the process except setting/ cleaning up (which was nice to not have to worry about). I didn’t use her for much & the questions I asked were small. The tasks she offered to take were normal wedding tasks. The owner, Nika, stepped in on 4/10 to diffuse the situation & was great. It’s a shame she wasn’t w/ me from the get-go, or couldn’t have taken things over from that point fwd. If you get Katie, don’t disregard your initial gut feeling like I did- RUN.

We were so glad we hired Nika last year to help plan our April 2020 destination wedding in Key West. Between busy work schedules and a lot of moving parts with a destination wedding, we truly could not have planned our special day without her. Now, the weekend that was supposed to be our dream wedding is here and we were forced to postpone due to Covid-19. While the situation we are all in and the disappointment of being so close and having to wait are not something we could have ever anticipated, we’re even more glad now that we hired Nika and have had her guidance during this time. We have had the smoothest experience after making the decision last month to postpone. Nika has really taken care of everything and coordinated with all vendors. She has made a less than ideal situation as pleasant as we could have hoped for. We have rescheduled for November 2020 and are optimistic our day will be even more special after waiting longer than expected. Any couples considering a wedding in the Keys during these uncertain times should not hesitate to hire Soiree Key West. We can’t wait to write an updated review after we say I do later this year!

We cannot say enough great things about Nika and the Soiree Key West team! My husband and I are both from New Jersey, and we decided we wanted a destination wedding. We attended a wedding 2 years earlier in Key West for great friends of ours at Ocean Key, and had the most memorable weekend. We knew we couldn’t go wrong choosing Key West for our special day, but we also knew we would need a lot of help to make it happen. Our friends sent us their referrals, and Nika was at the top of their list. Our initial call with Nika is what sold us on hiring her for the job. Nika spent over an hour on the phone with us detailing all of our options, and providing thorough information on the island, venues, hotels, vendors, etc., and she spent that time without a contract signed, or commitment from us. Nika provided so much valuable insight, and didn’t sell us anything or push us in a particular direction. It was clear she didn’t any sort of agenda, and that is the kind of person we wanted to work with. We hired her for full time service, and spent a year and a half planning an elaborate 180 person Old Hollywood Black and White Wedding on the Sunset Pier. We planned a full weekend for our guests which included a Welcome Party, Wedding, and After Party. We combed through the lists of vendors, scheduled meetings and calls, and selected our venue, food, photographer, videographer, florist, band, hair and makeup team, etc. Nika kept us organized with payment due dates and follow ups, and organized a weekend for us to come down to Key West and meet with our vendors, taste cake, take engagement pictures, etc. She was there every step of the way to ensure we checked every box, and had every action item addressed and taken care of. We were even able to ship reception items, bridesmaid/groomsmen gifts, and anything we needed for the wedding directly to her house, and she delivered everything to us when we arrived. Words cannot express how thankful I am for Katie and Nika! After calling many planners, Nika was so down to earth and personable we were completely sold after our phone conversation. Then, Katie took over and I can go on forever about how amazing she is!!! Katie guided me through everything and made me feel so at ease through the whole process. Katie was always available to answer my questions and this was so helpful while trying to plan a destination wedding. The day of, she took care of everything and made being the bride so easy, fun, and worry free. If you want the most perfect day of your life, Katie and Nika are the planners for you!!!!

Nika and Katie were fantastic. I contracted them for the day of wedding service and it was amazing. They provided expert support and I literally did not have to lift a finger or worry about anything on wedding day.

We hired Soiree Key West for full service event planning for our wedding weekend celebration. We hosted three events including a welcome party, wedding ceremony and reception, and farewell brunch. Our wedding was held at Sunset Key Cottages for 75 guests. Planning a large event from afar can be stressful but Nika introduced us to a few local vendors that made our planning experience easy. Most importantly, she recommended Milan Event who is an outstanding floral and decor specialist in Key West. Shout out to Peter and his team at Milan! Nika is a Key West native and it’s clear that she is a well respected professional in the community. Some areas to improve moving forward —communication and organization. Given growing demand for destination weddings in Key West, Nika should consider expanding her team. We did not receive a final wedding itinerary until the week of our wedding and many questions were left unanswered until we arrived in Key West. In addition, we had to arrange our own rain back up plan for our welcome party. Although this was not ideal, each event was seamless from set up to tear down. Key West and island time truly exists and we had difficulty adjusting to this pace coming from Chicago. Nika currently works with one additional planner named Katie. Katie's role was mostly behind the scenes until the month leading up to our wedding. Looking back on our experience, I wish we had more conversations as a team to allow for more transparency. Nika launched a new planning platform (Aisle Planner) while we were planning our wedding but unfortunately we were already in the thick of planning and didn’t have time to learn how to best use this tool. I’m hopeful that this new platform will address some of our concerns for future clients and events. Most of our feedback is due to the growing pains of managing demand and expectations. I’m confident that these issues could be resolved with a larger staff and improved communication tool. All that being said, Nika provided excellent day-of coordination for our wedding weekend. She handled stressful situations (and conversations) with professionalism and kindness. Any misunderstandings or missteps during the planning process were quickly forgotten. In addition, Nika welcomed her home for any deliveries and shipped any remaining items back to Chicago. This was a huge help and allowed us to offer personalization during our wedding weekend. I’m excited to see how this company evolves over time. Key West is a dynamic place to offer a wedding celebration and we look forward to visiting again soon.

I interviewed several companies and just felt so right choosing Nika and her company. She has the perfect approachable yet professional personality needed for this role. Nika knows EVERYONE in the industry in Key West. Nearly every vendor we chose for our wedding commented about how we "were in good hands" or how "Nika will know what to do" and they were not wrong. Katie at Soiree Key West was “The Best Ever” in helping me organize my 60th birthday party. I started planning on my own in January 2018 for an August 2018 party. Sometime in April I realized I was in over my head and a big reason was because I live in NJ. I knew I needed help if I wanted my party to come off as a success. The first time I spoke with Katie I felt a great relief and it was basically smooth sailing from then on. Katie was helpful and efficient in all aspects from recommending vendors to keeping me straight on timelines and deadlines. She had great ideas and even brought things to my attention that I didn’t even know I needed to know. On top of all that Katie is one of the sweetest kindest people you will ever meet. The day of my party came off without a hitch and was a blast. (Honestly the worst thing that happened to me that day was that some of my false eye lashes started falling out.) It was a day and night of just having fun and enjoying my guests. I couldn’t have done it without the help of Soiree Key West and Katie.

After we decided on a destination wedding in the FL keys our next call was to Nika at Soiree Key West! From our inital conversation we were a great match and quickly planned a trip to check out venues. After describing to Nika what we were looking to create she suggested and arranged tours of several venues in our price range during out inital visit. Nika seamlessly arranged our contracts with the resort and all our vendors. Every vendor she suggested was great, her knowledge as a premier wedding planner and a native to KW came in handy on more then one occasion. She was able to create our wedding vision and bring it to life! As one of the first wedding in KW post hurricane Irma in early December, I was nervous. Needless to say Nika kept me calm and pulled everything off perfectly. Not only did we have an amazing wedding evening involving many moving pieces (beach ceremony, sunset cruise and reception) but she helped plan our welcome party and a brunch following the day after. Every detail at each event was exactly as I had pictured it. Soiree Key West and Nika is a must are planning a destination wedding in the FLA keys! We could not be more thankful that we found her!

I'm the type of bride who knew I wanted to have a big day, and had a partial vision, but had no idea what to do to make it happen or be affordable. I sent Nika a message in my first month of being engaged and it was definitely my best step in my wedding planning. She was so friendly, helpful, and approachable right from the start. She had suggestion after suggestion for me and acted quickly anytime a roadblock popped up. She made my wedding planning so stress free and saved me hours of research and a bunch of money. Not to mention that the day of was completely stress free and I had nobody coming to me for last minute problems or questions, she handled everything and I got to fully immerse myself in my wedding day. If you are considering a wedding planner, I would most definitely recommend Soiree Key West.

Where do I even begin. Our wedding was on April 29, 2017 and roughly a year and 4 months before that we had to start thinking about where we would get married and who was going to help us! I found Soiree Key West online (I live in Houston, TX) and sent an email inquiry to them right away. Nika set up at time to speak with me over the phone, and even when she found out that our wedding was more than a year out was willing to meet with us when we visited Key West the following month. From that moment on I knew we absolutely found the right person to help us plan our wedding. She handled every detail for us, kept me on track when I needed to pay a deposit, worked within our budget, made recommendations for what she knew would work best for our venue, booked and was the contact for all the vendors, and when it finally came time for the big day, made sure everything ran smoothly. Planning a destination wedding so far from home could have probably presented several challenges, especially because we wouldn't have been able to have in-person meetings and visualize what the final product was going to look like. Our experience was the complete opposite and I really can't relate to anyone when they say that planning a wedding is stressful. Nika made it the least stressful event ever! We enjoyed every moment of the planning process. I honestly don't know what I would have done without her! We can't thank Nika and her team enough for making our wedding so memorable and truly the most wonderful day of our lives!

My experience with Soiree Key West was, unfortunately, very different than the reviews provided from previous clients. My experience started out great, Nika was informative and communicative. As “busy season” approached, she was largely absent. While her contract says I’d receive my timeline 5 weeks in advance, I only received mine a week before my wedding. By that time, I had already created a far more detailed timeline on my own, since the wedding guests needed the information. My biggest concern, and the reason for this review, is that Nika was extremely negative in the days leading up to my wedding. There was a very high likelihood of rain in the forecast for my outdoor wedding/reception. Instead of being reassuring and positive, Nika repeatedly told me my wedding had to be changed. She gave me very little comfort or reassurance that if it did rain, that she would be responsible for making sure my wedding could still happen. I heard repeatedly that there was a 90% chance of rain and that “people would get wet.” She even asked that I call a tenting company to arrange for a back-up plan on the morning of my wedding. I assumed that this would be part of the day-of services. I am not one to leave a negative review. In fact, this is the only one I’ve ever written but I felt compelled because I was an out of town bride and the process of dealing with Nika the week before my wedding often had me in tears. I wouldn’t want this to happen to someone else. Maybe the stress of busy season got to Nika and she was overwhelmed. Maybe that is why my experience differed so greatly from her other clients. Either way, I was disappointed in the service I received and wish things could have been handled better.

Dear Key West bride to be: first of all, you NEED a coordinator, and second, you NEED Nika and Soiree Key West! I can't say enough great things about her and the huge impact she had on making our wedding day flawless. She's a Key West native, so she knows pretty much everything and has worked with pretty much every other wedding vendor in town. All her recommendations were spot on - listen to her! She went above and beyond to provide gorgeous flowers and decorations - my bouquet was more beautiful than I could have dreamed! The table decorations, with a vintage/travel theme created with her supplies and old library books, also turned out amazing. Nika is incredibly organized and detail oriented - exactly what you need in a coordinator. She even dealt gracefully with my indecisiveness and some last-minute changes I threw her way. Leading up to the wedding and the day of, I was so calm and relaxed, knowing that the details and schedule were in her capable hands. It was a perfect, blissful day! I seriously can't thank her enough!!!

I truly have way too many good things to say about Nika and Soiree Key West! We were planning our entire wedding from Arizona, never having been to Key West, and Nika helped us execute everything perfectly! The entire day was 1000x better than I ever could have imagined and I could never thank her enough! We had a very small, intimate beach wedding, for which she set everything up beautifully! Nika put us in contact with all of the vendors (photographer, cake, officiant, reception restaurant) and did an incredible job on all of our flowers! She truly made the whole process so easy and was so professional throughout (always returning phone calls and immediately). It was absolutely a day to remember, and we have only Soiree Key West to thank for that!

Nika and Debbie were amazing on my wedding day. I hired Nika to help with some of the preparations before the wedding and to be there the day of the wedding. Everything turned out wonderful from the flowers, decorations, gift bags, and desserts. I couldn't have asked for anything more. I would definitely recommend Nika to anyone looking for a wedding planner in Key West. You will not be dissappointed! She is a true professional!

We worked with Soiree for our wedding in Key West. We hired Nika to proide us with design and day of services. The day went beautifully. We had a few minor issues with the caterer, but Nika took care of everything. She also did all of the flower arranging.

Nika worked with me from day one to make sure each detail was just as perfect as I had dreamed. From talking about ideas to putting our ceremony together, she made our experience fun and stress free- something every bride looks for.
