We had our fall wedding at the Inn Lawn and St. Bernard's restaurant at Solitude and I couldn't be happier with the choice we made to go with this venue. We worked with Phoebe and Dusten and both went above and beyond to make our day calm and beautiful. We got so many compliments from friends and family about how smooth the day went! All the staff at Solitude were so kind and really helped make the weekend celebratory and fun. The food was AMAZING and we loved the cozy vibes with the fireplaces going. If you're planning a wedding with a smaller guest count (we ended up with about 57 people total!) St. Bernard's at the Inn is absolutely a great choice. We felt like it was very decently priced and we got exactly what we wanted out of the day :)

Our August wedding at Solitude was wonderful. Our guests loved staying in the village, taking scenic chairlift rides, hiking and mountain biking. We hosted a welcome picnic on the village green with pizza from Stone Haus on Friday, then held our ceremony and reception at Roundhouse on Saturday. Our coordinator, Emily, did a fantastic job getting all of our vendors up the mountain in pouring rain. She also communicated with us to make sure the wedding party could take the chairlift up between thunderstorms, then shuttled all of our guests to Roundhouse while the lift was on lightning hold. Right as the rain stopped, the Solitude team quickly wiped down chairs so we could host our ceremony outside, as planned. It was magical. Everyone who worked at Solitude was kind and accommodating to our guests. We also found them organized and transparent about cost throughout the planning process. We are so happy that we chose Solitude for our wedding and highly recommend it as a venue.

Sarah and the Solitude Mountain staff were phenomenal to work with! Sarah, our venue coordinator, took care of all of the planning details - including layout, tables, vendor support, dinnerware, food, & drinks. Our wedding day ended up with a huge thunderstorm and the Solitude team went above and beyond to come up with backup plans and ensure we had the day we envisioned. We even spoke to the Village Store staff who had heard through the radios how much work Solitude was putting in to prepare for the storm and get the chairlifts back running. A team effort for sure! They truly made it all come together and I couldn't recommend Sarah or the Solitude team more.

My daughter had her wedding at Solitude last weekend. It was AMAZING! The rehearsal dinner and welcome gathering were at St. Bernard’s restaurant. The ceremony was outside on the helicopter landing pad (a gorgeous snowy meadow), and the reception was at the Last Chance Lodge. The after party was at the Thirsty Squirrel. All 145 guests stayed somewhere in Solitude Village. We pretty much hit up most of the venues! The staff was the BEST I’ve ever worked with, which is saying a lot as I am an Event Planner and Florist. Not only did the Solitude staff work hard to successfully accommodate all our requests, they were organized, reliable and SO NICE. The whole planning process was really fun. The food at all of the venues was DELICIOUS, and the venues were set up exactly as we had specified. Everyone said it was THE BEST wedding weekend they’d ever attended. Words cannot due justice in describing the INCREDIBLE wedding experience we all had at Solitude this past weekend. Everything exceeded our high expectations. Quick, book now before it fills up!

We had our reception in January at St Bernard's which is a part of the Inn. We were the first winter wedding in a long while for Solitude and they did not fall short. This venue is so romantic and was perfect for a more intimate group. We worked with Sarah as we got closer to the wedding and she was fantastic. She was very responsive, attentive to detail, and always offered to meet with us in person. We were particularly worried about guest and vendor parking with the ski season in progress and Sarah handled it all. The food and drinks were phenomenal as well. I was blown away by the banquet staff's service and cooperation throughout the day. I couldn't have asked for a better venue, event coordinator, and staff.

We got married at Roundhouse in mid-September and here is an edited version of the email I sent Sarah (our Even Coordinator) afterwards:
"- All of the food was delicious the whole weekend, but we repeatedly heard (and are still hearing) from our guests about the elk, the succotash on the Halibut, and the chocolate tort in particular. Thank the chef for going out of her way to make meals gluten free.
- Shuttle drivers were kind and very accommodating to my Grandmother (and all of our rowdy guests).
- All of the servers, St. Bernards staff, lifties, bike patrol, bar, and hotel staff were warm and welcoming throughout the whole weekend which created an energetic and comfortable environment for us and our guests; the atmosphere would have been different if staff were grumpy and irritable, so this is no small thing. The Banquet Director (Dusten) in particular was very kind and personable to us and our families. I felt confident the event would go smoothly in his hands.
- Heather at the Inn went out of her way to pick up 4 of our guests in the Moonbeam parking lot in a Pan-am at 2:00AM after their Uber dropped them off there.
- Your (Sarah) organization, professionalism, responsiveness, and flexibility (ie. meeting in the evenings, fitting 141 ppl in Roundhouse, meeting us before the rehearsal, sorting out the cake delivery, etc.) made it easy on us. Astoundingly, every detail we discussed was executed. Having now worked with a variety of people in the wedding industry, it is clear you are a cut above the rest. Thank you. "
Could not recommend Solitude enough. One key, if you have out of town guests, is to strongly encourage them to stay in Solitude Village (as opposed to Park City or Sandy). Running into people around the village and all events being so close made the whole weekend extra special and unique, many of our guests commented on it.

We got married 2 weeks ago at the St. Bernard inn and lawn. The wedding was absolutely beautiful and everything we wanted. Sasha, the event coordinator, was easy to communicate with and always responded in timely manners. We were worried the snow may not melt in time after the crazy snow year and she even sent us update pictures to keep us in the loop! (It did melt). She made sure the whole day ran smooth, and I never had to feel stressed about a thing the day of. The staff was great, the food was delicious. We even had multiple guests say it was some of the best wedding food they'd had. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and a perfect day!

I truly cannot say enough about our wedding at Solitude. It was the most perfect day and perfect location. We got married at the top of Moonbeam lift and had the reception at Moonbeam Lodge. If you are undecided about the lift -- it IS worth it. The scenery is amazing and really adds to your special day. We loved it and the guests did too!
The biggest unexpected positive was the staff -- I don't know if there is a better wedding team out there. They were incredibly kind, great with guests, and very quick to act. They have weddings down to a science and it feels like they know what you need before you do. Very professional, very kind, and very team driven. They are absolutely there to support you and make your day everything you wanted it to be and more!
As far as prep, we mostly worked with Sasha. She is SO sweet and supportive. Our beautiful wedding wouldn't have been what it was without her helping with all the prep and working behind the scenes day of. She is very experienced and asks you thoughtful questions so you don't miss any details. She is well versed in the space and the venue's capabilities. You would be incredibly lucky to work with Sasha. We love her!
Wedding - The views at the top of Moonbeam lift are absolutely stunning. You definitely feel like a mountain bride up there and you'll get the most beautiful pictures. If you haven't put two and two together, yes the wedding procession is done using the lift so each bridesmaid/groomsmen duo gets off the lift and walks right down the aisle. Bride gets loaded up a few chairs behind for ~dramatic effect~. It is SO cool and very unique. Again, the staff is truly fantastic and they knew exactly how to execute this so seriously don't even worry - they got you! If you are looking to splurge on anything - rent the lift!!
Reception - Moonbeam Lodge is gorgeous. Incredible views, great space, and huge parking lot. (yes parking is free!) We loved the lawn out back, the clock tower, reception hall, and Argenta Pub. Very beautiful in the summer. Glen, the head bartender, is a true experienced professional. Excellent at his job and really made our night!
Lodge - The Lodge is awesome. Great amenities and wonderful rooms. You'll really enjoy your stay! Note for any guests trying to get an uber from the Lodge to the airport or just out of the canyon -- good luck! I had 3 guests schedule ubers and all got cancelled. Do NOT depend on uber rides out of the canyon.
If you are going for a mountain wedding in Utah, Solitude Mountain Resort is absolutely the place. You seriously cannot beat the staff. They are the most genuine people who really do want to make your day special. You'll have an amazing experience with them and you'll have the BEST pictures. We are so incredibly grateful for Sasha, Glen, and the entire staff that worked our wedding. They gave us a day we will never forget and now we get to see them when we go skiing in the winter! Thank you Solitude!!!

POSITIVES:
The venue was absolutely perfect. We were at the Roundhouse, which is their venue part way up the mountain. The set up was stunning - the views were stunning - there was such a wow factor for guests having to take the ski lift above the golden fall trees. The staff on site were SO FUN. The bartenders, wait staff and banquet manager were 10/10. We were their last wedding of the season so everyone was in a great mood and SUPER helpful. They even help us set up karaoke at St. Bernard's. Food and drinks were stellar, and it honestly was perfect.
NEGATIVES
I worked primarily with Emily before the wedding. She was so nice and lovely, and at the end of the day our wedding was absolutely perfect. I wish that Emily's response times were faster, but her responses were comprehensive. The tasting was a bit of a mess. Emily had clearly told me about their deadline for getting our picks for the tasting that we were scheduled to go to, but unfortunately that week was a really awful week for my partner and I personally, so we missed the 12p deadline and got back to her at 5pm. The next day around 3pm she let us know that they couldn't accomodate our requests and that we had missed the last tasting of the year. I really wish she had called me to get our order in - the tasting was really important for us so we had to order blind. Thankfully the food was phenomenal! My partner and I had received the banquet order at the onset when we booked the venue, and we were warned that the service fees and taxes often catch people off guard, but wow did they ever. We ended up spending quite a bit more on the venue and food than we had anticipated - by a large margin at that.
At the end of the day, I'd definitely recommend Solitude. Our guests raved about their stay and experience, and it was overall an absolutely perfect day.

Solitude was the most stunning wedding venue, it was the venue of my dreams!! Everyone said it was the most beautiful and fun wedding. We had our ceremony on The Inn lawn and our reception was at the Last Chance lodge, both turned out perfectly! Sasha was amazing to work with and I can’t recommend her enough!! She made planning so much easier and made sure everything went smoothly on our wedding day. The food was delicious and the lodge looked stunning. I highly recommend them as a venue.

We got married at Solitude last month and we honestly could not have wished for a better experience! Our ceremony was at the Lawn and the reception at Last Chance Lodge. Everything was perfect. Kate got us off to a fantastic start by answering all of our questions and helping us hammer out some of the basics, and then Emily seamlessly took over a few months before the wedding. The ceremony space was beautiful, and Last Chance was the perfect size for our party. The entire staff is comprised of absolute professionals, from the set up crew to the dinner staff and bartenders, even the golf cart driver to help our grandparents get around! My husband and I were so busy dancing that we didn't get to have our wedding cake, but the staff saved us some for later. We were able to reserve the Thirsty Squirrel for our after party, and Emily had Stone Haus Pizza make us some late-night snacks. It was a great way to end the night. Our guests had nothing but good things to say about the food, and my husband and I agree! My husband and I have been to seven weddings in the last year and hands down, Solitude had the best food. The strawberry mint fizz, risotto balls, pistachio-crusted halibut, beef tenderloin, and tres leches cake were the favorites. From the initial tour, multiple consultations and menu tastings, to the rehearsal dinner at St. Bernards, to the entire wedding day, we cannot thank solitude enough for our perfect wedding. We will be recommending them to anyone who is interested!

Amazing venue to have your ceremony and reception! We were married right outside of Last Chance lodge and the Solitude staff were very supportive throughout the entire process! The only thing we heard from guests were that they wished the food was kept out a little longer during the reception, the staff were SO on top of it they might have taken it away a little too soon for everyone. All in all no complaints and highly recommend getting married here!!

Solitude is the all around perfect venue. We had our ceremony at the top of Moonbeam lift and the reception on the lawn at Roundhouse. It was everything we could have hoped for and all our guests said it was the most beautiful location and best, most fun wedding they have been to. The initial communication was a bit rocky due to some reorganization in the events department, but once Sasha was hired, the communication improved dramatically and we were very satisfied. Sasha helped with all of the venue details, schedule, communication with vendors for setup/deliveries, day of communicating with the staff, and was overall a rockstar. She was very accessible, was at our rehearsal to help make sure everyone knew the plan since we were taking the lift up to the ceremony, and the day of making sure everything was set and there was proper communication with the Solitude staff. The rest of the staff was also amazing and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. I highly recommend Solitude, but especially the Roundhouse venue!

I’d like to leave a 3 1/2 star review, overall pretty good but not fantastic. Daughter wedding last Saturday at the Moonbeam Lodge.
Of the 100 guests 95 were from out of town. Although the evenings were pleasant, during the day it got quiet hot, and I’m a Floridian. The resort rooms and condos are not air conditioned, it was very uncomfortable at times. I know that it is primarily a ski resort, but box fans really didn’t cut it. The condos are privately owned, and it is up to the owner to renovate, our condo was in need of a facelift. This summer only two restaurants were open, the pizza place and honeycomb. The bar was not opened until Friday night.
Now onto the wedding itself. Construction was in process at Moonbeam. And the lawn where ceremonies take place was next to the construction, and blocked off with an 8’ wooden fence. The setup was not moved further to the right, leaving the fence in more than half the pictures and blocking the rest of the view up the mountain. The food was very good and everyone enjoyed their meal. However, the bar is in another room causing people having to leave the main room, slowing down getting the party started.

I recently got married up at the roundhouse lodge at Solitude and I’ve had multiple guests tell me it was the best wedding they’ve ever been to. The food and the venue are extremely hard to beat and I give both of those items 5 stars. The staff was also super kind at the wedding, let us stay a little longer because we were having so much fun, and were extremely accommodating.
The reason I ultimately am giving 4 stars to this venue is due to communication issues from the beginning. When we first wanted to tour the venue and book, we could not reach anyone who was able to help us! I called many times, left voicemails, and sent multiple emails. Once we were booked, our communication with Lindsay was a little better but not great. Eventually Lindsay left her role and we worked with Sasha who was wonderful at communication. Every issue we found with the venue was not Sasha’s fault but there were a few. For example, the roundhouse venue is perfect for an outdoor wedding but they do not have tables/chairs included with the venue that you are able to use outside. This would have been fine but I just wish we knew up front about that and had more time to prepare since we thought they were included all along. Although they do have circle tables that you can rent to put outside, they don’t have any circle table linens so we had to figure out renting those as well last minute since we weren’t informed. We were also promised a food tasting for months before the wedding and they ran out of time planning it and we never received one which was kind of a bummer.
Also, I just found out they ran out of food and one of our tables didn’t get any entrees so that’s pretty unacceptable. But regardless, was a beautiful venue reception.

Kate was very knowledgeable and helpful with the wedding planning process. The Solitude venue was gorgeous, and the team was very flexible the day of the wedding, especially when there were issues with wildfire smoke and we needed to move our outdoor reception to the indoors.
My only constructive recommendation is that I would have preferred to interact with Kate/Lindsay a little more the day of the wedding. I worked with Kate for months leading up to the wedding, so it was a little off-putting to not visibly see her at our wedding. I almost felt like they were avoiding me, but maybe because they didn't want to bother me? I understand that they could not take the place of a wedding planner, but a couple of check-ins would have been a nice professional touch. I was expecting their assistance with the ceremony, but the entrance and ending could have also been smoother if they were there the entire time--lots of family members missed their corsages and nobody was there to direct us after the ceremony, so we looked lost. Pretty minor things, but I personally would have felt more comforted by a couple of small check-ins and if they were around for key transitions. If there are concerns about bothering the bride, I recommend asking each bride about their preference for interactions or identifying whothe point-person is for the wedding day—may it be a friend or family member.
Overall, good experience and thank you Solitude!

Kate and Lindsay were awesome! We moved our wedding back an entire year from last year, and they were with us every step of the way. They were timely and professional. They helped organize the ceremony, reception, and lodging. I would 100% recommend using this as your venue.

Kate was amazing! My husband and I are seriously so impressed with how amazing our wedding was because of Solitude. We got married at the Moonbeam Lodge, and it was everything that we hoped it would be. Everything was so organized and beautiful! Kate was amazing at keeping in touch and answered all of our questions. Kate made the whole wedding planning process so easy. She seriously knows her stuff.
This wedding venue is the best of the best. If you are looking for anything in the mountains, I highly recommend choosing Solitude.

Kate and Lindsay were so helpful to make the planning experience as smooth as possible. We're located out of state and were unable to view the venue ahead of time but Kate patiently answered all our questions by email. Our ceremony was on the Inn Lawn with the reception at the Honeycomb Grill. They were both within easy walking distance. Everything went perfectly, the scenery was amazing, and I highly recommend both the venue and the staff!

Having our reception at Solitude Mountain Resort was absolutely perfect. From the first meeting until the reception was over, Solitude staff made us feel welcome and were willing to create our ideal wedding experience. They were professional, accommodating, and flexible to last minute changes. The food was outstanding. We met with several similar venues and Solitude really stood out as the venue that would be the perfect fit for not only our reception, but our guests as they all were flying from out of state. Our guests loved being able to stay in the village and had so many great things to say about their entire weekend. I can't recommend Solitude enough!

We can't imagine a better wedding venue. The Solitude team helped us create the wedding of our dreams! We got married on the Inn Lawn this September, with reception inside at the Last Chance Lodge. Throughout the planning process, Julianna and Kate were incredible to work with. They helped us incorporate our own traditions into the Solitude space--we truly felt the wedding was exactly what we hoped for. (They even were willing to make a cake using our recipe!). They are very organized and helped us stay on track with all the detail. They also were wonderful at communicating with our other vendors to make sure everyone was on the same page.
All of the staff at Solitude were kind, down-to-earth, and happy to help us and our guests with anything we needed. For many of our guests, Solitude was their first introduction to Utah, and they loved it--several plan to come back for vacation! It's a great venue for people of all ages and interests. Great for kids--tons of space to run around, great pool. Great for outdoorsy guests with lots of hikes and biking nearby. And, also great for our less-outdoorsy guests--they loved checking out mountain views from the chairlift or relaxing on the patios!
We had the best day of our lives--couldn't have hoped for a better celebration! If you want a relaxed, fun, beautiful, and personal wedding--we recommend this venue 100%!

Looking back on our wedding, I am confident there was no better venue in the world for us. We knew we wanted to be married in the mountains. We wanted all of our friends and family who were coming to town to feel like they were a world away from the hustle of normal life but also be easy to get to and stay. We also wanted to have a venue that fully capitalized on the mountains it was set in. Being just 35 minutes from SLC airport, Solitude was all of these things and so much more. Kate and Julianna were the perfect blend of professional and accommodating. We always felt like they were on our team, not simply our hosts. We had a welcome BBQ at Last Chance Lodge on Friday, the ceremony at the top of Moonbeam express chairlift and the reception at Moonbeam lodge. Everything was perfect. The guests love the beautiful drive up the canyon getting to the venue, the taco bar at the wedding was amazing, the ice cream cookie sandwiches Friday night were a hit, and taking a chairlift up to the ceremony was unforgettable for everyone. We had the band outside on the patio and the setting was just gorgeous. And best of all, it was so convenient to have everyone staying on property with lots of things to do from hiking to biking, disc golf and the pool! We had a lot of help from Hoopes Events wedding planning to make the weekend go off without a hitch!

Our wedding ceremony at Solitude Ski Resort was AMAZING! We had our ceremony and reception at Moonbeam lodge for a more private, intimate feel. It’s a beautiful venue that my guests loved. Solitude mountain resort was the most amazing place to share our wedding with all of our loved ones. I have received glowing compliments from all our family and friends; not only in regards to the view, but also the food, the drinks, the accommodations and everything. Kate was absolutely flawless, her attention to detail and organizational skills contributed directly to the success of our wedding. I had to plan my wedding overseas and regardless of the unique challenges, Solitude took it with grace, flexibility, and they ensured that it was the most amazing experience of our lives. Couldn’t be more thankful. Much love, Arielle and Lewis

We had our wedding in July 2019 and had a fantastic experience with both Kate Macconi, the Events Manager, and Solitude as a whole. We are planners by nature and had a ton of questions, which Kate answered with great patience. The planning process was very smooth, even as we had multiple food tastings and many dietary restrictions to accommodate. Most of our guests were coming in from out of town, so we wanted to make sure they were well taken care of throughout the weekend, and Kate helped us do just that. We held a welcome reception on Friday night at St Bernard’s and the Library Bar, which was fantastic. The food (dessert action station and chips/salsa/guacamole) was presented beautifully and was delicious, and the lawn was perfect for setting up some games. On Saturday, we had our ceremony on the lawn at the Inn and our reception at the Last Chance Lodge. The setup for the ceremony was perfect, and the reception space was great (if slightly warm). We had our dinner upstairs in the LCL and dancing downstairs, which worked well for our group of about 120. Throughout the weekend and after, our guests continually commented on how amazing the food was and how impressed they were by everything at Solitude. The staff did a wonderful job accommodating all of the dietary restrictions in our group and ensuring that everything ran smoothly. It was an absolutely unforgettable weekend and everything we could have possibly hoped for. We highly recommend Solitude as a venue for your event, without any reservations!

We got married at Moonbeam Lodge at the end of July and it was an amazing experience!! We worked with both Kate and Julianna throughout our wedding planning process. They were both quick to respond to our email questions and were always willing to help us out. They helped get us some different alcohol options for our host bar that wasn't on their list. We did our taste testing and met with Julianna to go through the days events and to get details together. We didn't get a day of coordinator because I could tell that Solitude was experienced in wedding events and knew what they were doing and were organized themselves. They handled the food, place settings, linens, and even some of the setup. We did our ceremony up the lift and had some of the flowers from the ceremony site brought back down to the lodge for the reception decor and the staff helped us with this. We encountered some rain during our ceremony and the staff drove up a van to help take down guests so they wouldn't get soaked on the lift on the way down. Everyone we worked with was very friendly and professional. All of our guests were from out of state and many this was their first time to Utah and we wanted to wow them with the beautiful mountains. Our guests LOVED the venue!! We didn't have to do much for decor since the lodge and outside setting was already so beautiful. We ended up coming in right on budget and all of our guests kept telling us this was the most beautiful wedding they had been to. I wouldn't have changed a thing!

I can't say enough good things about Solitude. The venue was beautiful for our August wedding. The weather was perfect and it was so fun to have all our family and friends stay at the resort for our weekend. Our guests loved how much there was to do in solitude village!
The staff was wonderful and made everything very easy on us. The setting for the ceremony was so beautiful we hardly had to decorate and cost of the whole wedding was very reasonable.

Solitude was the perfect place for a summer wedding! I got married at Last Chance Lodge in the end of July and the weather was perfect! Most of our guests came from out of town and stayed at Solitude all weekend, which really gave my husband and I time to connect with everyone. Our day of coordination, Kate, really helped us with planning along the way. She was also available to answer questions and made sure that the whole day was organized and ran smoothly. Our wedding planning ended up being a breeze, largely due to Kate and the fact that Solitude handled all food, drinks, tables, dishes, and linens. That only left us with needing to book a florist, photographer and DJ.

Our daughter got married on Saturday outside the Moonbeam Lodge with the beautiful green trees and mountainside as our backdrop. It couldn't have been more beautiful. Our experience with Solitude was amazing. From the beginning, they were easy to work with and very helpful. Kate, the events coordinator for Solitude, is very organized and makes the planning very easy. We met with her throughout the planning and she had great ideas and gently guided us through the process. She is not pushy at all, but was able to keep us moving forward due to her great people and communication skills, and knowledge of her position while also never making us feel as if we were a burden. Her services couldn't have been better than they were.
We also had a tremendous experience with the rest of the staff on the day of the wedding. The food was incredible and of very high qualify. The kindness of all of the staff assisting us was over the top. They never acted as if they were just doing their job, but they all made us feel as if we were the most important thing in the world and as if no request was an imposition. They were amazing.
I told my daughter and son-in-law that there was no such thing as a perfect wedding. They told me I was wrong, as they did have a perfect wedding. I give a lot of credit for the success of the day to the staff at Solitude for doing everything they could to make our wedding and reception run smoothly. We had so much fun and didn't have to worry or stress about things getting taken care of. I would definitely have another event at Solitude if the occasion were to arise. Thanks to Kate, Chris and the whole Solitude team for all the great food, service, planning and over the top kindness. We couldn't be more pleased and wouldn't change anything.

We really have no complaints from our wedding at solitude. My wife and I hosted our ceremony atop the moonbeam lift and had the first outdoor reception on the moonbeam lawn (we hope it won’t be the last). From day one Kate was beyond easy to work with and helped to ensure the best possible outcome for the big day. Wedding staff was phenomenal and the food could not have been better.

I have nothing but positive things to say about Solitude Mountain Resort and its staff. There was minimal stress when it came to planning with this venue. My event coordinator, Kate, was active during the entire planning process that lasted about a year. She thought of things being an issue before it even came to my mind and had a plan for it as well.
I personally didn't get to eat much, but multiple guests were raving about the food at the reception. One guest said, 'The salmon was cooked to perfection.'
They are just so flexible, easy to work with and want to make your wedding stress free and memorable. They really did make our wedding a day to remember positively.

Solitude was a gorgeous wedding venue! We got married at the end of September and the scenery was spectacular. We worked with Julianna and she was amazing! She was very friendly and knowledgeable. A lot goes in to planning a wedding, and Julianna had everything covered. She responded quickly to my emails, and met us for several meetings. Solitude catered all of our meals and the food was phenomenal. We got so many compliments from guests on how good the food was! Solitude also has their own chairs and linens/dinnerware, so we didn’t have to provide any of it. Everything was so easy and convenient! We were able to get a room block at The Inn, have our rehearsal and dinner, host a welcome dessert and have our wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, reception and after party at Solitude! We wouldn’t have done it anywhere else! Their prices were also more reasonable, compared to other local ski resorts. Solitude was perfect and exactly what we wanted for our mountain wedding!

BEST DECISION YOU WILL EVER MAKE!!! Seriously, our family & friends are STILL raving about how unique, beautiful & amazing our wedding was! Kate & Julianna along with Solitude's staff, were a HUGE part as to why! I was a particular bride & Kate was a GOD SENT for me. She was so responsive & met with me several times before the wedding. If I hadn't thought of something, she did! She was so organized by making sure every detail was accounted for. Julianna was more involved the weekend of my wedding & was so helpful as well! Both the girls were there on my wedding day, talking with my vendors, checking in on me, moving things.. They were unreal. We chose to have our ceremony up the chairlift & our reception at Moonbeam Lodge this August & it was breathtaking! If you love outdoors/the mountains, choose the upper ceremony area!!! Our guests had the most unique experience taking the chairlift up to our ceremony & being seated in the middle of the mountains. Our photos turned out unlike any other ceremony you've ever seen. I cannot say enough about how incredible our wedding was & I would choose Solitude over & over again!!

You guys, BOOK THIS PLACE. We had our wedding ceremony and reception at Moonbeam Lodge. Our overall experience was phenomenal! Kate worked with us for everything. Julianna helped out for the day of the wedding. They both were fantastic! Kate was so patient and kind and very informative. She answered all my questions in a timely fashion, made all the planning super super easy, and also kept us informed of anything happening up at the lodge. We were super lucky to have the leaves change just enough to have bright pops of yellow in all of our photos. The lodge was gorgeous. We couldn't have asked for a better day/people to work with. Also, the food they provide is AMAZING. You have so many options! I really cannot say enough about how good everything was for us. Seriously, book with Solitude ASAP!

If you want the wedding of your dreams, choose Solitude. Our venue was the Moonbeam Lodge, it was BEAUTIFUL. Our ceremony was on the lawn and our reception a combination of indoor/outdoor. The staff was spectacular and offered to help in any way they could. Kate, our wedding coordinator was especially something to rave about. She handled every single detail and reviewed things with us several times. There were no surprises and every detail was perfect. She was always friendly and did things with a smile. I would recommend anyone to choose Solitude!

We worked with Julianna most of the time, but Kate also helped out on our wedding night. Their organization and package options made planning our wedding from out of state very easy and low stress. They coordinated with a lot of our other vendors to ensure the timeline on our wedding day went smoothly. They were always available over email to help coordinate or answer any of our many many questions. If you're looking for an amazing mountain wedding, this is the place!

We cannot recommend Solitude Mountain Resort enough! We reserved our lodging and hosted our rehearsal dinner, ceremony, and reception at Solitude Mountain Resort. The staff was very accommodating and incredibly easy to communicate with. If we were to do it all over again, we would absolutely choose this venue again. Furthermore, the catering was out of this world in terms of taste, quality, and variety!

When my (now) husband and I first started planning our wedding we were unsure if we would actually be able to have our mountain wedding. After searching for a venue for almost a month we stumbled upon Solitude (thanks to a friendly stranger in Starbucks). We were amazed with our entire experience at Solitude, our first meeting with Kate exceeded all expectations and we didn't have to sacrifice anything for our day. Working with Kate was one of our best decisions, she answered every question and handled last minute emergencies professionally and at ease. She kept in contact and reminded me weekly about missing items to ensure our day went smoothly. On the big day, Kate handled last minute changes, guest needs, scheduling and keeping us on track and letting us enjoy our party. Everyone at Solitude made our day incredible (even the rain stopped just in time to keep our ceremony on the lawn!). Moonbeam Lodge is BEAUTIFUL and our guests are still taking about it. With close to 70 people in attendance it was roomy and comfortable to eat, drink, and dance all night. We can't imagine any other option and we are THRILLED to have spent our week with our families at Solitude Mountain Resort.

We are SO THRILLED with the experience Solitude created for us and our guests. Many accolades from all guests about how beautiful and enjoyable their experience was. I am from Salt Lake but we live in DC and I cannot recommend this venue more strongly.
From the get go Kate Macconi made us feel confident about the process, and appreciate how willing they were to personalize this experience and special weekend for us. The "week-of" was incredible, the team at the Inn was so attentive. Our Friday evening party, the ceremony and the reception were perfectly executed and coordinated and we got numerous compliments on the reception food (served for 200 guests). Solitude thought of every detail.
We had almost 200 people and everyone at Solitude was friendly, professional, responsive and simply the best in the business. Planning was so smooth it was unbelievable!

Solitude hosted the wedding of my dreams, it seriously could not have been more perfect. First of all - it's so beautiful there! Second of all - they know their stuff! Every staff member I interacted with was professional, friendly, and helpful. It's not cheap, but we truly felt it was worth every penny: the logistics were seamless, the food/drink/staff were great, and we didn't have to worry about anything. The majority of our guests were traveling from out of state, and everyone loved being in the mountains, staying in the Village and getting to enjoy the beautiful nature of the Wasatch.
Last thing - hugest shout out to Kate Macconi, wedding planner extraordinaire! She is so kind, diligent, responsive, organized, and really just amazing at her job. Thank you Kate, we will remember our flawless wedding for the rest of our lives :)

Solitude exceeded our expectations in every way!! We had the most amazingly beautiful wedding at the Moonbeam lodge. Julianna was so helpful, available & willing to answer questions (and quick too!), give us seating chart options and meet to look at the space. Our food was the most amazing thing I had ever eaten and presented so beautifully. It was hot and even during cocktail hour, our guests said the food was always available and delicious! The wait staff was so sweet. Our guests (most who came from out of town) loved the venue in the mountains and continuously told me about how nice everyone at the resort had been. This made wedding planning so much easier and it was great to know all of our guests were treated just as well! I seriously can not say enough great things about Julianna and the staff at Solitude! If you read this, thank you again!!!

We worked with Kate Macconi to plan our wedding and she was just amazing! My husband lives in LA and I am mostly out on business trips, however, Kate was very flexible with our schedule and helped us stay on top of our tasks. Having a traditional Hindu Ceremony, Kate had to work with Solitude on accommodating a lot of new rituals, and everything worked smoothly. She helped connect us with Andrew, the F&B director who then worked with me and his team on recreating my mom's Indian recipes. We received great support and coordination from everyone at the Resort. The views were breathtaking and all our guests had a wonderful time both during and outside of the wedding.

Our daughter got married here this weekend and it was an amazing day! The staff, Kate, Julianna, and Stephen were so helpful and met every expectation that we had. There wasn't a single request that went unanswered. Solitude definitely provides excellent service as well as delicious food! My daughter had a perfect day- the staff helped us to have dry chairs and warm drinks as the weather unexpectedly delivered snow! I would highly recommend this venue !

I had my wedding at Solitude the last weekend of August 2017 and it was absolutely amazing. Kate, my wedding coordinator, was a lifesaver. Her services are included with the price of the venue rental and it was simply priceless. For almost one year she kept in constant email contact with me and went over what I needed to prepare or do to make sure the big day was a major success (reminded me about vendors, flowers, events, etc... she thought of everything). The day of the wedding she was there with me from morning to evening and made sure everyone had their flowers, were in the right place/time, and that we were on schedule. I can't thank her enough.
The staff at Solitude were also extremely friendly and pleasant. My guests kept raving to me about how kind everyone was at Solitude--they made all of my out-of-towners feel right at home.
About 80% of my wedding guests came from out of town, and arriving at Solitude was a jaw dropper for them. They LOVED the mountain setting and the Solitude village and everyone made a great vacation out of it. The day after our wedding we did a hike at Lake Solitude and so many people were absolutely wowed by the views.
Solitude set up all the tables and linens and did an absolutely fantastic job. For food you have to use Solitude as a vendor, but this actually made the whole process more convenient and easy. My guests all raved about the food (we had steak and salmon) and the prices are comparatively affordable.
I also planned the wedding from out of town and it was a smashing success. Solitude went above and beyond my expectations. They are extremely professional and respectful and they know what they're doing.
If you want an absolutely stunning wedding in the mountains surrounded by lush, green forests--then Solitude is it. I can't rave about this place enough. Thank you Solitude for giving me a perfect, perfect wedding.

The venue is amazing and the staff was wonderful for my wedding on August 20th. The spectacular views of the mountain side behind to the ceremony to a large open reception venue with pretty wood beams. Brandon and I could not have asked for a more beautiful wedding. On top of a gorgeous wedding venue, Julianna was very attentive, professional and helpful throughout the whole process and ensured the wedding went smoothly. At any point, she was just a call or email away. Julianna was wonderful! She went above and beyond to make our day special. Thank you Julianna and the Solitude staff for creating such a wonderful wedding for Brandon and I!

The reviews are spot on! We got married up at Solitude July 22nd, 2017 and everything was perfect. We worked with both Kate and Juliana throughout the planning and event process. Both of those ladies do their job 110%. We loved working with both of them and have nothing but praise for their incredible work ethic. Same with Patrick who was the Inn manager. Our wedding guests had so much fun enjoying the resort for the week from s’mores to ski lift rides. We had many compliments on the food from the rehearsal dinner at the Honeycomb Grill to the cocktail hour appetizers and dinner entrees. Seriously, everything was positively incredible and I cannot thank them enough for doing such a fabulous job!
Oh! and I'm remembering now that we didn't initially look at Solitude and I think it was because I didn't like the advertised photos and we thought we had to have rectangular tables but man, oh, man am I glad we went to check it out because I wouldn't have wanted our wedding to take place anywhere else! Go check it out!

My daughter and son-in-law had their wedding at Solitude Mountain Resort in June of the this year. It was absolutely the most wonderful experience. Everything went smoothly and the food and ambience was fabulous. Kate, who manages the venue, was a huge help! She kept us on track and organized and responded to any email or call right away. We cannot praise the Solitude Mountain Resort experience highly enough! Thank you for such a magical and perfect wedding experience!

We just had our wedding at Solitude and it was absolutely perfect. The majority of our guests stayed in the Solitude Village. It was really convenient having everyone so close and allowed our guests to really enjoy themselves. We had our ceremony on the Moonbeam lawn, cocktails on the Moonbeam patio, and reception in the Moonbeam Lodge. I loved how remote the venue feels and how easy all of the transitions were throughout the night. The lodge and the surrounding landscape are absolutely stunning. That was what originally drew us to Solitude but only one of many reasons why our wedding was so perfect. I was a little nervous not being able to test the food ahead of time but in the end it exceeded our expectations. The food was delicious and our guests have continued to rave about how good it was. The staff working our event was amazing. They all were very helpful, professional, and friendly. Everyone I spoke with was extremely accommodating. One of the greatest assets Solitude has is their events coordinator, Kate. She is one of the best in the business. When deciding on where to host my wedding I talked to dozens of events coordinators and visited many different venues. In my opinion, none of them were as good as Kate. She helped us through every part of the planning and was quick to answer any questions I had. She was extremely friendly and professional throughout the entire process. I truly believe she is one of the main reasons everything went so smoothly at our wedding. In the end I can’t think of a better place to host a wedding. Solitude helped me to create my dream wedding and I know all of my guests had a blast.

We hosted our rehearsal dinner, wedding and wedding brunch at Solitude. We loved having each of our events at a different location at Solitude. All of the lodges are great! The food was delicious! Kate (the events coordinator) is amazing. Most of our guests stayed at the Solitude Inn. The staff was absolutely wonderful to myself and my guests. All of our guest raved about the service they received. Simply the best!

Working with Kate, the event manager at Solitude Mountain Resort, was absolutely fabulous. She was extremely responsive-even on weekends and during the evening. The venue was the perfect mountain setting with all of the modern amenities. The staff at the resort were lovely and made us and our guests feel like family. The only thing I regret is that the weekend had to end! I can't say enough kind things about hosting our wedding at Solitude.

I got married at Solitude on August 20, 2016. We had our rehearsal dinner at the Last Chance Lodge, our wedding ceremony on the Inn Lawn, our cocktail hour on the upper deck at the Moonbeam Lodge, and our reception inside the Moonbeam Lodge. I loved everything about Solitude as a wedding venue, and wouldn't change a thing! Kate is the event coordinator. She is absolutely wonderful, and thinks of every detail! She was always available to answer our questions or address concerns, and was extremely knowledgeable. She's also so nice and overall super easy to work with. The day of the wedding the rest of the staff was also very friendly. Our weather was beautiful, high of 70 with light breeze and otherwise sunny. For a hot Salt Lake summer, Solitude was the perfect escape! Most of the wildflowers and daisies were gone by the time we had our wedding, but the mountain slopes are gorgeous no matter what. The Moonbeam Lodge was also really easy to transform with wedding decorations, and looked absolutely stunning when we added some extra lighting/drapery along with linens and floral arrangements. Overall, I am so happy we chose Solitude as our location!

We did our cocktail hour and ceremony on the Inn Lawn, which was covered in daisies and other wildflowers on the day of our wedding! ($1000 ceremony fee)
We had our wedding reception at Last Chance Mining Camp at Solitude. It has a rustic feel with wooden rafters and tables. There's also a patio with a great view of the mountain and the village. ($1500 reception venue fee)
Solitude catered all of our food, and the food and beverage director was very flexible with what we wanted. He ended up mostly going off menu for our dinner and everything was delicious! ($4100 dinner, appetizers, and alcohol for 50 people)
Kate, Solitude's wedding coordinator, was SO great to work with! She's very responsive, very friendly, and overall a pleasure to work with. I'm so glad we had our wedding up here! Highly recommend!

I absolutely loved my decision to have my wedding ceremony and reception at Solitude Mountain Resort. The weather was unbelievably beautiful and the service was outstanding. Kimi, though very busy since she handles everything on her own, was very fun, upbeat and professional. Kimi wants everyone to have a great time and will make sure that you are happy, no matter what problems arise. We stayed at the resort (in the Village) with our guests the entire wedding weekend and received numerous compliments -- our guests had such a great time -- nobody wanted to leave. If I had to do it all over again, I would make the exact same decision.
