ns were made so my dad could play out those typical father of the bride roles despite his immobility issues. This was the most important thing to me and I know it certainly meant the world to my dad. She was there a couple of hours before our ceremony to set out little things I provided and then she was there to make sure all the vendors arrived and got settled in. This was good because my mom would have had to do this if we did not have our coordinator. I am just so thankful and grateful that someone referred us to her. Having my dad there and him being able to be involved was my most important concern and Laura made this a top priority. Then - our whole wedding went well. She includes setting out a little bit of decor and I had a couple of boxes I simply handed off to her to set out. She was organized down to the minute but at the same time was very personable and warm. She truly seemed to care that my husband and I were happy. I would refer Soiree South to other couples for sure.

d initially promised the bride that she would be the first person to arrive at the venue, and last to leave. Less than a week before the wedding, Bride received a call from Laura being advised that she would not be able to be at the venue until 14:30 due to prior engagements. That's 2.5 hours before the ceremony. 09:00 was the expected arrival time, not 5.5 hours after that. Laura blatantly stated that she was not being paid for those extra hours, so she would not be there. The bride asked Laura to drop off the decorations with her during the rehearsal/run through, but Laura absolutely refused to do so. After hours of arguing, Laura finally agreed to get to the venue as initially promised. No bride should have to deal with this type of stress THAT close to her big day. 2. I was at the venue from 09:00-send off with our other roommate. Laura was no where to be seen while we were setting up the reception room. I found her in the staging/storage area sorting through boxes while me, my roommate, the MOH, a BM, and bride's BIL were setting up the reception. Around 13:00, Laura approached the bride to let her know that she was going to take a break. Taking a break is fine! I worked in the service industry for many years so I know how crucial they are to ensure the day ahead remains productive. But at this point, there wasn't even much that Laura had even accomplished. She said to me that she was going to set up the room, and that she just needed examples of how the centerpieces were to be done, but it ended up being me and the others setting up the entire reception area. 3. Now, to elaborate with issues had during the wedding: the DJ they had hired took on dual roles of both DJ and coordinator. He ensured that guests were where they needed to be at all times. Is this not one of the responsibilities expected out of the coordinator? The DJ should not have had to do that. There were other issues had with other vendors that should have been taken care of by the coordinator, but they were neither rectified or addressed. All issues aside, it was a beautiful and wonderful wedding nonetheless. If you do decide to book Laura as your coordinator, please make sure that each commitment she makes is in writing and in your binding contract. Otherwise, please search elsewhere for a coordinator who does not make empty promises.

Luckily, she was available for our date in busy fall wedding season. Laura was amazing throughout the process. She responded to every email and phone call quickly and was always happy to schedule meetings as I needed. I selected the coordinating service and got so much help all along the way. She was always very friendly, polite and professional. We had a very detailed wedding day timeline that was passed along to our vendors, vendor referrals, good organization at the rehearsal and on the day of my wedding she showed up two hours before our guests were expected to arrive to set up some personal decor we provided and oversee other vendors' set up. My wedding and reception went so well. I didn't have to worry about everyone leaving the venue after our reception because she was the last person to leave and checked out with our strict venue manager to make sure the place looked like it did when we arrived so we could get our deposit back. On the day she worked a total of 11 hours for us and her pricing was very reasonable. This included all of the work before our wedding day ironing out timeline specifics, walk through meetings and our rehearsal. She even brought our decor to the venue and returned it to us after we returned from our honeymoon. I would happily recommend Laura and the Soiree South planners and coordinators to any bride. My college roommate is now working with Soiree South for her spring wedding and I am already hearing good things from them. Thank you Laura for being so awesome!

caterer introduced us to Laura and she was our saving grace! She swooped in, was professional but incredibly warm and despite only working with her for two weeks, we honestly felt like she had been with us along the wedding planning journey the entire time. She was organized and knew the exact questions to ask and what tasks needed to be done within the last two weeks. She jumped right in and would go out of her way to take care of things for us and made sure that every detail was discussed and taken care of. On the wedding day, she was flawless and created a day that went smoothly from start to finish. My family loved working with her and even in a short time, we all simply trusted that Laura knew what she was doing, what our vision was and she ensured that our day was everything we hoped for and more! Wish we had found her even sooner but could not recommend her and Soiree South enough!!
